“Yes all is well, I called you to inform you about your father health” the doctor replied.
“What’s my business with my father health?” Adele asked.
ADELE P.O.V
I don’t un-derstand why doctor Leo called me because of Mr Clerk, did I look like Mr Clerk child to him.
“Adele you nee-d to calm down and hear me out” Doctor Leo said.
“I don’t want to hear about Clerk, you can tell me about someone else, *nimal are much better than Clerk” I replied.
“But his life is at stalk here” doctor Leo replied.
“Doctor don’t you hear, I don’t wanna hear anything about him” I replied.
“If you say so I just wanna inform you that your father is in the hospital” the doctor said.
“Thank you very much Mr doctor, you can call his bit-ches to come take care of him, so when did you asked me to bring my mum?” I asked trying to change the t©pic.
“Next tomorrow” doctor replied.
“Alright doctor I will talk to you later” I replied and end the call.

A knock c@m£ at my door and I stood up to open the door for the person.
“Gabby” I called and she smiled at me.
“Can I come in?” She asked.
“Sure” I replied and left the door open for her.
“Hope you’re feeling at home ma?” She asked. “To be sincere with you, I don’t feel at home because this place doesn’t look like my house, I missed my mother” I replied her.
“I un-derstand you perfectly, but you will soon get used to it” Gabby said.
“I can’t get use to this place my mother isn’t here” I replied her and my phone ring out loud.
I picked it up immediately.
“Mum” I said with a smile.
“How are you my princess?” Mum asked.
“Am fine my queen, I hope you are also fine?” I asked.
“I am, I was scared when you ended the call the other time, hope all is well?” Mum asked.
“All is well my queen” I replied with a smile.
“Hope you have gotten to where you and your boss is going to?” She asked.
“No we are still in his house, we are going next week, because of your operation, I nee-d to be there” I lied smoothly, I don’t like lieing to her, but I can’t possibly tell her that my father sold me to Mr grumpy.
“Why don’t you just come back to the house since you aren’t going on the trip now?” mum said.
“Mum I can’t come back, there’s something important am doing here, Claire is there to take care of you” I said.
“I know, you don’t nee-d to remind me” she replied, I can imagine her running her eyes right now.
“Alright mum, is Claire there with you?” I asked.

“I am fine” I replied. “We will talk later, I hope you un-derstand me” Claire said.

“Alright mum, take good care of yourself” I said.
“Alright I will take care of myself” I replied and end the call.

“And did you think you can run away from me?” Nathan asked.
“Am very sorry for running” Mr Charles replied and Nathan bur-st into laughter.
“Am sure you wanna die” Nathan said. “No I don’t wanna die, plea-se pardon me sir” Mr Charles said.
“I will pardon you” Nathan said and went to sat on his car bonnet, he brou-ght out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it, he draw it closer to his mouth and puff out the smoke.
“You have the mind to run away with my money, the funniest p@rt is that, you used my money anyhow, you spent all the money you borrowed from me lavishly and your wife is in the hospital battling for her life, that I have to paid for her operation” Nathan said and laugh out loud.
“You aren’t the only one that will suffer for this, your friends will also suffer for it, for spending my money with you, because they knew your wife Is in the hospital, none of them advice you to use the money for something reasonable, I don’t borrow people money to spend lavishly, I borrowed people money to do business” Nathan said and come down from the car.
He moved closer to him and kick him ha-rd with his leg.
“I am gonna kill you and your friends, and No one will ask me why I kill you all” Nathan said with an evil grin.
“Hey, you guys should drag him to the bu-tt, I nee-d to rest” Nathan said.

“Miss Adele did you know I forgot the reason why I c@m£ here in the first place” Gabby said. “Really?” Gabby asked.
“Yes Mr O’Brien have locked Miss Jane up” Gabby said.

“He sh0t her hand and leg” Gabby said. “What!” Adele shouted and her phone fall down from her hand.
“Where’s she?” Adele asked and stood up from the be-d immediately. “He locked her up in her room” Gabby replied.
“Ahh, I didn’t know this guyx is this heartless, what are we going to do now?” Adele asked.
“I have an extra key to the room” Gabby said. “That’s nice, go and bring the key” Adele said.
She moved closer to her bag and brou-ght out a first aid box before running out with it.
“did he wanna kill her?” Adele asked herself. Gabby c@m£ back with the key and gave it to Adele, Adele opened the door with a shaking hand and met Jane lying down on the floor, breathing heavily.
“Sorry” Adele said. “Let’s carry her out” Adele said and they both carried Jane to the sitting room.
“Go call the to clean her room” Adele said. “Alright ma” Gabby replied and ran off.

