ELINA POV
Secretly preparing an gene syrup so I can be able to detect where my missing brother actually is. I mixed all the ingredients together with the instructions of the book I found in father’s secret study.
“Elina what are you doing inside” Cora asked as she knocked on my door.
I shouldn’t talk when I’m doing this,that’s the instructions of the syrup.
“Elina you nee-d to come downstairs. We have a guest and you won’t believe who visited” Cora said excitedly.
Cora plea-se go, don’t ruin things here. I thought concentrated on what I was doing.
“It’s the piece of rag. He c@mĀ£ along with Finley. He looks totally comfortable around Finley and that’s really unusual” Cora explained.
I’m almost there. I added the last ingredient and that was a drop of my blood and immediately it glowed.
“Elina what’s that light? Elina is everything alright? Do you nee-d something” Cora panicked.
Oh no this is not good. She might think something is wrong with me. I can’t get expo-sed at the last minute.
“Finley, Elina is in trouble. We nee-d to save her” Cora panicked and I could hear her footsteps fasten as she ran downstairs.
Finally she’s gone. I thought and took a sip of the syrup but I felt an immense pain in my heart and my eyes began to glow golden.
What’s happening to me? I thought as the pain bec@mĀ£ more intense.
“Ah…!” I winced holding my che-st.
AIDAN POV
“I don’t think bringing me into your house is quite appropriate” I g@sped.
“I don’t think so. Cora is really going to make fun of you so be yourself. Elina is the princess of the house and very demanding but you will be fine as long as you act to be older than her” Finley instructed.
“Finley….. Finley” Cora called out running down the stairs.
“Cora,what’s going on? Where’s Elina” Finley asked and I felt like running upstairs, something is calling out for me.
“Elina!” I called out and ran upstairs, Finley followed.
“Where’s she” Finley asked curiously.
“She’s in her room. I was speaking to her but she didn’t say nothing and suddenly something glowed from inside the room” Cora narrated nervously.
“Elina… Elina” I shouted as I got to her door.
“Elina.. Elina” Everyone called but no response.
“Cora go get the master key from the house keeper” Finley instructed and she ran off like a wind.
“Elina…” I screamed hitting the door ha-rd as something kept telling me her life is in danger.
“Here are the keys” Cora panicked as she gave the keys to Finley and swiftly,he slut the key in and crack the door open.
“Elina” We all called out as we saw her laying on the floor looking very pale.
“What happened to you?” Finley asked curiously as he carried her and placed her on the be-d. We followed her to the be-d.
“Her pulse isn’t stable. We should take her to the hospital” I suggested without even checking the pulse.
“No we can’t,we can’t endanger her life. Her father will lose it if anything bad happens to her” Finley cut in.
Aunt also tells me,we can’t endanger my life but she really nee-ds to go to the hospital. Why can’t they take her to the hospital. Are they werewolves as well. I thought confused.
“Elina plea-se can you tell us what happened so we can find a solution to this?” Finley panicked.
“It looks like some kind of side effects of something she took” I uttered almost in a whisper and they all looked at me.
“And how did you know that? You also knew her pulse was weak without tou-ching her,now you know she took something” Finley questioned.
“I happened to have some medical experience from studies” I uttered and tears roll down Elina’s eyes to her ears as she stared at me.
“Why are you crying? You will be fine okay” I as-sured as I wiped her tears off and I suddenly felt an immense pain inside my heart.
“Ahhh..!” I screamed as I went on my knees holding my che-st ti-ghtly as the pain bec@mĀ£ unbearable.
My eyes will glow soon. I can’t expo-se my identity,I’m still not sure if they’re people I can trust. Aunt warned me about hanging out with so many people. I thought holding my che-st and tears roll down my cheeks like an ocean.
“Ahh! It hurts” I screamed feeling so much pain.
“Aidan what’s going on with you? What’s happening here” Finley asked confused as he tried to tĀ©uƧh me but I moved away.
It hurts so much. I’ve never felt any pain like this before,I feel like my heart is about to tear ap@rt.
“Elina are you okay” I managed to utter as I stood up and she held my hand.
“I’m sorry” She uttered as she began to sob and my eyes was about glowing so I ran out of the room and immediately my eyes glowed.
MILES POV
I got to the human reign to visit Finley and the girls but a boy ran pas-sed me as he stagged out of the gate and I felt a very strange feeling.
“Who’s he” I uttered and the security guard answered.
“He lives across the street”
“Ahhh!” I heard Elina scream and swiftly I ran to her like a wind.
