EPISODE 8
“Wow the beach is so beautiful” she yelled happily as she stood besides the ocean letting the waves to wash her legs whilst, she took a lot of pictures.
“Max” she screamed before jumping inside the water.
Max was terrified,he thought that she was drowning and he rushed inside the water.
Ann bought out her head laughing happily “I got you boss” she shouted.
Max after realizing that he has been played he was embarra-ssed but it didn’t take long before he smi-rked evilly at her.
“Oh no” Ann thought.
Within a flash he grabbed her by her wai-st and threw her inside the water, she started laughing,then he started tickling her.
“Stop stop Max stop” she laughed.
During the process an image flashed across her vision, she saw a burnt crying woman.
Slowly her smile faded and she started coughing. Max was horrified “Ann Ann what’s wrong” he shouted.
He carried her out of the water “what’s wrong Ann?” He asked.
Ann was paled “I saw her” she whispered with her heart beating furiously against her che-st, Max could hear her heartbeat.
“Who?” He asked.
“Oh God not again” she said crying.
“What’s wrong Ann talk to me” he asked worriedly.
She looked at him,”my nightmare again”.
“Again?” He asked.
“Max I keep on having this nightmares and today do you know what I saw?, I saw a burnt woman crying, what does these things have to do with me why? Am twenty four, have been having this different dreams constantly for eight years but now it only grew worst” she sobbed with her body shaking vigorously.
“It’s time! It’s time!! It’s time!!!.
“No” she screamed covering her ears “leave me alone” she holds her head screaming frantically “get out of my head, please, please” she sobbed.
Max was horrified,he has never seen her so vulnerable before, she was crying and it makes his heart hurts.
Max had no choice than to take her home.

“fu-ck Ann what’s wrong with her?” Bella asked glaring at Max
“I think she had a mental break down,chill it not my fault” Max replied.
“What? Ann” she moved closer to her, then she layed her on the couch.
“Hmm”, Max scratched his head softly, “I think I have to be on my way,I will check on her tomorrow”.
“Ok thanks for your concern”.
“Ann please talk to me, what’s wrong with you” Bella asked worriedly.
“Isa, I saw something, this is not a dream, I saw it vividly” she cried.
“Ann what did you see” Bella asked worriedly.
“I saw a burnt woman and some voices yelling to me that it’s time” she replied.
“Max said you had panic attack” Bella inquired.
“Bella can we not talk about that” she said while laying on the couch

*The next morning*
“Ann why did you sleep here, what happened to your room? ” Her mom asked the next morning.
“Hmm mum” she grimaced ” it seems my dream come out to reality, I don’t know what’s wrong”.
“Sweet what happened?, talk to me”.
“Sunshine I went out with Max yesterday and a burnt woman crying then I started hearing voices”.
“Hmmm hmm”.
“Mum I wasn’t sleeping” she replied hysterically ” I was in the water playing, and i saw her vividly, I heard the voices mum”.
“Ann calm down,calm down my child” her mom sobbed hugging her “it’s well with you my child”.
“Ok mum, thanks mum ,mum please help me find solution to my problem, please sunshine I can’t go on like this” she cried.
Please my child,stop crying please stop crying”.
“Ok mum” she sniffed.
“Isa you can’t imagine how I looked like yesterday,I looked so horrible” Ann lamented bitterly to her sister.
“Ann it’s ok ,I know Max wouldn’t think worst of you” Bella consoled.
“No Isabelle you can’t un-derstand I look so pathetic and I know I scared the shit out of him”.
“Abella it’s ok, don’t be like this, please don’t cry you will make me cry too”.
“Am not crying” Ann replied wiping tears from her face.

