“The Alpha is really in for rage. Why do you think Miles is in so much rage. Don’t tell me he’s planning on doing something stupid” Melissa asked curiously after treating Mason’s injury.
“Whatever it is, nob©dy is an exception. I’m having feeling Miles wouldn’t go to the demon region for the remedy” Mason uttered.
“Are you trying to say,he will kill his pub with Zoe” Melissa asked seriously.
“That’s the last option we’ve got” Mason uttered coldly.
“He’s an Alpha,he has to live,if he wants to lead us all. Killing one of his pub for that, doesn’t change anything. I also think it’s for the best” Mason added.
They’ve both made up their minds. This is not good. Melissa thought seriously as she stared at Mason.
FOUR MONTHS LATER
AUTHOR’S POV
It’s four months now but nothing really changed much in Polatan, everyone still held their ambition ti-ght but Lila fell de-eply in love with Miles that she couldn’t help it but go visit him daily. Zoe saw all this but couldn’t fight for her feelings because Miles pushed her further away from him.
“Zoe’s time for labour is close by. You should keep a close eye on her. I should be the first to set my eyes on our pub. Nob©dy else is allowed into her labour room except the dre-ad doctor” Miles instructed in a serious tone.
“You life matters most. You can still have other pubs. I will make it my first priority to watch over Zoe. Don’t worry about that ” Mason as-sured.
“I’m sorry,I’m taking away the precious time you should be spending with Melissa now that she’s pregnant. She’s working too ha-rd for her own good. Watch her clear fully,she looks out of it lately” Miles forewarned.
“I also thought so but I pushed the thought away, I’m guessing it’s because of the pregnancy. She nags and worries too much lately. She’s feeling too insecure” Mason affirmed.

Zoe c@m£ out of her chambers and got so irritated like she was going to lose it.
“I don’t get it,did I commit any dangerous or terrible crime that I’m not aware of” Zoe screamed frustratedly.
“Selene,you’ve got to stay in there and st©p ranting,it won’t do you any good” Mason replied sarcastically.
“Why am I being heavily guarded,am I carrying the Alpha in my belly. I can’t even breathe freely for a second. Like what the heck is going on” Zoe complained.
“What if I told you, you’re carrying the Alpha inside of you, would you still sit quietly” Mason uttered coldly.
“And by the way,why are you here yourself? There’s something fishy going on here. The guards can guard me all by themselves but you’re here yourself” Zoe uttered staring at Mason suspiciously.
“Think whatever you want, the Alpha gave strict orders that you’re not even allowed to leave your chambers so go back inside and let me think” Mason said seriously .
“Now that you’re here,you have to keep me company. Your Alpha wouldn’t probably want me to turn numb for staying quiet for too long” Zoe joked.
“I would advise you to keep shut. You’re the last person I want to keep company right now. Get back inside and stay put” Mason ordered.
Something doesn’t feel right. What’s going on exactly? Miles really cares about his child. Zoe thought and a smile appeared on her face.
“Zoe..!” Miles called as he joined them.
“Supreme what brings you here” Zoe asked smiling.
“What are you doing out here? These are one of the reasons why I find it ha-rd forgiving you. You always want to rebel my orders. You think pestering Mason would make him leave his sp©t then you got a terrible idea so go back inside and st©p ma-king us all lose focus ” Miles yelled and walked out.
Suddenly Zoe went into labour. Swiftly the doctor was called over.
After Zoe put to birth, Miles and Mason with Melissa went into her chambers only to find the dre-ad doctor dead on the floor and Zoe was fast asleep like she was injected with a slee-ping spell and the pub wasn’t there. Zoe woke up and looked at her side only to find out her baby wasn’t there.
“Zoe where’s our child” Miles asked curiously like he was about to lose his mind.
“What’s going on here exactly? Why’s the baby not here” Zoe asked trying to process everything.
“Why’s the doctor dead? Who would possibly kill the doctor? Where’s the baby” Melissa asked curiously looking around anxiously.
“Wait a minute, someone should plea-se tell me. What’s going on here exactly because I just can’t process anything” Miles said slowly as he held the wall for support.
“Supreme… It seems like your child have been stolen” Mason stuttered nervously and Zoe boost into tears as she fell on ground.
“Mason we shouldn’t jump to conclusions. I’m pretty sure the guards behind this wall saw something. Let’s go ask them. This chamber was heavily guarded, there’s no way. We must have lost my heir without anyone seeing that” Miles uttered as tears escaped his eyes and swiftly they went behind the walls only to find all the guards there laying on the ground dead.
“How did this happen” Melissa asked worriedly.
“This looks like it was thor0ûghly planned” Mason g@sped.
“Do you think Lila had something to do with this. This was supposed to be a good news,now the alpha’s heir is lost” Melissa uttered worriedly not knowing what to do next.