“Elina what happened to you” I asked curiously and placed her palm on mine.
Oh no,how did Elina get a hold of the dangerous syrup book. I thought and my eyes went wi-de open.
“I’m sorry father,I was only trying to help” She uttered faintly but I ca-ressed her hair.
“Save your breathe,you will be fine. You will heal soon, your pain got drenched by someone else” I said softly.
Wait a minute,the only one who can do that is just me and my heir if he was alive. I thought and gave Elina a curious look and she nodded like she knew what was running in my head as tears roll down her cheeks.
“Thank you so much Elina. Thank you so much” I muttered as she ran into my embr@ce.
“It’s okay father,I also want to share your pain” she whispered in my ears and a smile appeared on my face.
Few minutes later, Elina was fast asleep and Cora sle-pt next to her tiredly.
“Finley let’s have a word”I uttered and we left the room for my room.
“Supreme, Elina saw and knows something. I’m having the feeling she took or made a spell and like the neighbor said he said it was some side effects of something she took” Finley g@sped and I stared at him.
“Neighbor?” I asked curiously.
“Yes, Elina calls him piece of rag. His name is Aidan. For a second I almost thought he was your lost heir but I guess maybe my suspicions was wrong” He said losing his spirit.
“Aidan” I mentioned.
“Finley what was your intentions for coming to the human reign? You know you can confined in me? I’m still your favorite uncle right” I inquired.
“Supreme,I strongly believe the lost heir is still alive. The blood moon didn’t appear and if it did father or anyone must have mentioned it. Supreme I sincerely want to support and help look for him. If I put my mind into it,I will find him” Finley as-sured.
Youngsters now,got me marveled by their intelligence. Elina found her brother alre-ady and Finley is close to finding him. Mason and I are blessed with brilliant and smart pubs. I thought with a smile and I hvgged him.
“Finley you’re close to finding him just don’t look elsewhere. Go after the neighbor and you will find my lost heir. He probably won’t be around anymore,he kinda got caught. I will take Elina and Cora back to Polatan. I will trust you on this” I muttered smiling as I broke the hvg.
He’s indeed the Alpha. Finley thought.
“Take care of yourself okay” I said and left the room.

Miles c@mĀ£ back with Elina and Cora. Elina fully recovered when she got to Polatan.
“Supreme the demon pack are heading to Polatan. They reinf0rƧĀ£d in an unexpectable way. They are really in for war” Obet reported.
“If everyone have been kept in the pack house then there’s nothing left to worry about” Miles said seriously.
“Father I want to fight along side you at the battle” Elina announced as she c@mĀ£ in.
“Elina this isn’t the time to be demanding. You have to be save as well as the rest of the pack” Miles hinted.
“The Alpha is right Elina” Zoe cut in.
“But mother years back father announced that any werewolf from age fourteen should go into training so they can fight” Elina said boldly.
“You’ve misquoted me,I said defend themselves and not fight in battles. You’re the future warriors of polatan and I can’t take the risk of endangering your life. You’re the only one I have. Guards take Elina to the dungeon” Miles instructed coldly.
“Dungeon” Everyone murmured in shock.
“Father plea-se trust me on this” Elina screamed as she got dragged out by the guards.
“But taking her to the dungeon is Abit harsh, don’t you think” Zoe ch!pped in.
“Dungeon is the only place Elina can’t escape from. She’s too strong to be kept un-der house arrest” Miles said coldly.
“Melissa where’s Cora” Mason whispered.
“Cora went to the pack house to help keep everyone safe but you and I know that’s just an excuse”Melissa scoffed.
“She can’t possibly have planned this with Elina” Mason uttered frustratedly.
“What do you think” Melissa said.
Miles Cora have to be kept in the dungeon as well. I think she planned this with Elina. Mason mind messaged.
Don’t you think it’s a bit late for that. Miles mind linked.
How do you mean? Mason asked seriously.
“Let’s get going to the entrance” Miles instructed.

Cora c@mĀ£ out from nowhere and blew the slee-ping spell and all the guards sle-pt off. She swiftly unlocked Elina’s chains and they ran away.
“We can’t let our lifetime training go to waste. Polatan pack nee-ds us,it doesn’t matter if it’s the demon pack we’re attacking” Elina said seriously.
“The Alpha knew I was going to come for you and he’s not stĀ©pping us” Cora said.
“Father doesn’t want the warriors and chiefs to know that he’s not a caring Alpha. Of course father knows we will be of great help in the battle” Elina sm-irked and suddenly she felt someone was sneaking around.
