“It took one tug to your che-st and she fell for you” Jason said
“Yeah she’s been avoiding me like crazy in school the past few days” I said
“I did tell you she likes you” he said giving me the I told you so look
“ Yeah ” I replied
“ girls are so vulnerable around you ” Andrew said
“Are you going to like leave her alone” Jason said
“ I still have one more thing to do” I replied sm-irking
“But remember the bet is next week” Andrew said
“ I’m wondering what girl will it be this time” I said
“I have no idea we still have five days before then I’ll think” Jason said

Courtney POV
“Courtney” I heard my name being called as I pa-ssed throu-ghthe hallway before cla-ss
I turned and it was Michael like Michael Thompson what was he doing here
“ Hi ” I said and Asha rolled in
“You know her” she said to him
“She’s the one I told you about” he said
Then she walked closer to me and said “Stay away from my brother”
“Wait brother and I wasn’t trying to stay with him no offense Michael”
“None taken I don’t think in welcomed in this conversation so I’ll go for my registration” he said and went away
“Yes he’s my twin brother”she said and I gave her the I don’t un-derstand look and she un-derstood
“We’re fraternal twins obviously” she said
“But the names”
“Michelle Asha Thompson and Michael Asher Thompson now you get it I chose Asha because of the A BBYs”
“But you should un-derstand that it’s not my fault”
“My brother was in his room for a whole day and I blame you for taking the job in the first place”

“Mom I told her I was having a A BBYs sleepover for the weekend she went so delusional to call it quitting”

I sat down in cla-ss and the teacher came in then Clary pa-ssed a note to me I opened it read MEET ME AT THE ORCha-rd AFTER SCHOOL OWEN I looked up and my eyes met his and my cheeks turned red I looked away and Clary pa-ssed me a note saying SHE WHO SAYS SHE DOESN’T LIKE OWEN CROSSLEY I looked at her with a death glare and rolled my eyes

“Should I go”I said closing my locker
“I don’t know you can go after all you clearly like him ”
“I don’t ”I said blus-hing
“Oh and why are your cheeks red”
“I have no idea ok I like him a little teeny tiny bit whatever”
“Finally you admitted you did ”
“He’s a Playboy and I can’t possibly date him I’ll just probably end up in the list of girls he’s dated and I don’t want that”

“You know you’re really bad at giving advice”
“I Know” she said giving me a smile
I rolled my eyes and said “it’s settled in not going”
“Why” she said

Courtney POV
“Courtney ”I heard someone call my name
I turned it was Michael I rolled my eyes and said

“ What do you mean by that”
“Your sister clearly said I should stay away from you so I am”
“ Since when are you afraid of my sister”
“And since when do you know me so well and who said I’m afraid of your sister I am just trying to at least focus on something other than drama right now I don’t have time for it”
“Courtney my offer still stands”
“And I’m sorry but my answer still stands we’re better off as friends” I said and walked away
They should all just leave me alone
I came across Owen in the hallway and he blocked my way I took a de-eper breath and said
“What again Owen”
“You stood me up yesterday”
“oh about that I was busy after and I need to get to cla-ss so please leave my way”
“Courtney Harper is it ”he said and came really close to me
“No one ever stands me up and I’m going to show you Courtney” he said and smi-rked he drew my face close to his and just then the bell chimed and I brushed pa-ssed him to cla-ss with my heart beating like crazy
What his wrong with him most importantly what is wrong with me
School Closing Break
The break before the programs start
Me and Clary sat on our table I think everyone keeping their distance from us or let me say me
“I didn’t see you all morning” I said to Clary
“I was practicing I have to earn my sp-ot not just be a replacement for someone”

I let my hair down ruffling my hair like crazy people were videoing but I didn’t care

“Really did you try considering that it wasn’t only me in detention that day”

