EPISODE 95
“Hmm… I promise, honey. I will not” Brina answered, as she ru-bbed her cheek on his che-st. Louis ki-ssed her li-ps.
Soon, their sensual, pas-sionate ki-ss morphed into a hungry, fast paced one.
And, after god knows when, they finally took a breath, parting from each other.
With her heavy pa-nting voice, Brina asked, “Don’t you want to listen to what my plan is?” She was all excited like a little kid that Louis couldn’t say no.
He continued brushing her hair as he looked into her eyes, those greyish black orbs, full of de-ep emotions.
He couldn’t help but plant a sounding ki-ss on her forehead. Hr wrapped themselves warmly in the duvet and affectionately answered, “Of course I want to know my baby’s plan.”
After a few minutes…
“That’s really a good plan, baby. I often wonder why my girlfriend is so brilliant. And, thank God, you figured out Olivia’s scheme” Louis proudly said, after listening to her plan.
He is truly amazed. He didn’t expect Brina to have such a ln exception insight. Though he knows that she is amazing, she always tend to suprise him.
Meanwhile, Brina giggled. She could see that proudness in his eyes and it made her extremely happy.
“However, I still can’t believe my grandmother would do something like this” Louis huffed when he remembered what happened.
“I am not yet sure if she is the one who helped Olivia. Don’t jump into conclusions so soon” Brina said, interuppting him.
“Baby, who will have audacity to tamper the selection process? Only the most powerful can do it and who is powerful enough, if not the oldie” Louis gritted.
He never liked his grandmother.
“Don’t be angry, honey. And, please don’t get involved in this. I will take care of both Olivia and her accomplice” Brina said, ki-ssing his chin.
Though Louis is reluctant to agree, he could only nod his head. If he don’t let her do as per her liking, it will look as if he is not yet sure of her potential. But, he trust’s her more than he trust himself.
“Hmm. I will not interfere” Louis answered.
“However, on one condition. You should not risk yourself” he told her.
“I already promised, didn’t I? Trust me, I will not make you worry again.” Brina smiled.
After that they shared a brief ki-ss and soon silence took over them. However, their love still lingered in air.
“Baby, did reports come?” Louis asked all of sudden.
He just remembered that it is connected to her plan.
“Yep. Eliina called me to inform her about it, earlier” Brina said.
“And, the results came positive. All the three samples from each of the last three days, showed that the horse was drugged and it had indeed affected the performance and mental stability of the horse on competiton day”
“In addition to it, the blood sample taken after the accident showed that it is drug free. It means someone gave it an antidote” Brina said. “Which strengthens the suspicion”
“Yep. That’s a good news. So, all we had to do is wait till the other report will come” Louis said.
This other report is the one which is ordered by King Edgar.
…..
The next day.
“Your Highness, the result came negative. Horse was in good condition during the event” the chief of security politely said.
They are now in the Royal Court and every leader of the Noble houses are present.
“Hmm. You can go” King Edgar said as he took the report and studied it.
So, Brina really lost because on her own! There was no sabotage. Now, it sends her to the last but one position.
Hearing it, Charlotte’s parents and Queen Elora are very disappointed.
They thought she would make it in the first two places! And, they couldn’t help but pitifully look at Louis who was sitting there with a poker face.
It seems like he already knows this would happen.
Moreover, Brina said this would happen. It was after all her plan.
….
After noon…
King Edgar completed his court sessions and he went back to his personal chambers. He asked his guards to inform everyone about the report’s result and he just returned.
‘I almost thought Brina would be a potential candidate.’ he thought. As he really doesn’t know much about Brina, there was nothing he could do but judge her according to lab reports.
Meanwhile..
All in sudden, surprising him, his little Princess came to visit him.
And, it made him very ecstatic when he heard that his daughter is here.
Recently, he was very busy and didn’t get much time to spend with his daughter, Eliina.
“Princess, thank God you remember your father” he joked, as he affectionately hu-gged her and ruffled her hair.
“You were busy, papa. So, I didn’t want to bother you. However, after finding out that the report came negative, I got curious” Eliina said, right away bringing up the topic.
“Uh huh. Yes, the report came negative. What about it?” King Edgar asked his daughter, slightly sad that she isn’t here to spend with him.
“Dad, as you know I make a discreet health check-up for the horses which come un-der my responsibility. Likewise, even Lady Brina’s horse came un-der mine and the check up was not done too long back. The results came yesterday and I found out that her horse is indeed drugged” Eliina told, dropping the bomb.
“What? Are you sure, Elle?” King Edgar asked, totally alerted by what his daughter just said.
He didn’t expect the truth to come from this way.
“I am very sure, papa. I have made check ups continuously for the last three days. Here, these are the reports” Eliina handed him the file.
Her sister in law, Brina asked her to do this.
Brina knows that Olivia and Queen mother Greta would be monitoring the situation very strictly so that truth will come out.
However, they wouldn’t have expected that the evidence will directly reach the King via someone who has zero involvement in the issue.
That was totally uncalled for them to predict.
Moreover, Brina doesn’t want her involvement to come into light. So, she could only ask Eliina to do this.
And, this is also the best and only way because Queen mother Greta and Olivia would not know about this to stop it beforehand.
“Ahh. You are true.” King Edgar said, after examining the results.
“This just makes everything more complicated. Who would have audacity to do this and to whom have they targeted this?” King Edgar questioned himself, his eyes narrowed.
