“Mum… Did you hear about it,,, alre-ady? That was so quic-k” Scarlett chuckled, nervously.
“And I actually wanted to let you know first” She added, watching her mother chvgging down a mug of water.
Her mother finally finished the content, inhaled de-eply and turned around.
Her cold face alone terrified and sh0t bullets at Scarlett who had let an instant g@sp from her p@rtedl-ips.
Marie sat on the sofa and tapped the other free space, beckoning Scarlett to sit close to her.
Samantha sat at the opposite sofa watching them.
Scarlett swallowed nothing down and throat and sat down. She looked at her mother and they both shared a long stare.
“Mum-
“Scarlett. Didn’t you promise me!” Her mother suddenly yelled, cutting her off, r0Ă»ghly.
“Mum,, Its not my fault. I can-
“You promised… You promised me you certainly wouldn’t bully anyone ever again. You told me you’ve changed!”
“And Yes,,, Yes…I’ve changed” Scarlett nodded.
“Indeed, I can see that! I guess the taekwondo you do nowadays is ma-king you feel too big, huh?”
“Mum. I had my reason this this time. I swear. I don’t bully people anymore. I’ve changed. Ever since I bullied Jenna,, I made a promise never to intimid@tÂŁ or hurt anyone for no reason again. Trust me, I had my reason this time around. You can ask Jenna”
“Then,,, What did I hear from the principal today? She called me and clearly said you bullied a girl who c@mÂŁ from a rich home” Marie said.
“I thought you’ve really repented. Your name has appeared in the black book again. This is the 19th time. The next time you bully again,, You know you’re gonna be expelled. Do you want me ridiculed??”
Scarlett sighed.
“No mum. This rich girl is to be blamed. Its her fault. I had my reason for doing that to her”
“What was the reason!! Or am I not enough reason for you not to waver! Am I not?? Am I not enough reason! Am i not trying enough?? Am I?” Marie cried.