Owen POV
I stood dumbfounded did she is
“She literally slapped you” Andrew said chuckling a bit
It’s not funny Andrew” Jason said
Sorry sorry” he said
I stormed out of the cafeteria to find her she is so dead how dare she slap me i set out to find
Courtney POV
I was so mad Clary rushed after me and calmed me down we went over to the former dance studio before the new one was opened and we sat down
“I can’t believe Owen of all people would do something like that but maybe I can though” she said
“I don’t care about what he can do or what he can’t all I know is if he messes with me and my phobia I’m killing him ” I replied
“I can’t say why but I don’t think I’ll report you to the authorities because of that”she said
“its not a joke Clary in middle school I literally fainted because of a bug ” I said
“If it makes you feel any better I’m claustrophobic”she replied smiling
“It doesn’t” I said and we laughed
“How bout we steal some practice before you know actual practice”
“You’ve been practicing all morning Clary” I told her
“You have to rest Clar” I added
“Resting won’t get me the top sp-ot unlike you I have only one program if you fail dance which I Know you won’t you have singing and acting to fill in the gap”
“You’re already a good dancer and… Just as I wanted to finish my sentence someone opened the studio door furiously it was Owen I rolled my eyes and he walked up to me furiously if I hadn’t calmed down God knows what would have happened he came over to me giving me a death glare from his icy blue eyes and he turned to Jason and said furiously
“Get out all of you”
“Well suit yourself I’m out ”I said to him as me and Clary walked out
“Everyone except you Courtney” he said pulling me back by my hair
“What do you think you’re doing keeping me in here” I said released my hair from his grip and walked away
And where do you think you’re going when I’m not done talking he said and tugged me back again by my hair and I screamed and pushed him away and he only staggered back
“That hurts” I shouted at him
“Well that’s what I want ”he said with a sm-irk on his face
“Of course I can’t raise my Hand on a woman so I guess that will have to do try walking away again and it’ll be worse ”
“Try that again and I’ll kill you” I said and walked out but he tugged me back this Time by my jacket which I pulled off and it fell onto the floor I was left with my inner and my skirt I kicked him ha-rd on his leg and it didn’t even shake him
I ran to the door but he went before me and locked it
“ you won’t come out until I say you will”
“Owen get away from the door ” I
“Make me” he said
“ok” I said and dragged him from the door and he held me ha-rd and we both fell to the floor
We looked at each other and I quickly got up
Wait you thought they would look at each other’s eyes and Then kis-s no uh that ain’t happening on my watch
I ran to the door and unlocked it but before I could get out he dragged me back and went out then he locked the door behind me and bolted it from the outside he gave me a evil grin and said
“Don’t bother to scream the new studio is miles away no one will hear you and I’ll make sure no one I mean no one finds you ”he said and gave me a sm-irk and walked away
“Owen Owen come back here ”I shouted
He said after me “I don’t think you in the place to make Commands”
“Please Owen let me out ”
“Much better but I still won’t open, enjoy your stay and get ready for part two on Monday you actually made my plan much easier for me”
“Clary Clary anyone please open” I banged the door and slowly fell to the ground
I looked around and tried to open the windows and when I opened them I looked down I was really high above ground I couldn’t go down I tried screaming throu-ghthe windows but no one came
My phone wasn’t with me it was in my locker I always left it there before practice It was getting dark I don’t think anyone one was in the school by that time I was cold I looked at my shirt it was partly torn from the pull Owen gave me I searched for my jacket which I put on Immediately but it didn’t help and to make matters much worse rain started I was so cold I found my way to the back of the studio where the changing room was before it was moved there were no warm clothing to wear infact there were no clothing at all I pulled off the curtains and wrap them around my self it wasn’t comfortable but at least I was warm Owen Crossley just declared war who knows what I’ll see I here a spiders co-ckroaches just the thought of it gave me goosebumps all over I hate Owen
I couldn’t sleep because I kept thinking of the dangers that can lur-k in this place just for you to know if I die I will haunt Owen I finally drifted to sleep but I woke up in the middle of the night when I heard footsteps approaching I ran to the door and banged really ha-rd and even shouted but no one answered I guess I was hearing things I sat on the door and cried I was cold and scared tomorrow was a holiday no one will come to school and I doubt the janitor will clean this part of the school it’s almost practically abandoned now I couldn’t sleep throu-ghout the night and I closed my eyes for a bit when I opened them I found out it was morning I was starving at Least the rain had stopped I looked at the mirror and my reflection was horrifying I looked like someone who’d been in a psychiatric hospital and I had dark eye circles un-der my eyes I sat down at the mirror and I was prepared for whatever will happen I paced around the room and finally fell asleep I woke I think in the afternoon I’d been in the school for a whole day now mom will be worried sick I would have like a hundred misses calls on my phone then I heard footsteps approaching it sounded like heels and also sneakers squeaking as they tou-ched the floor It couldn’t be one person it was two or three then I heard a voice I thought I would never hear mom and Clary’s voice even Amy’s
“Courtney Courtney” my mom called out
Then I heard Clary’s voice “I left her and Owen in the old dance studio”
”Owen and Courtney in the same room” Amy said
“Yes he insisted we all left ” Clary said
“Can you guys cut the chit chat I’m looking for my daughter here”my mom said
I was to weak to stand up I hadn’t eaten for a day I was cold and my legs hurt even my throat I screamed all night
I gave out a muffled scream and everything went blank the last thing I saw was my mom rushing into the room and screaming my name my head hurt and my whole vision blurry then it went completely blank
