Evelyn’s Pov:
I was on the be-d when I heard a knock,I sat up almost immediately and checked the time,it’s late. So who is it??
Gosh,
These days I’ve developed silly fears,am sure it’s not Zara,then who??
” It’s me Evelyn” The voice said and I calmed down
It’s mother,,I stood up and went to open the door. She smiled the moment I opened,,
” Mother,what are you doing here? It’s late,,” I said going back in
” I’m not coming in,just want to check on you. Are you okay now? Or do you want me to stay with you tonight?” She asked
” Go stay with your husband mother ” I tea-sed and she smiled
” But you’re my child,anyway I’m glad you’re okay now.” she said
” Thanks mother,,goodnight” I said
She nodded and then turned to leave,,I sighed and closed the door back.
Right now,I want the night to pas-s by fas-ter than this.
I la-id on the be-d but still couldn’t get any sleep,I keep on rolling from one side of the be-d to another. My head is filled with the vampire’s thoughts,,
I think he did something to me,I can’t even get him off my mind. I sighed,,,next time he show up I’m definitely gonna talk to him,,
Okay now,why am I talking about him showing up? I don’t want him to come here again right?
Geez,
I’m not even sure if I don’t want to see him,

Writer’s Pov:
As Lamia la-id in coffin,he couldn’t rest. He couldn’t get to sleep,he could hear her voice all over his head,she was thinking about him.
“That human” Lamia growled and sat up
She was thinking about him and he could hear everything,,
‘Why am I thinking about him?’
‘Will he come here this night?’
‘No,,,no,,,no!!!’
Lamia held his head as he continue to hear her thoughts,he wasn’t planning to go to her but he couldn’t sleep.
“Why does human think so much? Why can’t she just sleep and let others sleep too??” He gro-an ed and disappeared almost immediately.

He appeared right in Evelyn’s room,,he stood there for a minute watching as she rolled on the be-d still thinking.
” Hey human,,can you just sleep and stĀ©p thinking?? You’re disturbing me” Lamia spoke up
Evelyn was shocked when she heard the voice,,she turned and her eyes bec@mĀ£ broad.
“You,,,”
” Sleep” Lamia cut her off in his usual cold voice and face.
” Why?”Evelyn replied and Lamia raised his brow up
No one has ever question or disobeyed him,definitely not going to start from this human right?
” You nee-d to sleep now,,because you’re ma-king me restless” Lamia said
” But,,,how??”She asked again gently
” I don’t nee-d to answer your question,just sleep ” Lamia gro-an ed
Evelyn immediately la-id back on the be-d,,she closed her eyes.
‘I can’t sleep now’
‘What if he kill me ?’
She was scared
Lamia shook his head and had no choice than to use his power on her,,
“Sleep Evelyn” And just like that,she fell into a sound sleep.
Lamia took one last glance at her as she sleep peacefully,,
“Just stay here for now,,I’m taking you soon” he muttered and then disappeared into thin air.

Lamia stared at the vampire guards in front of him explaining how some enemies have been manipulating their clutch,,after their explanation be spoke up.
” Just kill them and bring me their blood ” He said coldly and walked out
Amber cleared her throat and joined him as he walk
” We nee-d to talk son” She said
” About what ??” Lamia asked
” Where you’ve been disappearing to all these days,is there any secret about it?” Amber asked
” You don’t have to worry,I won’t be going there anytime soon ” Lamia replied and walked away.

