Six Years Later…?

Erica slightly push Leon from her, she wasn’t enjoying the kis-s and perhaps he’ll also be bad in bed, she thought.
” you just disgust me Leon… you’re not even a good kis-ser,” Erica barked at him. The club was buzzing with loud music and everyone seems busy, busy making out, drinking or fli-rting.
“come on Erica i guess this just one of your excuse, Erica why don’t you dump that stupid husband of yours, after all he doesn’t even care about you,”
“who told you that? Erica asked angrily.
“i just knew it. If Edward loves you, you won’t be here for me to bang you tonight,” Leon lic-k his li-ps then sm-irk while Erica slapped him.
“I love Edward and the reason why am still staying with him is because of my daughter, i don’t want her to grow up without her father by her side, i don’t want her to experience what i went throu-gh. Yes i know Edward doesn’t even look at me, all this six years of marriage can you believe he doesn’t even touch me. whenever i try to sicuide him he only ends up with that stupid Mabel,” Erica said angrily, her eyes were already clouded up with tears.
“so is that the reason you always come to club to have someone who will satisfy you? Leon asked.
“maybe yes , maybe no. I love Edward so much and i will do everything in my power to win his love. It a good thing i didn’t allow Mabel to give him a second child,” she yelled
“second child? what did you mean?
“yes, that was four years ago when Mabel got another pregnant for him, i was so jealous, Edward doesn’t make any love to him and how could Mabel give him a second child while i don’t…
“but you have many ways to that, why not get pregnant for him from another man or drugged him like you did before,” Leon cut in while Erica laughed sadly.
“Sarah is Edward biological daughter, am not that stupid to frame anything. Edward is so sen-sitive, how can i even tell him am pregnant for him while he doesn’t even make love to me. Well that’s not it, that’s how i make Mabel have a miscarriage when she was pregnant, i make sure i did a clean job by putting some pills into her drink, glad no one suspected me,”
“okay then… let go get ourselves a room, you know how much i love you right? Leon smiled while Erica scoffed.
“this place is so boring, am going back home, Sarah hasn’t being feeling so well, i need to go,” Erica said as she grab her bag then rushed out of the club.

