Jeffrey woke up to the chirping sound of the birds, with the sunrays peeping it’s way from the curtain.
He made to move but couldn’t, that’s because of the weight on his arm. A smile crept on his cheek when he saw the beautiful creature sleeping in his arms.
Jeffrey smiled and began starring at her, wondering how she can be so cute yet beautiful early in the morning.
From the way her lashes hugged each other, to the way her tempting lips were slightly parted with her hair covering part of her face.
He ran his hands through her cheek gently so as not to wake her up his gaze still fixed on her lips.
He stared at her lips for a while before he leaned in and pecked them. That made her to wake up
Valerie smiled when she saw his handsome face. Who wouldn’t be happy waking up in the arms of the man they love.

“Good morning Theo!” Valerie smiled widely, her gummy smile looking so cute.
“How was your night? Are you hungry?” Jeffrey asked, gently patting her hair.
Valerie shook her head and hugged him, burrying her face on his chest.
“Let’s just stay like this for the rest of the day” She mumbled.
Jeffrey smiled and pulled her closer. She looked up at him and then at his lips. Jeffrey got the signal and leaned, their lips collided in for a melting kiss.

Leroy walked out of the bathroom, dabbing his wet hair with a towel. He was only wearing a pj trouser.
He stopped cleaning his hair when he saw Alecia still sleeping on the bed and he smiled walking to her.
He stared at her sleeping face. He has always knew she was beautiful, but she looked more beautiful right now. How her delicate lashes hugged each other and her calm snores were soothing to his ears.
He leaned closer and gently brushed a strand of hair off her face and her lashes fluttered open. Their eyes locked with no one attempting to break it.
“You’re beautiful.” Leroy said after a long silence and Alecia blinked her eyes.
She suddenly rolled away from him and stood on her feet, panting heavily like she had just run a marathon.
“What are you up to??” She asked immediately, touching her chest and he chuckled.
“Good morning.” He greeted instead of replying her and that made her furrowed her brows, finding that act of his strange.
“What? Why are you being nice today??” She asked and Leroy chuckled again.
“I’ve always been nice unless you didn’t notice. Anyways, I made your bath. Hurry and come down for breakfast.” He winked, before going to his closet.
Alecia just stood where she was staring at his back.
“Seems like you wanna watch me change. I have no issue with it, after all you’re my wife, now get yourself a chair while I–”
“Hey!!” Alecia immediately turned her back on him as he made to loosen the towel around his waist.
Leroy chuckled.
“What?? Are you shy? Not like you haven’t seen it before…”
“Shut up!! Aishh!!!” She yelled, rushing into the bathroom completely embarrassed.
She slammed the door harshly and rested her back on it, touching her racing heart.
She rubbed her red cheeks still panting. Why was he acting all sweet??
She expected him to comeback for her after what she did to him but here he was, acting all sweet.
“Ah! This is driving me crazy. Mom.” She muttered.

June got down from her car and began walking into her school. She smiled when she saw Fawn at the other end, and he waved at her.
She waved back, still smiling. He began walking to her and she held the straps of her bag tightly.
She changed completely, unlike before when she used to be bold and confident in front of him, now she was always nervous and shy before him.
“Hey.” Fawn said, immediately he got to her and she smiled.
“Hi…” She said aloud but her voice disappointed her, as it came out in a whisper.
Fawn chuckled and she flushed shyly.
“You’re just coming??” She asked and he shook her head negatively.
“No. I’ve been here since, waiting for someone.” He said and she mouthed an ‘O’.
“Alright, I’ll… I’ll leave you now then. See you in class.” She said and made to leave but his next word stopped her.
“You don’t need wanna leave coz the person I’m waiting for is already here.” He said and she looked around.
“Who??” She asked and Fawn held her hand and stared at her with a smile.
“Let’s go.” He said and began walking to LH with her.
June blinked her eyes, staring at his back head as he took her to the class. A wide smile spread on her lips as they walked to together.
Fawn was also smiling.
Thanks to Paisley, she had become very much close to him and she couldn’t be more than happy.
Tho, he said they were only friends, but then she kept on loving him despite that. She wasn’t trying to be selfish but she couldn’t help it.
She just hopes nothing break their bond, even tho he doesn’t reciprocate her feelings, she was happy with just being his friend.
She smiled widely, pressing tightly on his hand.
The students whom they passed on their way, won’t stop staring and gushing.
They got to their LH and took the front seat. The students in there also couldn’t stop gushing at them.
Paisley wasn’t in school. No one was sure if she was gonna return or not, but they all wished she doesn’t.
Ashley sighed looking at the couples.
It was obvious June wasn’t meant for him, so he was simply gonna let her be with him, that was the sacrifice he had to pay for loving her.
The lecturer walked in, and the class kicked off in soonest.

