The medias and paparazzi were already all over the station when Valerie was been brought to the there.
Immediately they saw her getting down the van with the police officers, they rushed to her like bees to honeycomb.
Shuttering of cameras, and flashes of camera lights filled her face.

🎙️ Is it true you had a face surgery??
🎙️Is it true you’re having an affair with Mr Jeffrey Zhang?

They bombarded her with questions.
News flies like wild fire, that was exactly what her case.
The police officers successfully got her into the station and she was directed to the inspector, who took off her handcuff and all other accessories which she did.
Her name was taken down and she was been taken to the cell.
As she walked there with the constable, Evie’s voice came up and she stopped walking.
“Good evening City of Sydney. Right on your screen is Evie Zhang, alias Fashion Evie, and today I’ll be sharing a big secret with you all.” She said, and Valerie turned to see her on the TV.
Her jaw clenched in anger watching her face on the screen hatefully.
“Move!” The constable said strictly, pushing her and Valerie grudgingly got into the cell. She locked the cell gate and walked away.
Valerie held the bars of the prison, looking at Evie on the screen.
“Exactly three years ago, I’m sure we’re all aware on the scandal of Madison Roberts on me. And I know you all must he thinking the case got resolved. Actually it did, but then Madison Roberts never gives up, so it’s high time I disclose the secrets we’ve all been hiding from the public.” She said and Valerie furrowed her brows.
She knew there’s no way Evie would be surrending, so what was she sputtering??

Jeffrey gasped, what the heck was Evie doing??
He wondered as he watched the live. She was saying the opposite of what happened.
That Jeffrey was first married to Madison but then he abandoned her, and left with their child then he came to get married to her (Evie).
Jeffrey angrily switched of the TV, exhaling heavily.
What the heck was Evie saying? She was putting all the blame on her?? Was this her new motive all along?
He thought, pacing the about. He immediately took the stairs to his room.
Anamika sighed, before bringing out her phone.
Jane also sighed. The chaos in the house right now was just too much to handle.

“What!” Aurora screamed.
“Madison is alive??”
Fawn stood frozen at a spot. So many thoughts ran through his mind as he stared at the TV with the remote control still in his hand.
He remembered when he met Valerie the other day, so this is was what she meant by she finally met him??
But why didn’t she show herself to him??
Why was she hiding all along??
Why did she go back to the Zhang’s life?? Why??
They all ran through his heard even tho he had a slight idea of why, he couldn’t help but wondered.
He suddenly dropped the remote and rushed out of the house immediately.
“Fawn!!” Aurora called.
“I can’t believe she’s alive.” Albert muttered.
“Me too.”

“You’ve seen Evie’s live video which is trending all over the internet and radio station??” Anamika asked on the phone
“Currently watching it.” Derek said, with his eyes glued to the TV and his legs crossed on the couch he was sitting on.
“What are you doing about??” Anamika asked from the other side.
“You should watch and see.” He said with a smirk.
“You have to bail Valerie.” Anamika reminded.
“It’s past bailing hours. She’ll have to stay in cell tonight.” He said.
“Really??”
“Yes.” He said, tapping his hand on the couch.
“I feel sorry for Valerie, she has suffered alot.” Anamika sighed.
“I know. But I told her this plan wasn’t gonna work. She still went ahead with it. We’ll wait till tomorrow. Justice will prevail tomorrow.” He said.

“Madison!” Fawn called immediately he rushed into police station.
Valerie who was sitting with her head down, immediately raised it up to see him.
“Fawn…” She muttered.
Fawn made to rush to her but the cops stopped him from getting to her.
“You can’t see her.” They pushed him away.
“That’s my sister!” He shouted back at them. But they still didn’t let him go.
“You can’t just barge in here like you own this place. It’s not your home and your sister is in detention!” The strict constable yelled.
Fawn shook his head an rushed to plead with the inspector who later let him see Valerie after few hours of begging but, it was with her in the cell. He was only gonna stand outside.
“Madi…” He called, his eyes were slowly getting teary. He really do missed his sister and he wanted to hug her so tightly right now but he couldn’t, he could hold her hands which he did.
“Fawn.” Madison muttered blinking her teary eyes.
“You’re alive. Why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t you call?” Fawn yelled and she sniffed.
“I’m sorry Fawn. I didn’t wanted to show my face to you as a loser. I wanted to get the justice I deserved before seeing you. I promise.” She cried and Fawn tears finally fell from his eyes.
“I missed you so much big sis. I knew you would come back to me someday and I’m glad you did.” He said and Valerie nodded crying.
“I’ll help you in getting the justice you deserve.” He said and Valerie nodded.
“Thanks Fawn. You’ve always had my back. I love you.” She said and Fawn nodded.
“I love you too big sis, and I missed you as well. I’m glad you didn’t commit the sucíde.” He said and she nodded.
He slowly took his hand to her face and wiped the tears on her face.
“Don’t cry. I’m here now.” He said and Madison smiled.
Just then the constable walked to them.
“Time up! You have to leave now.” She said and Fawn smiled.
“I’ll leave now. I promise to return early tomorrow morning to get your bail papers signed.” He said and Madison smiled.
“Thanks.”

