Sarah step out of the car with her mom feeling a bit relief, atleast she’ll gonna spent the weekened with her grandparents.
“don’t worry Sarah, i know you have like thousands of birthday to celebrate and i will always celebrate that with you but as of now i guess your father is right, we can’t grant your request not that we don’t have the money but you have to un-derstand your mommy is so busy these days, i hardly have time for myself talk more of you but i will try to make it up to you. Just trust me okay? Erica said holding Sarah’s shoulder.
“it okay mom, i guess i was just been jealous of Princess,” Sarah said sadly.
“don’t worry Sarah that the reason i want you to stay away from her. Princess and her mother are not good people they might end up killing you,” Erica said while Sarah seems confuse.
“but Princess is nice, she’s also my sister and her mother loves me too,”
“i guess you won’t un-derstand that, anyway grandma is waiting, let go in,” Erica as she held Sarah’s hand and they walked in.
“grandma,” Sarah ran to Mrs. Amelia.
“oh i so much miss you Sarah, how are you?
“doing fine grandma, where’s grandpa? she asked looking around.
“oh.. he’s busy as usual, he just went out and how about your dad, how is he? she asked,.
“he’s doing fine grandma but he doesn’t like me,” Sarah said sadly while Amelia looked at Erica.
“Edward still hasn’t change? she asked Erica.
“do you still expect that son of yours to change, he’s so mean towards his own daughter, i mean i still don’t get it why he don’t like Sarah, it has always been Princess and Mabel,” Erica stated angrily.
“i know my son too well he might not like you Erica but Sarah is innocent, i guess his anger towards you has blinded him not to even recognise his daughter and i guess it because Sarah was from you,” Amelia said.
“Sarah just go the kitchen and get yourself something to eat, i prepare your favorite doughnut,” Amelia said while Sarah stood up and left.
“am tired of doing all this, i thought this was for the best of our company, yes everything is going on well with work but nothing is going well well with the so called marriage. Edward will never love me and it really hurts to think about that but the worst part is the way he treat Sarah, he doesn’t even care when it comes to her, he always scold her and compare her to Princess, he even have to gut to say he like Princess more than her, right to her face. Sarah is just too young for all this and moreover she hasn’t been feeling so well,
she don’t eat, always having headache and stomach ache but i call our doctor and he prescribe some drugs for her,” Erica said rushing her words, she felt so cheated and angry with everything that is going on.
“what! i will talk to Edward but have you even threaten Edward, like you’ll go away with Sarah and never to return to him?
“sure.. but his answers is always the same, he said i can leave with Sarah he don’t freaking care,” Erica said tearfully.
“i will talk to Edward, that so foolish of him,” Amelia said angrilly.
▪▪▪Erica arrived home late in the evening and meet Edward having dinner with Princess and Mabel, they look so happy and she felt so jealous.
“Erica, where’s Sarah? Edward asked while she scoffed.’
“like you care about her! Erica shrugged.
“where’s is she, she’s my daughter and i have to know about her whereabout,” Edward said, then stood up.
“well she’s far away from you and you won’t see her again,” Erica said sarcastically.
Immediately Edward’s phone rang and he picked up the call.
“mother?
“Edward, your dad and i want to talk to you tomorrow, so you need to come,” Amelia said while he sighed.
“what is it again? he asked
“it about Sarah, she’s already here with us to spent the weekend haven’t Erica told you about that?
“it okay mom, see you tomorrow,” he said then hanged up before she could even say anything.
“thank goodness she’s with mom,” Edward said then glare at Erica.
“well enjoy your dinner with your special wife and daughter,” Erica mocked then walked out on them.
“i miss Sarah already, where is she dad? Princess asked.
“she’s with your grandma,” he said while Princess gasped.
“what! why didn’t she tell me so that we will go their together, i want to go their too, it been long i see grandma and grandpa,” Princess said in a pleading tone as she looked at her mom then back to Edward.
“it okay Princess, i will take you there tomorrow,” Edward smiled.
“thank you daddy, i love you,” she giggle.
The next day in the evening…✨
Edward was already at his parents mansion, Sarah and Princess were outside playing.
“so tell me why you treated her that way? Mr. Patrick said while Edward sighed.
“dad, i just want to chase Erica out of our lives, he said simply.
“that’s not an excuse to make the little girl feel so sad, i mean you’re so rich, you have all the money and i know you also spent it on your family, Sarah is glad having a rich dad but her happiness is not complete without you,” Partick said whle Edward sighed.
“dad, mom, thank you for all this, but this my family. You’ve always decide for me, you’ve always tell me things to do and i obey you but this time around am sorry i won’t because this my family and i have the right to do whatever i want,” he said.
“not everything, you don’t have the right to hurt Sarah, she’s your daughter for crying out loud,” Amelia said angry.
“am not hurting Sarah, i just want her to be a better daughter, i don’t want her to end up like her mother, trust me mom i want the best for Sarah too but i don’t know why i feel so much angry towards her and her mom,
i don’t just want her to end up like Erica,” he said.
“okay then, it your family, your decision. But Sarah need your love as a father,” Patrick said while Edward nodded.
“i have to go, its getting late already, tomorrow is monday and they kids need to go to school so am taking them back home,” he said as he stood up.
“time to go girls,” he said to them.
“daddy, i thought we gonna sleep here tonight? Sarah asked.
“no Sarah, we are going home now,” he said.
▪▪▪▪Doctor Jones, Edward’s friend came to visit Edward with he’s son Greg.
“well you just came on time, where’s your wife? Edward asked as they walked to the dining room.
“she’s busy at work, you know how Sally can be atimes,” he said while they laughed.
