Episode 3.

That day I made sales despite i didn’t carry any bags to the office even when i didn’t plan for it. It was my first time advertising my products to them, but I had to make use of the opportunity I gat. I base on the internet where I have a page I make my sales, and the look from my colleague who started made me know enmity is not far fetched.
To block the problem I s-en-sed coming, I had to book a valentine pack from her to make her happy at least which she promised to deliver on the day. It won’t be a bad idea to hold my own lover day at home right??š¤·
I got home from work very tired, though I dropped by an eatery to buy a plate of rice I’ll use as my dinner. I was just too tired to enter the kitchen, neither did I feel like taking swallow for dinner.
A car drove into the compound and I had to peep to see who it was. Mommy Love c@mĀ£ down holding her daughter, and the cheating husband c@mĀ£ down last, and as usual they were in their normal wear to match.
“Thank you daddy, Love happily said and I saw she held a shopping bag.
“You’re welcome my love, don’t worry on Valentine day daddy will get you fine fine gifts, He said tou-ching her cheek.
“Yesssss! What about mommy? Love asked.
“Of course I’ll get fine gifts for mommy also, she’s my big baby, he replied and his wife smiled crossing her hands on him which he crossed his on her w@!st and they slowly left to their ap@rtment.
I heaved and sat down back looking at the food i wanted eating.
I admired the couples so much and prayed to have such a happy home soon, but i couldn’t take the shameless act I saw that man did out of my head.
I don’t seem to un-derstand where Mommy Love failed that would warrant him to bring a strange woman into his matrimonial home when his wife is away, and to make it more painful to me, the chick no fine like his wife despite she has given birth. I just prayed his act should not cast soon because i don’t want to see mommy Love hurt even as she’s fighting to make her family intact.
After eating i dozed off but heard a beep on my phone, when i checked it was an alert from my colleague who paid for the bag he chose.
The alert was a stress relief and i quic-kly called him up,
“Oga thank you o i don see am, I said when he picked up.
“No wahala, I’ll get it on Val day plea-se, but package am well o if not it will be me and you, he said and i laughed.
“I gat you, you’ll come to the house to pick it or I’ll deliver myself? I asked.
“I’ll drop by your place very early in the morning because I will be going to somewhere so I’ll get it from you, he replied.
“No problem, till then goodnight, i said and dropped the call.
I yawned and suddenly felt thirsty, i craved to drink something chill and i quic-kly left the house to get soft drink down my street..
Coming back i recognized daddy Love car parked on the road not too far from the compound and i wondered what he’s doing there or when he even drove out sef.
I knocked on the door knowing someone was inside, and as a concern neighbor its not bad to check ba?
“Daddy Love, I said with my mouth on the glas-s as i knocked again which he wined down smiling,
“Hey Pricy, he said and i looked and saw the same lady he sma-cked her as-s at my window but i swallowed.
“I saw the car na and wanted to confirm its yours, i said concentrating on him.
“Ahhhh yes I was actually discussing something important and nee-ded privacy, I’ll be home soon, he said.
“No problem then, bye, i said and walked away and scoffed smiling to myself but he called me behind.
I stĀ©pped and he c@mĀ£ to me,
“plea-se don’t tell my wife you saw me on the street, he said and i sm-irked.
“Is that necessary? I thought you nee-ded privacy with her? I asked.
“Her? What do you mean her? I don’t like that tune besides we’re discussing something i don’t want my wife to know that’s why am here. But never mind, he said and left and i shook my head and walked away.
I got into the compound and sighted Mommy Love outside her flat as if she was waiting for someone which i didn’t know she saw me,
“Prisca Is that you? She called out first when i wanted sneaking into my house o.
“Yes o, good evening, i stĀ©pped and greeted.
“Good evening. Abeg you don see my oga for street there because he’s not picking my calls. Love is having fever and he offered to rush to the pharmacy and he’s not back yet, she said and my jaw dropped. Prisca must not put herself into something that concerns husband and wife and i reject this temptation.
But this is so sad, So even as his daughter is sick he’s still parked on the street with his chick? I asked myself.
“Eiya I’ve not seen him o, I didn’t go far sha but don’t worry he will be back. But i hope its not too serious? I asked.
“You know how Love is na, any small thing she will start shaking and am worried, she replied and his car was seen entering the compound.
“Okay he’s here, don’t worry she will be fine okay, i said and got into my ap@rtment to prevent more discussion……………
The next day I had to wake up early so i can make delivery of the bag a woman ordered. I didn’t want to be held in traffic and arrive late to the office, so i had to leave the house earlier than the devil.
On the way i had a beep coming from the user who asked me to keep 2 bags for him.
It was a reminder from him because he hates disappointment and i smiled seeing that,
“I haven’t forgotten and yes your bags has been packaged waiting for the alert and the lovers day, i replied.
“Your account number, he sĀ£nt and i hummed happily as i typed it down.
“Okay, you’ll get half payment on the fixed day until i see the products myself, he said and i rolled my eyes.
“Okay ooo, i replied and dropped my phone with a frown.
The cab stĀ©pped and another pas-sĀ£nger got in, and when I wanted adjusting for whoever it was i saw it was the lady of yesterday….. Daddy Love chick.
I used my eyes and ran throu-gh her dressing and bur-st out laughing, her kind of person was so obvious but i wont blame her, it was the man who went to her isn’t it?
“Excuse me, what’s funny here? She asked.
“You should learn to mind your business miss and don’t forget to change that sponge you have on your head you call wig. With all your doings with married men you cant afford quality ones, what a waste of sin, i replied and quic-kly tapped on the driver to stĀ©p me.
“Wait o are you talking to me? Hey! She angrily shouted and i hissed loudly paying the driver and left………….
