”I hear you are throwing a party for the poster
boy, don’t i get an invite?” Jimmy walks up to
them at the end of the meeting.
Jacob stares at him , ”It is Jaime’s party, if he
want to invite you he can”
Jimmy smiles ”Or are people wrongfully
accused not allowed? And besides, Jaime, you
owe me a public apology and i think i would
like it on that day, what do you say? That is
the least you can do for tarnishing my image
is that not so?”
Jaime smiles ” If you insist, i keep to my
word” he says picking his briefcase
Christine and her mother walk up to them,
”Mrs Barlow;” he ki-sses her chicks ”Christine”’
He gives her a half smile. They exchange
pleasantries.
”I see the wonderful work you have begun
Jaime, the city is blessed to have a man like
you” Mrs Barlow says to Jaime.
Jimmy concluded that she should die too, next
to Gem her friend.
”Thank you” Jaime is checking his time ”If you
excuse me, i have to go. Father, i would stop
by later.”
”That is fine”
Mrs Barlow steps away from them with Jacob.
They are walking to the group of board
members immersed in talks. Mr Chena is
there, he and the others decide to stay in
Jaime’s camp. They ignore Jimmy.
Yes, they all might die too. Jimmy plots in his
mind. Jaime walks away leaving them to stare
after him.
”I was tempted to smash his face in” Jimmy
says un-der his breath
”In a few days Jimmy, you can do more than
that. Now, meet me in the toilet in five, i have
an itch” she smiles walking away.
He meets her in three, held up in his arms,
standing with her and her legs wrapped around
him he thr-usts de-ep into her until he shatters
exploding.
They smile at each other. They leave
separately.

Jaime enters the hospital room to see her
been put in a wheel chair, he goes to them ”I
can take her from her” he tells the nurse as he
wheels her away. ”Thank you.”
”Oh, a handy man are we?” Alexander
observes, he picks up her bag on the way out
and smiles at her.
Outside, Adam opens the car, taking the bag
away from Jaime. Jaime holds her up to
enable the nurse take the wheel chair away and
helps her into the car.
”Where is Tinny-B?”
”Possibly making a party for your welcome”
She smiles ‘i won’t doubt that fact” he sli-ps
into the car”
”Good to see you Miss Alexander, i can as-sure
you you were missed”
”Thank you Adam, atleast you are honest,
much less i can say for others who think me as a
pain” She throws him side-eyes.
”Just drive Adam and stop putting me in
trouble with the crazy woman” Jaime chuckles.
They laugh.

It was a quiet ride, one he used half of to
think of her and the other to stare at her,
wondering when it was that it happened.
He shakes his head ”What?” she catches the
movement.
”Nothing” he stares away. Infact, there is so
much i want to tell you Alexander, so much.
He stares at her again. He didn’t take his eyes
off her till they got to his house.

Tinny-B squeals seeing her, she runs to the car
and trying to open the door even before it
slows to a stop.
”Oh, now she would go and kill herself, Tinny-
B!!!!” Alexander screams, as soon as the car
stops, Tinny-b opens the door and is hu-gging
her, ”Welcome home!!”
”Don’t be ridiculous , this isn’t my home”
Alexander exclaims as soon as she could
breath from the hu-g.
Tinny-b ignores hu-gging her some more .
Jaime gets out of the car and then comes
round to her side, Tinny-B is talking excitedly
of how she had supervised the chef to make
her favorite food and all, and then how she did
this and that. And how she missed her.
Alexander was half listening as she stares at
Jaime who is patiently waiting for her to move.
Tinny-B turns around …
”I was wondering when you are going to be
throu-ghso she can get inside”
”Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!’ Tinny-B laughs ”Come
Alexie, your prince charming wants to do the
honours”
”Stop it Tinny-B” she tries to help herself off
the car, Jaime steps forward giving her his
hands, Tinny-B steps away.
”Can you walk ?”
”Yes, i am not crippled Lockswire ”’ she joked,
she moved wincing in slight pain, without
thinking Jaime bends sweeping her off her
feet bridal style and carried her inside the
house.
Tinny-B is jumping behind them and twirling
round and round.
”What got you so excited?” Adam is curious
”Oh, i smell wedding bells and i can’t wait” she
laughs. Adam frowns
”Who is getting married?”
”Oh, if you are not blind you would see what i
am seeing Adam..” she continuous to twirl and
then runs into the house
Adam pauses and the takes a moment to take
the scene in, then it dawns on him who she
meant ” Well, i did notice some
changes….ain’t that something. ” he laughs
shaking his head.
”Welcome home Miss Alexander” The
securities who were inside made sure to
welcome her as Jaime carried her in.
”I didn’t realize i was missed like this, Thank
you all”
They nod leaving
”Why did i feel like you made them do this?”
she looks at him
”I didn’t make them do anything, everyone
knows you got to be loyal to the person the
boss cares about” he says to her hearing alone
and then drops her slowly to the chair, He
lingers staring at her li-ps, her cheeks burns, he
pulls away, and then steps away from her.
”Coming throu-gh!” Tinny-B squeals carrying a
tray of snacks and then beckoning to the chef
to bring the other things ”Go on, eat, it’s a
party, send out to the securities and
cleaners..everyone. my girl is home” she
dances. Everyone laughs.

