⟨ THE KING’S CHAMBER ⟩
King Osvaldo sits in his room, taking off his crown, when Narmada enters his room with a bright smile, holding a tray containing tea and honey biscuits.
“Father” She said smiling.
“Oh, Narmada what brings you here?” King Osvaldo asked.
Narmada smiled brightly and went closer to him, dropping the tray on the table.
“I brou-ght you tea and honey biscuits” She said smiling.
“Really? What’s with the occasion?” King Osvaldo asked.
Narmada sigh and sits beside king Osvaldo, wrapping her arm around him.
“C’mon father, must there be an occasion before I serve tea and honey biscuits to my father?” She asked with a smile on her face.
“You can’t blame me Narmada, you have never done this before. You always hang out with the maids, listening to their hearsays and dressing like them” King Osvaldo said.
Narmada giggles and rest her head on King Osvaldo’s shoulder.
“Sorry about that father, I was just carried away by the hearsays the maids always tells me, and I forgot I have a father” She said.
“Is fine Narmada. Were you the one who made this?” King Osvaldo asked, taking a bite from the honey biscuits.
“I wasn’t the one who made it, Kira did, but I a-ssisted her while she was preparing it for you. I just want to spend some time with you, because I feel something isn’t right” Narmada said.
“Something like what Narmada?”
“I don’t know father, I feel something strange is about to happen, and I feel is going to befall on me” Narmada said with a sullen face.
“You are just being illusional Narmada. Stop having this feelings that something is going to happen to you, okay” King Osvaldo said and Narmada smiles.
“Fine, I won’t. Are you enjoying your tea and honey biscuits?” She asked smiling.
“Yes I am. Make more of this for me, and I want it to be solely prepared by you” King Osvaldo said and Narmada laughs.
“Fine I will father” She said and King Osvaldo looked at her and smiled.

⟨ QUEEN ANJALI’S CHAMBER ⟩
Queen Anjali banged her hand on the table, with some much anger burning inside if her.
“This can’t be happening, it can’t!!” Queen Anjali yelled.
“You need to calm down mother” Supriya said.
“I can’t calm down Supriya, Thiago should be the one to become king after the reign of King Osvaldo, not Cheng, not that cursed child with dark powers!!”
“What is going on here?” Thiago asked entering the room.
“She is so angry about the fact that the ministers of Maelstrom, wants Cheng to be king” Supriya said. Both have already settled down difference. This past few days, Thiago hasn’t gone to the brothel, or flirt with the palace maids.
“Is that why you are angry?” Thiago asked and Queen Anjali looked at Thiago with unbelievable eyes.
“Are you the one saying this?” She asked.
“Yes I am. Since they want Cheng as king, there’s no need to create a fuss” Thiago said.
“Really? No need to create a fuss? You are the first Prince of Maelstrom in case you have forgotten about it. How can you not do or say anything when your younger brother is about to become king?” Queen Anjali asked, with a feeling of disappointment.
“Is obvious father never wanted me to be King. He has always favoured Waylon, and if Cheng didn’t get possessed with dark powers, he would have loved Cheng more. I can’t force him to handle the throne to me, and I can’t force the people of Maelstrom to see me as their future king. Let’s stop all this madness mother, I am tired” Thiago said.
“You are tired? You have to fight for what is yours not getting tired!!” Queen Anjali shouted at Thiago.
“What have you achieved from all the fighting you have been doing? You got disgraced when you try hurting Cheng’s bride. Aren’t you tired of making a fuss every single time?”
“Are you trying to say you don’t want to be king anymore, is that what you are trying to say?” Queen Anjali asked.
“Do you want the truth? I never wanted to be king mother. You were the one who filled my head with the nonsense authority I was going to have if I become king. I know you care about me, but let’s stop right here and now. It’s not compulsory that the first prince should be made King” Thiago said and leaves the room.
“I…I will just go with him” Supriya stuttered and went after Thiago.
Queen Anjali clenched her fists, and her neck veils popped out, indicating how angry she was.

