Everyone g@sped immediately I sh0t the minister dead “Does anyone have something to say” I said looking at the ministers and Judges
Everywhere was silent…..
“I am Emperor Bhalladev the supreme leader of this village and no b©dy not even the deity can question mev
“Hail hail the king” one of the minister shouted
The whole villagers began to respond not long… It began to echo
I walked back to my throne as the guards took the corpse away
*that’s what the foolish gets for their foolishness*
“And let the judgment begin” The chief Judge said standing up

What a wicked Emperor he is…. Death, I only blame death… If his elder brother was alive, he wouldn’t have heard any chance to seat on that throne
“Chandu….you have been charged for traitor.. guilty or not guilty
“Why do you ask that” I began “its as if you have alre-ady pas-sed judgment, if not why am I seated here and not the trial seat”

‘Arragh’ I screamed in pain, after a few minutes the Emperor raised his hand and they st©pped
“Guilty or not guilty” the chief judge popped the question again
“Not guilty”
A loud murmur broke in the crowd, never has it happened in Chennai, pla-ying innocent even when innocent when Emperor charges you to court
Its the same as calling him a lair, I stole a glance at the Emperor and it baffled my that he was smiling
“Not guilty” I heard the chief judge say
“Am innocent” I screamed even more ha-rd
The two guards c@m£ forward again now holding a long metal cane and chain
Emperor Bhalladev looked away as they wh!ped my with the cane and chain
I cried in pain as the whole villagers begged for mercy
I refuse to plead for mercy, Emperor Bhalladev is a merciless king, no amount of tear and plead melt his heart
“You have just committed another sin” he began… I looked up to him.
“Lairing against the Emperor is an unforgivable sin which deserves death” he said and I bur-st into laughter
“Death…. I died five years ago Bhalla.. Living in Chennai un-der your bad governce is alre-ady death s£ntence” I screamed
The two guards made to come forward but Emperor Bhalladev st©pped them
“Really Chandu, Bad Governce..” He said stepping down from his throne
“You do have guts….. And I really love your guts” he said
“Am glad you love….” a h0t sl@p st©pped me from completing the s£ntence
I ti-ght£ñed my fist…. “How may people do you think love your governance”
“They can all jump into the river…. I don’t bloody care” he said and spat on my face
“Pas-s the judgment” he thun-dered
“According to the laws of Chennai… Chandu, you’ve been found guilty of the following crimes” he paused a bit
“Traitor, false accusations on the Emperor and criticizing his governance and defiling the throne”
“You are hereby s£ntence to death” the church said
“Life…..” Emperor Bhalladev cutted in sharply
“Life….” The chief judge asked, murmurs were heard from the crowd
Like seriously, is he planning to pl@ya good Emperor here so something
“But my lord….” The chief judge was saying when Emperor raised his hand
“My word is command and my command is law” he said and everywhere bec@m£ quiet
The chief judge walked back to his seat
“Today… I have s£ntenced Chandu to life…. A life he would pray so ha-rd to end” he began with his hand crossed at his back
“But realize that its too long to end” he added as he signaled his guard
The guards c@m£ forward dragging six masked captive
“Unmask them” he commanded and the guards obeyed immediately
A loud g@sps echo in the crowd immediately they were unmasked
My eyes were filled with tears “this can’t be happening”
I gave Emperor Bhalladev a quic-k glance, he was laughing evilly
“Keep my family out of this” I raved in tears
“I thought you were too strong to cry Chandu…. I never knew that courageous men cry” he mocked
“Now listen carefully…. I will s£nd troops as many as you can’t think of after D” he began holding my chin up
“Pray…. Pray ha-rd they find him because each night I will cut a p@rt of each member of your family and feed you for dinner”
More tears dropped down “Bhalladev….” I said in between sober
“Not only that…. I will kill all your friends in the slave house”
“Shame on you Bhalladev, Shame on you” I said and a h0t sl@p landed on my cheeks
Ten guards c@m£ forward holding a well heated metal, they positioned themselves and placed it on my b©dy
I screamed in pain…. Few minutes later they withdrawed the h0t metal and walked back to their position
“Lock him up” Emperor Bhalladev ordered and two guards blindfolded me before dragging me out.