An hour later, Alexander was full, laughed till
her tummy hurts and then watched Tinny-B
dance till her feet could no longer carry her.
Half the time, she steal glances at Jaime and
catches him staring at her. He would smile
and then look away. The feeling was
something else. She could get used to this.
Jaime watches them for a while. Then he
quietly leaves the living room. Adam follows
him. He finds him resting on the balcony, a
drink in his hands. Staring into nothing in
particular lost in thoughts.
”So Boss?”
‘Adam” he doesn’t look at him as he drinks
from his wine glas-s.
”You seem different..”
Jaime laughs shaking his head ”All of a
sudden, everyone is seeing a different me”
”Yeah! A good different. Do i thank Miss
Alexander for this?”
”Nope” he smiles into the glas-s of wine.
”Liar”
Jaime laughs starring at him and backing the
view, his free hand in his pocket ”I swear,
didn’t know how it happened. but it did, it
has…and i like the feeling. No i love the
feeling”
”’Does she know?”
”Nope!!”
”I suppose you plan on telling her?”
Jaime frowns ”In as much as i can say for
certain this is the way i feel, i don’t know if
she would feel same way or if she does, i
don’t want to for-ce my feelings on her and if
she would feel something for me, it should
come naturally, not because i told her
so…no.”’
”That’s the most stupidest thing i have ever
heard..boss”
”I pay you to guard me not to meddle with my
private life Adam”
”Shit covers for that too”
They smile.
”Look, what’s the worse that can happen, you
are a charmer, no girl can resists that”
”She did, and i ended up falling and she is still
standing”
”Not the she i saw..”
Jaime stares at him even more ”What do you
mean”
”I think you are blinded that you don’t see. If
she didn’t like you atleast, i think she wouldn’t
allow you bring her back home, she would
have taken your offer to leave the city and
stuff, but like you said, she refused it and your
money too. What do you think that means
Boss?”
Jaime is pensive
”I think she was to be near you. If that don’t
spell feelings i don’t think anything does” He
smiles ”The big question is that do you want
to find out what she feels for you or you are
going to be a chicken playing guessing
games..your choice. Let me leave you with an
advice my father used to give me ”if it fills
right, follow your heart and wherever it takes
you” He taps his shoulders walking away.
Jaime takes the wine to his li-ps ”Does-she
really have feelings for me?” he lowers the
glas-s, smiles and the turns away to face the
view staring into the star-studded night.
He would like to find out. He decides. He just
nee-ds to have a story to get her out of her
room. Then he laughs making his way to her
room.

Alexander smiles at her friend ”Aren’t you even
remotely tired?”
”Nope. So..have you guys talked…like talked?”
Tinny-B turns on her side, her head raised by
her hand.
”Fight, yes!”
”Oh you both are always fighting, kids!But I
meant has he confessed his feelings to you”
”Tinny-B, you have it all wrong. He doesn’t like
me that way”
”Hmm, hmm, even you don’t believe that. So
while he was there after i left, he didn’t say
nothing important?”
Alexander seats on the bed, she had managed
to take a shower, ensuring to protect her still
bandaged wound. Tinny-B had helped her with
her nighty.
”Well he did say he cared about me, after
being annoying” she smiled
”And you blus-hed like the way you are doing
now ..right or right?”
She smiles ”And we did ki-ss, again” she covers
her eyes ”Oh it was breathtaking ..it was…ahh!
Tinny-B..i have been missing out on bliss.’
”Awww my baby girl love ki-sses now. You have
not been missing out, trust me,,,you just
nee-ded the right man and you found him. And,
what else happened?”
She frowns ”he wants me to go away to be
safe. But i told him no”
”Why though, don’t you want to be away from
all these ..not him , i mean the drama of
what’s happening?”
”I don’t know Tinny-B..just don’t want to leave”
”Leave the city or leave him?” Tinny-B winks,
she blus-hes