Max later went to visit Ann the following day as promised he stopped by the supermarket on his way he bought some groceries for her just to make her feel better.
When he got to her house he was sad that he met her so bittered. she was dressed in a long black gown and her eyes were so puffy.
“What’s wrong” he asked.
“Max how are you” she sniffed.
“Ann are you crying, please my princess don’t cry ok”
“Max am sorry you had to see me like that yesterday,that has never happened to me in my whole life, am sorry”.
“Ann it’s ok”.
“Gosh I don’t even know how to face you,am so embarra-ssed” Ann cried.
“Ann,Ann listen to me, it’s ok” he said.
“Yeah ” she sniffed
Max engulfed her in a hug as Ann couldn’t stop crying bitterly.
Although he looked as though he was not affected by all the things happening to her but it feels as though he was the one those things were happening to.
He vowed to find solutions to her problem he also vowed to make her happy.

EPISODE 9
Six men in suit sat around a mahogany table talking, they had this relief and sad expressions on their faces.
“Chiefs please don’t be annoyed with me for summoning this impromptu meeting by this time of the day, I will be travelling out of the country for two months , my first son Johnson just gave birth and as you all know I must go to perform the usual rites for the child” chief Mazi addresses the congregation while the chiefs nodded in agreement.
“The chief priest called me yesterday concerning our princess and am so relieved to tell you that he said the gods of our land have started visiting the princess, in fact the princess is very close to us” chief Mazi continued.
“gods of our land,I thank you, am so relieved” Chief Itolu replied .
“But when is she coming, the people are asking questions, they are getting impatient, what are we supposed to tell them. It’s quite unfortunate that the king only gave birth to a child, it would have saved us all these troubles” Chief Itolu continued.
“Haa Lawson I hope you did not rest where ever you are, help us to find this girl, infact help me to find her she needs to take over the company” chief Anderson lamented.
“Well my chiefs we just have to keep on hoping the gods should bring her back to us, I will have to dismiss this meeting ” chief Mazi said dismissively.

*Few months later*
“Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I called for this meeting so that I can be updated on what has been going on in this country as the CEO of this company, I hope you are all aware that am not always around, so some of you used it to your advantage to misbehave, well am not here for that this morning, that would be addressed some other time, this company Lawson and co company will soon be handled back to it’s owner, when and how I don’t know but I just want you all to be prepared and do your work diligently, well before you leave, I will like to speak with the MD in my office”Max addresses the workers at Lawson and co company, one of the companies he heads.
“Nelson you dey craze o” Maxwell exclaimed “Na all the babe wey dey this company you wan fuc-k?”.
“Abegi free me jare, no be you be the real MVP” Nelson replied laughing.
“Real MVP kwa, when did I graduate from being play boy to MVP?” Max asked laughing.
“Ok if you no be real MVP, you be baba for the girls”.
“Haa you this guy, you no go kill me, my guy how far now”.
“I dey o” Nelson replied.
“But Nelson I no like how you take dey head this company,watin I dey hear no good o and you be my padi o”.
“See Max am so sorry, I want to tell you that I want to leave this company but I don’t know how I will but when you said the owner is coming back I was so happy to be relieved of my duty”.
“Bro watin happen?”
“Abeg speak correct English jare”.
“Ok Mr Nelson what happened?”.
“My guy all the babes wey dey this company wan kill me” Nelson replied looking serious.
Max burst out laughing “see who’s talking about correct English”.
“See let forget about that,they wan kill me, you know say me too be sharp guy but this babes no take am easy with me at all, them they come this office come sed-uce me, see they get no shame, mhen sometimes they come in two, did they want to kill me, No be that level l like To*o reach”.
Max couldn’t contain his laughter “am surprised you could runaway from such abi it’s not the same Nelson my one and only partner in crime”.
“Max forget about that jare I wan commot, that reminds me have you seen the babe you are looking for?” Nelson asked.
“No we haven’t seen her,” he replied.
“then why did you say the owner is coming” he asked.
“I don’t know either, I have said it before I could realise but it’s a good thing, I have a feeling that she’s close by” he said.
“That’s serious, i can’t believe we spent few time together” Nelson stated.
“Yeah it’s so sad” he replied.
“Max any news? hallar me Sharp sharp” he asked excitedly.
“My guy the gist wey dey ground be say I dey go Anderson and Co and you dey go inside your office”Max said.
“Max did I ever tell you that you are stupid?” Nelson frowned.
“Yeah you are just saying it now, I wan bounce jorr bye see you at the club” he informed.
“Max would you ever change?” Nelson laughed.
“Abeg free me” he replied.