Evelyn took a de-ep breath in front of the mirror as the maids dressed her up,finally it’s her wedding day.
The day everyone have been waiting for,,
To Evelyn,today is the best day of her life. She’s getting married to the man she loves,,
” My princess,you look so beautiful” One of the maids said
” Thank you so much” Evelyn replied and then looked at Zara from the mirror
Her face was so dull
” Zara ,,are you okay??” Evelyn asked
” I’m fine my lady” Zara replied almost in tears
” No you’re not,,,you all are done right? You can go now,,thanks” Evelyn told the other maids and they left leaving her with Zara
” Tell me what’s wrong”
” I’m just happy for you my lady,,,but,,,I am equally sad ” Zara replied
” Why are you sad??”
” You’re leaving,,,which means you’re leaving me behind too. I’m going to miss you alot my lady ” Zara said and wiped her tears
” Seriously Zara,,you have a lot of water in your eyes. Anyway,,I’m not leaving you here,,I spoke with Charles alre-ady. We are going together,trust me ” Evelyn said and Zara’s face brighten up immediately
” My lady,,are you serious??”
” Of course ”
Zara jumped and hvgged her happily,
” Thank you so much my lady”
” It’s 20 minutes until you’re called my lady,,,but am done ” Zara said
” Thanks,,never believed I am as pretty as this ” Evelyn said tapping her face
” Oh not again,,,,” they were both interrupted by the sudden knock on the door.
The two ladies stĀ©pped talking,,,
” I will take it” Zara stood up and walked to the door
She opened and it revealed Prince Charles,,
” Your highness” Zara bowed
” Charles?? What are you doing here?? You’re not suppose to come here ” Evelyn said shyly
” I will leave the room for now” Zara bowed again and left the room
Charles moved closer to Evelyn
” You look amazing sweetheart” He said and pe-cked her cheek
” Thanks,but why are you here?? Shouldn’t you be waiting for me?”
“I want to talk to you ” Charles replied
” About what??”
” I can’t tell you here,,come with me ” Charles said
” But,,,we have just few minutes until everything starts,,”
” You trust me right??”
Evelyn sighed and nodded
“Let’s make it snappy ” She said with a smile as she got up.
Charles held her hand as they walked out of the room.

They got to the far end of the palace when Evelyn stĀ©pped,,
“Come on Charles,where are we going??” She looked up but was shocked to see who was beside her.
It was Lamia
” You,,,,” She muttered slowly
Lamia tried tou-ching her but she snapped his hand off
” Don’t tĀ©uƧh me,,,plea-se,,,,” She snapped and pas-sed out immediately.

Evelyn moved on the be-d sleepily not opening her eyes,,she tĀ©uƧhed the be-d slowly and opened her eyes. She looked round the room and bec@mĀ£ confused for some minutes before she remembered what happened.
“Wait,,I’m getting married today right?” She asked herself and sat up from the be-d still not getting it,,but then she remembered seeing the vampire guy.
She g@sped and jumped down from the be-d starring at the whole room which was so large with a lot of dark painting.
Her heart beat increa-sed,,,
“Mom,,,Dad,,,Charles,,oh no” She muttered at the point of tears as she sat down on the floor with her face buried on her palms
Soon she heard the door opened and she looked up,,Lamia entered followed by Akantha whose face was filled with smiles unlike Lamia’s face which always look so cold and blank.
“Wow,,she’s the one?” Akantha asked Lamia and smiled even though she got no reply
Evelyn moved backward as he approached her,,
“Don’t come closer” she said and he stĀ©pped
She looked at him in fear and sadly at the same time,,
“Where is this place? Why did you bring me here?? I’m getting married today,,why did you bring me here? plea-se take me back,,plea-se” She said in tears
Lamia didn’t say a word,,he turned back and left the room.
Akantha grinned and moved closer to Evelyn who was in tears alre-ady,,
“You nee-d to stĀ©p crying,it doesn’t suit you” Akantha said wiping off her tears
“I want to go back home,,plea-se I can’t stay here” Evelyn pleaded
“I’m sorry,,,but,,,you won’t be leaving anytime soon” Akantha said and Evelyn looked up in shock as tears rolled down her eyes
“Huh? What,,what am I doing here?” Evelyn asked
“You will know later,,but I think,,you must be hungry right??” Akantha asked
“No,,I am fine.” Evelyn replied with a sigh
“I will check on you later,,take care”Akantha tĀ©uƧhed her hair and left the room
Evelyn sniffed thinking about how the palace would be without her presĀ£nce,,they are probably going to be worried to death.
“Charles,,,,” she muttered wra-pping her arms together.