▪▪▪Sarah haven’t been feeling so well lately, she had dinner with her dad, Princess and Mabel, but she wasn’t able to finish her meal, she vomitted all that she ate. Mabel helped her to the bathroom and clean her up.
“how are you feeling now? Mabel asked while Sarah smile sadly.
“am fine, i just lost my appepite, i’ll be in the sitting room to wait for my mom,” She said.
“Sarah are you okay? Edward asked as he walked up to them.
“sure dad,” she replied while he nodded then left without saying. Sarah felt disappointed, she knew her dad doesn’t love her as much as he loves Princess, after all Princess was his favorite.
“Sarah, why not join me in the study room dad says he has a surprise for us and also mom gonna read bedtime stories for us, stories about the princess like fairytales,” Princess said with a wide smile exposing her dimples.
“yeah, Princess is right, come let go,” Mabel said trying to convince Sarah to go with them.
“you can go ahead i will just wait for my mom and beside dad might get mad at me,” Sarah said sadly then quickly rush to her room before Mabel could say anything.
“i notice Sarah is so quiet these days, she always look sad,” Mabel said.
“Dad doesn’t seems to get alone with her that’s why,” Princess mutter slowly while Mabel held as hand as they walked to next room, it was large, Edward was already seated playing the guitar with a chocolate box on the table.
“daddy,” Princess called as she ran to him then sat down beside him.
“Sarah seems so sad,” Mabel said as she sat down next to princess.
“maybe she had a bad day at school,” Edward shrugged, he seems not to care.
“but Edward you’re her father…
“let enjoy the moment Mabel i don’t want to talk about that, well i want to sing for you,” he said while Princess nodded smiling.
?The whole room was quiet as Edward sang so sweetly, Sarah came out from her room wondering if her mom will ever come back, she heard someone singing, so she went up to check who was that, she walked down the hallway then saw a door slightly open, she was surprise to see her dad having a good time with Princess and Mabel.
“this the kind of family i ever wish for, i wish Erica wasn’t part of our lives,” Edward said when he finished singing.
“you mean Sarah’s mom? Princess asked while Mabel gasped.
“no Princess, he was talking about someone else,” Mabel quickly said.
“you talk to much Princess, well i have a surprise for you,” Edward said while Princess giggle. He open the box while Princess smile.
“Chocolate! i love it, thank you dad,” she yelled happily. Sarah stood quietly as she watch what was happening, more tears flowed from her eyes, she couldn’t remember when last her dad got her anything, so why is he giving Princess chocolate without her, isn’t she his daughter too? she asked herself.
“and one more thing, i’ve got you a pink teddy bear too, it already in your room,” Edward said happily while and Princess giggle.
“i love you dad, i love you mom,” she smiled but her smile suddenly fade away when she remember Sarah.
“dad, Sarah also likes chocolate, i will just share this with her, she said while he nodded.
“but Edward you know Sarah also likes teddy bear, where’s her own? Mabel asked.
“i forgot to buy it, well Mabel you and Princess are my priority, i just want to make you happy,”
“but Sarah will be sad to know you buy a new teddy bear for Princess without buying her own,” Mabel said.
“Sarah have enough dolls, toys and lot more of childish things to play with..
“but Princess have a lots of that too..” Mabel cut him off.’
“okay… Mabel let not ruin this moment please,” he said while Mabel sighed.
“no need to argue dad, i will share this with Sarah afterall she’s my sister,” Princess said happily.
Sarah quickly ran to the sitting room in tears..
“Sarah! Princess called as she walked to the sitting room and met Sarah crying out her eyes their.
“Sarah hasn’t your mom come back yet?
“no.. ”
“you want some chocolate maybe it will stop you from crying and why are you even crying? Princess asked.
“am fine, and thank you for the chocolate i don’t need it,” Sarah said slowly wiping her tears.
“i know you like chocolates, please don’t reject it and you look like that old piggy bear of ours when crying,” Princess pouts, she knew by saying that it will make Sarah to smile.
“but if you’ll smile, you’ll look so pretty,” Princess said tickling Sarah while she burst out laughing.
“eat as much chocolate you want,” Princess said while Sarah smile back.
“thank you Princess,” Sarah replied with a smile as she collect the chocolate from her.
Immediately Erica walked in angry, she got so anrgy when she saw Princess.
“you daughter of a bitc-h, has your mother sent you to poison my daughter,” Erica yelled as she qucikly collect the chocolate from Sarah then threw it carelessly.
“if you ever come close to my daughter i wll hurt you so bad,” Erica yelled at her then push her so ha-rd to the floor.
“what’s oing on here,” Mabel as shewalked up to him with Edward behind her.
“Princess,” Mabel quickly rushed and helped her stood up.
“are you okay.. and what’s going on here?
“what the meaning of this Erica, don’t you ever try to touch Princess again,” Edward warned.
“enough of that Edward.. i won’t allow your special wife Mabel to use her daughter to kill mine- never.” she yelled.
“look Erica whatever it is, you have to go throu-ghme first before hurting my dughter, and they next time you try to hurt Princess just know that you’ll see another version of me,” Mabel warn with all seriousity.
“Mabel just take Princess to her room, i will hanlde Erica,” Edward said while Mabel quickly left with Princess.
“Sarah can you please go to your room, i and your mom will talk things out… okay,” Edward said while Sarah nodded then walked away.
Sarah quietly stood in the door as she peep at her dad and mom, she wasn’t happy with the situation at hand.
“Erica i told you this before.. i will never love you so even thou you continue to stay in this house for ten years, twenty years or even forever i will never love you. Mabel is still the queen of my heart and Princess is my daughter, my favorite girl, i love her so much, more than your daughter, you want to know why? because Princess is from the woman i love,” Edward barked angrily, Erica raise her hand to slap him but he quickly held it back.
“don’t dare you slap me. The door is wide open for you, you can leave if you don’t want to stay, i don’t freaky care,” Edward cursed.
“it okay Edward.. am not asking you to love me but please you should learn to love Sarah because the little girl is already feeling as if you don’t love her. I don’t want my daughter to a grow up without her complete family, i want Sarah to be part of your life, to be part of our lives, please let not hurt Sarah with our past problems or anything,” Erica said in tears while Edward scoffed.
“Sarah is just a result of the stupid thing you did back them by luring me into bed with you.. i like Sarah because she’s my daughter but Princess is the eldest, she’s the heir to my everything and she’s the only one i love and see as a daughter so get that into your stinking skull,” Edward yelled then walked out of Erica because if he keeps talking he might only end up saying more hurtfuls words.
Sarah was already in tears hearing all those from her dad.
“Princess is his favorite girl and the only daughter he knows,” she thought that as more tears roll down her cheeks. Erica wipe her tears and rush to Sarah room but meet her standing close to her door.
“dad doesn’t love us mom, he doesn’t love me neither does he love you, i want to visit grandma, am tired of staying here, i guess grnadma and grandpa will ease that pain in me,” Sarah cried while Erica hug her.
“your dad is just angry but the truth is that he really loves you so much okay,” Erica said while Sarah nodded in tears.

“Edward you need to apologies to Erica, that was hurtful, i heard all what you said to her,” Mabel said when Edward walked into their bedroom.’
“no Mabel. Erica deserves more than this,”
“but Sarah is innocent, the little girl knows nothing about all this. Edward you’ve so much changed, like your not the one i married, if you can’t love Sarah then i think your love for me and Princess isn’t genuine,” Mabel said.
“okay then.. think whatever you want to think,” Edward replied back so angry.
Erica has successfully put Sarah to sleep, she kept caressing her hair as she watch her sleep peacefully.
“a time would come when Edward will be begg for my love and also for you love Sarah. Mom will set things right. I have my own way to make things work out for good. I won’t just sit and watch Edward treat you anyhow because you’re his own flesh and blood,” Erica said sadly with so much hatred filed in her heart.
A week Later…?

Sarah smile when she walked up to her dad Edward who was seated at the sitting room.
“daddy,” Sarah called cheerful then sat down next to him.
“what’s up Sarah,” He said.
“i just want to remind you of something,” she said smiling.
“next week is my birthday, i will be 7,” she said.
“wow… happy birthday Sarah,” Princess said so excited as she walked in.
“thank you but it not my birthday today, it next week friday,” Sarah said.
“so dad, i want you to throw a grand birthday party just they way you’ve always do to Princess, her birthday celebration has always been better than mine, it always the best,” Sarah pouted while Edward raise his head to look at her.
“yes and that’s because Princess is way better than you. Sarah i guess am not in a better position to throw you a grand birthday party, you should tell your mother that and mind you this year no birthday celebration for you because your performance at school are thorou-ghly bad, i guess you should this time to allow Princess to help you out with your studies,” Edward said then stood up and walked out.
“maybe dad is not in a good mood today,” Princess said trying to cheer Sarah up.
“yes, he’s not always in a good mood when it comes talking to me, after all you are his favorite daughter,” Sarah said sadly.
“i just want you know daddy loves you so much and who knows if you’re his secret favorite daughter,” Princess said with a smile.
“no… i don’t think so,” Sarah said sadly as she walked out in tears…?
