“ You are not, right?” He asked again looking at her.
“ where did you hear that from?” Aurora stuttered as she asked
” ‘I just want the truth,’ he said, his voice strained with emotion. ‘I don’t want to believe any of this, but I also want to know the truth. Please, just tell me everything.’
“ We… alth” Aurora called
“ Is it true?” He asked and she buried her face in her palm sobbing quietly.
“ Mom, I just want you to tell me it’s not true, please” he said
“ I… I didn’t want you to find out this way. I’ve been meaning to tell you, but I have been just scared and confused. I don’t know who your parents are, so I just couldn’t bring myself to tell you anything “ Aurora said
“ So it’s true, huh?” He asked and she nodded slowly.
“ Okay tell me how you found me. I know who my parents are, but just tell me how you found me” He said.
“ Wealth I’m sorry…..
“ I know. all I want to Know is how you found me and nothing else” he said
” ‘Your dad, I mean Sophie’s dad, found you in the river while he was fishing,’ she explained. ‘He thought you were dead, but you were still breathing. The only clue we had your identity was a necklace around your neck with the word “Wealth” on it. So we decided to name you after that word, hoping it would bring you good fortune.’ ”
” ‘Theseus suggested that we make a missing persons report,’ she said, a sad look in her eyes. ‘But I told him we didn’t have a child, so there was nothing to report. I was happy to just keep you as my child, and I never wanted anything to change that.’ ”
“ I didn’t know your real birthday, but I knew you were around two years old when we found you. I always felt a sense of destiny about it, like fate had brought you to us”
” ‘We decided to make the day we found you your birthday,’ she said, her eyes welling up with tears. ‘After two years of having you as our son, we had Sophie. And I always believed that you brought us the luck we needed to have her. You changed our lives in so many ways.’ ”
” ‘You loved Sophie from the moment you laid eyes on her,’ she said, a soft smile on her face. ‘She became so attached to you as she grew up, and it was one of the most beautiful things to see as a parent.’ ”
‘I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you sooner,’ she said, her voice shaking. ‘Theseus wanted us to tell you when you turned eighteen, but he… well, you know what happened. I couldn’t find the courage to tell you without him. I’m so sorry for keeping this from you all these years. ‘ “L
” ‘I’m so, so sorry,’ she sobbed, her voice trembling with emotion. Tears ran down her face, and she couldn’t stop the flow of tears.
” ‘It’s going to be okay,’ he whispered, his voice soothing and reassuring. He gently stroked her hair, and let out a shaky breath. ‘Everything is going to be all right.’ ”
” ‘I’m so sorry,’ she said, her voice trembling as tears streamed down her face. She wrapped her arms around him, and he did the same. They held each other, their bodies shaking with emotion. It was a moment of pure vulnerability.

” Madelyn sat there silently, her hand moving slowly up and down his back in a soothing gesture. Her eyes were fixed on him, her expression one of pure empathy. She didn’t say a word, but her presence was comforting and supportive. ”
” She let out a long, slow breath, and he looked up at her. Their eyes met, and he saw the understanding in her gaze.
” ‘If you’re not ready to talk about it, that’s okay,’ she said, her voice gentle and reassuring. ‘Take all the time you need. I’ll be here when you’re ready to talk. ‘ She smiled warmly at him, her eyes filled with compassion. ”
” ‘She’s not my real mother,’ he whispered, his voice hoarse with emotion. ‘The woman I thought was my mother all these years isn’t really my mother. ‘ She gasped in shock, unable to comprehend what he was saying. ‘What… what do you mean? ‘ She stammered. ”
” ‘My real parents were killed,’ he continued, his voice heavy with grief. ‘The people who raised me were my saviors.
” ‘I… I don’t even know how to feel,’ he continued, his voice cracking with emotion. ‘Part of me thinks it can’t possibly be true, but the evidence is clear. I’ve never felt this confused before. ‘ She could hear the pain in his voice, and she wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace. ”
“ it’s okay, ” she muttered
” ‘I’m afraid to open the necklace,’ he whispered as he pulled away from the hug. She looked at him with concern.
” ‘Is there something inside the necklace? ‘ She asked, her eyes wide with wonder. He nodded slowly, his gaze fixed on the floor. She could tell there was more to this story, and she wanted to know everything.
“ Really? What is it? ” She asked
“ the thing is~~~ (Narrates)
“ What, “ she gasped when he finished talking
” ‘Can I say that I know your dad? ‘ She asked, her voice gentle and careful. ‘I mean, your biological father.
“ you know him?” He asked
‘I remember seeing him with my dad a few times when I was a kid,’ she said, a thoughtful look on her face. ‘And I remember overhearing my parents talking about his death when I was around ten or eleven. It’s all kind of fuzzy, but I think I remember that.’
“ and I was two years old, “ he chuckled and her smile
” ‘That’s not important right now,’ she said, her voice firm but kind. ‘What matters is what you’re going to do next. You need to figure out your next steps.’ ”
‘That’s just it,’ he said, his voice cracking with emotion. ‘I’m so confused. They’re looking for me, and I don’t know what to do. I feel so lost and alone. ‘ He covered his face with his hands, his shoulders shaking with pent-up emotion.
” ‘You need to relax for now,’ she said, her voice soothing and reassuring. ‘You didn’t sleep well last night, and it’s affecting your mood. How about a nice, long nap? I can bring you some water, and then you can lie down and rest.’ ”
She left the room and returned a few minutes later, carrying a glass of cool water. She placed it in his hand, and he drained it in one long gulp.
” ‘Now, it’s time for you to rest,’ she said, her tone gentle but firm. ‘Lie down and close your eyes. I’ll be here if you need anything.’ ”
” ‘I’m not sure I can sleep,’ he said, his voice sounding exhaust and defeated. ‘My mind is just too restless.’ ”
” Let’s get something to eat first,” he added and stood up.
” ‘What about Sophie? ‘ She suddenly asked, her voice tinged with curiosity. ‘Does she know about this?’ ”
‘I don’t want her to know about this yet,’ he said as he turned to leave the room. ‘Let’s keep this between us for now.’ ”

