Episode 4
Body….what? I was confused
“Miss Gem….sorry am late…did anyone bully you?” he asked.
Everyone was shock….how can a handsome man who is fit to be a model or an idol be standing here as a bodyguard.
“uhmm….uhmm….I…uh” I didn’t know what to say….I mean a bodyguard came out of nowhere……
“Let’s go Miss” he said and drag me with him.
He push me in a flashy car and drove a few distance before he stopped and handed me a file.
“Sign it….and I’d officially be your bodyguard” he said “Sign it before I change my mind”
Without thinking I signed the file. He collected it.
“So my salary is 40 thousand *******”
“What!!!!” I yelled “That’s too expensive Mr., that’s like almost my salary…..”
“Well you’ve already signed the file….so it’s too late to complain. My stuffs are in my car so……”
“Your car…..you mean this baby is your?” I asked and he nodded proudly
“Wow…..my bodyguard is quite richer than me……” I said in jealousy.
“So I was saying…..I’d be moving in with you” he said
“That okay….I live in my family house….” I said
“Let’s go first I have to freshen up….after that we’ll discuss” he said and I nodded.
When we got home. I gave him the room beside mine.
It was once my room until I was driven to live in the basement. Now am using mom’s room so I’d lend him mine.
Leon got inside the room and it was like a princess room he frown.
“I got lots to do up here” he murmured. While he was busy cleaning and arranging the room his phone rang.
“Kelvin….yes am in…..”
“You have to be careful dude… she most not know she’s out bait” Kelvin said
“Don’t worry….don’t you trust me?, now am in I’d find a way to use her well” Leon said
“It’s be much easier if she fall in love with you….how’s that?” Kelvin asked
“Sounds good” Leon replied
“But how can you make her fall?” he asked
“Ha piece of cake…..” Leon replied.
Just then a knock was heard from the door. Leon quickly put away his phone and said.
“Come in” he said and I walked in with a wide smile which disappeared when I entered the once called princess room, it now look plain and like a knight room. There was so many package boxes on the floor.
“Wow……!!” I said.
“Sorry kitten….I just did some cleaning….do you like it?” he asked
“It’s fine it’s fine” I saw and he smiled….I loved that smile….’what…what’s wrong with me?’
“So kitten…let’s talk” he said
“Huh?, kitten….are you referring to me?” I asked and he nodded
“The file you signed says I can call you any pet name if my choice” he said look innocent
“What???!!!!!!!!!, let me read that file of yours….I don’t believe you” I said and he handed me the file. I fli-p it open and bang……

I coughed and coughed, my face was red and flushed…..I look at Leon only to see him smiling innocently.
“W ..what’s this?” I asked.
“A contract….let’s talk” he said. “Tell me exactly what you nee-d protection from?”.
“My family…..oh I forgot to warn you….you most not nee-d or look or talk or do anything concerning my sister…..she’s the famous goddess Jolene…” I said and he smiled again melting my bones.
“Don’t worry….am all yours….” he said seductively and I cough even ha-rder.
‘this is much easier than I thought, she’s falling for me already’ Leon thought.
“I….I didn’t mean it like that!!” I said
“like what?, I didn’t say anything, did I?” he said, I almost cough out blood.
“I….I have to go” I stood up and ran out.
‘Shes cute’ he thought and smiled even more.
Jolene, Marie and father came home talking. Leon was outside viewing the environment.
“Huh?, did you get a new worker honey?” asked Marie
“No….I didn’t” he answered
“Then who is that handsome young fella?” she asked. See them looking at him Leon walk up to them and greet them. Jolene was drawn to his beauty.
“Leon!!!, Leon!!!” I called and saw him standing with my family, why was he standing with them????.
“Who are you young man?” he asked, before Leon could answer he felt a little hand drag him back and a tiny body stood in front of him, it was like she was trying to protect him from her family.
“He is my bodyguard” she said.
“What!!!, he’s the guy that beat up my men mom” Jolene protested.
“Nice to meet you all am Leon” he bowed.
“Don’t be nice to them” I said facing him.
“Miss Gem….I….” before Leon could say anything again Gem grab his hands and drag him along with her………….

