“The mistress is Pregnant” He blurted out and Lucian’s eyes wide-ned
“What?”
“She’s pregnant your majesty” The healer repeated
Minutes later,Matilda opened her eyes slowly. She was feeling a little bit weak but managed to open up more wide when she saw King Lucian standing by the window,he was staring out of the room.
She stared at him for a while before calling his attention
“My king” She called,making sure her voice sound extra weak
Lucian immediately turned back and their eyes met,he started walking closer to her. He got to her and fold his arms against his chest
“How are you feeling?” He asked
“Tired and weak,I’m sorry for making you worried” Matilda muttered
“You’re pregnant” King Lucian said and Matilda looked at him pretending to be shock
“I’m….I’m pregnant?” She stammered
“I guess you don’t know” Lucian said
“No my king,I don’t….”
“But how could you get pregnant?” King Lucian cut her off and she swallowed
“Why would you suddenly be pregnant? Does this even make any sense? How did it happen?”
“I understand your majesty,I know it’s unacceptable but trust me I never planned for this to happen,I think I missed my dose preventing me to get pregnant,it’s a mistake,I’m sorry” She broke into tears
King Lucian sighed and said nothing
“I will get rid of the baby” Matilda blurted out and Lucian faced her immediately
“You will do what?” He asked
“Get rid of it,I can’t keep the baby” Matilda said
“Are you crazy? Why would you do that?” Lucian snapped
Matilda bite her li-p and kept quiet
“I’m sorry” She muttered
“Then you should have prevented this from happening in the first place,you know how things are done. You’re just my mistress and nothing else,you’re not supposed to get pregnant and you know that!” Lucian yelled and Matilda flinched
It’s like the first time he will ever
yell at her
She started crying silently
“I’m sorry your majesty,I never meant to make you mad” she mumbled
“Get some rest,crying won’t change anything. And don’t think of getting rid of it” Lucian muttered before walking out of the suite
Matilda immediately wipe her tears and smiled
‘He’s angry,but I’m sure he wouldn’t have any choice soon’ she thought inwardly and touched her tummy
“You’re finally here” She muttered and lie back on the bed,her hand rubbing her tummy gently.

MAIDS QUARTER**
Adelaide sat up from the bed after rolling from one side of the bed to another for the umpteenth time,she let out a loud sigh.
She still couldn’t get Lucian out of her mind,she was thinking if he’s back from Matilda’s suite or not. What if they spend the night together??
She couldn’t understand why but she was so worried.
She got up from the bed and went out of the room.
As she walked out,she noticed another step going out.
‘Who’s that?’ Adelaide thought and slowly followed but almost immediately a heavy wind from nowhere started blowing around her that she couldn’t move. She had to cover her face to prevent it from entering her eyes,after a while the wind stopped and Adelaide ran out immediately.
It was silent already,only the light around the palace could be seen.
Adelaide sighed and turned back only to bump into Kai
“Oh my chest” Adelaide touched her chest
“Did I scare you?” Kai smiled
“Of course” Adelaide exhaled
“I’m sorry,where are you going? You can’t sleep?” Kai asked
“You got me” Adelaide muttered
“Then would you take a walk with me?” Kai asked and she nodded immediately
They started walking together,it was all silent until Kai hold her hand and she turned to him instantly
“I just feel like holding you” Kai said with a light smile
Adelaide took her li-p in and said nothing
“When are you going back?” She broke the silence
“To the academy?” Kai asked and Adelaide nodded
“Soon,but I still have enough time to spend with you” Kai said without thinking
“Huh?” Adelaide faced him
“I mean,you and Eleanor. I really missed you two a lot while I was there,so I want to spend enough time with you before going back” Kai said
“Seriously? Don’t tell me that’s the reason why you decided to come here” Adelaide said and Kai smiled
“You got me” He winked and Adelaide hit his arm
“Ouch”
“Are you crazy? How can you become a guard when you’re not even strong enough? What If something happen to you and you get hurt? Do you think I will be able to forgive you?? You’re such a dummy” Adelaide scolded
Kai smiled
“What,why are you smiling?” Adelaide frowned
“It’s so sweet listening to that,you’ve never scolded me,they sound so sweet in my ears” Kai said and Adelaide scoffed
“Are you even serious right now??” She said and chuckled
Kai stopped walking and pulled her into a hug
“I’m going to miss you so much if I go back” he muttered,touching her hair
Adelaide stood still without making any move,she just stayed that way. She suddenly saw King Lucian coming and her eyes wide-ned,he also saw her and immediately she pulled Kai away from herself
“What happened?” Kai asked and traced her gaze ,his eyes fell on Lucian
“Good evening your majesty” Kai greeted with a bow
Lucian ignored them both and walked away
Adelaide bite her bottom li-p and Kai’s eyes never move away from her
She faced him
“Let’s stop here,I’m feeling sleepy already” She said and he nodded
“Goodnight” Kai muttered
Adelaide nodded slowly and walked away
“What was that?” Kai muttered,staring at her until she went out of sight.