~~ ‘I’m okay now,’ Sophie said into the phone, her eyes fixed on the screen. She could see the person on the other end.
~~~” ‘I’m really sorry, Sophie,’ the voice on the other end of the line said, their tone full of remorse. ‘I made a report when you didn’t show up for class, and I asked your roommates if they knew where you were.
~~” ‘Thanks for reporting it, but I’ve already called the school and told them I’m fine,’ she said, her voice soft and reassuring.
~~~” ‘Are you in pain? ‘ Henry asked, his voice full of anger. ‘How could they do something so cruel to a woman? ‘ He was seething, his fists clenched tightly at his sides.
~~” I’m fine, okay? ” She said, laughing a little to break the tension. ‘
~~” How was your class today? ” She asked, trying to steer the conversation in a different direction.

“ Sophie “ Wealth opened the door and she looked at him.
“ What happened?” She immediately stood up.
“ what?” He asked confusingly
” ‘Did you cry? ‘ She asked, her voice full of concern. ‘Are you okay? ‘ She took a step towards him, her eyes fixed on his red and puffy eyes. He looked away, unable to meet her gaze. ”
“ I’m okay. C’mon, let’s have lunch” He said and left the room while holding her hand.
“ But what happened to your eyes? “ She asked again, but got no response.
“I’m okay. Just sit and eat, “ he sat her down before occupying the other chair.
‘Mom, did you cry? ‘ She asked, her voice full of concern. Aurora hesitated for a moment, then shook her head. ‘No, it was just an allergic reaction,’ she said, her voice trembling slightly. ‘I’m fine, really.’
Even though she still had a lot of questions, she decided not to press further. She looked at Madelyn, who gave her a reassuring smile and continued eating her meal. The room was filled with an awkward silence, but no one wanted to break it.

Later that night ✨
” ‘Here goes nothing,’ Maria said through gritted teeth, staring at the door with a steely gaze. She pressed the doorbell, and a moment later, Levi opened the door, his shirt unbuttoned and his hair tousled
“ welcome” him smile and let her in before locking the door
“ I’m sorry I didn’t make it here on time, ” she said and hugged him
“ it’s fine, ” he said and locked lips with hers
“ Easy man, I just got here, ” she laughed as she broke the kiss.
” ‘Your lips are so full and tempting,’ he said, his voice low and seductive. His gaze was fixed on her lips. ‘You’re just too beautiful to resist.’ ”
She trails her fingers down his bare chest with a seductive smile.
” ‘Oh, you like that, do you? ‘ He teased and let out a low laugh, his eyes twinkling with amusement. She leaned in closer, her fingers still trailing down his chest. ‘Maybe,’ she said, her voice a whisper. ”
“ Let’s go to the bedroom, then” she winked, the turned and walked away, swaying her hips.
Without a word, he followed her, his eyes glued to her every movement. He was mesmerized by her, unable to look away. She led him through the house, taking him to the bedroom.
” ‘You’re going to regret messing with her,’ Maria thought to herself, her face expressionless. She continued to walk, keeping her movements controlled and precise.