“Someone’s here” Elina hinted and signaled Cora to move to the other side.
They both ambushed the one sneaking around and it happened to be Erica. Elina and Erica began to fight,Elina gave Erica a cut by her claws. Erica fought seriously without giving up and Elina had a fowl feeling towards her.
“Who the hell are you and what are you doing here” Elina yelled glaring at Erica as she planned for her next move.
“Who are you? You seem to have very interesting fighting skills? Are you the alpha’s daughter” Erica sneered and Elina gave her another cut on her other arm.
“You’re very brutal” Erica winced.
“You are no simple werewolf, you would have been dead by now if you were a werewolf” Elina inquired and Erica moved backwards.
“Train ha-rder. I’m not done with this fight. We will continue when next we meet,bye for now” Erica uttered and like wind she disappeared.
“She’s a vampire” I uttered in shock.
“The vampires have planted a spy in polatan. We nee-d to report this to the Alpha” Cora ch!pped in.
“Not now,father is on his way to go conquer the demon pack. We shouldn’t add to his stress. Let’s go help out” Elina instructed and Cora nodded.
Elina and Cora got to the entrance and the fight among the polatan pack and demon pack began alre-ady. Miles was Abit distracted when he was fighting and he almost got a cut from one of the demon werewolf. At the sight of this Elina transformed and bounced on him and scratch out his heart and bite off his nĀ£Ā¢k. Elina bec@mĀ£ very brutal and dangerous as she fought along side Miles.
The demon Alpha retreated and ran away with the survivors. The battle was over and Elina transformed back but coll@psed after that.
“Elina!” Miles and Zoe called out as they ran to her.
MILES POV
We brou-ght Elina back to the castle and called for the dre-ad doctor.
“Why did she coll@pse out of the blue? Elina has never lost consciousness before” I asked curiously.
“I think she’s being affected by some side effects. She’s losing blood and it’s a result of some dangerous syrup” The dre-ad doctor explained.
Oh no Elina can’t get affected by this as well,I also went throu-gh side effects from that dangerous syrup for months. I thought confused.
“Dangerous syrup? Miles what’s that” Zoe asked curiously and I signaled the doctor to leave.
“Elina made the gene syrup with her blood” I explained looking away.
“What’s gene syrup” Zoe and Melissa chorused.
“Elina is searching for her lost brother. I have no idea how she got hold of the spell book and that was how she made the gene syrup with a drop of her blood” I explained coldly.
“Miles how can you be so calm about this. Elina might lose her life for this” Zoe panicked and I placed my palm on Zoe’s head.
“You don’t expect me to shed tears for this do you… Everyone’s putting their lives on the line just to look for my heir and you think I don’t feel bitttered about that. Zoe I really don’t have to show everyone my emotions at a time like this. I’m an Alpha,I’m supposed to be tough and heartless so don’t let me lose my cool” Miles yelled and Mason pat his shoulder.
“Melissa take Zoe to her chambers,we really can’t create a scene here. Miles have temporarily healed her so she will be fine for now. We know that won’t sustain her for much but Miles nee-ds some space so he can come up with a remedy” Mason suggested and Zoe sobbe-d.
“It’s really ha-rd not knowing what Miles is thinking” Zoe exclaimed seriously and left with Melissa.
“Dealing with all this yourself is really ha-rd right” Mason uttered and sat next to me.
“It’s ha-rd . Elina also feels sorry for me that’s why she did that, I hate it when everyone feel sorry for me but I can’t possibly hate my daughter for doing that,she always puts me first in everything she does. I would have loved it,if she was only mischievous and carefree. Risking her life just to make me happy is really putting me in a ti-ght corner” I uttered as tears escaped my eyes and I wiped it off.
“She’s still getting side effects because she saw something. She has been emotionally attached to what she saw” Mason g@sped.
“Elina saw her brother,the syrup worked. She’s only having side effects because he’s refusing to come back. He doesn’t want to accept who he is. And if Elina keeps losing blood,I will be left with no choice but to give her my trinity” I said seriously.
“You won’t do a thing like that. If you do that, you will slowly lose your powers as the Alpha. If that happens then who will lead the polatan pack and the rest of the pack. We will find the lost heir and bring him back to Polatan before Elina loses her strength” Mason as-sured.
“Finley is working on that but I think he nee-ds some help. It will be ha-rd convincing Aidan to come here” I g@sped frustratedly.
“Aidan,his name is Aidan” Mason asked curiously.
“You’re also surprised right. Someone from the castle took him away because only those in the castle knows I really wanted his name to be Aidan” I said seriously.
