EPISODE 60
“Edward!! What the hell are you doing? How could you have the main doctor chained up like this?! Are you insane?” she asked, gritting her teeth.
“Grandmother, why are you losing your cool self? Don’t you think this is against your ‘etiquette’?” Louis asked, mocking at her.
“Sit down grandmother. You are making a bad example to me” Eliina mocked, at last getting a chance to do that.
“Yes, grandmother. You always told us not to leave during breakfast time. Sit down grandmother.” Ethan added.
Empty vessels make more noise. It is what her good for nothing grandmother is.
“Beat him up,” Louis ordered the guards once Greta is for-ced to sit down. Now, there is a pin drop silence in the room. And, Greta’s quickening heartbeat could be heard…
These guards are not Royal guards. These are Louis’s people from the states. So, there is no chance they will talk about what happened here. Nor they will show mercy.
They are very loyal and trustworthy and only listen to Louis commands. There is no way she could order them or try her luck into helping her.
Meanwhile, as soon as the guards got their orders they took a whip and were about to beat, when that old man shouted.
“Greta, save me!! They will kill me.”
He was really frightened. These people are far more ruthless than the Royal guards.
After all they are from the un-derworld.
They do this with pa-ssion.
Greta gritted her teeth. She hesitantly looked at the old man but didn’t stop the guards from beating up.
For now, all she wants is to hide the truth. She already did so much for this old man and it is his turn to do this for her.
Meanwhile, his screams and his bloody bruises didn’t affect anyone except Natalie. He tried to run but he was grabbed and pushed on to ground while they continued beating him mercilessly.
Brina is already used to this, to be precise, to more worse than this. So, this is nothing for her. Her Kingdom is way more ruthless than sometimes, she used to enjoy it as well.
Same goes for Eliina and Elora too. They are used to being worse than this. As this old man has many things to split out before he dies and it has to happen to her, his punishment was simple and generous. They have seen worse too…
But for Natalie, she doesn’t even see a movie with blood. That’s how sen-sitive she is…
She couldn’t even see horror movies or disastrous movies. She is that soft hearted girl.
“It’s okay baby. Just close your eyes and hold me, okay” Ethan whispered to his wife as he patted her hand which was holding on to his sleeves ti-ghtly as her legs shivered.
‘I wonder how she will take it if she finds out that her father is worse than this’ Ethan thought while he ti-ghtly held her in his embrace.
He knows she needs to be strong but he couldn’t bring himself to go ha-rd on her. She just came out of depression and trauma.
His heart will hurt to see her in pain.
Meanwhile, that old doctor fell on to his knees and he gave a last pleading look to Greta. He already lost all his energy.
His body is swollen and blood is oozing out from the wounds and he looks like he will die in any minute.
“Gr… Gre.. Greta.. sav.. save m.. me” he whimpered in pain.
“Come on, grandmother. Aren’t you going to save your lover?” Louis asked, shocking everyone except Ethan.
When Greta didn’t react, Louis ordered, “Continue”
Then the screams and whip sounds continued reverberating in the room.
…..
Yesterday night, after Brina slept, Louis made a dangerous deal with one of the infamous, egregious informants.
That man was a private detective, a friend of Calvin who digs up information no matter how powerful and cautious the other side is.
However, he is a man of ethics and he also holds revenge against Greta, Who snatched away his happy family by being a homewrecker.
This man was trying to make Louis agree to that deal but Louis turned him down repeatedly. He knew he can’t do anything without the support from a powerful person.
As Louis already had his own people working on finding out about the blackmailing piece Olivia’s grandfather used on Greta. And, he was not in a hurry.
Moreover, he didn’t take it seriously because Greta lost contact with Olivia’s grandfather who was stri-pped out of his power by Nickolas.
So, he didn’t think Greta would do anything much. There are other important matters to attend to, he concentrated on that.
But after what happened, Louis couldn’t take it anymore so he striked that deal with the informant who gave him this information in return for some political help in which he got stuck while handling one of his cases.
Louis would never let go of the people who harm or try to harm his wife and baby. So, although the help he asked is a little risky and troubling, he agreed to it.
And what Louis found out from the informant is…
Greta was in love with this herb doctor since her youth. Because of her chronic migraine, that doctor used to treat her.
She fell for him and he fell for her power. They used to meet secretly because that doctor was already married by then.
After a while, Greta said she wanted to marry the king. Because of that, they came to a decision.
He would help her in anything she wants,
(Example: poisoning the tonics, making the queen infertile, killing the plants…etc)
And, she has to help him with money, power and other things.
Like this, with his help from outside, Greta became the queen. And, it was a secret only known to both of them.
Later, they stopped seeing each other after Greta got married. She was afraid of getting caught, so she didn’t meet her lover again. However they continued to help each other.
Everything went well for King and Greta for some years. She gave birth to an heir and everything was fine for her till the king lost interest in her.
They started to fight regularly and it was when Greta started seeing her lover again. The temptations made them meet again and resume their illegal relationship.
However, everything changed when Olivia’s grandfather Stan saw them making out.
From that day, he started threatening both Greta and her lover with it.
And, it was how he blackmailed her with Olivia’s case as well.
This affair was something that would disgrace her terribly, even after all these years.

*Back to present…*
“Come on, grandmother. Go and save your lover. You have been protecting him even when Stan was blackmailing you. Why are you not protecting him now?” Louis asked, mocking him.