Giovanni walked into the restaurant with his secretary, Flynn.
He met Derek who was in his disguise as Mr Wood’s right hand man, waiting for him.
Immediately Giovanni got to his table, Derek stood up and they shook hands.
“Welcome Mr Giovanni Zhang.” He greeted with his usual mischievous smile.
“Thanks Mr Clark. Hope I didn’t keep you waiting??” He said as he sat down and Derek nodded with a smile.
“Yeah you actually did. But I’m not upset, after all, the outcome is worth the wait.” He smirked and Giovanni only nodded.
“Here, I ordered wine. Have a taste.” He nudged and Giovanni nodded.
Flynn poured a good quantity on his glass, and handed it over to him.
“I also need some, mine is finished.” Derek said, showing him his glass and Flynn nodded and began pouring the wine in his glass when Derek intentionally shook the glass and the wine spilled on Flynn’s suit.
“Damnit! I apologize for this mistake. You should go get it cleaned.” Derek suggested.
“Go to the restroom Flynn.” Giovanni nudged and Flynn nodded before taking his leave.
“I’m sorry about that.” Derek said.
“Not to worry. The document.” He requested and Derek nodded.
“Oh, sure. Here.” He passed the document to Giovanni who collected the papers and began going through it.
Derek watched him keenly.
‘He’s surely gonna read the document, and when he does, we go with plan B.’ He smirked inwardly still looking at him.
Giovanni signed on the first page after reading it thoroughly before turning to the next. He began reading it when Derek instigated a talk.
At first, he was uninterested in what he was saying but as he kept on speaking, he got carried away, and signed all the pages of the document without reading it all.
Derek smiled at the mission successful.
“Done.” Giovanni said closing the document and handing it back to Derek.
“Yes. Thank you so much for this. And now, it’s a contract success. Congratulations.” Derek said, extending his hand for a handshake and Flynn arrived just then.
They exchanged pleasantries, before Giovanni left.
Derek smiled and began going through the document, before he saw that which he was looking for…
The transfer of property document. It was saying that Giovanni signed all his wealth and assets, to him… Derek Sanchéz.
He was excited. Now, Madison could get her revenge without any hindrance coz the Zhang’s are now powerless.
He smirked.

Alecia arrived quite earlier from today’s shoot. But that wasn’t the case, she was surprised to meet Leroy at home, and what shocked her the most was the decoration in the living room.
Beautiful red flowers and red hearts were used to design the living room.
She smiled gushing at it.
Her phone suddenly dinged and she checked it, it was a message from Leroy.
*MEET ME AT THE BALCONY*
It read. She didn’t waste a single second before rushing there.
A gasp escaped her lips on getting there. Beautiful red flowers was on the floor and red and white balloons on the floor. Beautiful red heart shaped hung around and standing in the middle was Leroy with a bouquet of flowers.
Alecia stood transfixed on the spot as she stared in awe. Leroy smiled walking to her.
“Hey.” He called.
“Leroy… What’s–”
“Well, I thought it was time I said this.” He said and Alecia looked at him, curiously.
Although, she already had an idea of what he was about to say, still…
“I… I didn’t know I’ll have to say this again, even tho I would, I wasn’t expecting it to be soon… After what happened with Glenys… I never thought I’d end up falling in love again but it changed the moment you came into my life Alecia.” He started and Alecia gulped down nervously.
Her heart thumping loudly in her chest as she stared at him, anxiously.
Leroy pressed his lips together before he continued.
“You gave me a reason to smile again, honestly, I never thought I’d ever get to smile again. I was gonna lock my heart forever but you made that impossible. Every moment I spent with you, are the best memories of my life. Whenever you’re beside me, I feel unlimited happiness within me. The thought of waking up to see your face every morning has the best thoughts I’ve ever had. The feeling of you wrapped around my arms are the best feeling ever Alecia. I don’t wanna ever lose you, because…”
“Because I love you…” He confessed.
Alecia’s mouth fell as he finally said those words.
Her eyes suddenly became teary as she stared at him, feeling emotional.
The joy she felt hearing him confesses his love so sweetly was giving her butterflies.
“I love you Alecia.” He said again, and the tears finally fell off Alecia’s eyes.
They were still maintaining the eye lock, as he talked.
Leroy placed the bouquet in her hand and he took her other hand in his, rubbing his thumb on her knuckles tenderly as he looked at her face.
He chuckled lowly, at the look on her face. It was obvious he had made her speechless.
He wiped the tears rolling down her cheek and smiled.
“No, you’re not gonna cry today.” He said and she covered her mouth with her left palms.
“Are you really serious??” She muttered.
“I can never be more serious about this. I took my time to think this through to realize it is love. I literally can’t go about with my daily activities without one or two thoughts about you crossing my mind. I can’t help to see you in pain. I get mad when you’re been hurt. I could go mad at a slightest pain you feel. And whenever you’re happy, I find my happiness. I never felt this when I was with Glenys, it’s only you Alecia– I love you!” He said and Alecia blinked.
“Kiss me.” She said in a low tone and Leroy was kinda taken aback.
“Uhm–”
She slammed her lips on his lips before he could say anything. He reciprocated the lips immediately.
His head tilted to the side, and his thumb rubbed on her cheek as he kissed her.
Her free hand was working magic on his hair as she kissed him, it was a rough passionate kiss.
They broke the kiss shortly and Alecia stared at him.
“I love you too Leroy! More than you can ever imagine!” She confessed and Leroy chuckled before claiming her lips back in his, kissing her slowly.
Her eyes closed immediately as she kissed him back.
Unlike the first time, this time it was a slow and affectionate kiss. She could hear their hearts beating together, as one.

