EPISODE 83
“She is an ally from now onwards.” Brina answered, smiling back.
“Hey, people seem impressed too. Even the press is excited to interview you, but they aren’t allowed, actually. Your boyfriend didn’t give them that liberty.” Charlotte said, clapping her hands.
Only one event has been finished and Brina has already got herself a good place among the scores.
…..
Soon, the evening pas-sed by and Brina finished cooking as well.
From the day she arrived, she hasn’t been to a dinner place. She used to cook for herself and Louis.
Meanwhile, Louis also arrived at her suite too. Like always, he used the secret chambers to come.
“Here is my winner, hmm.” he chuckled and instantly hu-gged her from behind.
He bit her ne-ck and suc-ked on it. However, when the delicious smell from the dishes wafted throu-ghhis nose, he looked at what his girl was cooking.
“My favorite dishes.” he commented and looked at Brina. “But, baby, I want my favorite dessert.” he pouted.
“And, what’s your favorite dessert?” Brina asked.
“You. Your li-ps, your ne-ck, your cleavage, your br-” he is about to continue but Brina stopped him with her soft li-ps.
“Let’s have dinner first!” she said, her face flushed red.
He is becoming more shameless day by day!!
And, she knows that he is resisting too much of himself as well.
Meanwhile, Brina’s eyes fell on the champagne bottle that he brou-ght.
“Are we celebr@ting, honey?” Brina asked.
It’s just a simple victory.
However, Louis is feeling as if she has won all the competition. It gushed her heart with warmth and love.
He truly knows how to make her happy.
“Of course it’s celebr@tion time, baby. You have shut the mouth of all the people who have belittled you earlier.” Louis praised his babygirl and carried her to the table, as he made her sit on the chair.
Later he brou-ght all the dishes to the table and took two champagne glas-ses he brou-ght from his cellar.
He served the food for both of them and filled the glas-ses.
“For your first victory.” Louis toasted and Brina smiled.
“No, it’s for our victory.” she said, and they clinked their glas-s.
With their love, warming their heart, and the beautiful nature surrounding them, they totally felt blissful.
Soon, they finished their dinner and lazed around on the couch, hu-gging each other.
A random movie is being played but none of them were concentrating on it.
“Baby.” Louis called.
“Hmm.” Brina hummed, her eyes are already getting hooded.
She is tired and exhausted.
Louis was about to ask her something but after noticing that Brina is sleepy, he restrained himself.
“Let’s sleep.” he said.
…..
At midnight…
Brina woke up startled when she felt her phone vibr@ting on the bedside table.
Louis has his arms wound around her wai-st and his head is buried in her che-st. He is sleeping peacefully like a baby.
A smile bloomed on Brina’s flushed face and she peeked at her phone without disturbing Louis.
Soon, her heart skipped a beat when she realised that it is Remus, her ex best friend who is now in charge of taking care of her cousin Will.
Her heart started accelerating and her anxiety flared up. Slowly yet carefully, Brina wriggled out of his grip and sli-pped into the attached balcony.
“Remus, what happened?” Brina asked in a hurry as soon as she answered the call.
“Nothing important, babe. Just called” he chuckled.
Brina gritted her teeth. “So, Will is fine? Then, why did you call??” she asked, trying ha-rd not to flare up.
“Am I not even allowed to call my friend?” he asked, enjoying the conversation.
“F*** you. I am not your friend” Brina snapped at him.
“Cool down, my platinum. I just called to congratulate you on your winning” Remus chuckled.
“All those sailing clas-ses from Seth and Nick didn’t go in vain…huh”
Brina almost clenched her fist when he mentioned Nickolas. However, it was really Nickolas who insisted to learn sailing.
Brina was about to interject but he cut her off,
“You nailed it, girl. Have you seen Olivia’s face and her father’s face, it was too hilarious” he laughed. “The last trick you used was indeed a good one. Got Olivia and her team surprised. ”
“It’s a shame that no one was allowed to take pictures or videos. Your boyfriend indeed upheld his power well, otherwise I would have sent you the video” he told her in the call.
Brina was surprised and she couldn’t help but ask, “You were there? How do you know everything pin pointedly?”
“I was there. I saw everything” Remus said.
“Why? Weren’t you the busy one of all?” Brina mocked.
“Don’t think too much, lolli-pop. I haven’t specifically come to see your first competition. It is not important enough for me to personally see it” Remus said.
Brina scoffed. “So, what made you come? What’s so important that you travelled around just to visit this place?” she sarcastically asked.
“I came to meet my girlfriend who just happened to present in Kingdom Aletros now” Remus said.
“You and Nicci reconciled?” Brina asked in surprise.
“You think so?” Remus asked, giving a slight sm-irk. But there was a hint of sadness in his voice which vanished as soon as it popped up.
“It’s my new girlfriend,” he added.
“Just like you got a new boyfriend” there is a mockery in his tone, which Brina ignored.
“Who is that most unlucky girl?” Brina asked, her words sharp like an edge of a knife.
“Someone ordinary compared to your Prince. Not as great as you either. Simple, normal and good” he said.
Brina rolled her eyes.
“Whatever! I just want you to take care of my nephew well” Brina said.
“I will. Seth is like a brother to me as well” Remus said and before he could continue, Brina cut the call.
Later, she peeked into her bedroom and noticed Louis still sleeping. His face looked very peaceful and relaxed.
Subconsciously, her li-ps curled up into s smile and she continued staring at him from the balcony.