The whole palace was silent,only the weeping coming from the queen could be heard,,she stood up immediately as King Albert entered with Charles beside him who was looking worried at the same time.
The princess was kidnapped,few minutes before their marriage,who the hell could have done that??
” Where is my child? Have you gotten her back?” Queen Naomi asked
” We haven’t,,plea-se calm down. I will sort it out,,,”
” For how many days?? Who knows where she is right now? What if those people are killers? What if they hurt my child?? Oh baby” She broke into tears and fell on the floor again.
King Albert sighed and moved closer to her
” I promise to bring her back,,stĀ©p crying. She will be found safely,,the guards are out there alre-ady” he patted her but she wouldn’t stĀ©p crying.
King Albert turned back to Charles,,
“You also nee-d a rest Charles,you can go on and take a rest for now until we get the news from the guards,it’s getting late alre-ady” King Albert said to Charles
Charles sighed sadly
” I promise to be back first thing in the morning your highness,,I can’t wait to have Evelyn back. And am going to do everything I could to bring her” Charles said
King Albert sighed and tĀ©uƧhed his shoulder
“Don’t worry too much,,and thanks” He said
“You don’t have to thank me,,I love her so much and I will do anything for her”Charles replied

IN ANOTHER PALACE āļø
As Charles la-id on the be-d,he was restless and couldn’t stĀ©p thinking about Evelyn wondering what would be happening to her at that moment.
He wouldn’t survive it if anything happens to her,,he gro-an ed and stood up.
He walked out of his room and went downstairs to the wine bar ,,
He was there for some minutes until someone showed up behind him,,
“Are you okay brother” her sister Lillie asked worriedly
“How do you expect me to be fine when we haven’t seen Evelyn yet? Of courae am not” Charles replied and Lillie joined him.
“I un-derstand,,I know you love her so much. But still you nee-d to calm down,,she will be fine okay?” Lillie said and tapped his shoulder
“I’m even more worried when her maid said it was me who c@mĀ£ in when she left,,I didn’t even leave the wedding venue until we heard that she was nowhere to be found” Charles sighed and sipped from his wine
“Wow,,so,does that mean someone took her away using your identity and face?” Lillie asked
“That’s crazy,isn’t it?” He shook his head
“I won’t forgive myself if anything happens to her,,I won’t”
“plea-se,,don’t hurt yourself. I have a strong feeling that she’s fine. Okay?” Lillie said

Evelyn jĀ£rked immediately the door opened,,her heart began racing again but was calmed when she saw a woman and not him.
The woman look somehow cool,,she walked to her
“Hey beauty,,,are you okay?” Amber asked
Evelyn shook her head..
“I’m not okay??” She replied and Amber smiled
“I un-derstand,but you will be fine.”
“Can you tell me why he bought me here? Is he planning to kill me?? plea-se I don’t want to die now,,,I nee-d to go back home,,I’m getting married”Evelyn said
“What? Getting married??” Amber asked looking surprised
“I should get married today,,but he took me and brou-ght me here,,I don’t want to die plea-se” Evelyn pleaded in tears
“He’s not killing you,,stĀ©p talking that way”Amber said
“So,,why am I here??” She asked
“Because,,you shouldn’t get married to someone else. You two would be hurt in the end because you’re not meant for each other” Amber said and tĀ©uƧhed Evelyn’s hair
“Hurt?? That’s not true,,Charles and I love each other,,”
“Humans love changes,,” Amber smiled
Evelyn shook her head
“What’s your name?” Amber asked
“Evelyn”She replied looking into her eyes
‘Vampires are truly beautiful’ She thought
“You still haven’t tell me why am here” Evelyn demanded
“I can’t tell you,,”
” plea-se,,,plea-se I want you know. I can’t even ask him,,his face is not plea-sant to look at” Evelyn pleaded
“He brou-ght you here,,because,,,you’re his mate” Amber said and Evelyn felt a loud ban-g in her head
“What?? Ma,,ma,,mate??” She asked to be sure of what she just heard
“That’s right,,,and you have to stay together before it’s too late. I’m happy he found you anyway,,”. Amber smiled
“Am I dreaming right now? How can I be a vampire’s mate? That’s not true,,I am not his mate,,plea-se”
“There’s nothing you can do Evelyn,,,it’s reality” Amber concluded and then walked out
Evelyn broke into tears
Her fantasies are becoming real,so real that she’s scared.
“Oh lord,,,plea-se help me” she muttered and buried her face into her palms
