Watching that dude hug Diana really made me feel strange within, as if I should go strangle him already.
No sooner, Diana walked into the building which got me thinking about why she was going there.
I headed into the building and for the cla-ss where my practical would hold, cla-ss 11A.
I walked in to meet Diana already seated and she looked up to see me and pulled on a stunned expression.
“Y.. you are here?” She suddenly asked and I arched a brow heading to where she sat.
” Yes.. I offer physics and I have a practical today” I replied.
” Whoa! Buh.. you are a private student so why are you here?” Diana quried and I groa-ned.
” Mixed. Nevermind tho” I sighed and grabbed a seat on a stool behind her.

This is so not good.
If our practical schedule fall on the exact same day and time again, then it would be ha-rd to avoid Ryan.
Besides, seeing him makes me feel confused about my feelings towards Dave.
Students began to troop in soon enough.

After a really interesting physics practical cla-ss, I gathered my things after putting down some few points.
I got off the stool not wanting to turn back and behold Ryan so I just headed for the exit.
I have cheer practice in the next few minutes and it is so exhausting right now.
Thinking about physics practical cla-ss, Ryan is a private student so why did he get mixed up with us?
Although, he wasn’t the only private student around.

I had a pretty long walk to the main basketball court where cheer practice would hold and quickly got changed into a fitting black leggings and hugging black top which was short sleeved.
As I packed my hair into a ponytail, Corriene walked into the change room.

“Thanks..” I appreciated Ryan who handed me a wrapped sausage and coke.
We both sat on one of the chairs at the basketball court.
“The game is tomorrow..” Ryan said and she ate from his burger.
” Yeah.. “I sighed.
On my way out of the building, I bumped into the into Ryan who asked if we could hang out and due to how bored I felt, I agreed and here we are.
“I really do love watching you practice your cheer dance” Ryan spoke up after a short silence and I glanced at him to see he has already been staring at me.
I averted my gaze feeling warm already without knowing what to say.
“Did I say something wrong?” Ryan asked and I shook my head negatively.
” You didn’t”I said and he smiled dropping his burger before reaching out to tuck my loose hair behind my ear.
“Much better” He muttered locking gazes with me as it felt as if I was swimming in his wonderful ash-brown eyes.

“Come have a look Corriene” Lesley said in a low tone and I looked in throu-ghthe closed entrance french door gla-ss to see my Ryan talking happily with that girl!
He even tou-ched her! ?
I made my fist very ha-rd and fumed angrily having only little self-control and stormed off before I end up destroying that bi-tch face.

Lesley and I had a silent hi-five with knowing smrinks on our faces.
The newbie would get it hot!
We nodded at each other pulling on apologetic faces and rushed after Corriene.

No doubt, hanging out with Ryan is really magical.
He really made my day no doubt.
After recess, I and Dave met immediately after my driver’s cla-ss and headed for music.
My day was greatly spent no doubt.
I had cheer practice in an hour after lessons so I made use of my time to get some rest before heading for practice.
By the time I arrived, Corriene was already present and I gave her a faint smile as she looked my way but the look on her face and glaring eyes made my smile vanish.
“You are fu-cking late Diana!” She snapped and I scoffed glancing at my watch.
” Practice would begin in few minutes so I am still early” I defended and Corriene scoffed slowly approaching me.
” Really? “She drawled and I felt so surprised.
She had a cold aura around her which was so weird and different.
“You being new around doesn’t mean you are special and let me warn you… You are making a mistake” She seethed letting only me hear the last part of her sentence before leaving.
I stood totally stunned searching my memory over what I could have obviously done wrong but found none.
Few girls came in after me and Corriene didn’t attack them like she did to me which meant she has a resenting feeling towards me now, but why?

During practice, Corriene found fault in all my moves which got me super angry within.
I never liked her for once but today, she made me begin to grow detest towards her.

“Her strange attitude is really weird like you said Diana”. Delia said.
” Do you still hang out with Ryan?” Denise asked and I sighed.
“Not really. He only asked me to be his friend yesterday and then today, he offered to hang out with me”I replied.
” Did Corriene see you two? “She further asked.
“No. We always stay at the basketball court alone.” I replied.
“Diana.. stop seeing Ryan. Don’t even befriend him. Aren’t you wise to notice that he has alot of drooling admirers but no female friend except Corriene? “Delia groa-ned.
” You know what girls.. am done. Corriene is not married to Ryan neither are they dating. Dude has rights to have a female friend”I retorted and they sighed shaking their heads.
” What? “I asked arching a brow.
“Diana.. Corriene is not someone you would want to mess with. She could get you expelled” Delia warned and I scoffed.
” Oh really? Psst.. that’s mad”I said.
” She made a student get expelled last year.. our old roomie” Denise suddenly said and I gasped.
” Rose our old roomie was a newbie and got in with a scholarship. She came across Ryan and befriended him. Next thing, it got to Corriene’s knowledge who made her time here in Poshville High a living h*LL before expelling her with her power as the daughter of the Governor advisor. Am telling you Diana.. you really wouldn’t wish to be in her bad book” Denise concluded leaving me gobsmacked.

