Though I was not supposed to drop there, but I had to carry my small bĀ©dy out of the car before somebĀ©dy will squee-ze my mouth out.
Trekking down to the place, I was very angry with myself for getting involved in someone wahala and my phone began to ring.
It was the customer calling to know where I was which I told her,
“Okay am sĀ£nding someone to you now, she said and I was so happy my trekking will be less though i was not that far from her place.
I handed the package to the guy she sĀ£nt and called her immediately to tell her before I’ll hear stories later.
“Okay thanks, she said and I dropped the call knowing she alre-ady paid for it and headed to the office.
There in the office my mom called and asked to see me,
“Okay mommy, I’ll be there when am done here, I said.
“Bring something as you’re coming oo and not bre-ad oo, my mom said and I heaved.
“Were you a tax collector in your other life? I asked.
“Eh you say? She asked pretending not to hear what I asked.
“Mommy bye bye, I said and dropped the call.
Thank God its Friday and I suddenly felt like spending the weekend with my mom after her call. I thought of reaching home first to take the bags i have to deliver on Valentine day with me and some wears I’ll use until Sunday evening I’ll return home.
I got home to carry out my plans and a knock c@mĀ£ on my door, I opened up and saw daddy Love outside and I just weakš«
His face was not good at all and that made me more scared,
“Yes, I manage to say.
“Prisca what’s the meaning of that? why embarras-s my friend today? He asked.
“What friend? I asked.
“You saw the lady that was with me in the car yesterday, what did you say to her this morning you saw her? He asked.
“What concerns me with the lady of yesterday? Did i even see her face or do i know her before to remember her? I asked very boldly because this Prisca fear wahala pas-s anything.
“You mean you didn’t say anything to her today or didn’t you see her today at all? He asked.
“plea-se i don’t like such talk, am just coming back from work and i have a lot of things to do, what’s my business with her anyway? She must be mistaken it was this Prisca she saw, i replied.
“Okay fine, sorry i disturbe-d anyway, and how was your……. “plea-se am busy bye, i said cutting him short and closed the door immediately and breathed out with my hand on my che-st.
With a speed of light i was alre-ady struggling to bring out my bags, fiam i left to my mom place to avoid more dramas.
Getting there the welcome my mom gave to me was to tell me thank you for bringing her bags. In fact she was getting the bags from me before i could say anything,
“Ahhhh you see your name for the bags ni? Bags wey people get abeg give me, i said getting the bags from her.
“So which one is my own? She asked.
“No be old woman bags be this o, I said and shifted slowly from her as she opened her mouth.
“Prisca who is the old woman? She asked.
“Na me talk that one? I dey mad ni to call you old woman? I asked and bur-st out laughing at the way she looked.
“Mommy I’ll sĀ£nd you a bag, its just that the gain from this set is not that much, you know what I always do na, I said tou-ching her.
“You better do, in fact i nee-d a red one to go for a meeting next month, my mom said and i shook my head looking at her.
The enjoyment and fashion that is still in my mom head still surprises me, she flaunt bags more than i do sef.
“Don’t worry sisi I’ve heard you, but you have red bags na, i said.
“Is it your red bags? She asked and i swallowed.
“Sorry na, don’t worry I’ll give you a new fine red bag let me have peace, i said.
“eh, so when will you ascend into selling of lace and shoes? She asked but i just carried my bags and located my room without wasting time………….
Throu-gh out Saturday i was just in my be-d advertising my products recklessly and got 5 people who nee-ded bags that day.
I had to rush home to get the bags for delivery and on the way Jacintha called me on phone. After i delivered the last bag I decided to join the girls for a drink after Jacintha told me where they will be chilling.
“Business madam! They cheered at me when i arrived and i laughed and sat down. I was sweating alre-ady and ordered for a chill drink to cool me down,
“How far na, this one you change your design of nails when e never reach 5 days sef, I said to Tessa and she laughed.
“Make i prepare nails keep o in case ring go slide in, anything can happen o, She replied and i sm-irked.
“What if he no slide? Jacintha asked.
“we-tin that one mean now? Why he no go slide? Tessa asked.
“Ahhhh na fight? That’s a harmless question o, Jacintha said.
“No dey ask me yeye question wey go vex me, Tessa said.
“Leave quarrel aside, But na very good question she ask o, what if he no slide tomorrow? I asked.
“He must slide oo else e don over be that, she replied and threw her hair backwards very angry and i laughed.
“Wahala no dey ever finish hmm, I said sipping my drink.
“Babe take it easy, he may propose after valentine you may never know, e never reach to over the relationsh!plike that because he no engage you, Jacintha said.
“Eh motivational speaker talk to me because your own don engage you. I want it on lovers day, and if my own no make me feel special tomorrow then i no go do again, no be by f0rƧĀ£, Tessa seriously said.
“You all are getting this so called lovers day wrong sef. Just imagine if your bĀ©yfriĀ£nddecides to show you love once in a full year will you bear it? but e concern una, my own na to deliver bags tomorrow ish, I said.
“we-tin you sabi, E concern you too, so Jacintha when will you finally post on your wall? Tessa asked and she heaved.
“Mhen my boo is not yet back oo but he promised to make it up to me….. I know what he can do na. When he returns we’ll make it ro-mantic and muah, Jacintha replied shaking her bĀ©dy and i rolled my eyes…………