I was so angry. I don’t know why but I just was. My heart felt sour to see Leon talking to my family.
“Kitten?…” he called and I stop in track. And stob my feet in anger.
“Don’t call me that!!”
“You look even cute when you are angry…..” he said
“Don’t call me cute…., am your boss, you work for me….and….and….I’ll tell you what to do….you must not talk to anyone except me …..” I yelled.
“Wow….wow…came down kitten…I was just being polite to your family”
“They are not my family…..” I yelled I didn’t know even know I was crying. Until his hands caress my cheeks wiping my tears
“Don’t cry kitten….am here for you….don’t be sad…am here to protect you….I won’t talk to them anymore if you don’t want to…” he said with a soft voice.
“Am sorry…..ex… excuse me…” I was so embr@ced….why should I cry in front of him.
I know I’ve never been this close to an opposite s-×. I guess that’s why my body is behaving like this.
Leon went to his room and made a call.
“Kelv….hahaha….this girl is such an easy catch….I can swear it’s working….if I can make her fall then I can use her to get what I want…..”
“See bro?, I told you this will work….so how’s it?”
“She’s already blus-hing…..I’ll tease her a bit tonight…..bye….call you later” Leon ended the call…as Jolene can in with a cu-p of coffee on her hands.
“Hi” she said with a charming smile. Leon smiled back ‘Damn she’s hot’ he said.
“You’re new here….sorry our first meeting was not too nice….I brou-ght a cu-p of coffee to apologise for my actions” she said
“No…no it’s alright” Leon said and collected the coffee “Thanks”
“Okay….uhm if you nee-d anything don’t hesitate to tell me, oops don’t let Gem know” she said
“Uhm why?” he asked.
Jolene made an angel face “she thinks am bad….” she started crying….”I mean all I’ve ever done was for her…she still thinks I stole all her friends and took them as mine…..she’s quite tiring…”
“Don’t cry….am sure she’ll un-derstand you someday….but for now I think you should live” Leon face turned cold as he saw her motives.
“What!!” she said
“Do I have to push you out?” he yelled and Jolene crush her fist.
“You bastard…this is my father’s house…ok ok….I know what you nee-d…..guards!!!!” she yelled and 5men ran in. “Beat him up….but don’t spoil his handsome face…..I love looking at it” she said and smiled.
Just then Gem walked into the room.
“Jolene….what the hell are you doing!!!!???” I yelled.
“Shut up slut!!!!” Marie came in.
“You shamelessly brou-ght a man into your father’s house….don’t you have shame?” she yelled.
“Gem….. henceforth I disown you….you are no more my daughter…….I should have done this a long time ago but Marie here begged on your behalf…..Today not anymore……you’re a disgrace” father yelled.
In tears…..I said “What wrong did I do?, is it my fault that my mother died while giving birth to me??, why do you hate me so much?. Fine….you disown me…..I’ll go….I’ll leave…..but me and my dead mother will never forgive you…..”
“Your mother is not dead!!!” Jolene cut in.
“Jolene shut it!!!” mom yelled
“No Mom it’s time she knows the truth…..dad is not your biological father too……” she yelled.
“Jolene!!!!” father yelled, “Stop spitting trash”
“No dad…..am tired of living like an adopted child….while she’s the adopted one……yes Gem you’re an orphan…..” she yelled.
I felt my legs weak…..I almost fell back but Leon hold me from falling.
“I’ve tried for you Gem….you should go now….., guards….throw her things out….and that of her bodyguard” father said.
I lean unto Leon the whole time….I was in great shock….I wasn’t myself…..
Leon lead Gem outside the mansion.
“Kitten……what do we……” she fainted and was about falling but Leon cut her…. “Kitten……Gem…..Gem…..!!!” he yelled.
Leon quickly took his phone and made a call…. before 5minutes men on black suit filled everywhere in the compound with flashy cars.
Leon carried Gem in.
“Sir are we taking her to the hospital??” the man asked.
“No…… drive to my house and call my personal doctor over” Leon said……………………

