“Then…great. I can see you became so brave” Lex said and sipped from his wine
“No,she’s not doing any of this godfather,why in the world must she go all alone?? To prove what exactly??” Venom asked angrily
“Why are you so worried? You should believe in your girlfriend,she’s ready for anything” Lex said
Venom turned to Marissa
“Let’s go” He said and tried grabbing her hand but Marissa moved back
“You have nothing to worry about,I will do anything he says” Marissa said
Venom let out a scoff and left the room,ban-ging the door loudly
“Venom!”
Marissa immediately ran after him
Blade moved closer to Lex
“Are you really doing this because you don’t like Marissa or there’s something else? Are you planning to hurt her?” Blade asked and Lex chuckled
“I believe,things wouldn’t have gotten so worst if Rachael was not just the sweet and soft woman everyone knows. What’s the excess of being sweet when you can’t defend yourself?? She was only a liability and weakness to my friend…..”
“Shut up,don’t fuc-king let V hear you call his mom a liability” Blade snapped
“It’s the truth anyway,,and that’s why I don’t want the same for you two. The greatest weaknesses we always have,are our love ones. That’s why I don’t want you two to fall victims…..”
“Is that why you killed my mother??? Just because she was a liability to you??” Blade asked and Lex frowned
“What nonsense did you just spit out?? Who said I killed her?” Lex asked
“Then where the fuc-k is she?!!! Why the h*ll won’t you say anything about her!! Is she dead? Is she still living?? I’ve lived all my life with you alone and it’s fuc-king annoying. At least let me meet her,just once…..”
“You can’t” Lex cut in
“Why?”
“Because,like you said….she’s dead. But don’t cross the line,I didn’t kill her” Lex said
“I should have known nothing good will come out of my ranting” Blade muttered and rolled his eyes before walking out angrily,ban-ging the door loudly
“Are those two planning to break my door?” Lex scoffed

“Michael wait” Marissa caught up with him and grabbed his hand
“What,why are you here when you wouldn’t even listen to me?? Seriously you think you’re now strong enough to do whatever godfather says?? I know him Marissa,He’s fuc-king dangerous and cunning” Venom said
“So now what should I do?? I should keep on letting him look down on me that I’m not good enough for you?? Huh?? I know he want the best woman for you,someone who wouldn’t be a weakness to you just like your father,I just want to prove him wrong that I am not weak….”
“And I am saying you don’t have to do that,don’t prove anything”
“Seriously?? Then are you going to date Jubilee??” Marissa snapped
“What are you talking about??”
“We both know he want you and Jubilee to be together,the only way to change his mind and leave us alone is this. I want to be free with you okay?? I know you wouldn’t care even if he doesn’t like me as long as we love each other,but I care and it will keep bothering me if the godfather doesn’t want me. I want to get on his good side too Michael,just try to reason with me and…..”
“Do whatever you want” Venom muttered and walked away
Marissa bite her li-ps and rou-ghher hair
“Why can’t he just un-derstand? Gosh I hate his temper” She mumbled and also turned away

Blaze’s eyes followed Marissa until he couldn’t see her any longer.
“What’s going on?” He sighed out and fell back on the bench,it felt like he haven’t seen her in months even though it’s ba-rely a week.
He run his fingers throu-ghhis hair and sighed,he didn’t know it’s always this ha-rd to get over someone who doesn’t even care if he exist or not.
“I’m going crazy” he muttered

“What do you mean?? Godfather sent you on a mission alone?” Phoenix asked as they walked together
“That’s right” Marissa replied
“And where the h*ll are we going??” Jinx asked
“I need to find something,do you know Athena’s room?” Marissa asked
“This way” Phoenix turned and they followed immediately
They got to Athena’s room and knocked
The door opened and Athena came out
“Oh…” She was surprised
“Thank goodness you’re here. I need your help” Marissa said
“Oh….okay” Athena muttered and let them in
“What?!! You will be doing everything alone??!” Athena asked unbelievably when Marissa told her
“Yeah,but for now I need you to do something for me” Marissa said
“Okay,what is it?” Athena asked

EVENING>4PM**
Marissa pressed the doorbell again and after some seconds,Blade showed up.
“Rissa?” Blade called and Marissa looked at him,the way he called her made her remember Blaze.
She ignored it and followed Blade in.
She was dressed already,she had a black short leather coat on,giving her the bad girl look. Her long hair packed in a ponytail,her li-ps red, with dark shed gla-sses.
“Well,you look hot” Blade said
Marissa smiled shortly
“Thanks….it’s my first time here” She muttered looking around before facing Blade again
“I’m here for something important though” She said
“What is it?” Blade asked

