Finally the almighty Valentine is here. I was enjoying my peaceful sleep that Sunday when my Mom gave me a loud sl@p on my bu-tt to wake me up for service.
I screamed out telling her I won’t be able abeg and fell back to the be-d, but my colleague call c@m£ on phone.
“Hello, I picked up with a sleepy voice.
“Madam day don break oo, you dey house? He asked.
“No am at my mom place, sorry I forget to tell you but I have the package with me. Will you come get it here? I asked.
“No find me trouble this morning o, s£nd me the address, he replied and dropped the call and I texted it to him.
I got a beep on my phone and it was an alert and I went online to see the guy has s£nt the half payment as he told me.
“Where am I delivering? I replied him and he s£nt the location and the time.
“Why evening nau? I asked.
“Because I’ll be out with her and I want it delivered straight to her, he replied and I yawned.
“Okay o, I replied and dropped the phone still feeling sleepy.
My family doesn’t eat on Sundays Morning, since i was left alone i had to fix up something for them to eat after my colleague got the package he ordered for.
After setting the table my phone rang and it was the woman i delivered bags to yesterday. Ahhhh I bec@m£ scared o thinking there’s any problem, but no, she wanted getting 2 more bags again after she saw the bags i posted last night before going to be-d. That will be the last bags taken while i will dispatch the ones booked for and it was good news.
I told her I’ll be at her place in the afternoon because i saw some laundry i had to help my mom with which she accepted.
Done with the laundry my family returned and she was happy i helped her with the laundry when she didn’t ask me to.
“No problem, shey I won’t give you the red bag again? I asked her.
“I don’t un-derstand,who talked about bags here? Yeye, she replied and went in while i laughed.
I took the bags with me and went home to take the rest for delivery. Before I was able to dispatch 3 with the traffic and everything, dusk was falling on me and i called up Jacintha because i was close to her area.
“Wait for me joor, she said and i waited somewhere for her.
When she met with me she began to laugh because i was holding few bags,
“Tell me true Prisca, you call me because you want help or you call me because you dey around my area? She asked and i laughed because she got me.
“Help me abeg make i no come die, and besides someone is coming to deliver a valentine pack for me something you go collect all sef, i replied and Jacintha screamed hitting me.
“From who na? Who’s that guy? She asked and i sm-irked.
“Na me be the guy, that’s self love, I replied and she hissed. My colleague called and i told her where I was waiting and she delivered the valentine pack.
“Thank you, I said but Jacintha got the basket from her before the thank you dropped sef.
“Thanks also, let me rush to another customer and well done o, she said referring to my products and i smiled waving at her.
“See o, na because of we-tin dey this bag i dey agree to follow you o, but you go pay my transport ba? Jacintha asked.
“And i thought i had a friend, i replied.
“And i love you too, she said and got a bag from me and i laughed……..
We dispatched together and had the one and only package left.
I had the location alre-ady he s£nt in the morning and we bounced into the place. Jacintha saw a friend of hers and paused for a brief discussion, but i was on call with the guy to know the table he is.
He was able to describe where he was and i went over there and greeted them, but before then, I notified Jacintha pointing to the direction i was heading to.
“Oh you made it, welcome, the guy said getting the package from me and i smiled.
“Thank you, i said and the lady was just looking at us.
“Babe what’s going on? She asked but he ignored and s£nt the balance of the bags for me right there.
“Delivered, i appreciate, i said.
“plea-se wait, I want to know if she likes it, he said when i was about to go and i rolled my eyes and st©pped.
“Honey this is for you, he said giving it to her.
“Really? She asked and happily opened it and just there Jacintha arrived but I didn’t un-derstand her face at all.
“Chidi? She called out and the guy looked at her and i saw that surprise look on his face also.
Shuooo who be Chidi again?? I asked as i shifted one side to look well.
“Is this the business trip huh? You promised! How dare you! Jacintha screamed out and it was there i remembered her God s£nt b©yfri£ndis Chidi. I’ve never met him before in person but only in pictures, my head no even carry me go there at all.
“Babe who is she? What’s going on? The lady with him asked.
“Wait a minute, don’t tell me he’s the guy who engaged you few days ago? I asked Jacinta.
“Hey What! What engagement? The guy asked surprised with what i said and i looked at Jacintha and she was alre-ady breathing like an asthma patient.
“How dare you do this to me? Jacintha asked.
“Just st©p it alre-ady okay, look love i don’t know that lady she’s saying trash, the guy said to the lady.
“Chidi you dare say that to my face huh! I’m saying trash right! Jacintha shouted and turned the table upside down.
Thank God i saw the alert first o before the drama, the least i could do was help to separate the dirty fight that bur-sted out between Jacinta and the lady.
I had to drag Jacintha to my place and she couldn’t st©p crying all the way home.
But getting to the compound there was another drama there. Side chick said daddy Love didn’t meet up the valentine package she requested for, and he’s trying to avoid her, because of that she promised to open his nyash😳
Hiannnnn she just waited in the compound for them, and with their wear to match coming back from shoppings, she shamelessly approached them and asked of her own share and bomb exploded.
I just jejely carried myself and Jacintha into the house and couldn’t st©p laughing at Jacintha seeing her face. Babe humble and e sweet me wella,
“So you seriously got your self engaged in advance huh? Una sha dey ment, i said and she cleaned the h0t tears that poured down her cheeks saying nothing to me while i went to the window hearing the gbas gbos the other way.
Everywhere bec@m£ calm at a point and Jacintha weakly sle-pt off. I took my phone to check the internet and went straight to Tessa wall but saw nothing, then i messaged her asking how it went with her boo.
“No vex me o, guy just carry flower give me like say i be goat. I don tell am say I no dey do again after 3 years, make he carry the flower decorate his br@in, she replied and i rolled on the floor laughing ha-rd 🤣🤣🤣🤣
With all the hyping, expectations and everything, it ended in vawulence.