Today.. I got my cheerleading uniform of glittery materials and two red pom-poms to hold.

My shirt had the inscription that stated ‘ R. A. S’ meaning Royal All Stars.
The game would start by 7pm which is three hours from now.
My very first performance here.
I spent most of my time thinking about what the girls told me last night.
How is she related to the principal that she could get someone expelled?..
That fact actually scared me.
My family aren’t so rich and popular so it must have taken my Father so much to get me admitted here and I seriously don’t want to let him down but on the other hand, I find Corriene super annoying.
Ryan deserves to have female friend aside her.. ?

Loud cheers followed from the students who had already gathered to watch.
Meanwhile, at the changing area, Diana and her crew got ready to go out and make a display while the team of Ryan known as the ‘Elite’ got ready for their game against the other team known as the ‘Supersonics’.
?️.. and now, let’s make welcome.. the R.A.S!… ?️.
The cheerleaders all rolled out in a cartwheel style and began some amazing moves before the game which awed the crowd.
Ryan from where he sat admired how great Diana moved her body.
Time went on and the game began.
Diana and her fellow cheer girls did cheer stunts at every awesome move made by the Elite while the Supersonics had a ma-sscot.
No sooner, Ryan knocked the ball into the basket and the cheerleaders did a cartwheel and teddy sit moves together with the crowd screaming in excitement and the game continued.
They played on and on as the Elite emerged as winners beating the opposing team 99-40 and had only one goal to make it a hundred.
Ryan team mate’s and fans cheered him on as he searched throu-ghthe R.A.S and found Diana giving her a big smile which she returned before joining her team to display around waving their pom-poms.
Lesley and Paige noticed it and glanced at Corriene who must have seen it as she had a look of pure hate and anger which made them happy.

As I and the cheerleaders talked about the game happily, I noticed some of them squeal and I turned to see Ryan standing behind me giving me a shocker.
“Hi Ryan..” They giggled and suddenly left.

“Congrats” I said hoping to end this meeting soon before Corriene sees us together and gets the wrong idea.
“Thanks” He smiled out dimples making me smile.
” You played great back there” I complimented and he chuckled.
” Born talent. More seasons are yet to come tho” Ryan replied.
“Interesting..” I muttered.
“Yeah..”

” Thanks for the compliment girls but I really need to congratulate my Ryan”I said with a grin.
” Um.. I think she must have beat you to it” Paige suddenly replied and I turned to see Ryan and Diana talking and smiling freely.
Anger swelled throu-ghme as it felt as if I would explode and I stormed off.
“Corriene!” The girls called after me as I headed for the exit.

“Com’on.. it’s late. Let me walk you to your dorm” Ryan offered after the court became almost empty.
“No need Ryan. I will be fine” I a-ssured.
“I insist Diana” He pressed and I sighed.
“Fine”.
“So.. how long have you been playing basketball?” I asked as we made an exit.
“Since I was a kid, twelve years to be exact” He replied.
“Wow! Well, before you ask, I started cheerleading on my own according to my Mum from age three”I notified.
” Interesting.. “Ryan said and took a bend away from the normal path to the dorm.
We began to pa-ss between buildings away from students.
“Why aren’t we following that way?” I asked.
“I prefer a much quicker walk Diana” Ryan replied.
“Okay” I said and ru-bbed my palm on each of my arm due to the cold as he glanced at me.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
“Yeah.. I am” I replied arranging my bag and ru-bbed my cold arms again and he stopped walking and faced me.
“What?” I asked and he dropped his small duffel bag he had been carrying placing it on the ground and began to unzi-p his wooly jacket before taking it off.
Staring into my eyes, he took my pom-poms from my hold and placed them on his bag before lifting my right arm.
“What are you doing?” I whispered.
“You are cold and I am going to wear you my jacket”Ryan offered and I tried to speak.
” Shh.. I insist cherry” Ryan said with a grin and wore me the sweater making his awesome scent swirl alover me.
His gaze lingered on mine long enough to make me weak and his gaze slowly fell on my quivering li-ps and back to my eyes.
He took a step closer and I backed away.
He stepped forward again and I backed away with my back colliding on something and I had no more space.
Ryan took a step further as my heart began to race.
“R.. Ryan..” I called in a low tone.
“Shh..” He hushed lowly sending shivers down my spine and the gap between our li-ps began to close till I felt his cold li-ps resting on mine and my eyes shone in great surprise.