“Mummm” Scarlett muttered.
“Mum. Its okay..plea-se” Samantha said, and Marie wiped her tears.
“Her parents wants her settlement. They said you nearly killed her! Goodness, go dress up. We are going to her place now!”
“No,,, plea-se” Scarlett shook her head.
“Listen to me alre-ady! I’m trying to avoid implications and create peace. Don’t you get it?”
Scarlett breathed de-eply and stood up. She went into her room and changed her shi-t.
“Let’s go” Scarlett muttered, and walked out with her mother.
She did recalled what exactly happened.
Flashback**
Lunch hour, school eatery**
Scarlett and her friend, Jenna were eating lunch when they heard an annoying scream.
They looked up to see a nerd girl, kneeling down, begging the other girl who had screamed in anger earlier on.
“Hey! Are you blind?” The girl, Belle asked kicking the nerd girl.
“I’m sorry” The nerd whispered.
“What’s happening?” Jenna asked the person sitting behind her.
“Oh,,, The nerd tr!ppÂŁdand mistakenly poured soup on Belle’s shoe” The person replied.
“Oh” Jenna sighed.
“Hey,,, Hey,,, Aiish! Scarlett,,, did you hear that?” Jenna asked.
Scarlett ate a spoonful of meal and shook her head.
“I really wish I did”
“You are so nonchalant” Jenna crooked herl-ips in annoyance.
“You who-re! How dare you!” Belle fumed.
“I’m sorry. I never meant it. Besides, you were the one who placed your leg out for me suddenly and I ended up tripping cause of it”
“What? What did you just say? Accusing me of such stupidity!” Belle snarled, and sl@pped the nerd.
“Oww” She m0@n ed.
“Are you saying i purposely allowed myself get publicly humiliated! What a joke! You must pay!!”
“I’m sorry. I’ll clean your shoes…Better still, I would buy you a new one” The nerd shivered.
“Did I tell you I can’t do all those myself?” Belle hissed.
“I’m wealthy in case you don’t know, You freaky slut!”
“Then, what do you want me to do??”
“Now, you are talking” Belle sm-irked.
“My shoe” Belle brou-ght her foot out.
“Huh?”
“li-ck my shoe till it’s dry”
“What’s going on? Why is no one doing anything? Even the teachers and kitchen staffs??” Jenna asked, looking around.
“Why else? Its obvious. She’s rich, has connections and influence. Nob©dy would like to caution or t©uçh her or they want to regret being born” Scarlett answered, still eating.
“You are really unbothered about this whole scenario, Scarlett” Jenna said, and she only shrugged her shoulders.
“Unbelievable” Jenna sighed.
“li-ck your shoes dry? How do you expect it to be dry-
“You still talking!” Belle shouted, and kicked the nerdl-ips which had a cut, immediately.
“I don’t care how you do it! li-ck it dry!!’
“It isn’t fair. She shouldn’t be doing this cause she’s wealthy and powerful” Jenna said, almost standing up.
“Stay out of it, Jenna” Scarlett quic-kly held her.
Jenna inhaled de-eply.
“She’s rich so why does she have to attend our school and then come here to make a fuss. So annnoying”
“I hear it cause her b©yfriÂŁndattends here. She simply followed him” Scarlett scoffed.
They both turned to see the nerd l!çk!ng Belle’s shoes. Her two friends were laughing and pointing at the nerd, and even taking pictures.
Few others laughed as well.
“Now no boy would like to k!ssthatl-ips anymore,,, harlot” Belle glared, smiling wickedly.
“I’m done with my lunch” Scarlett stood up, holding her tray of cutleries.
Jenna nodded and watched her leave.
Scarlett walked past Belle and the nerd and dropped her tray
Afterwards, She went into the toilet, took off her shoes, pu-ll-ed her socks, soa-ked her shoes into the toilet water before bringing them out.
“Gross” Scarlett muttered, almost puking and finally left.
As soon as Scarlett pas-sed again in order to go back to Jenna.
She dropped her socks into Belle’s soup.
“What’s this?” Belle snarled and looked up at Scarlett.
“Aiish” Scarlett muttered, quite vexed.
“What are you gonna do now??” Scarlett asked, with anger.
“Huh! What do you mean? You just threw your dirty and poor stinking socks into my soup and you’re saying,,, What am I gonna do?” Belle asked with a dangerous glare which Scarlett was unfazed about.
Scarlett sighed.
“Its your soup’s fault! It was on the way!” She defended.
“What? What kind of statement is that!” Belle screamed, rising to her feet.
“Aiish! Get away,,, you! I’m sure your saliva smells! who-re! No guy would want to k!ssyou again!” Belle said, and hit her shoe on the nerd’s mouth.
She whimpered in pain, and stood up, holding onto her mouth. She bent her head low and ran out crying in embarras-sment while others laughed.
Belle scoffed.
“Well,,, She deserves it… And as for you,,, Who do you think you are!” Belle screamed, now standing up.
Scarlett smiled, and took herl-ips to Belle’s ear.
“You did that purposely,,, didn’t you?” She whispered.
“What?” Belle muttered.
“You had your leg out on purpose in order to make the nerd trip”
“What are you saying!! Do you think i humiliated myself intentionally?” Belle squee-zed her face.
“Well,,, Sort of. I even have proof to make it sweeter and better” Scarlett whispered and brou-ght out a sly smile.
“Wh…at? Belle stammered.
Scarlett raised her phone to her face.
“Here. I made a video and it’s all in here-
“plea-se,,, don’t do anything. Just delete it”
“No…No…No” Scarlett laughed.
“Is it money? You want money? Don’t worry,,, I got lots! I’ll give you all. Just name your price” Belle had her voice low now.
“I don’t want money. I’m not that stupid” Scarlett laughed.
Belle swallowed ha-rd .
She knew her father would definitely kill her and it might ruin the reputation of his business.
“Then,,, what exactly do you want?” She almost cried.
“The soup. Drink it” Scarlett commanded, whispering.
“What? No! I can’t!” Belle wi-de-ned her eyes.
“Okay then. I’m just gonna post it” Scarlett smiled, shoving her phone to her face.
“Aiish!” Belle half yelled, and held the phone in order to seize it but being a good and strong taekwando fighter, Scarlett held her hand swiftly and twisted it.
“Ah…Ah…Ah…Let me go!! What are you waiting for! Snatch the phone from her and beat her to a pulp!” Belle screamed to her friends.
Her two friends stood up and went to her. Scarlett swifted jumped and raised her legs to the air. She landed them a heavy kicks and they went down to the ground immediately.
They stood up and ran off.
“Scaredy cats! Aiish! Why not bring b©dy guards instead. I heard you are arrogantly rich”
“What? What did you just say? Ah…Let me go” Belle winched.
“Make me” She smiled, twisting her hand the more.
“I’ll do as you say!!! So,,, just let me go,, plea-se!” Belle begged.
“If you don’t as you say,,, I’ll kill you,,, its a promise” Scarlett warned and Belle nodded.

Scarlett let her go and Belle sat down. She looked at the plate of soup and swallowed ha-rd . She wanted to puke but held herself
Jenne was watching, smiling.
“Whoa. That’s my bestie. That Belle nee-ds to be taught a lesson”

“I’m done. Now,,, delete it” Belle said, seriously.
Scarlett looked at it and laughed.
“Done? You aren’t done yet…”
“I am” Belle objected.
“You forgot to chew the socks!”
“Huh?”
“Chew the fvÂąking socks till it dries or I’m gonna post the whole thing now!”