“Greg.. it been long since you came i thought i won’t ever see you again,” Princess said as she rush to him.
“well am here now, where’s Sarah? he asked.
“Greg,” Sarah called with a smile as she walked up to them.
“hey kids over here, dinner is ready,” Mabel said while they quickly join her at the dining table. Mabel sat next to Edward while Jones was seated opposite to them with the three kids.
“it so yummy, i have always miss your delicious meal ma’am Mabel,” Greg said with a smile, eating a spoonful of his meal.
“my mom is the best good cook ever,” Princess giggle munching on her food while Sarah smiled.
“then i guess you should also learn that from her,” Greg replied back while Mr. Jones laugh as he watch Greg enjoying his meal.
“this a homemade food and it delicious. Greg hardly eat like this, because am always busy, so busy and same thing with his mother, sometimes its his nanny that always take care of him and just buy him any thing from the nearest restuarant or order for something. I want to make it up to him that why i bring him hear to see his friends and of course to enjoy your delicious meal,” Jones said while they laughed.
“you’re always welcome and Greg you can come here anytime you want to, just tell your nanny to bring you here so you can atleast see and play with your friends,” Mabel said with a smile.
“thank you so much,” Greg smiled.
“am travelling to Spain tomorrow for a conference but i will back in three days, I’ve just been so busy recently,” he said.
“well i guess it all for your family, that’s how it is. We worked so ha-rd just to make sure even in the next fifty years our family that is our children will enjoy from it,” Edward said while Jones nodded with a smile.
“sure but we also don’t have to forget our family, we have to support each other and atleast have time to hang out as family,” Mabel said.
“sure, sometimes i feel my parents doesn’t love me enough, their just too busy,” Greg said while Jones caressing his hair.
“i love you son and am doing all this for you,” he said while Greg smile revealing his one sided dimple, making him look so handsome.
“well let finish eating before our food get cold,” Edward said bringing everyone out of its emotional state.

?After dinner, the three kids rush to the garden.
“wow.. this the beautiful garden i have ever seen,” Greg said happily while Princess chuckle.
“sure, we have the biggest mansion and everything a child could wish for but dad never loved me,” Sarah said sadly.
“come on Sarah, stop saying that,” Princess said.
“huh… i guess you won’t un-derstand how i feel, maybe is because you’re his favorite girl,” Sarah spoke back angrily.
“it okay Sarah, here are some flowers for you anyway, if that will make you happy,” Greg said with a smile as he gave her the pink beautiful flowers he remove from the other side of the garden.
‘I love it, thank you Greg,” Sarah smile as she hug-ged him happily while Princess stare at them blankly.
“okay then, do you want to ride bicycle? Sarah asked.
“bicycle! sure i love it but look it getting late already, that should be tomorrow,” Greg suggested then sat down on the beautiful gra-sses looking at the sky which was filled up with so many stars.
“time to go Greg,” his dad called while he quickly stood up.
“your mother must be home by now, we need to go,” Jones said holding Greg hand.
“remember what mom said, you can come here anything you want,” Princess said with a smile while Greg nodded.
“thank you so much Princess. Sarah take care okay,” he said before walking away with his dad.
“Greg is a good companion,” Sarah said with a smile starring the flowers he gave her.
“sure and that’s the reason he’s our friend,” Princess said.
“i have to go to my room now, if mom comes and see me with you she might scold me again,” Sarah said sadly.
“am not a bad person, and after all am your sister,”
“Yes i know that and that’s the reason i can’t completely stay away from you because you’re my sister and i love you so much,” Sarah said while Princess hug-ged her.
“thank you so much,” she smiled.

The next day..✨
Sarah and Princess were at school, they were in the same cla-ss but Princess is seated at the first roll while Sarah is seated on third roll. Princess was done arranging her books, she turn to Sarah and saw her sleeping already.
“hey Sarah,” Sophia one of the annoying girl in their cla-ss tap Sarah which startled her from her sleep.
“you always like sleeping in the cla-ss,” Sophia said arrogantly while all attention turn to them, Princess was so angry to see Sophia talking to her sister that way.
“no wonder she’s a dullard,” Khloe said while the whole cla-ss burst out laughing.
“hey.. Sarah is not a dullard well i guess you’re just jealous of her because she’s way better than you,” Princess yelled back at Khloe.
“and you should shut up, stop defending her,” Sophia ranted.
“Sarah, you should learn to fight for yourself, don’t allow them to call you a dullard,” Princess said while Sarah sighed.
“what did you want me to say, even dad says am not that bright in school, maybe they were right actually,” Sarah said sadly, giving Sophia and Khloe the more opportunity to laugh at her.
“you see.. she knows that too, well i guess even your dad notice that too,” Sophia said while Princess angrily pushed her to the ground.
“are you girls fighting? A woman with blonde hair walked in.
“she push me Ma’am, she’s the one at fault, i was minding my own business when she pushed me,” Sophia said pointing at Princess.
“will you all get back to your seats, am sure you know the rules here, i don’t care if you are kids or not i will severly puinsh you if you try this next time.. un-derstood..? she yelled at them while Sophia nodded.
“we are sorry about it,” Princess said then quietly walked back to her seat.
… After cla-sses, their driver came and pick them home.
“Sarah you don’t have to be quiet all the time, if i haven’t defend you, you might end up being a laughing stock in the cla-ss,” Princess said bitterly.
“i was having a bad headache at school, am sorry about everything,” Sarah apologies.
“no need for that, sisters for life.. right? Princess asked.
“sure, sisters forever,” Sarah said happily while they laughed.?