Who would have the nerve to do this to me? I waited so long for the arrival of this child and now I have no idea if he’s alive or dead. They will regret doing this to me. Miles muttered in his mind angrily looking at the space.
“We nee-d to think outside the box. Now we really have no idea who the enemy is” Melissa uttered seriously and Miles walked away angrily.
“Miles where you going” Mason and Melissa chorused as they ran after him. Miles went to the dungeon Kevin was.
“Where’s my child” Miles asked angrily as his eyes began to glow red.
“I have no idea. You finally think of me as an enemy. You’ve kept me here for the past eight months so you deserve whatever you’re going throu-gh” Kevin mocked and swiftly Miles slit his throat into two and left the dungeon.
“Miles is in so much pain” Melissa whispered to Mason not knowing what’s going on in Miles’s head.
“Of course he is,he lost everything he’s been planning for just in a second. How would you feel if you were in his shoes” Mason g@sped miserably.
“Ahhh!” Miles roared angrily and all the trees in the forest shaked as some petals fell off.
They went back to the castle and Miles went to Zoe’s chambers, gr@bb£d her by the n£¢k angrily.
“How dare you do this to me? Zoe why do you have to hurt me so much like this. I’m hurting so much. I can feel my anger in my breath. When do you plan on st©pping all this” Miles yelled as he began to sob.
“I wish you will strangle me right here and now. Why would I steal my own child. What do you take me for? A monster or a demon? I remember giving birth to him and I suddenly sleft off like I was injected with a spell” Zoe said sobbing and Miles re-leased his grip.
“You fell asleep after giving birth to him and suddenly your child disappeared into thin air. Are you taking me for a fool” Miles yelled.
“Miles plea-se believe me,I had nothing to do with this. I’m also hurting. plea-se believe me” Zoe sobbe-d bitterly and Melissa joined her in sobbing.
“I’m not sobbing because I’m feel bad for you. I’m sobbing because Miles is hurting” Melissa lied sobbing heavily. That was the first time Mason was seeing Melissa sob.
“Zoe you shouldn’t be involved in this because if you’re involved with this. I will lose it. I promise make you pay” Miles threatened bitterly and walked out and Mason followed.

“I will never do that to my child. Why won’t Miles believe me” Zoe sobbe-d.
FLASHBACK*** Miles went to Lila’s resident after he left Zoe’s chambers.
“Miles you’re here,” Lila said smiling and ran to Miles.
After today or tomorrow, I will get everything I want. I will become a beauty queen I am. Zoe’s child is my biggest achievement. Lila thought with a sm-irk.
I knew you were no good. After showing you all the love and attention, you still chose to walk throu-gh that evil path. You’re not allowed to harm anyone close to me, not anymore. Miles thought and slit Lila’s throat.
“Miles….why..” Lila g@sped out slowly as she held her n£¢k and gave her another cut at the other side of her n£¢k and blood gushed out.
“I delete whoever plans on ruining things for me, it doesn’t matter who it is. You will regret thinking of harming anyone close to me. I’m sorry, I tried giving you a chance to change your mind but whoever is ambition will always be ambitious” Miles said coldly and walked out of her residence.
Miles, I’m not done with you yet. You will regret this decision. Lila thought and slowly closed her eyes.***FLASHBACK ENDS.
“I can’t even avenge my child because I’ve become weak and incompetent like I always do. They got me real ha-rd this time around” Miles g@sped out and tears roll down his cheeks.
“Miles you’ve got to start thinking straight. You’re heartbroken, yes I can see that but you’re not thinking straight right now. You’ve never been incompetent your whole life so don’t ever utter a word as that” Mason scolded and Miles ran into his embr@ce.
ZOE POV
It’s two days now,we lost my child to the unknown.
I don’t believe,I would be treated like this by anyone. Why would one want to do something as horrible as this to me. The only I’ve had so far is Mason and Melissa but they wouldn’t bear to hurt Miles like this.
Lila was announced to be dead yesterday so there’s no way she probably did that. I feel terrible not knowing what to do and unfortunately I don’t know where to begin from. I feel hopelessly useless. Miles didn’t even bother coming to visit. He must be heartbroken as well.
I didn’t know Miles cared so much for our child. That child was my last hope,he was the only one who would have brou-ght Miles closer to me. I lost everything in a blink of an eye. I sobbe-d bitterly staring at the window.
“Zoe do you think a company” Melissa asked curiously as she c@m£ in.
“I don’t nee-d your company. I want to be alone. When I nee-ded all your company nob©dy was around. Now I’ve lost my child,you claim to be concerned. I’m sorry but it’s too late for that,I no longer your concern. You’re all the reason why this happened to me. You must be happy now right. I don’t deserve anything like this because I chose to amend my ways. I’m tired of being the vilian” I screamed sobbing and she tried to get closer to me.
