” My lady!!!!” The guards shouted and immediately gr@bb£d her before she landed on the ground.
” Evelyn?? Evelyn!!” Kadence screamed out,
” I think she lost consciousness,,we nee-d to take her back to the palace” One of the guards said and he immediately carried her on his back
” I think am in trouble,,it was me who insisted on coming here,gosh what have I done??” Kadence cried
” She will be fine ” The guards as-sured as they left for the palace.

In a large libr@ry filled with dark books,a young girl sat down holding a book and muttering some words at the same time with her eyes closed.
” O Dea tenebris
Mater immortalibus
Puer tuus fac me sicut renascentur
Mea lux vestra absorbere
Liceat mihi locus ad tenebr@s,,,,,,,,,
She was interrupted when the door opened all of a sudden,,
Akantha opened her eyes and it was all red like a fire,blood dropped from her eyes and then her nose.
She looked up at the person angrily
” What the hell?!!!” She yelled
” I am sorry my lady,,” Alessandro pleaded immediately
She wiped her nose and eyes,
” What do you want to disturb me during my spell moment??” Akantha asked
” His majesty is back ” Alessandor broke the news
” Brother is back?” She asked instantly and he nodded
Akantha stood up and dropped the black book before rushing out of the libr@ry,,as she ran up the castle,she tried getting into his head but it’s not connecting. She let out a gro-an ,,she can only appear in his suit if they are connected.
She had to run all along up the castle,,finally she got to his suit. Two guards looking fierce,,
” Is brother in??” Akantha asked
” He wouldn’t want to be disturbe-d right now” One of them said
” You don’t have any right to st©p me,,move!” She yelled
The two guards immediately made way for her and she went in.
She entered the suit,,firstly a living room looking beautiful but all darkened in color,even though it was set so amazingly,it’s still odd. Another side was a king sized be-d which made Akantha scoffed wondering why the be-d was still there when he doesnt even use it.
She walked further into a separate room in the suite knowing fully he was there at that moment.
The door opened and it expo-sed a large coffin in a large empty odd room,,it looked like another world entirely
Just the coffin and two candles standing on each side of the coffin,the cloud out of the room look so dark and the moon shines right into the room even though its day time. Stars too all around the coffin
” Brother,,,,,,,” Akantha called but st©pped
” Your highness” She corrected herself
Almost immediately there was a loud wind from nowhere which covered the coffin and it opened. He sat up in the coffin and Akantha turned her face away to avoid his eyes even though it was covered.
No one dares look at his face in that situation,,,his red eyes which calls out fire anytime he’s angry could be seen easily. No one dares look into his eyes! It’s a flaming fire.
He turned still inside the coffin and faced Akantha whose head was still bowed.
” Why are you disturbing my sleep?” Lamia’s voice c@m£ up
The words which can be heard once in a while,,he doesn’t talk much,,he prefer giving his judgment throu-gh actions. Sometimes,,even his mother finds it ha-rd to know what he’s thinking about.
” I’m,,,sorry brother. I was just worried about your abs£nce,I was glad when Alessandro informed me about your arrival ” Akantha replied
She looked up and wasn’t surprised to see him right in front of her,,he was normal looking again.
” What about mother??” Lamia asked
” She’s worried dead alre-ady,,” Akantha smiled
He nodded heading out of the coffin room,,Akantha followed him closely as he walks out of his suite.
The guards at the door bowed immediately
He looked at them angrily and immediately they lost consciousness,,Akantha g@sped watching as the guards bec@m£ motionless on the floor.
She looked at Lamia,,,
” Brother,,,” She called unable to finish her words
” I told them not to allow anyone in but they disobeyed” Lamia muttered and disappeared into thin air
Akantha sat down weakly,she tried fighting her tears but couldn’t. It was all her fault,,she was the one who yelled at them and interrupted her brother. But he only punished them for her sin.
” Oh goddess of darkness,,” She muttered tou-ching them even though she knew she can never do anything to save them especially when it’s from Lamia.
” I promise to save you guys,,just stay here for a while” Akantha muttered like they could hear her.
She got up and ran downstairs,,she rushed into Amber’s room
” Mother!!” She cried out the moment she entered but st©pped when she saw Lamia with her.
” What is it Akantha?” Amber asked
Akantha gulped down trying to avoid Lamia’s face
” Tell me what’s happening” Amber requested
” Two guards,,,were manipulated ” Akantha muttered
” By who?”
” Brother,,,because of me. ” Akantha said
Amber turned to Lamia who doesn’t seem to be interested in whatever she was saying.
” I nee-d to go somewhere ” Lamia mumbled before Amber could speak up and he disappeared immediately
Akantha sighed and fell on the floor in a complete guilt.