Jeffrey could been driving speedily, Evie’s live video kept playing repeatedly in his head.
He pressed on his brake angrily, increasing his speed.
How could she turn the whole truth upside down?? Why was she this heartless??
He wondered.
“Ahh!!” He screamed as he almost ran his car into another but he immediately averted and screeched to an halt by the side of the road.
He banged his head on the steering wheel at the sudden ejection.
Flashes of the dark memories of that night started coming to his head in a rush, it was blur just like he always sees it but slowly it started getting clearer and clearer.
The shout became familiar, the sounds everything, it came back in a rush. His memory of that night which he lost.
He gasped looking up.
He remembered it… everything.
He wasn’t driving the car that night. He and Evie had gonna clubbing that night, and they were completely drunk after it.
Evie was the one driving the car that very day because Jeffrey couldn’t drive a car then, he was still learning so Evie had to drive even tho they were tipsy.
Then they got into that accident. He remembered.

“Evie!!” Jeffrey screamed when she ran over the girl.
Evie’s eyes widened, it was as if the both eyes cleared of the alcohol right then.
Evie stopped few metres away from where the accident spot, breathing heavily. She couldn’t believe she ran into someone. She kílled someone.
“What have you done Evie? Let’s go check if she’s alright.” He said and was about opening the car door but Evie brought back the engine to life and took off immediately.
“Evie! What are you doing?? Let’s help!” He shouted at her.
“No! Let’s run away!” Evie shunned him.
“But what if–”
“You can’t surrender you kílled someone, don’t you get it!” Evie yelled at him.

Evie was the one who kílled the girl that night and she has pinning the blame on him all long.
“Damn you Evie!” He yelled and immediately ignited his engine, then he took off.

June just stood watching her parents paced about in the living room. Her dad kept making unending business calls. It’s obvious they were worked up, but she was sure it has nothing to do with Evie’s live.
What was going on??
She wondered.
The door opened and Jeffrey walked in.
Giovanni rushed to him.
“Did you tamper with any property document?” He questioned and Jeffrey only furrowed his brows.
“I don’t get. You know I have no access to that.” He shrugged.
“Shit!” He cussed.
“Where’s Evie??” Giovanni asked and the door opened.
Evie walked in with the police.
June raised his brows.
“Evie, what are you up to? Are you aware our reputation is at stake at what you’re doing right now?” Tessa asked.
“No it’s not. I’m only doing what should be done right now.” Evie said and she turned to the inspector.
“Inspector Clark…” He showed his ID, before turning to Jeffery.
“Mr Jeffrey Zhang, you’re under arrest for

“You bítch! Devil! Witch! You kílled her didn’t you?” He said and Evie gasped.

“You’re a loser Jeffrey, it won’t change. Now go cool your @ss in the jail where you belong!” She spatted on his face and he scoffed.
“Never! You’ll be the one finding yourself in the comfort of the four walls of that dark cell.” He said with hatred in every word that he spewed.
Evie smirked.
“Inspector?? Do your job.” She said and the inspector nodded and made to handcuff Jeffrey.
“Stop!” A voice said and they all turned to the door.
It was none other than Derek.
Unlike every other day, he was smartly dressed in a black suit and a shiny pair of black shoes.
He had one hand inserted in his pocket as he walked in, in a slow mo.
Tessa and Giovanni’s eyes widened in surprise on seeing.
“Derek…”
“Your arrest will be put on a hold. It’s time everyone knows what truly happened years ago.” He said, his eyes on Giovanni throughout.
Giovanni was still staring at him in disbelief.