“Or… or, are you afraid of admitting it, grandmother? Are you afraid that this treason will bring you an unbearable punishment?” Louis asked standing up from his chair.
“Don’t worry grandmother. You taught me so well. ‘Don’t accuse others without the proofs'”
“I got the solid proof with me, my grandmother. You cheated on your husband, the king, during your marriage. According to the rules, you have to be thrown into a dungeon with food once a day. No sanity, no power and no lover” Louis chuckled darkly.
The devilish look in his eyes made Greta shiver.
She doesn’t want to be thrown into a dungeon. She was once a queen, a royalty.
When Louis saw the fear in her eyes, his li-ps curved upwards. His eyes were more devilish that Greta started regretting her actions.
“It’s simple, grandmother. If you admit it and take this punishment, your embarra-ssing and despising past won’t be announced to the outsiders”
“You won’t be named as a traitor, a good for nothing noble woman. No one would spit on your face nor there will be stories like ‘Once upon a time there was a treacherous, shameless, uncouthly noble lady..'” Louis chuckled as he looked into her misty eyes.
There are like needles pricking into her whole body.
What Greta values the most is her image and prestige. She would never let someone ruin her image and for that, she would even kill herself or even kill others, just like she did to many innocent people.
“And, if you don’t admit it and apologize to my wife for trying to harm her, we will dig further into your past and, who knows what we might find?”
“You and your lover would have done too much of a bad thing to come here, right?” Louis asked, looking at her with a sm-irk plastered to his li-ps.
“If all that comes out, who knows what might happen to you, grandmother? You might even be punished for public hanging?” Louis chuckled.
“You will lose all the fame, respect and everything you gained in all these years. All your ha-rd work will be ruined and you will be named as nothing but as a wrech and home wrecker. You will be a jinx, a Villian in the history”
“Choice is yours” Louis said.
But, either ways she has to face the inevitable misfortune.
And, Greta couldn’t contemplate what to do.
If she asks for an apology from Brina and confesses all her mistakes, she would be thrown into a dungeon and have to live there forever until her last breath.
And, if she doesn’t, Louis will anyway announce all her crimes after digging out her horrible past. As the rules of the Kingdom Aletros is very strict, she will surely be sentenced to death and has to face public humiliation before her last breath.
Which, she would never agree to!!
Her forehead drenched with sweat and her face started turning white.
She is not a fearless person to kill herself. Not, she is ready to face public humiliation and die with a traitor and home wrecker tag attached to her.
So, all she could do now is to apologise to Brina and rot in the dungeon secretly till her death. She would suffer but at least her name wouldn’t get tainted!!
Meanwhile, Brina gulped.
Her husband is totally se-xy and incredibly handsome right now. He is totally hot when he is in charge.
She started feeling hot in her body and all she wanted to do now was to hug him and kis-s him. And, make love to him.
Due to pregnancy hormones, her appeal for se-x increa-sed by many folds.
‘What the hell am I thinking? This is totally incongruous’ Brina thought.
And, to quench her thirst and w-et her dry mouth, she started gulping down the water.
Otherwise, her face would be flushed and it will be totally embarra-ssing. She is thinking dirty when serious issues are happening here…
However, she couldn’t control it!!
Meanwhile…
Greta felt her sweat and tears rolling down her face.
She never thought her grandson could be this devilish and ruthless.
But, she didn’t want to give up.
After contemplating, she realized that she is on the dead end as she is the ultimate loser here.
Her blood started to boil and the monster inside her resurfaced. She would never ever accept her failure without fighting it.
She doesn’t want to die as a loser. But, she had no other choice, so, why not have her revenge before she dies??
At least, she will be happy in her past breath.
Thinking of it, she decided to do it.
Swiftly, almost unnoticeably she took the knife she was already holding un-der the table hideously.
She was about to attack Queen Elora, who is the nearest Target to her. And, if fortunate she wants to take her as bait to escape but…
All her plans got ruined again by the same person whom she disparaged till now.
Brina, who was sitting exactly opposite to Queen Elora and was observing Greta’s facial expressions cautiously, predicted that something like this would happen.
So, she had her guards up. Almost, as swiftly as Greta, probably more, she threw the water gla-ss she was holding.
It was very accurate that it swished and clashed with the knife on Greta’s hand, making it fall on the floor along.
Before Greta could react, with her other hand, Brina took the knife at her side and threw it at Greta’s hand, making her scream in pain.
One of her hands has been stabbed with a knife while the other hand has the gla-ss shreds pricked to her skin.
Everything happened in a split of a second.
Even Greta didn’t see that coming. Brina’s moves are totally graceful and elegant.
Even after doing it, Brina remained calm and collected. She just took the other gla-ss and started sipping that water as if nothing happened.
Well, she was very habituated in doing all these, as Sabrina. As a princess of a ruthless and powerful Kingdom, she used to have many enemies.
She had been in situations worse than this and what she did now is just her reflex actions.
Meanwhile, everyone just stared at Brina in awe and appreciation. They were not surprised because they have heard about Brina’s version of Sabrina. However, this is the first time they are witnessing it with their own eyes.
Elora, who was sitting adjacent to Greta, saw Greta from pulling out another knife from her secret pocket. Greta didn’t care about her injured hand and wanted to hurt some or other one so that she will at least have satisfaction that she inflicted pain to her enemies.