MIDNIGHT★IN THE WOODS**
The third deity appeared and her eyes roamed around watching the warriors walking around. She was invisible at the moment and none of them saw her,she suddenly vanished again and appeared somewhere else still around the woods.
Almost Immediately the smoke of Ubel showed up in the air ready to attack the warriors,The deity’s eyes turned red and stretched her hand toward the smoke,Ubel transformed immediately and fell right in front of her.
“Deity of destruction?” Ubel called
“I warned you enough Ubel,you know how much I hate people who doesn’t listen to me” The deity said
“You can’t destroy me and you know that,my remains are safe inside a human” Ubel laughed
“Why are you worried about that? I am the deity,I will surely find out,I will never allow you kill my creatures,evil witch” The deity said coldly
Ubel opened her mouth and a poisonous venom came out of her,The deity turned the venom into water and her red eyes shunned directly on Ubel’s body.
Ubel let out a loud scream as her body started burning until it turned into ashes and vanished into the air.
The deity disappeared

NEXT MORNING★PALACE**
“What? Matilda is pregnant?” Queen Sofia asked,looking surprised
“Yes my queen,the healer confirmed it last night” Esmeralda said
“Make sure this news doesn’t get to any other person or you will be in trouble” Queen Sofia said
“I understand my queen” Esmeralda bowed
“You can go”
Esmeralda left the suite and almost immediately Lisa entered
“Mother,what the h*ll did I just heard? Matilda is pregnant?!” She asked loudly
“You might want to bring your voice low dear princess” Queen Sofia roll her eyes
“What are you talking about mother,this is not right! Matilda can never get pregnant with my brother’s child,I’m sure that whore did this intentionally knowing fully that it’s not right,mother!” Lisa shouted
“So what do you expect me to do now?!! What!” Queen Sofia shouted back
“Mother……don’t….don’t tell me you’re trying to keep that child” Lisa shook her head
“We have no choice,the King’s child can never be ab-orted no matter what” Queen Sofia said
“Says who!” Lisa shouted angrily
“Lisa…..”
“Why can’t you see that she’s only after the queen’s title? She’s trying to use this pregnancy to hold brother down mother please let her get rid of the…..”
“The king won’t allow it either,he doesn’t want Matilda to get rid of it” Queen Sofia said
“Exactly,I knew it. Matilda know that brother is so soft and will never allow her to hurt an innocent soul,she did it intentionally. I mean,she’s a mistress,she know how she has always been doing it without getting pregnant,so why now?”
Queen Sofia sighed
“I swear I will make sure she loose that pregnancy” Lisa muttered and walked out,slamming the door angrily.

Matilda walked out of her suite with a bright smile playing on her li-ps,she stared down at her tummy and touched it.
The third deity was watching from afar with a cold look on her face,her eyes suddenly turned red as she stared at Matilda’s tummy. But before she could do anything,the first deity appeared
“You can’t do that” She said
“What is it sister” The third deity gro-aned
“You can’t spoil that pregnancy” The first deity said
“You and I know that child shouldn’t live…..”
“I know,but you’re not in any position to get rid of it. I am the creator and I know exactly what I am saying,you can’t allow a single mistake to destroy everything,so leave her alone and let her face her fate” the first deity said
They both vanished.
Matilda was still standing when Lisa got to her
“You slut!!! How dare you!!!!” She yelled and grabbed Matilda’s hair angrily
“Ahhh!!!!” Matilda screamed
“How dare you get pregnant? How dare you!!!!” Lisa yelled and continue dragging Matilda with her hair
“Die!!!!!!!!!!!!!” She screamed
“Help!!!! Someone help!” Matilda cried
“Shut up and die!!!” Lisa screamed,dragging her with all her power
Carl immediately rushed to the scene and went in between them
“Lisa!” He called out loudly and Lisa released Matilda’s hair while breathing heavily
Matilda glared at her
“How dare you interrupt me!!! Stay away!!” Lisa shouted and made to attack Matilda again
Carl carried her and throw her on his shoulder
“Drop me!!! Let me go!!!! I’m going to kill her!!!!!!!! Carl!!!! Drop me right now!!!!!!!!” Lisa kept on shouting and throwing her legs in the air as Carl took her away
They got to her suite and Carl entered,he dropped her on the floor
Almost immediately Lisa slapped him ha-rd on the face
“Don’t ever meddle in my business again,do you get that?!!!” She yelled and Carl nodded
“I’m sorry princess” he muttered and walked out
Lisa bite her li-ps and sat down regretting ever slapping Carl
“I shouldn’t have slapped him” She mumbled and bite her nail
She rou-ghher hair but when she remembered Matilda,she became angry again
“That witch,I will kill her!! I will make sure she lost that child,I will never allow my brother to get close to her” She said