⟨ CHENG’S ROOM ≈ NEXT DAY ⟩
“You are finally awake” Tatiana said to Cheng with a smile on her face as she walked closer to him.
She sits beside him and touched his forehead.
“Your temperature is back to normal, it was so high last night. Why did you faint after saving the children?” Tatiana asked.
“So it wasn’t a dream?” Cheng asked as his eyes became misty.
“No Cheng, it wasn’t a dream. You actually save the children from the burning house and everyone praised you for it” Tatiana said.
“Reall, They did?” Cheng asked as tears falls down his eyes.
“Yes Cheng. But why are you crying?” Tatiana asked.
Cheng sniffed back his tears, cleaning his w-et face with the back of his hand.
“Sorry Tiana. I just got so emotional. This is the first time I have done something good with my powers, this is the first time I saved lives, rather than destroying and hurting lives, and this is the first time people loved me for being a demon” He said crying, and Tatiana hits the back of his head.
“Why did you hit me Tiana?” He asked with watery eyes.
“First time people loved you of being a demon? Are you minusing me out? I have loved you despite knowing you are a demon. Didn’t I continue loving you despite the numbers of times you tried to hurt me? And even when you can’t remember our childhood moment together, I still loved you. I have seen you transformed into a demon thousands of times, but my feelings for you didn’t change. So how can you say this is the first time people loved you for being a demon? You should have said is the second time people loved you for being a demon, because I loved you first” Tatiana said.
“Are you mad at me for saying such?” He asked calmly.
“Yes I am. So angry that I feel like smacking your head again” Tatiana said squeezing her face.
“Come here” He said spreading his hands wide open for her, but Tatiana scoffed folding her hands under her bre-ast s.
Cheng smiled and snuggle closer to her, wrapping his arms around her body.
“Tiana”
“My name is Tatiana since you have decided to minus me out of being the first person that loved you” Tatiana said trying to free herself from his arms, but Cheng tighten his arms around her.
“Stop being so fussy. Why should I described you as people, when you are my life?” He said and Tatiana smile.
“Really? I am your life?” She asked smiling.
“Yes Tiana. So don’t be mad at me because I already know you love me, and I love you so much too” He said kis-sing her hair and Tatiana smiled.
“The whole of Maelstrom are talking about you Cheng. It’s spreading more wildly than when they discovered you have a demon living inside of you. They pasted lots of pictures about you, saying you are a hero, and you are fit to be king” Tatiana said.
“Really?” Cheng asked.
“Yes Cheng. Everyone in Maelstrom knows about what you did last night, even Swati came here to inquire if the hearsays are true. They don’t hate you anymore Cheng” Tatiana said, and Cheng smiled looking so happy.