Her li-ps were so cold as they met with mine.
Even as cold as they felt, it still had a soft texture and I found myself wanting to do a lot more than to touch li-ps with hers.
I encircled my left arm around her tender wai-st digging my fingers into her hot na-ked flesh and my li-ps began to move on hers while she stayed like it was her first and then tried kis-sing back to a seemingly furtile attempt.

I was drowning and I knew it. Ryan didn’t stop kis-sing me till I had almost lost my breath.
He kis-sed me like a complete pro ru-b-bing his palms throu-ghmy na-ked stomach and my back igniting so many feelings in me.
I felt drugged and weak in the knees and I fell into Ryan’s body frame with the k*as breaking as I hug-ged him really ti-ght and he held unto me tenderly stro-king my back.
“You are okay?” I heard him ask in a whisper as my breaths came out heavy and I nodded.
“Yeah.. I am. I just need to um… catch… some air” I stuttered and I felt him chuckle softly.
” I bet I just took your breath away much better than those guys whom you have k*ssed “Ryan whispered and I scoffed.
” I haven’t k*ssed any guy before, you are my first” I said feeling all flushed and I felt him stiffen.
” You are kidding right?” Ryan asked and I sighed.
” I am not”I replied and slowly pulled away tucking my loose hair behind my ear as Ryan stared at my face.
“We should get going” I suggested and gasped as Ryan suddenly claimed my li-ps rou-ghly almost making me breathless before he broke the k*ss.
“I might have to borrow your li-ps for a while” Ryan said with a spark beaming in his eyes which I noticed had turned pure brown already from its original ash-brown colour.
I let out a gasp as he lifted me off the ground making my legs wrap around his wai-st and he k*ssed me so ha-rd that I felt dumb for a moment before returning the k*ss with my arms wrapped around his ne-ck.

I struggled to breath during the k*ss which proved really ha-rd as Ryan kept making my breath hitch as his fingers danced on my na-ked skin.
It felt as if hours has pa-ssed and I cu-p-ped Ryan’s face pulling away from the k*as catching my breath.
“We need to stop Ryan. Please ” I sighed and he smiled letting me down on my feet.
He carried his bag and I took my pom-poms as we continued our walk to the dorm area.
I felt all fuzzy inside and didn’t want to end the moment but I had to.
As we approached the dorm area, Ryan broke the silence between us.
“Thanks alot Diana” He appreciated and I glanced at him.
“Thanks for tonight” He added and I smiled.
“See you tomorrow. Have a great night” He wished.
“And you too” I replied.
” Go on in. I will wait till you get into your dorm building” Ryan offered and I smiled waving at him before heading into the area completely while he waited.
Upon arriving my room, I met the girls already asleep.
I quickly changed to my PJ and laid down but not to sleep.
The memories of Ryan k*ssing me lingered in mind making it so ha-rd to catch some sleep.

It’s been almost a week since that event.
I and Ryan hardly cross paths thereby making it ha-rd to return his jacket.
Corriene’s attitude towards me is really disturbing and my roomies urged me to stay clear from Ryan to avoid Corriene wrath.
The bell for short recess came on and I packed up my books heading to get my books for my next cla-ss when I came across Abigail.
We spent recess talking about random things till we got our books from our lockers.
I noticed students glance at the entrance and I followed their gazes to see Ryan and Corriene walking in with crossed arms as they smiled happily.
?I think Ryan likes her ? A student said.
?Of course it should be. After all, they are best friends and might end up marrying themselves ? Another supported and I gulped heavily watching Ryan and Corriene get into the elevator.
“Diana.. are you ok?” I heard Abigail ask and I nodded walking away from the locker area to the elevator.

Thinking about him made me begin to feel so warm within me.
“Diana…” I heard his voice and turned.
Dave had a bright smile on him and his right hand behind his back.
He pulled me into a short hug and broke it before revealing a single red rose to my view and I gasped.
“For my heartcode” He said and I smiled.. no.. I blus-hed badly and took the rose from him and inhaled the sweet scent.

It was so sweet ??
“Diana..” He called
“Mmh??” I muttered and looked up to see him staring at me.
He took a step closer and held my hand staring right into my eyes.
“Diana… I have grown to love you very much. Every moment with you is magical, I love you and I need you. Will you be my girlfriend? “Dave proposed and I gasped awestruck.
I bit my lower li-p shyly.
“I really like you very much Dave but am not certain it is up to that extent of dating you. I need time to think”I finally replied and he smiled.
” I will gladly wait”He said and hug-ged me tenderly as I shut my eyelids taking in the moment as it lasted.