“So,I’m leaving” Marissa said turning toward the door
“You should hug me before leaving,I have a good luck charm” Blade said and Marissa faced him
“Really?”
Blade nodded with a smile
Marissa chuckled and moved closer again before hugging him gently
Blade pat her back softly and pulled out
“Good luck” He smiled
“One last thing”
“What is it?”
“Can I make use of one of your cars? Don’t worry I can drive so perfectly” she said
“I guess he’s still mad at you” Blade said
“Yeah,so I will just do this and come back” Marissa smiled
They both went out together
Blade watched as Marissa drove out of the clan and he turned back only to find Venom
“Oh,I was on my way to you. Marissa just left” He said before checking Venom’s outfit
“Are you going somewhere?” He asked
“You are not thinking I will stay here while my girlfriend is out doing something dangerous right?” Venom asked
Blade smiled
“Here” He gave Venom a phone
“What is this?” Venom asked
“I planted a tracker on her body,you can watch everything she will be doing right inside the phone. Just follow her and stay close,let her do everything alone if she doesn’t need your help” Blade said
“You always try to prove that You have a good heart,but I’m not impressed” Venom scoffed and walked away
“Hey kiddo!” Blade called and Venom stopped before turning to him with a frown
Blade winked at him and left,he only did that to provoke him
Venom entered the car and drove out

Marissa checked the time on her wrist watch and it’s 4:30pm already
‘Phili-p is expecting a bitc-h by five’ she remembered Athena’s words and immediately stepped on the speed.
About thirty minutes later,she stopped a few mitres away from the mansion. Waiting for Phili-p’s bitc-h,that’s her only hope of getting into the mansion.
Almost immediately a car drove past her and she checked the picture with her,she’s the same girl. She stopped her car in front of Marissa’s own and Marissa didn’t waste time,she used a mask before getting down and walked to the car.
Marissa knocked on the rolled up window and it went down,showing the so called bitc-h in the car.
‘She’s really a bitc-h’ Marisaa thought,staring at the way she was dressed
“How may I help you?” The girl asked,looking at Marissa
“Can I come in? I will like to have a word with you” Marissa said
“And why would I do that?” She snapped
“I know you’re going to Phili-p,are you not Jessica?” Marissa asked
“Jessica?? Hell no,I’m Angelica not Jessica”
Marissa smiled,she only called her Jessica to find out her real name anyway
“And how did you know I am going to Phili-p?” Angelica asked
“Let him in and I will tell you” Marissa said
Angelica opened the door and Marissa entered the car and entered
“So,what is it?” Angelica asked
“No more words,it’s time to sleep” Marissa muttered
Before Angelica could blink,Marissa already injected her,it didn’t take a second before she slept off.
Marissa smiled
She got the substance from Blade earlier
She got in the driver side and drove far away from the mansion. After some minutes,she got back and entered her own car before driving into the mansion,the gate was opened for her freely.
She came out of the car
“Are you the one the boss is expecting?” One of the guards asked
“Yeah” Marissa smiled
“Then,please come with me”
They started walking,Marissa studying everywhere they pa-ssed with her eyes until they got to Phili-p’s suite.
“You can go in” The guard said and left
Marissa immediately opened the door and went in
She met Phili-p sitting on the bed,he was on a call.
Marissa smiled at him but he seems to be really focused on the call he was making
Marissa sm-irked inwardly and dropped her bag,before facing Phili-p again
She started un-bu-ttoning her coat,as expected Phili-p looked at her.

Somewhere outside,Venom was watching everything on the phone Blade gave him
He was already feeling uncomfortable as Marissa was taking off her coat.
He squ-eezed his shaking hand and bite his li-p hard
And suddenly,Marissa’s coat dropped on the floor revealing what she was putting on.
A bum short and a strapless crop top.
Phili-p’s phone dropped from his hand as he stared at Marissa down from her legs up
Venom sighed and rou-ghhis hair.
“What the h*ll does she think she’s doing??” He muttered