PALACE GARDEN**
Eleanor hummed to herself as she watered the flowers
“I wonder where Adelaide is,we should be doing this together” She muttered
She suddenly heard a tree shaking and she looked up,almost immediately someone jumped down from the tree
“Ahh!” Eleanor screamed and fell on the ground,she was surprised to see Jimmy
“Jimmy?” She called
“Do I look like an a-ssa-ssin?” Jimmy asked
Eleanor shook her head and tried getting up
“Ouch” She mo-an-ed painfully
“Are you okay?” Jimmy asked
“I think my ankle got sprained” Eleanor muttered
“Seriously? Then it’s my fault for scaring you” Jimmy said and offered her his hand
She grabbed his hand and he pulled her up
“Can you walk?” Jimmy asked
“I’m going to limp” Eleanor muttered
Jimmy held her hand and crossed it around his neck,his other hand holding her wa-istas they started walking out of the garden
“What were you doing on the tree?” Eleanor asked
“Nothing” Jimmy said
“Should I just carry you instead?” He asked and Eleanor’s eye wide-ned
“Huh?”
“You’re going too slow” Jimmy said and almost carried her
“What do you think you’re doing?” Kai appeared and glared at Jimmy
“Kai” Eleanor called
“What do you mean? Are you blind to see that I’m helping her?” Jimmy asked
“Then thank you,you’re going to carry her? What a joke,leave her alone. I will take her from here” Kai said
“This happened to her because of me so back off” Jimmy said and tried to carry Eleanor again
“I said stop!” Kai yelled and they started glaring at each other
Eleanor was confused
“Jimmy” She called and Jimmy faced her
“You can drop me” She mumbled
“Better” Kai scoffed and moved closer,he pulled Jimmy off from Eleanor’s side and carried her in a bridal style,he shot Jimmy a glare again before walking away
“Seriously?” Jimmy scoffed.

“What was that about?” Eleanor asked when Kai dropped her on the bed
“What do you mean?” Kai asked
“You almost fought with Jimmy….”
“That guy look like a pervert to me” Kai scoffed
“Really? Then your reason is lame Kai,how do you know a pervert just by looking at them?” Eleanor roll her eyes
“I’m a guy too,,you and Adelaide are really special to me okay? So just stay away from him,get some rest” Kai said and walked away

KING’S CHAMBER**
King Lucian’s eyes were on Adelaide as she helped him dress up,it was so silent between them and he suddenly grew worried just by staring at her
“Are you unwell?” King Lucian asked,breaking the silence
“No your majesty,I’m fine” Adelaide replied
“Why were you here last night? You have something to Say?” He asked and Adelaide looked up right into his eyes
She didn’t know when she started tearing up,taking the king by surprise
“Adelaide” he called
“It’s because…….I missed you so much your majesty” She said and sniffed
“I’m so sad because……you don’t seem to care about my existence any longer and it hurts so much. I really missed you alot my king” Adelaide said in tears
“If you’re avoiding me because……”
“I missed you too” King Lucian interrupted her and she stopped
“I missed you alot” He added and Adelaide let out a sad smile
“Then please,don’t neglect me ever again” She muttered and touched his cheek
She slowly went on her toes and pressed her li-ps on his own
She grabbed his hand and placed it on her wa-istwhile Lucian de-epened the ki-ss even more.