“Well, well well look who came late today?” Ann teased.
“Do you realize you are talking to your boss?” Max asked with amusement lacing in his voice.
“Mr Maxwell you are just coming by 2pm it’s even pa-ss lunch hour”.
“So?” He asked.
“As you don’t seem to get what am saying, your punishment for today is that you will be the one to fix your schedule yourself tomorrow, no one is permitted to do it for you” she stated seriously.
“What?” Max asked shocked “are you being serious?” He asked again.
“Have never been so serious all my life” she replied.
“Why do I have a PA then?” He gro-aned.
“Like seriously, are you asking me, anyways have pa-ssed my punishment, this conversation is over” she replied before walking calculatively out of the office.
‘is this girl being serious’ he thought.
The following day Ann took her time in getting ready, infact she got to work very early before Max,she arranged everything in order but she’s keen on pa-ssing out her punishment on Max as a revenge on him for yelling at her the first day she resumed.
Luck soon smiled on her when Max came strolling in,she smiled at him and continue her work.
Max expected Ann to bring his early morning coffee but was surprised to see non coming so he picked his Telecom
“Hello” he said to the speaker, “Ms Annabelle Meet me in my office now”.
Two minutes later,
“Good morning sir” she greeted fixing him one of her brightest smile.
Max felt his heart twitched again but he stood up and faced the window.
“Ms Ann you didn’t bring me my coffee”.
“Oh my” she replied mockingly “sorry CEO I can’t go back on my punishment”.
“Punishment?” He asked.
“Yes I remember I gave you a punishment yesterday” she replied.
” Gosh Ann, I thought you were only joking”.
“Joking!” She smi-rked “do I look like am joking, no coffee for you mister”.
“Haa” Max exclaimed.
“Wait can’t you make your coffee yourself?” She asked wide eyed.
“I don’t know how” he replied.
“Gosh what type of person are you!” She exclaimed “I practically spent all my life in UK and I know how to prepare a cu-p of coffee but you….. I just don’t know what to say”.
“Hey don’t even insult me” he replied chuckling ” you guys drink coffee like water babe this is Nigeria, coffee is not what you just drink when we have other stuff to drink, I will now settle for coffee when there are lots of local dishes and drinks”.
“Local dishes?” She asked with keen interest.
“Why don’t you just sit down while we talk” he replied.
“Talking about the local dishes we have Ogbono soup with Eba, Egusi soup with pounded yam, wow we have a lot of dishes like that”he informed.
“Wow” she muttered.
“Here is the bargain, you cancel my so called punishment and I will take you to a restaurant to try out any local dish you want” he proposed.
“Seriously” she asked smiling
“Yes” he replied smiling back at her.
“Then am game” she said.
“Game?” He asked.
“Am in, I will get the coffee now” she informed standing up.
“Infact don’t worry,am not in for the coffee again, what are my schedules for today?” He asked.
“Well you don’t have anything much to do, just for you to check the proposal I made” she replied.
“Chikena?”.
“Chikena what?”.
“I asked that is that all?”.
“Yes please excuse me”.
Few minutes later.
A lady clad in blue jean bum short and jean jacket walks towards Max office.
“Hello” she greeted Max in a slutry voice.
“Celia what are you doing here?” Max asked feeling irritated.
“Come on baby am here for you, although I don’t like how you pushed me out the other day”.
“Well it isn’t my fault, you are so adamant, I had to do what I had to do” he replied “so babe what can I do for you”.
“Max” she moved towards his table “you will do a lot” lic-king her li-ps seductively.
“Celia we can’t do that here” Max said.
“No baby” she drawled kis-sing max hungrily.
In the twinkling of an eye, they found themselves having se-x.
Someone just barged in accidentally, they froze and looked towards the door.
“I’m sorry sir” she said and closed the door.
“Bella!!!” Max shouted and ran towards the door.