Kelvin ran over to Leon’s house.
“Bro…what’s up?” he asked.
“She’s upstairs” he answered
“you brou-ght her home….dude are you insane….what if she finds out your identity?” Kelv said
“She won’t….she’s too naive and easy to fool….she will surely believe whatever I say” Leon said
“So what do you plan to do with her?” Kelv asked.
“She seems special…I don’t know but there is something unique about her….her aura is strong” he said
“I don’t get you?” Kelvin cut in.
“The IV kept an orphan in their care…don’t you think it’s suspicious?” Leon said
“So what is your plan?” Kelv asked again
“Am going to find her identity and use her” Leon said with a sm-irk
“Ooh….so you still want to fli-rt with her…..what about Treasure?(Leon’s fiancee)” Kelv asked
But Leon’s face darkened with hearing her name.
“what about her?”
“Well……..she….”
“I don’t want to hear….I’ll go catch on kitten” Leon said about to go.
“Kitten?….you gave her a pet name already?, bro do you like this girl?” Kelv asked in surprise
“Not like….I just find her cute….don’t mislead me….now get going” Leon said.

Jolene was kneeling in front of her grandfather and her parents sitting on a sofa with their head low.
“You little br@t….I’ve always told you your mouth will put us in trouble!!!” the old man yelled
“But grandpa……!!!”
“shut up……how could you let Jolene….talk to Gem about been adopted….in first of her!!!!!!, you know that girl is very important to our business….if she knows who she is we are doom!!!” the old man yelled
“Father…..Gem will never find out who she is….she was still a baby when her parents died….she can’t possibly remember and besides it’s high time we dump her” Marie said
“Shut up your miserable mouth!!, if only you have controlled this daughter of yours then nothing would have happened!!”.
“Dad what’s done is done….that child is out of our lives….her fortunes and that of her late family is now ours……” he said.
“Dad don’t worry….I’ll make sure I take care of her….” Marie said.

I woke up and viewed my surrounding. I Rob my eyes.
“Were am I?” I tried to remember how I got here but I don’t seem to remember.
“Aww…see whose awake….my little kitten!!” I heard a voice.
“Leon!!!??” I said and jump from the bed. “Were am I?, how did we get here?, did Jolene guys hurt you?, did they kidnap us?, how did we get here?, are you…….”
“Kitten relax…. everything is fine….we are safe…..stop all your questions” he said and caress my cheeks.
“Am…am scared” I said as tears gather in my eyes
“Am I not your bodyguard….don’t worry I won’t let harms come your way” he said with a smile. Seeing his smiling face I felt relaxed
“But we’re are we?” I asked
“Oh…..this is my friends house….he’s very rich….he let me stay here all I want so don’t worry” he said “Take a rest….*
“No I can’t stay here…. I’ll…. I’ll go live with Ruth” I said
Leon can’t just let her out of his sight…..”You’ll put Ruth in danger if you go live with her….I won’t be able to protect you….your stepmom must be planning how to hurt you….” he paused and walk closer to me with a worried look on his face and touch my cheeks again…..”Stay here… kitten….” he said seductively……I was falling for him I know but…..I had to hold back.
“Okay” I answered and walk away from him. “Am hungry…..I want to eat” I said.
Leon was surprised wasn’t she supposed to be cry right now because of what her family did to her…..she look happy and act like nothing happened.
I ate to my satisfaction.
“I have a scene tomorrow with Jolene….I’ll be going to the set” I said.
“I’ll arrange for that kitten” he said.
“Okay….bye you can go now” I said trying to lye down.
“You’re not to tell me what to do….” he said.
“What!??, Ha….Mr b..o..d..y..g..u..a..r..d…am the boss here, so you don’t tell me what to do!!” I said but surprisingly he smiled.
“But the file you signed say so…..” he said and handed ma a file.
“What’s that…what again what??!!!” I yelled
“See for yourself boss” he pointed at the file
7. “I will always do as my bodyguard pleases” I read aloud.
“W…w..what’s this!!!!???” I yelled feeling hot. What he pleases….like if he pleases to…….no…no I can’t think of that…..
“So kitten…..be a good little kitten and listen to daddy” he said teasingly……
“Get away from me…..I don’t want a bodyguard anymore…… you’re…you’re fired” I yelled walking back as he was walking towards me…..”Stay back”
“Tsk tsk tsk unfortunately kitten you can’t fire me. Am going to leave you whenever I want to….but not tonight” he said and press me to the wall. He brou-ght his height low as his li-ps landed on my ne-ck. A sweet peck hit my ne-ck and I felt my breath go heavy.
Leon smiled seeing this little cutey was really falling to his palm. He drew back and said to me.
“Rest now kitten….you have a long day tomorrow”…