Later, after fidgeting whether to call or not, she made a call to Harry.
Harry, Rhianna and Luke are now in the States, with Natalie and Leo.
Natalie is still taking her treatment.
Not because of her suicide attempt but for her mental health.
She was a delicate and fragile person from the beginning that she couldn’t take the heartbreak when Leo left her.
Her condition is getting improved, albeit rather slowly.
As Natalie’s friend, Brina is of course concerned for her.
“Brina, how are you? And, congratulations by the way. Hailey told Luke about everything. We are happy for you” Harry said.
“I am fine, brother. I just called to ask how Natalie is” Brina said.
“After Leo came, she is getting better. We would have lost her if he would have arrived little late” Harry answered.
“Glad to hear that she is okay. Take care of her properly” Brina said.
She is about to end the call but Leo who.was sitting beside Harry gestured to him to pas-s the phone.
When Leo found out that Brina is also Harry’s sister and the ex CEO of S & S corporations, he was shocked.
Though he hadn’t met her, he had talked with her on the phone a few times, about company matters.
She was a very powerful and effective CEO.
There must be a strong reason why she left everything and decided to live a normal life. Now, because of his selfishness, she stepped out of her comfort zone.
It made him guilty.
So, he wanted to apologise to her.
“Sis, Ethan wants to talk to you,” Harry informed Brina before handing over the phone to Leo.
Brina’s eyes turned cold…. emitting the murderous aura that would make a person shiver to their core.
It’s not that she is angry at Ethan for causing this.
She is angry at him for having selfish intentions. It irked her whenever she remembered how Ethan betrayed his brotherhood with Louis.
Ethan’s decision to elope with Natalie wasn’t any resolution he took at the heat of the moment. Even before he got for-ced to leave due to Natalie’s sucide attempt, he had a long committed plan to sli-p away from his Royal life.
And that was the exact reason why he hadn’t told Louis about his lover, Natalie. He was afraid that his brother, Louis would see throu-ghhis intentions and stop him from eloping.
That was the sole purpose of Ethan in acting as if he was fine with his fiancée Olivia. He has long, long back decided to leave and shift all his responsibilities on Louis.
Ethan used his brother as nothing but a shield to protect his love. However, he was cruel enough to for-ce Louis into the corner, even after knowing that his brother is in a serious relationship too.
To protect his love, he threw his brother’s love into a hell fire.
Not that she blames…
She is just angry that Ethan did everything even after knowing how much his brother, Edward detested Royal life.
Though Ethan was aware that he had to accept a court marriage, he still dared to love a girl… hurt her to this extent.
She is selfish and cynical.
When Brina remembered all these, she lost her cool self to speak with Ethan. Though she un-derstood his situation, she was not able to cool down her anger.
She just ended the call and switched her phone off. It’s better not to show how terrifying she will be if she is angry.
Sighing, she mas-saged the space between her eyebrows and took a de-ep breath.
Later, she returned back to sleep but Louis was sitting on the bed, pouting like an adorable baby whose sleep got ruined because of the absence of his soft toy.
And that’s it… her foul morphed into a sweet one.
Louis is a fli-p, controlling her moods. If he is away, she gets sad, angry and impatient. When he is in front of her eyes, she will be happy, lively and peaceful.
“Aww… what happened to my baby, now?” Brina asked, as she walked to him and sat down on his lap.
As soon as she did that, Louis buried his face in her ne-ck and bit her ha-rd on her sen-sitive skin. Due to that abrupt yet pleasurable pain, a M0-n threatened to escape her li-ps but Brina controlled it by bi-ting her lower li-p ha-rd.
“Whenever I wake up, you wouldn’t be there beside me!!! During our time apart from each other, I had enough nightmares of losing you. So, please don’t leave me at night, abruptly like this. My heart almost stopped when I found an empty space beside me” Louis said, his vulnerable eyes boring into her hazel eyes.
Brina could relate that to her situation too. On his birthday day, she woke up with an empty space beside her and that was the last time she saw him before their lives had drastically changed.
“I am sorry, baby. I had to talk to Harry…so” she apologised. Her voice dripping with honey…. but also sad.
“Are Ethan and Natalie with them? How is she right now?” he anxiously asked.
If he claimed that he isn’t angry at his brother, he would be lying.
But, at the end of the day, they are still brothers and they do care for each other.
“I hope they got married,” Louis said, ti-ghtening his arms around Brina.
“Yep, they are in the States, with Harry and Rhianna. She is recu-perating…”
“However, they signed their marriage certificates. It happened on the very same day he eloped. That was the first thing he did” Brina told her boyfriend.
Louis nodded his head. “So, we are next in line,” he chuckled.
Truth to be told, he doesn’t want his girlfriend to be sad right now. During their time together, he is adamant to make her happy.
“I am looking forward to our wedding night, more than our marriage” he said, giving a shameless smile.
Brina flushed and smacked his arm. “How can you just go back to that very topic, no matter what we are discussing? Don’t you think anything else than that?” Brina asked, straddling him.
“Of course, I do think many things other than these!” Louis said.
“Such as?” Brina questioned.
“Such as, our first honeymoon, our second honeymoon….soooo onnn” he said, ba-rely controlling his laughter.
His crescent eyes twinkling like bright stars of the dark nights.
“Ahh…so shameless” Brina deadpanned, however her smile said otherwise. As soon as she said that, laughter bloomed in the room,as they stumbled on to the bed, teasing each other.
