“Ladies and gentlemen if you could remember few months ago I left an information that the New CEO would soon be here, so ladies and gentlemen am proud to introduce to you the new CEO in the person of Miss Annabelle Richa-rd please make her feel welcome” Max introduced Ann to all the employees. working at Lawson and co.
Ann walked to the podium.
“Good afternoon everyone am Annabelle Richa-rd the new CEO please cooperate with me” she greeted with her eyes sweeping across the room.
“Mr Nelson please help Ms Richa-rd settle down and Ms Banky you are her personal a-ssistant and please let all endeavor to work together with her” Max said.
Ann walked back to where she was sitting and the meeting commence with them filling her with what has been going on in the company after some hours the meeting was dismissed.
“Ms Richa-rd can I show you to your office?” Nelson asked.
“Sure” Ann smiled
“Max Max” Nelson hailed
“My man how are you doing?” Max asked as they stroll out of the conference room
“Am fine guy, Miss you look familiar” Nelson asked looking keenly at Ann
“Did i?” She asked
“Yeah now I remember” Nelson replied with glint in his eyes “the drunk lady shaking her a-ss”
“Oh” she replied embarra-ssed “Max didn’t inform me that I made a fool out of my self that day”
“Nope why would I tell you when you look so cute while dancing” Max replied
Ann blus-hed
“Please where’s the office Mr………”
“Nelson” he replied
“There is your office” Nelson replied pointing to a door “I and Max will be in my office do call me if you need anything” he says and pull Max along with him and Ann disappeared into her new office
“Max what are you doing?” Nelson asked immediately they entered his office
“What do you mean what am I doing?” Max asked
“Who’s she? Is that Marie?” Nelson asked
“She’s not Marietta she’s my PA” he replied
“Your PA how does she fit in the picture”
“I like her”
“So?” Nelson asked
“Oh” Max smacked his head
“Max!!” He yelled “what’s that for”
“I like her and I can’t let her walk away from my life” Max explained
“Huh Max are you in love” Nelson asked
“Nah love is a strong word, I just want her close to me but she’s pushing me away” Max said sadly
“Doesn’t she feels the same” Nelson asked
“She did” he replied
” so what happened?” Nelson asked
Then Max went on explaining what Ann said he should do “Well bro it’s not that ha-rd is it?” Nelson asked
“It is don’t you remember you are my partner in crime”
“I know i am but it love we are talking about here, love is about commitment and sacrifice” Nelson advised
“Hmm” Max hung his head in his hands
You have to think what you want throu-ghbefore she sli-p out of your hands” Nelson advised again
“Wow” Max exclaimed “this is the first time you actually say something reasonable in your life”
“You are foolish” Nelson laughed “Thanks” max replied ‘ let me check on her” “Heee” Nelson smiled
“Hello princess how are you” Max greeted walking calculatively into Ann’s office.
“Mr Anderson what are you doing here I thought you left?” She asked
“Ann come on what happened to Mr Max huh” he frowned
“Nothing happened Mr Anderson and this is my office now” she replied not raising her head from the laptop she’s typing from
“Huh ok dinner tonight, you in?” He asked
“Nope” she snapped
“Please Ann please” he begged
“No Max” she shook her head
“Why?” Max sighed
“Am not going back on my words Mister, until you stop Casanoving around and put a tag on what we are doing am not going anywhere with you” Ann replied firmly
“Huh” Max gro-aned “you are making this difficult for me and am not Casanoving around is that even a word?”
“I don’t know” she shrugged
“Ann please I promise to change please” he begged
“Max” she smiled. “you know you’re promising to change doesn’t change anything until I see the proof I won’t follow you anywhere”
“Huh” Max replied pathetically “I guess I have to take my leave now”
“Bye” she replied.

“Celia we can’t continue doing this, please let stop this” Max begged Celia when she she paid him an unexpected visit at his office
“Max let do this and we will be done in a jiffy” she replied seductively whilst going for his trousers
“Stop” he snapped “Celia am serious about it, don’t you have any other thing to think of than s-ex, aren’t you tired of this life you are living!” he swat her hands off his trousers
“Oh Max” Celia sobbed “you dare call me a prostitute, I know i am but hearing it from you hurts”
“Am sorry” he replied honestly
“Max” Celia called searchingly “don’t you know I love you”
“Wait……what? Celia you can’t love me, we’re just having fun and I told you I don’tfall in love” he stated
“Max what happened? You weren’t like this before, you can’t resist me, what happened?” Celia said pathetically
“Nothing happened Celia” he replied racking his hand throu-ghhis head “am not getting younger any more”
“Don’t give me that crap Max, who is she?” She snapped
“Who is who?” He asked blankly
“The person you are replacing me with” she replied bluntly
“Oh ok am not replacing you with anyone I found love” he smiled brightly
“You found love?” Celia asked with mouth agape
“Yes I found love” he smiled and walk towards the window
“When did you start loving? She asked folding her hands un-derneath her bre-ast
“I found love when an angel bumped into me on my way to my office few months back” Max replied with his eyes glistening with love
“Does that bitc-h fuc-k the way I do? Does she treat you the way I did?” She asked scornfully
“What” he frowned ” don’t you dare call her a bitc-h ok, I don’t love doesn’t mean I will find love with you okay” he snapped
“Am sorry okay” she says
“Max”she called sadly “so this is the end of us”
“There’s no us before but if you say so I guess it’s the end”
“Can I hug you?” She asked spreading her hands wide
“Sure” he moved towards her and engulfed her in a hug
“I love you Max” she whispered
“Oh” Max exclaimed disengaging from the hug, he picked up his phone from the table during the process his hand tapped the screen of the phone there by showing a picture of Ann he used as wallpaper
“Is she the one?” She asked looking at the picture
“Who? Oh yeah” he smiled looking fondly at the picture
“She’s beautiful”
“Oh thank you”
“I guess it’s a good bye then” she sad sadly
“Bye Celia thanks for your time” He Walks her to the door
“Yeah” he giggled “one out”
“Celia stop crying” Abigail tried to pacify the crying Celia
“Abigail you no fit un-derstand, I love this guy” she cried
“You love am , abeg when did prostitute starts loving” Abigail asked clic-king her li-ps
“Abigail is it a crime to to love, I love him, i was hoping he will love me too” she cried
“So what happened?” Abigeal asked
“He said he loves another”she replied
“So is that why you are crying instead of you to fight for your man” Abigail advised
“How?” She asked with keen interest
“You will scare the babe away from him” Abigail announced
“Ok but how I don’t know the girl and I don’t know her name” she shrugged
“Celia you are too dumb, you go stalk him,then boom you will see the babe will him” Abigail grinned
“Oh it’s true” Celia smiled