Back in the room
Phili-p immediately stood up from the bed and grabbed Marissa’s wa-ist and tried kis-sing her
“Don’t be too forward” Marissa placed her finger on his li-ps
“You look s-exy” Phili-p said
“I thought you don’t want me” Marissa muttered,giving him the seductive look
“I don’t want anything else in my life right now,only you” Phili-p said
“Good……but….” Marissa pulled him on the bed with a finger and wink at him
“I feel so hot….where’s the bathroom?” She asked
“Over….there” Phili-p pointed out like a lost man as he fed his eyes with Marissa’s body
“Wait here,I will be back” Marissa blew him a kis-s and he almost collap-se
She went into the bathroom and returned minutes later in a robe.
Phili-p already took off his clothes,waiting for her
“I see you’re ready” Marissa smiled and he pulled her on his lap
“I can’t wait any longer”
“I will love a gla-ss of red wine before anything,it’s my charm” Marissa said,touching his che-st romantically
Phili-p released a gro-an,she could see he was already ha-rd down there.
She smiled again
“Don’t be so impatient,I will show you the reason why my name is Angelica” Marissa winked and got up
“Where’s the cellar?” She asked
“The next room”
Marissa smiled and left the bedroom
A minute later,she returned with two gla-sses of wine
After clic-king gla-sses,they started drinking,Marissa on his lap-s
“I’m just wondering,if you’re really rich like I heard” She muttered,ru-bbing his che-st continuously
“More than you imagine,it’s a pity I don’t move with cash,but I might show you the one available at the moment” Phili-p smiled and tou-ched Marissa’s thigh,she bite her li-p wishing to kill him at the moment
“Really? Where is it?” Marissa asked
“That door” Phili-p pointed
“Good” Marissa tou-ched his cheek
Phili-p pulled her to the bed immediately and went on top of her
He started kis-sing her ne-ck and Marissa’s eyes wide-ned
‘Why is nothing happening? It’s five minutes already,he said he won’t last for more than five minutes’ she said inwardly
Phili-p’s hand went to her top and Marissa’s heart started beating fast
‘No…..should I just struggle with him? It will spoil everything’ she sighed out
But just then,Phili-p stopped moving
“What….did you …..add in my drink?” He asked but fell right on the bed immediately
Marissa got up instantly and checked him,He’s asleep already.
She exhaled and took her bag,she brou-ght out the second syringe with her and injected Phili-p
She waited for a minute
Her eyes wide-ned when his veins started struggling in his body that she could see it
Phili-p opened his mouth to scream,she immediately pushed the duvet into his mouth,watching as he struggled for his life
In a minute,everything became silent. He’s dead.
Marissa got up immediately and rushed to the door he pointed a earlier,she tried opening it but it was locked
“Oh no……the key” She muttered and started searching but couldn’t find a thing.
She took the trouser Phili-p was putting on earlier and there it was,she took the key and immediately opened the door.
A briefcase lying on the floor,she opened it and it contained the money.
She carried the bag and dressed up instantly.
After getting ready,she left the room. Watching and making sure none of the guards are available.
She turned to another direction,she met two guards but none of them seem to suspect anything.
Until suddenly
“Catch her!!!!!! She killed the boss!!!!!” A voice shouted and Marissa could see the guards coming for her
She also took to her heels even though she knew running wouldn’t solve a thing,but still she ran
She came to an end where there’s no way to escape
The guards all surrounded her
She counted with her eyes,they are fifteen. She held the bag ti-ghtly,she must make sure this gets to the clan no matter what.
“How dare you run away after committing murder!!” One of them yelled
Marissa kept quiet
“What are you waiting for,,,kill her!!” Another one shouted and immediately they all charged against her at once.

Venom was loosing his patience already as he watched Marissa fighting the men,he just wanted to go in but he wouldn’t want to ruin everything.
He continue watching every moves she takes,every skills she used,everything he taught her. She was doing it all perfectly,he could see the men dropping dead one after the other as Marissa dealt with them
He wouldn’t lie,watching her this way,gives him so much joy. He really un-derestimated her too much
Minutes later,the men were all down and Marissa rushed out. He saw her getting into the car with the money and drove off. He exhaled loudly in relief before he also started his car.

COBRA’S CLAN>LEX’S APARTMENT**
Lex chuckled as he smoked,it was late already and still Marissa isn’t back.
“Who said she’s strong or smart? I knew she would never”He scoffed
Suddenly the door opened and a guard came in
“Lord Lex,,Marissa is back” he said and Lex faced him in shock
“What?? Who??” He asked
“MA…RI..SSA” Marissa came in,calling out her name in three syllables as she walked toward him with the bag in her hand
Her body was almost covered with blood,especially her face and hand
“Don’t worry,they aren’t my blood” Marissa let out a smile and dropped the bag on the table
“Here,godfather” she said
Lex kept quiet
“Like you wanted,I did everything all alone. I killed him,and fought with his men,honestly it wasn’t easy I must confess,but I have their blood spread all over my body as you can see,while I am untou-ched” Marissa sm-irked
Lex smiled
“Yes,you really did it. Congratulations Marissa for pa-ssing the test” Lex said
“Thank you…..and now I really want you to stay out of my relationship with Venom,I won’t go easy on you next time” Marissa said coldly
“Are you threatening me right now??” Lex asked
“If that is how it sounds like,then I won’t deny it…godfather” She bowed shortly and walked out of the room
Immediately she got out of Lex’s apartment… She was shocked to see almost all the clan members In front of the apartment
‘What’s going on?’ She thought and turned back to see Lex also coming
“What are you doing?” Marissa asked
Lex smiled and moved forward,he had a crown in his hand
“I hereby declare Marissa as the Clan Queen from now on” Lex said and everyone gasped
Marissa’s eyes wide-ned
Lex moved closer to her and placed the crown on her head
“Bow to your lady boss…..everyone” He ordered and immediately everyone bowed their heads for Marissa while she was lost in total confusion
