“Okay I know it’s weird but don’t say a word about it” Evelyn rolled her eyes
“Like seriously?? Okay I won’t” Alianna win-ked
“Good,,,,” Evelyn laughed as the two walked into the clas-s.

“I am really starving Ramona,,come on let’s go before I die” Luisa gro-an ed
Ramona chuckled
“Just one page left,,and I will be done” Ramona said
“Are you kidding me? You mean I am going to starve here until you’re done with this book of yours??” Luisa asked
“If you can’t wait,then leave without me” Ramona scoffed
“You’re annoying,,,” Luisa said walking out of the clas-s
“Wait,,,” Ramona called and immediately ran after her which resulted into her bu-mping into Bennett
“Oh,,I am sorry,,,” Ramona apologized instantly
Bennett ignored her and walked into the clas-s,,,Ramona breathe out
“That guy is h0t,,,” Luisa muttered and Ramona sh0t her a glare
“The only thing you noticed about him is that? Can’t you see he’s weird and scary?” Ramona asked as they walked to the cafeteria
“Weird? How?” Luisa asked
“He doesn’t talk to others, always alone,,his eyes are really weird,it’s pretty but still it’s weird to me,,and his hair seems to grow everyday,,, and aside all that,, I’ve never seen that dude eating” Ramona said
“Wow,,,seriously I have never thought of that” Luisa said
“That’s because you’ve been busy checking out how h0t he is” Ramona rolled her eyes.
“You’re really observant Ramona,,it’s totally weird about him. But still I find him h0t” Luisa muttered
“Good for you then” Ramona rolled her eyes
They entered the cafeteria and got something to eat,they sat down.
“Can I join you girls??” Silas asked sitting down
“What’s the point of asking when you’re sitting alre-ady??” Ramona scoffed
“Oh that’s right,,am sorry” Silas said
“Gosh,, he’s h0t” Luisa muttered un-der her breath
“Luisa!!! Shurrup!” Ramona yelled which made Luisa laugh out

Bennett scoffed loudly as he listened to everything Ramona was about from where he was sitting,,
So she really find him weird and scary? Should he call her smart and observant??

“Is she blind? My hair is always the same” Bennett said
“My eyes are pretty and weird?? Humans are crazy sometimes,,” He muttered
He st©pped talking when a girl c@m£ into the clas-s,,he couldn’t remember her name but she have been trying her best to flir-t with him which is not going to work on him.
“Hey Bennett,,” Vera called with a wi-de smile and sat down on his locker
Bennett kept his usual straight face

“Really?? You don’t find him cute? Every girls in clas-s are crushing on him” Silas said surprisingly and Ramona scoffed
“Even if he’s cute,,I don’t have to join other girls to crush on him. He doesn’t even talk,so how will I crush on someone like that??” Ramona rolled her eyes
“So,,what about me??” Silas asked
“I am not crushing on anyb©dy” She replied
“Are you g@y? You don’t like any boy?” Silas asked
“I’m not,,,” Ramona snapped
“Well,,okay fine”

Bennett scoffed
‘Really? You’re not crushing on anyone? Let’s see to that,,’ Bennett said to himself still listening to Ramona
“Bennett,, are you here?” Vera asked and t©uçhed his cheek
“What do you want?” Bennett asked
“You remember my name right??” Vera smiled
Bennett not wanting to spoil the fun went into her mind and got her name
“Yeah Vera” He said
“Wow,,you really called my name. That’s cute,, I love the way you call me,,” Vera said and t©uçhed his shoulder
Bennett let out a smile and Vera g@sped
“Did you just smile?? That’s new,,” She said
They were both interrupted by Reed who couldn’t believe his eyes seeing Vera and Bennett together,, the moment Vera saw him coming in,she coughed and got down from the locker she was sitting on.
“You really left me in the cafeteria to stay with this freak?” Reed asked referring to Bennett as a freak
The students keep on coming in and eager to know what’s happening ,
“He’s a friend too,,I don’t see what’s wrong with that” Vera said
“Friend? I am your best friend,, now you prefer this new freak to me??” Reed asked

The students starts to murmur
” Reed,,st©p ma-king everything look serious,, it’s nothing ” Vera said
“Hey dude,,stay away from her. Do you get that??” Reed warned Bennett
“Is she your girlfriend??” Bennett asked