“Baby!” Valerie waved.
“Aunt Valerie!!!!” Leo squealed rushing to her, and Valerie immediately squatted to his level and welcomed him to a warm embrace.
“My baby.” She said ruffling his hair as she hugged him tightly.
“I missed you aunt Valerie.” He said still in her arms and she smiled.
“Me too baby.” She said and Leo smiled.
He suddenly broke the hug, and looked up at Valerie.
“Guess what Aunt Valerie??” He said and Valerie sighed.
“I really am not good at guessing.” She said and he pouted.
“Just try aunt, please.” He gave her that irresistible puppy eyes and she sighed in defeat.
“Fine… You passed a test or something??” She said and he yelled.
“Yes! How do you know??” He asked and Valerie shrugged.
“I just guessed as you said.” She defended and he smiled.
“Yes Aunt. I got the highest in my elementary science test. I finally beat that proud peacock who thinks she’s unbeatable.” He said, folding his arms with a frown and Valerie chuckled.
“Nice job. You deserve a pat on the back.” Valerie said, patting his back and he smiled.
“Aunt, where are we going today??” Leo asked and Valerie squatted again, touching his cheek.
“Anywhere you want. That’s your prize for topping your elementary test.” She said and Leo smiled.
“Yes!! Let’s go!!” He said and was about opening Valerie’s car door.
“And who’s going without me??” Someone said from behind and the two turned to the voice.
“Dad!!!” Leo rushed to him, and Jeffrey carried him in his arms.
“Yo boy! How’re you doing??” He asked and Leo smiled.
“I’m fine dad.” Leo said, wrapping his hand around his neck.
“So you both were planning to leave without me, huh?” Jeffrey said as he walked towards Valerie.
“I thought you would be busy with work.” Valerie said.
“Really?? Did you ask?–”
“C’mon dad. Now you’re here, the three of us can just go together.” Leo said and Jeffrey smiled.
“That’s my boy. Kian, take my car home. I’ll go with them. Let’s go.” He nudged and Leo smiled.
He opened the car’s back door and placed Leo, then he opened the front door and nudged at Valerie to get in.
She smiled before entering the car.
“Thanks.” She muttered and Jeffrey smiled.
“Always welcome.” He said and closed the door.
Then he walked over to the driver’s seat and he got in. In less than two minutes, the car was out of the vicinity.

“Who- hoo!!!” Leo giggled in excitement as he went explored the merry-go-round.
Valerie and Jeffrey stood back, watching him with smiles on their faces.
“He grew so much.” Valerie said and Jeffrey smiled.
“Yeah he did. And he’s jovial, just like his mom.” Jeffrey said and looked at her, Valerie looked at him as well.
She smiled before looking back at Leo.
“You still haven’t told me why you’re answering Zhang Mister.” She smirked and and he chuckled.
“I haven’t??” He feigned ignorance.
“No you haven’t Theo Sanchéz.” She called his full name and he smiled.
“Seriously?? How many names are you bearing? Jeffrey, Theo, Sanchéz, Zhang, ugh!” She sighed.
“Muffin.” He suddenly said and she looked at him.
“You forgot to add muffin. It’s also my name, given to me by someone.” He said, staring directly into her eyes.
“By who?” She asked as tho she didn’t know.
“The first and last letter of muffin, forms her name.” He said, still not breaking the eye contact.
Valerie cheeks turned red, and she immediately looked away from him shyly.
“I don’t know who you’re talking about.” She said, looking everywhere, except him.
“Your eyes says a different thing, cookies.” He said and Valerie turned to him, blushing very hard.
She hit his chest, before burying her face on it.
She loves it so much when he calls her cookies and after a long time, he was calling her that again.
Jeffrey laughed, wrapping his hand on her waist, while he stroked her hair.
“Au-” Leo paused when he saw the two of them.
He smiled widely, excited.
Secretly he wished, Valerie was his mom. He doesn’t know if that was gonna happen but he was gonna make sure he asks his class teacher if his aunt can become his mom.
He brushed his hair backwards, feeling proud of himself.

The three walked into the mansion smiling broadly with Leo holding the two’s hand.
The smile on their face fell immediately they opened the door and met with the least person they expected.

She was sitting regally on a couch, with her legs crossed on each other.
“Welcome home Jeffrey… Lerie and Leo.” Evie said, counting on her words, smirking.
Jeffrey and Valerie exchanged glances.
They never expected her return.
Her eyes went to thier interlocked hands and she chuckled. Even a stupid person could tell it wasn’t a genuine laugh.
It was evil.