“Don’t come anywhere close to me. I don’t nee-d you. Even Miles chose to abandon me in a time like this,I sure don’t deserve anything like this. I’ve lost everything” I sobbe-d.
“I un-derstand that you’re hurting but you nee-d to be as tough as a rock. Now that you’re the only one that will be Miles’s bride. You should be lucky Miles still chose to make you his bride” Melissa comforted.
“I don’t want to hear jokes like that so plea-se leave me alone. plea-se leave me alone I will really love it if you leave right now” I said politely.
“I will leave, you don’t have to be so mad. I’m only been considerate that’s why I’m here. I’m doing this because I have feelings also and a conscience. You wouldn’t do this if you were in my shoes so st©p acting like the only victim here. Miles is also grieving” Melissa said rudely and left.
If he’s grieving as well,he should know exactly how I feel. He is pla-ying the victim and acting like I’m the culprit. I also lost my child,my son. I sobbe-d trying to wipe them off but they keep rushing down like an ocean.
There’s nothing worth fighting for anylonger. Miles only said he will make me his Luna because he’s grieving,he will never forgive me. I thought and ran to the highest balcony.
If Miles doesn’t show up,I will jump down. Miles have to be mine again. I feel I’m worth being with him but he keeps pushing me away. I thought with h0t tears rolling down my cheeks.
MILES POV
I was heading out of the castle when I began to hear Zoe’s thought then I went to the balcony with Mason.
“Miles if you don’t forgive me,I will jump down” Zoe threatened as she sobbe-d and I placed my hands on my w@!st staring at her.
“Miles what are you doing? She’s really going to jump off” Mason said seriously.
“We’ve lost our child and now I’m pretty sure you don’t want to have anything to do with me. plea-se forgive me but there’s nothing wrong with asking for a second chance. If you can’t forgive me,I no longer want to live” Zoe said seriously.
“Go ahead and jump off. I don’t care with whatever do you with your life. It’s your life anyways so go ahead and do what’s in your head” I said coldly and she was shocked to the bone.
“Supreme” Mason called out flabberg@sted.
“How can you be so heartless? We used to have a happy life together,you act so cold towards. You’ve loved me” She said slowly.
“There’s no way I will make a dead werewolf my Luna so go ahead and do whatever you like” I uttered and turned around.
What did he just say? Did he just indirectly say I will be his Luna. Melissa didn’t lie to me about that. Zoe muttered in her head excitedly.
Alpha I’m sorry,I will behave from now onwards. I promise. She shouted excitedly as she ran after me.
“What are you doing here? I thought you wanted to end your life or you changed your mind” I tea-sed with a mean look.
“Thank you” Zoe uttered with a smile and I scoffed.
“There’s nothing to thank me about,like I said I always keep my words. You gave birth to my heir although it’s unfortunate that I couldn’t meet him before they stole him away from us”
“Don’t follow me around. Go back in and get yourself occu-pied” I added then Mason and I left.
“You’ve forgiven her” Mason asked.
“I wasn’t angry with her in the first place. I was only showing her how to take responsibility of ones actions. She wouldn’t dare betray me again. Luna was the only reason why Zoe committed all those horrible crimes and that’s why I didn’t hold a grudge against her. I killed princess Luna so Zoe can be set free” I said coldly.
“Miles did you notice,you’ve become so mean and cold lately. You spent almost three months with Lila,you still didn’t feel a thing for her. You killed her so cruelly” Mason uttered perplexed.
“Lila was the one behind Melissa’s attack. I was only avenging my best friend. I didn’t only kill her but I got cured from my side effects as well. Lila’s got a different blood in her. I think Lila is also a werewolf vampire” I uttered seriously.
“Lila tried to kill Melissa? But why would she do that”Mason asked confused.
“I don’t think I have an answer to that question of yours but I think she probably did it for me. She was trying to copy cat the killing skills I used on princess Luna” I scoffed and one of the guards mind linked me.
“Supreme, Lila’s b©dy is missing. We couldn’t find her b©dy at her resident” Jaxo reported.
“Busted, Lila escaped” I uttered anxiously.
“You mean Lila didn’t die but Miles you’ve always had a speciality in killing. How come Lila survived it? You didn’t see her take her last breath,did you” He asked curiously.
“I cut and bite was de-ep so there’s no way she could have survived even though I left her breathing. Ambitious Lila. She will definitely come back for me,she said it isn’t over” I said worriedly.
“When she returns,who do you will be her first target? Now I’m having a second thought about who stole your child” He g@sped.
“It’s not Lila. I was with her when Zoe put to birth so it isn’t her” I protested.
What if Melissa’s responsible for it. No way, Melissa won’t do such an hurtful thing to me. If It’s not Melissa then who. I thought confused on what to do next.