Tinny-B smiles ”You liked that?”
Alexander nods ”I mean, if he wants to care for

”I hear it is like heavenly, beautiful and blissful
and that when the one you love walks in, your
heart would keep beating fast, you would go
weak and you can’t stop thinking about him
and all that Jazz, you would grow warm and

Knock knock
”Ohhhh, who is coming to visit?” Tinny-B
jumps up from the bed. Alexander
unconsciously runs a hand throu-ghher hair,
steals a glance to the mirror and the adjusts
her seating position.
”Hi Jaime” Tinny-B exclaims
”Hi, wanted to er…” he trails off. Seating on
the bed like that with her eyes staring at him
made his heart begin to pound ha-rd. He
swallows. She really was breathtaking
beautiful.
‘Oh come on in”
He doesn’t ”No it’s late, just wanted to make
sure you guys are okay, ” He is staring at her.
”I am, she is, and she said she wanted to take
a walk” she looks back at Alexander
”No, you would exert yourself..” he looks at
Alexander.
”Where are you going to” Alexander points at
him, he had a towel over his shoulders.
”Swim. You want to come, see the water at
night?” Silly story, he kicks himself mentally.
”I can’t swim with my bandaged”
”I know, you can watch me”
”Ohhh!” Tinny-B exclaims and then stares at her
friend ”’Wow, he got hots for you girl” she
mouthed back to Alexander. Alexander reads
her li-ps and hides a blus-h again”
”No i mean, i can swim and you just–”
”Don’t mind me, i was kidding, well get up
Alexie, ” she goes and pulls her up nudging her
to him. Jaime takes her hand and then they
disappear downstairs. Out the back of the
house to the pool area.
*”Sure you okay?” he asks as he helps her sit
‘Yea, why are you swimming at night?”
”Clear my head”
”Why? is there something you want to shake
off? Mind telling me, i am a good listener, i
won’t judge you, i promise” she jokes
”No, just nee-d clarification. There is too much
of it, nee-d to air it out but can’t, so swimming
helps. ” He smiles ”I don’t want to burden you
with it”
”I asked didn’t i?”
He says nothing and then pulls her chair closer
to the pool and the lowers it so it lays flat on
the ground ”You can dip your feet into the
water though, feel the water, so you won’t get
jealous of me swimming alone .” She laughs,
he straightens up. She dips her feet into the
water, laying her head back am closes her
eyes.
”I am just going to go un-der for a few minutes,
”She nods not opening her eyes.
Then in another second she does. She sees
him taking off his shirt. Her eyes her fully open
now watching him.
Never had she ever found a man to be
attra-ctive, nor had she taken joy to see a man
undress even to his brief until tonight,
everything seemed new.
She lets her eyes course throu-ghhis body,
seeing his flat stomach and abs, then his
che-st, his hair-less che-st and body and his
long legs. He had unzi-pped his jeans, taking it
off.
Her eyes goes to his bulge showing from his
brief. He was most definitely not ha-rd
but…she wondered at the size of it if he were
to be erect. It was obvious that he was
blessed with endowment.
She wallowed feeling suddenly warm and hot.
Since when had she ever been attra-cted to a
man? Never until today.
It just felt like something had changed within
her. She was noticing everything about him.
His handsome face, his beautiful smile and
perfect dentition. The way his eyes bores into
hers and then way he calls her name felt
suddenly pleasing.
He turns to pick and drop his jeans, she lets
her eyes linger on his bottom, taut,
firm..holdable.
She turns away feeling a s-ns¶tion between