Evelyn’s Pov:
” Are you sure she will be okay??” I heard a familia voice
” Yeah,definitely. She pas-sed out due to a shock,but she will be awake soon ” Another voice said
” Thank you”
I heard the door opened and closed again,,soon a hand t©uçhed my face and that was when I opened my eyes slowly feeling a strong headache.
” Charles?” I called and the hand st©pped
” You’re awake,,Evelyn” Charles said and sighed feeling relieved
” How long have I sle-pt?” I asked weakly
” More than six hours,I’ve been worried. What happened to you? You were taken home by the guards,they said you pas-sed out all of a sudden ” He said
How can I tell him I pas-sed out after seeing a vampire?? For holy sake,I saw him disappeared right in front of me,,the first time was scary,but seeing him at daytime is even scarier
” I’m sorry,,it won’t happen again” I said with a pout
” I am glad you’re awake,,I was really worried” Charles said and k!$$£d me which I responded to
” I better go tell the king that you’re awake,,maybe he’s done with the meeting alre-ady” Charles said getting up
” plea-se don’t leave me,,,” I said
” I will be back in a minute ,I’ve been here all day anyway” He smiled and k!$$£d my hair for the last time before going out of my room.
I sighed and managed to move even though I was feeling weak,,I shook my head when I remember him. I wonder where he comes from,and did he really ate the apple? Does vampires eat apples now? Weird.
I finally got up from the be-d,,I nee-d a warm bath. Seriously,,,
I moved to the mirror and started loosing my dress,,after taking it off I stared at myself from the mirror with a sigh.
I turned back but suddenly hit my head on something,,I looked up and a g@sp escaped myl-ips.
It’s him again,,,is he finally here to kill me?? Why? Because I saw his face? Or because I saw him disappeared??
He was looking normal like a human,,but his grey eyes wouldn’t st©p shining like that of a star,even though his face was cold,he still look handsome just like the novels I always re-ad.
But this is not a novel right now,it’s real life. I gulped down ha-rd waiting for his next move but he didn’t move,he was only staring at me.
Oh gosh,,I just took off my dress. I took it from the floor and wra-pped it around my b©dy. It was all quiet until he suddenly turned toward the door and stretched his hand toward it,,I heard as the door locked.
Wait,,why did he lock the door. Almost instantly someone tried opening the door,,I guess he knew alre-ady beforehand.
” Evelyn?? Are you in there??” That’s Charles voice,,I turned to the door and then back to him. I dare not talk,,my heart was beating really fast and his silence was even killing me more.
He started walking toward me,,
‘ oh no,,finally ‘
I moved back as he walked to me until my back t©uçhed the wall.
” Evelyn??? Are you in there??” Charles’s voice c@m£ up again
” Did she go out?” He asked and then silence followed.
The vampire finally got close to me and he raised his hand up,,,I g@sp and immediately closed my eyes waiting for him to hurt me.
But then,,I felt his palm on my forehead and I opened my eyes surprised to see him,,is he checking my temperature right now or something??
For few seconds his hand was on my head while I watch him in awe,,
He re-moved his hand and let out a sm-irk,,what is the sm-irk for anyway?
Does he talk at all?
” Is the door locked from the room?”
” I think so”
They are about opening the door,,once again he turned his back on me and disappeared.
I let out a sigh and then walked into the bathroom.

” Just get over it Akantha,,There’s nothing you can do about them,only him can break the spell he casted on them” Thana gro-an ed as she watched Akantha trying all her best to save the two guards on the ground.
” The crazy thing is that,,he didn’t utter any damn thing,,I could have done a reverse or something” Akantha sighed
” They are getting cold,,it’s all my fault” She added and looked at Thana,her best friend
” Give me that,,am thirsty” Akantga said gr-abbing the cu-p filled with blood from Thana and gulped it down
” Are you crazy? How could you finish everything?”
” Where did you get it? It tastes different,,it’s not an animal ” Akantha said
” I don’t deal with animals anymore,,humans ” Thana laughed showing her canine
” Humans?? Humans?? Where did you get them?” Akantha asked
” I was joking,,,,but come closer let me tell you this” Thana said and whispered some words into Akantha’s ears
” Wow,,,”
Almost instantly,,,,Lamia appeared in front of them and they both stood up on their feet
” Brother,,” Akantha called
Lamia eyes wi-de-ned up as he glared at Thana who looked like she wasn’t expecting him anytime soon and then back to Akantha,,,,he gr@bb£d Thana’s n£¢k and Akantha was shocked.
” Brother!!! It’s my friend!!” She shouted watching them as Thana struggled for breath,
She g@sped when Thana’s b©dy fell on the floor and it changed to something else,,
It was an animal, a very dangerous one.
Lamia shoved his hand to the b©dy and it disappeared.
” It’s,,,,it’s,,,it’s not Thana,,,” Akantha said almost choking on her words
” Did she give you anything??” Lamia asked
” Blood,,,,blood,,,,” At that she coll@psed on the floor and lost consciousness.

” Gosh!!!! Alantha!!! You’re finally awake!” A tiny voice screamed out
Akantha recognized the voice and opened her eyes fully,,
” Thana??” She called
” I was scared,,you called me you wanted me here. I was on my way when mother asked me to do something for her,,,” Thana explained
” I was a fool,,I would have died if brother didn’t come home. They,,,,really tried ” Akantha chuckled and sat up
” Are you okay??” Thana asked
” I’m fine,,”

Evelyn’s Pov:
I was alre-ady dressed when the door opened and Charles c@m£ in,,
” Damn Charles,,you should always try to knock before you come in. I was nak*d a minute ago ” I snapped almost angrily and he looked at me with a face of surprise.
Actually,,I am also surprised
” Are you okay?? ” He asked and moved closer to me
” I’m fine,,don’t t©uçh me ” I snapped
” Evelyn??” he called
I looked up
” Are you really okay??” He asked again
” Do I look like a sick person to you?? I am fine,,,I just want to be alone ” I replied
” Oh,,,I’m sorry. I actually c@m£ to tell you I am leaving,,will you like to come with me? You can just return back to the palace tomorrow,,,,,”
” No,,I am not leaving here ” I replied
” But you asked me not to leave you some minutes ago,what’s happening??”
” I changed my mind,,,” I replied
He glared at me for some seconds before nodding,,,
” You know I will do anything to make you happy right?? Just call me when you nee-d me,,” He said gently with a smile
I nodded
He then k!$$£d me,,,I couldn’t even respond to the k!sseven though I wanted it badly.
” Bye Sweetheart,,” He said before leaving

I think something is wrong with me