“Sorry” Adele said and placed her gently on the chair. “How did you learn all this things?” Gabby asked.
“I am a nurse, I was studying nursing before I dropped out of school” Adele replied.
“Oh, so sorry” Gabby said and Nathan entered the house.

He looked at Jane lying peacefully on the chair. “Who opened the door for her?” Nathan asked angrily and moved closer to Jane.
“Problem!” Gabby muttered.
“Hey stand up!” Nathan said and Jane managed to stand up from the chair.
“Who brou-ght you out of that room, why are you still alive?” Nathan asked.
“I did, why are you so heartless?” Adele asked and stood up from the chair.
“How dare you?” Nathan asked and move closer to her.
“You can do your worst, go ahead and k*ll me, am very sure you’re nothing without your gun and your boys, drop your gun and let’s fight,” Adele said showing off her arm.
“so you mean, you can beat me?” Nathan asked and fold his hand.
“I will if only you can drop your gun,” Adele said and Nathan move closer to her.
“Don’t get me angry, I can just k*ll you now” Nathan said.
“And do I look like am afraid of death?” Adele asked.

“You’re crà zy,” Jane replied and tried to stand up from the chair, but she ended up falling on the floor and Adele bur-st into laughter.
“Gabby” Adele called. “Ma” Gabby replied.
“Let’s go to my room,” Adele said.
“Come and help me up,” Jane said.
“Are you commanding me?” Adele asked. “Come and help me up now” Jane yelled.
“I will show you I can be wicked if I want to, Gabby let’s go,” Adele said and dragged Gabby to her room.
Nathan c@m£ out of his room and Jane hold his leg.
Nathan pushed her with his leg and she fall flatly on the floor.
“plea-se help me up” Jane pledged.
“You’re crà zy, I will k8ll you if I meet you here,” Nathan said and walked out of the house.
He opened his torture room and stepped inside the room and Mike shiver in fear.
“I told you to s£nd your boys to look after Charles, but you refuse, right? You think I can’t do anything to you!” Nathan said and nod his head.
“Sir am very sorry, I s£nt them, I didn’t know they’re incompetent” Mike replied.
“Who trained them?” Nathan asked.
“I did sir” Mike replied. “You their leader is not also competent, go outside and bring all the boys you s£nt, I wanna see them here before three minutes,” Nathan said and Mike nods his head and run out.
Nathan brou-ght out his phone from his pocket and dial a number.
“Hello, come to my house now! If I didn’t see you in the next ten minutes consider yourself dead!” Nathan said.
“But sir I can’t make….” Nathan didn’t allow the person he called to complete his statement before ending the call.
“Sir they’re here,” Mike said. “Bring them inside,” Nathan said.
“I heard you all aren’t competent, should I just k8ll you all?” Nathan asked.
“No sir, we will change” they chorused and Nathan brou-ght out his gun.
“Who among you is in charge of Charles?” Nathan asked and Mike point to two of his boys.
“$hit, I would have k8ll the both of you if not for the fact that you both have helped me before,” Nathan said.
“But you all won’t go unpunish including your leader, so here is my judgment,” Nathan said.

“Sir, did you think this will work?” A guy asked his boss.
“Sure it will, I have been waiting patiently for a time like this” their boss replied puffing out smoke from his cigarette.
“Sir I have a suggestion,” one of his boys said. “Am listening” the boss replied.
“What if we kidnap his mother?” He asked. “Are you crà zy? What did you wanna kidnap his mother for? If anything happens to his mother, you will have yourself to blame, because I don’t joke with her, am after his life, not his mother so get that into your empty $kull” their boss said angrily.
“Am very sorry sir” he said with his head bow. “sorry for yourself, you will have yourself to blame the next time you bring that type of suggestion” the unknown said and stood up from his chair.
“Sorry sir,” the guy said.
“St©p telling me sorry, or did you want me to kill you?” The unknown asked.
“No sir” the guy replied.

“Me Clerk, how are you feeling now?” The doctor asked.
“Am fine now doctor, thank you very much” Mr. Clerk said happily.
“You should be very careful now that you’re fine, you should st©p drinking and smoking, and make sure you eat on time,” the doctor said.
“Alright doctor, thank you very much,” Mr. Clerk said with a smile.
“You’re well, you will be discharged tomorrow,” the doctor said.
“Can’t I be discharged today?” Mr clerk asks.
“Did you have something important than your life, that you wanna go attend to in the house?” the doctor asked.
“No doctor, I will wait” Mr. Clerk replied with a smile.
“Better,” the doctor said and walked away.
“Am gonna show Adele and Nancy pepper for not coming to visit me in the hospital” Mr. Clerk said to himself.