Since then Celia took it as a point of duty to always stalk Max.
Max on his own part took it as a point of duty to always visit Ann at the office and Ann did not hesitate to send him out.
Ann is bent on having only him to herself but his girlfriends and flings had to go.
Things weren’t Rosy for Ann in the office either as the female workers are bent on making her life miserable in the office.
They gossip almost on everything about her.
To some she’s just an opportunist who had a relationship with Max just to get to the CEO office but it no news as Max definitely had history with most of them
One of them is Miss Oluwashindara, Shinda for Short. She was really a pain in the bu-tt always finding every opportunity to spite Ann
She had a fling with Max and it was one night thing since then she started acting all bossy so Ann coming as the CEO was really a threat to her.
She started by sharing malicious gossip about Ann then she graduated into physical bantering
When Max got a wind of it he ordered that Shinda should be fired immediately which kept the other female workers at their place expect for the gossips of course
Ann warned Max not to come anywhere close to her again
It was one of those days of her sending Max off the office that Celia saw them together.
No amount of begging could make Ann change her mind so this made Max to keep his distance

Ann decided to stop by the mall after coming back from the office Courtsey of Bella who wouldn’t stop sending her to buy junks for her.
She bought what she needed before entering her car then she zoom off.
Meanwhile Celia and Abigail were also at the Mall when Celia sights Ann.
“Abigail she’s the one” Celia informed pointing at Ann.
“Are you sure?” Abigail asked to be sure.
“Yeah let’s go and meet her” she said.
“Why?” Abigail asked.
“To warn her to stay clear of Max” she shrugged.
“No” Abigail snapped.
“Why?” Celia asked looking keenly at her.
“You can’t do that here, it not ideal” Abigail advised.
“I don’t care if it’s ideal or not ok am going to confront her” she snapped.
“Well it your choice” Abigail shug-ged picking what she wants.
“Abigail why are you like this, you are the one that advise me so what is wrong” she asked.
“Celia this babe am seeing does not look like someone to be messed with so count me out of your humiliation mission” .
“What ever no one take Max from me”: she replied walking towards Ann but before she could get to where Ann is, Ann had move out of the Mall.
Celia decided to follow her she had made up her mind to deal with the babe that stole Max from her and Ann is her victim.
Ann noticed a flashy red car following her so she decided to slow down a bit so she could inform her mum about it but before she could do anything the car over took her car and blocked the way.
Ann had no other choice than to stop the car
She was surprised when she saw a flamboyantly dressed lady walking angrily towards her.
The so called lady knocked softly on her window, she instructed Ann to come down from her car which she did calmly.
“So?” Ann asked irritated at the whole thing.
“Am warning you to stay away from my boyfriend you bitc-h” Celia yelled
“Boyfriend?” Ann scoffed “I don’t know your boyfriend”.
“You want me to slap you before you can remember huh, you bitc-h what did you do to him that made him Break up with me” she accused.
“Wait Miss I don’t know what you are saying, you are just accusing me wrongly” Ann said innocently.
“Shut it you bitc-h, don’t act naive ok, you stole Max from me” she yelled.
“Oh this is about Max” Ann hissed “but he didn’t tell me he had a girlfriend”.
“Am his girlfriend idiot before you come into the picture with your two goody shoes” Celia snapped.
“Are you his girlfriend or one of his flings cause I clearly told Max to get rid of his flings not girlfriend” Ann rolled her eyes.
“What! what does that suppose to mean” Celia asked foolishly.
“It means Max doesn’t consider you his girlfriend” oh Ann’s eyes lit up in recognition “you are the slut that comes shamefully into the office everyday to have s-ex with Max,so now he says he’s not interested anymore, you decided to attack me isn’t it stupid”Ann said calmly.
By this time a handful of people had gathered around them
All a suddenly Celia landed a slap on Ann cheeks.
“Who the hell do you think you are huh? Max saying he loves you doesn’t mean anything he’s going to leave you at the end, you bitc-h” Celia yelled.
“Hey listen to me” Ann glared walking closer to her. They are just few pace apart “don’t you dare lay your filthy hands on me, okay I will let that slide ok, whatever Max decided to with you is non of my business,why not channel this anger and all into your life and stop running after a man that doesn’t love you, love who will ever love a prostitute” Ann said harshly.
“Don’t you dare call me a prostitute, you are no different from me” Celia said.
“I am different from you bitc-h, I don’t know what slum Max took you from that gave you the effrontery to talk to me anyhow, take a look at me bitc-h we are not in the same league, you wearing cheap clothes and driving fancy car doesn’t give you the effrontery to talk to me anyhow not to talk of laying your filthy hands on me, now take your filthy car out of my way you just ruined my evening”.
Celia stood defiantly on the road fuming in anger.
Ann entered her car, reversed it and drove off.