She squee-zes her legs together and then bites
her li-ps.
Dear Lord, what the hell was happening to her?
She turns to face him again. He is facing her,
but not looking at her, he is cleaning his
googles to wear.
She lingers on his body and wonders what it
would be like to ki-ss him there, on his che-st,
his n¡pp|es..and maybe to ki-ss him anywhere
else that might please him. To hear him M0-n,
to have him make love to her…to make her
feel things she had never felt before.
She felt the desi-re to walk up to him and then
throw her arms around him. She lowers her
eyes again, staring at his bulge.
Dear Lord , Alexander what has gotten into you.
He clears his throat, her eyes shoots up, he is
staring at her
”You seem mightily interested in the little guy”
she blus-hes ”I am not!…i was staring into-”
She blus-hes turning away.
He laughs turning and diving into the pool.
”Dxxk!” she mutters, bi-ting her li-ps, and then
she closes her eyes feeling tinkling all over.

”Oh dear!” she covers her mouth , then she
began to laugh.

He rises from the pool, grabbing a towel he
walks to her
”Tired, wanna go up?”
She nods her head. ”Did the swimming help?”
He shakes his head saying noting as they go
back upstairs. but instead of pas-sing throu-gh
the first stairs to take them up her room with
Tinny-b, he takes the second one to his. he
held her hand in his. She liked the feeling.
He gets to his door ”You want to know what’s
really on my mind?.” he ask staring into her
face
She nods ”Yes”
”It might be too much” he searches her eyes
”Tell me, what is it Lockswire”
He nee-ds to tell her, and he nee-ds to know
what she feels for him. Swimming didn’t help,
seeing her look at him that way tonight for the
first time only made his emotions worse, in a
good way. But most importantly, he wanted her
close to him, even if to hold her, he could
ba-rely even concentrate any longer.
He blurts out ‘You, it’s you that’s on my mind
..it’s you Alexander, i want you”
She is speechless. She opens her mouth to
speak , nothing comes out.
”I don’t want you the way your client does, i
want you the way a man does a special
woman to him…i want you the way a man who
has his heart beating fast wants from a woman
he is suddenly taken with. I want you
Alexander, and i think i have fallen for you…”
he pushes his door open and then pulls her
inside, letting it close behind him. He didn’t
want any distraction
” i don’t know how it happened, i just know it
has, it did…and i may still be trying to
un-derstand this but i am certain, right this
moment that i have fallen crazily inlove with a
girl who drives my mad and i don’t know what
else to do …other than to tell you.. i love you.
And i want to ki-ss and hold you so bad it is
driving me nuts” he steps closer to her, talking
against her li-ps. But i nee-d to know what you
feel for me, if you feel the same because i am
suddenly burning for you it is surprisingly
exhilarating. But, i don’t want to bark up the
wrong tree and for-ce my feelings on you..but
hell Alexander Beckington, you are suddenly
etched in my mind and possibly my heart and
all i want is to tattoo your name to me like
glue…and ki-ssing you right now would stop
my heart from beating too fast like it wants to
explode” he breaths
Alexander’s heart is pounding, her knees are
going weak… her hands are shaking as she
reaches for his face, staring into his eyes ”I
don’t know what i feel for you, but i know i
want to be ki-ssed, the way you ki-ss me back
at the hospital, and i really would want to
know how it feels to be held by you…” she
whispers ”I don’t un-derstand what i feel or what
i am feeling, this is new to me and ….” she
holds him ” You saying you love me have me
feeling..giddy, as though drunk and..i can
ha-rdly still my beating heart. Why does it beat
so fast like that and i feel weak and…oh” she
breaths unable to ba-re it , the nee-d, the urge,
the desi-re shooting throu-ghher, threatening to
break free ”ki-ss me Jaime, hold me and ki-ss
me please” she begs
He crushes his li-ps to hers, pulling her close
to him and holding her, careful with her he
pulls her slowly back to the bed as they slowly
sink to it. ki-ssing , only coming up for air.
Here, right this moment, this was and would be
the best moment of his life.
Her li-ps tasted like sweetened honey, a sweet
taste that travels throu-ghhis heart and tickles
his toes. And he wanted more..all of her,
much more of her.

whispers over her li-ps, controlling the desi-re in
his eyes.
And for the first time, she wanted all of it too.
She desi-red it, she yearned for it with him.
Only with him.

He smiles ”You called me Jaime…”
”Shut up ” she pulls his face down to her
smiling, blus-hing and in nee-d ”I want you like i
have never wanted anyone before”’ she
whispers into his ears. ”I want you to make