The weather was cold, it had rained heavily last night…. I mumbled as I felt cold hand tou-ching me
Whispers followed which eventually turned to Bawa’s voice
“Oh what does he want now” I tried to cover my self with the duvet
“Wake up D” he said removing the duvet
I mumbled as I closed my eyes more ti-ghtly, I didn’t sleep on time last night all thanks to Bawa’s unnecessary training
I had enough training in Chennai so I don’t I nee-d his training which looked like a punishment… Training un-der h0t sun and cold rain
I felt cold water splash on me “holy cra-p” I j£rked up fully awake
“What the fv¢k” I said looking at him “you have a minute” he said and left
I hesitated for a few minutes before I went outside
I saw him standing facing the wall, his hand crossed on his back “Mumbai is a very big city” he began
I exhaled de-eply getting re-ady to hear a long speech from him
“It is well developed and not like the Chennai you grew up in”
“I was born there so….” “It doesn’t matter” he cutted in sharply
“Alot has happened in the last fifteen years…. Alot has changed and it will never be the same like before”
“I know”
“Good….” He turned towards me “Today I would be teaching you aiming”
“Aiming” I said more like a ‘what do you mean’
He opened a box in front of him and brou-ght out a gun…. “How did you get this” I asked
He ignored me as he continued loading bullets into it “here” he said handing it over to me
I took it without saying a word…. “Sh0t at the red point” he said pointing at a board
“Wow…” I said, I didn’t even look around when I c@m£ out
The board has six blue circles with a red dot at the middle
“Which of them” I asked, there were about ten of them so I was kind of confuse.
‘The first one” he said sitting down I re-leased the first bullet “holy cra-p…. It didn’t get any close to the board talk more of hitting the red dot
“You have to focus….” He said I re-leased another bullet, this time it hitted the blue circle
“Again” I heard him shout
I re-leased another bullet and luckily for me it hitted the red dot
“The second down to the last” he said more like an order, I turned only to see him enjoying his coffee
“Dammit am so hungry”
The sonner I finish this sh0tting stuff the better for me, I turned to the board.

“So can I eat now” I asked
“Not yet…. Come with me” he said and left, I followed suit murmuring
We got to a place with dusty stuffs, it looked like an abandoned warehouse
I used my eyes to access the whole environment, I noticed a dummy standing almost at the center of the room.
He walked towards it and t©uçhed it before turning towards me
“Experts concentrate and focus… For you to become one you have to do likewise…. Don’t allow anyone distract you” he said standing in front of the dummy
“That’s easy” I snapped
“Really…Well let’s see how easy it is” he said
“Sho….” he ordered
“At what”
“The dummy… Sh0t the dummy” he said
“What…” I screamed with my eyes and mouth wi-de open
“Sh0t at the dummy” he repeated
“But you are standing in front of the dummy… How can I sh0t….”
“I thought you said it was easy” he cutted in sharply
“Yeah.. With you out of the way” I said
“You have to concentrate, focus on the dummy and sh0t” he said
“You are in front of it…”
“Am not in front of it, that’s why you have to focus and concentrate” hr said
My jaw dropped, he got to be kidding me

“Its over…..” I said with my head lowered to the ground
“No, we still have like three days and 10 hours left” Bhavna said
“Its useless, how can I get my mission done in three days”
“You never can tell….” She said and I raised my head f0rç£fully
“Ewww, what with the….” She said pointing at my running nose
“It seems you don’t un-derstand, I thought I would be spending this Christmas in heaven and here am I, I haven’t even got my mission yet” I cried
Bhavna bur-st into laughter “seriously is that your problem” she asked inbetween laughter
“And plea-se, do something about your nose” she added
I bent down in tears…..
“Shaina are you crying” Bhavna asked
“Am I not supposed to cry, huh” I said sniffing
I felt a drop of water t©uçh my arm, it then hitted me whenever I cry it rains for 2 hours non st©p
“Shaina!!!!” Bhava screamed my name so loud
“What have I done…. I just lost 2 hours…” I cried
“You have to st©p crying shaina” Bhavna said looking around
I guess she was looking for a more hidden place for us
I sniffed and wiped away my tears then I felt it…. I felt my wings trying to pop out
Whenever an angel stays out in the rain, your wings pops out whether you like it or not and also you become visible at the same time lose all your powers so you can’t disappear
“I think its coming” I said and Bhavna glimpsed at me
“Try and hold it” she said as she gra-pped my hands
We were almost approaching an closed sto-re when my wings poped out
“Shaina” she yelled and pushed me into the sto-re
“That was close….” She said, her wings were also out
“I guess we have to stay here till the rain st©p” I said
“No…. Its not safe… The owner might come anytime, we have to leave” she said
“Leave….”
‘Yeah…. On three Shaina” she said
I swallowed ha-rd , it was my first time flying on the rain so I was kind of nervous
“Three….” She counted and gr@bb£d my hands flying up