“Papa, I think it had to be someone from the eight ladies. No one except them has come into the stables in the last four days” Eliina said.
“So, you think one of them wanted to sabotage Brina? Just because she came first in the starting event?” Kind Edgar asked. He really wanted to check on how mature his daughter has become.
“Papa, I think there are two possibilities. One, someone from inside helped this mysterious saboteur to tamper with the selection process and target Brina.”
“Second, there might not be a specific target and they just wanted to create trouble” Eliina said.
As Brina doesn’t want Olivia to get caught, Eliina made sure not to give her thoughts away.
“You have grown up, Princess. I am very proud of you.” King Edgar proudly praised his daughter as he affectionately brushed her hair.
“And, don’t worry about all these matters. Concentrate on your final exams, got it? You should become the Laureate of Alpha Academy just like your brother’s.”
“I will take care of other matters, Princess. Don’t get involved more, all right. Things might get more complicated and there are also high chances that rebellion might be the cause of these disturbances. So, I don’t want my precious daughter to get involved till we find out who did this and why they did it and who have helped them from inside” King Edgar seriously said.
Eliina nodded her head.
She knows who did this. It is Olivia.
And why did Olivia do it? It’s because she wants to become the Queen.
For, who helped her from inside, it’s Queen mother Greta herself.
And, why did Queen mother help Olivia?
That was the thing that had to come into the light.
Brina already told her that this will slowly reveal Queen mother’s misdeeds.

Meanwhile, Olivia’s happiness didn’t last long when this incredulous news came out.
They found evidence that Horse is drugged! In addition to this, the reports are so detailed and crystal clear to prove wrong!
“Ahh… who the f*¢k gathered the blood samples of the horses on this three consecutive days? And, how on earth did we miss this??” Olivia screamed as she started smashing all the dishes on the table.
They were having a sumptuous dinner and it just got ruined with this.
“Si….sist..sister, yo..you got a…a ca..call from-” Olive, Olivia’s younger sister was about to say something but Olivia cut it off, with her fierce gaze.
Olive shivered however, with the last ounce of strength she had, she handed the mobile and ran away.
Who knows what this witch would do if she gets infuriated more than this?
She might even strangle her own sister!!
Olivia clenched her fist, almost ripping apart her skirt which was resting on her ti-ght.
The call is from none other than her maternal grandfather. It seems like he has found out that her plan has failed.
News indeed reaches him fas-ter than anyone.
Although he is in another Kingdom, strategizing his plan with rebellions, he has more than enough power in the palace and Kingdom Aletros.
Olivia’s eyes blurred, not with the sad tears but with the bitter tears, the tears which depicts her anger and the raging fire in her heart.
However, gulping all the fury and ill humor that was surging up, she pressed the answer bu-tton.
And, the very next minute a high pitched, fuming and exasperated roars pierced her ear drums.
Olivia instantly distanced her phone from her ear, letting the old man curse her, scold her and blame her for how much ever he wanted.
The first wave of his anger subsided after hurling out some curses at her. His blood pressure was in peeks!!
And, after Olivia sensed that he calmed down, she spoke.
“Grandfather, I truly didn’t leave any traces. I… I don’t… I don’t know how.. how it happened”
She stuttered on her last sentence knowing very well that these words are a taboo to her grandfather.
He hate it when someone says, ‘I don’t know’
“You stupid, impotent fool! You are a shame to my upbringing. All my effort to nurture you as my weapon, seems to be nothing but a pure failure” he scoffed.
“You were not even able to carry out a simple task and how can you expect me to put my trust on you to bring the Royal family down?”
“You got defeated in the very first event and later in the second event, you couldn’t even stop others from seeing throu-ghyour plan!”
“What a waste!!!” he spit out in pure hatred.
However, Olivia maintained her silence, guilt, anger, helplessness eating her alive.
“What the hell will you do if those evidence glaringly point at you? All my efforts to make you a Queen will go wasted! Rebellions agreed to make me their ally just because I promised them that I can control the throne.Now, what should I answer them, huh??” her grandfather fired out again.
“I shouldn’t have trusted you to make your own plan. I should have asked someone more capable to execute it without any flaws. However, I thought you can manage such trivial matters. But you disappointed me, Olivia. Get ready t-” he got cut off when Olivia hurriedly interjected.
No…
No… she doesn’t want to face the same misery as what her impotent cousin’s have faced and are still facing.
She clenched her fists again but she couldn’t retaliate back. She knew that she was just a pawn in her grandfather’s political game.
But a powerful pawn who has an important role to play.
“Grandfather, please don’t un-derestimate me. I had to change my plan at the last minute because a fly had escaped my clutches. In order to get that fly captured again, I might have made some mistakes. Please give me a cha-” Olivia is about to bed but her grandfather laughed.
A creepy yet extremely dangerous laugh which can make a person die just by listening to it.
It is that horrendous!
She knows he is not interested in her explanation. He just wants some fruitful results, no matter how much she suffers or she risks her life to do it.
“Grandfather… grandfather, please, please listen. I had a backup plan if this one failed. I can clean the mess I have made. Please give me a day… please, I beg you.” Olivia pleaded. She is truly afraid and frightened to her wits.
“Hmm. A day it is, then. If you fail in it, you better pack all your bags and be ready” he warned, before ending the call.