Zain’s face showed lots of anger as he looked at Cheng’s picture that was pasted in the wall.
“I guess you might be the one who killed my mother. If the hearsays about you spreading around Maelstrom are true, then it means you might have a hand in what happened to my mother” Zain said.
He unglued the paper from the wall, and squee-zeit so tightly.
Zain went the woods and sees Narmada waiting for him. He stood without making an attempt to go to her. Narmada saw and smiled at him.
“Zain” She said going to him. She hug-ged him, but Zain didn’t hug her back.
Narmada broke the hug and looked at him. “What’s wrong Zain, you look angry, is everything ok?” She asked looking worried.
Zain sighed and place his hands on her shoulder.
“Is nothing Narmada” He said.
“No you are lying. I know when you’re happy and when you are sad. So tell me Zain what’s wrong?” She said caressing his face.
“Have you hear the hearsays about Prince Cheng?” He asked, and Narmada’s heart skipped in fear.
She cleared her throat and said in a low voice. “No I haven’t. What’s the hearsays” She asked like she doesn’t know what Zain was talking about.
“He saved children from the burning house. I also heard he destroyed the palace ten years ago when he became a demon” Zain said, and Narmada gulped down hard.
“Re… Really?” She asked.
“Yes. I didn’t know about what he did before because I was too ignorant of hearing about the hearsays going on in Maelstrom. If the hearsays are really true, then it means Prince Cheng killed my mother on the night he became a demon”.
“But we are not yet sure if he did it” Narmada said, trying to make Zain believe Cheng had nothing to do with his mother’s death.
“I think is true Narmada. I asked around, and I confirmed that he transformed into a demon and cause havoc on the night of the get-together of different kingdoms months ago. He would have killed lots of people if Tatiana who is now his bride, didn’t stop him. So it clearly means that he killed my mother years ago, and the royal family hid it from me” Zain said looking angry.
“But Zain…..
“There’s no but in this Narmada, you should be on my side, not trying to defend the royal family who hid the real truth concerning the death of my mother” Zain said.
“I am on your side Zain” Narmada managed to say, trying to hide how scared she was.
“I am going to make the entire royal family pay for what they did. I am going to kill each and everyone of them for hiding the truth about my mother’s death” Zain said, looking dead serious.
Narmada looked at him with so much trepidation in her eyes, she could foresee herself getting hurt soon for lying about her identity.
*What am I going to do?* She asked herself trying so ha-rd not to let her fear and tears known to Zain.

⟨ PALACE OF MAELSTROM ⟩
Jai is seen running trying to make his kite fly, he wasn’t watching his steps, so he stumbled on a stone, hurting his knee.
“This hurts so much” He said between pains.
“Did you hurt yourself?” Cheng asked approaching him.
“Brother Cheng!” He shrieked excitedly.
Cheng smiled at him, and squat in front of him.
“Does your knee hurts so much?” Cheng asked.
“Yes it does, but seeing you has ease the pain away” Jai said smiling.
“Really?”
“Yes. I like you a lot brother Cheng, I have always wanted to talk to you, but my mother keeps threatening to smack me if I talk to you” Jai said.
Cheng smiled and caressed his hair. “You remind me so much of my younger self”
“Really?” Jai asked and Cheng nodded.
“Then will you be a big brother to me, I don’t mind getting smacked by my mother anymore”
“Sure” Cheng said and heals Jai’s injured knee.
“Wow, how did you do that?” Jai asked smiling.
“There’s lots of things I can do with my powers”
“Then can you make my kite go higher into the sky?”
“That’s easy” Cheng said with a smile, he looked at the kite that was on the ground, and just by looking at the kite, its raised up from the ground, going up to the sky, flying.
“My kite is flying so high. You are a genius brother Cheng” Jai said jumping on his toes, looking so happy.
Thiago who have been watching them smiled. “I wished I was never a bad brother to Cheng. He’s making Jai happy, but I never made him (Cheng) happy while he was growing up. How bad of me” He said and sighed.

⟨ CHENG’S ROOM ⟩
Tatiana kept smiling as she combed her long hair, while looking at herself in the mirror.
But she let out a shocking gasps when she sees her body fading away.
“What happening to me?” She asked herself. She looked at herself in the mirror, and sees a tiny glowing creature, rather than her reflection.
And looking at the tiny glowing creature, she began getting her lost memories.
She could see herself as the tiny creature she was seeing in the mirror, guilding the forest and seven seas, and also performing white magic.
Her lost memories came back to her in a twinkle of an eye, and she could feel herself being stronger than before.
Her powers were back, likewise her lost memories.
“I am not human. I’m Gretchen, powerful guidance of the forest and seven seas” She said with tears falling down her eyes.
The palace head maid entered the room and She looked at her.
“Farris” She said, and the palace head maid transformed into a tiny creature.
She is Farris, guidance of the the stars and rain.
“You have finally regain your powers Gretchen, is time for you to leave the human world for good” Farris said and tears falls down Tatiana’s eyes.