Reed scoffed
“That’s my business with her,not you” Reed said
“Why are you shouting? If you trust her,why warning me to stay away from her ?” Bennett asked
Vera g@sped knowing fully well that Reed wouldn’t back off if Bennett keep on talking back,,she could s-en-se trouble alre-ady
“I am just going to warn you once,,stay away from her. Not everyone is gonna fall for your fake face” Reed said
“Well sorry to disappoint you,,I can’t stay away from her. ” Bennett said

“I really don’t think this should cause any fight,,,I don’t want to stay away from either of you two” Vera said
“What? You’re going to keep on talking to this Freak?” Reed asked
“Reed st©p,,he’s not a freak” Vera said
Bennett sm-irked at Reed who walked out of the clas-s angrily
Vera followed him
” Wow,,First week,,fighting for a girl” Luisa said
Ramona scoffed
‘Never knew he’s a flir-t too’ She thought.

At The Palace**
7:10pm**
” Where are you going dressed like this?” Queen Naomi asked Evelyn who was coming down the stairs
She was looking so h0t,,she put on a very skimpy Sk-irt and t©p
“Going to a club” Evelyn replied and Queen Naomi couldn’t believe her ears
“Club?? When did you start going to club?”
“Since recently,, I really have a lot of things in my mind right now and I think am going crazy” Evelyn said and Queen Naomi shook her head wondering if she’s really her daughter
“It’s late,, when are you coming back!” She half yelled
“I don’t think I will be coming back tonight mom,,,don’t worry about me and don’t tell father,,he’s annoying nowadays” Evelyn said and went out
Queen Naomi sighed
“She’s a goner ” She muttered
Evelyn rejected the guards going with her,,she drove the car out of the palace alone

As Evelyn drive the car,her mind was so filled up like she doesn’t know what she’s doing at that moment.
“Hey Lamia,,,how could you? How could you leave me here without showing up again? Do you hate me that much? Why are you not showing up? Huh? You promised to protect me right? You also,, don’t want me to get married to another guy, but still you act like you don’t care anymore. Well,,let’s see how you protect me tonight!!” She said out loudly as she st©pped in front of the popular club house.
She parked the car and got out,,
“If you’ve been hiding,,I know you will come to me,,,,just watch me” She muttered un-der her breath before going into the club .
The music pla-ying was so loud and different people dancing and drinking their lives out,,
The smell was so awful but she’s re-ady for the worst,,,
“Let’s have a drink first” She said to herself and went to sit down
The waiter c@m£ to her immediately
“What do you want miss?” He asked calmly
“Get me something crazily alcoholic” she said
“Oh,okay” he went away and c@m£ back after few minutes dropping to wine in front of her
She smiled watching him pour some little content into the cu-p before going away,,she took the glas-s and gulped down everything which hurt her throat but she didn’t mind.
She keep on pouring more and more until she finished the whole bottle,,,
She took the empty bottle trying to pour out more but got nothing,,,
“Oh,,,baby,,you’re finished” she laughed and then made a loud hiccu-p.
She stood up drun!kily almost falling but a hand gr@bb£d her from the back,,
“Hey h0ttie,,careful” The voice said and she smiled facing him
“h0ttie? ” she asked and laughed
“Yeah,,you’re really h0t.” The guy said
She smiled and ca-ress his face,,,
“You look handsome too” she muttered with another hiccu-p
“You are really wasted,,, come with me” The guy said and took her from the dance floor
“Where,,,are you,,,taking me,,,to?” She asked
“Bathroom,,,,am sure you have things to bring out,,” he said
They got to the bathroom and almost immediately, she vomited,,
“Oh,,,,” she gro-an ed and wash her mouth and face
“Are you okay?” The strange guy asked
Evelyn grinned and shook her head
“Then,,should I make you feel better??” He grinned and before she could say something else he alre-ady crashed hisl-ips on hers.
He was almost taking off her clothes when a hand gr@bb£d him from the back and hit him right in his face ma-king him fall,,
He looked at who hit him
“Who are you?!” He yelled angrily
“Trust me you wouldn’t want to know,,, run for your dare life before I dry up your blood” Lamia said
The guy chuckled
“Who are you to dry my blood,,”
Lamia didn’t allow him finish his statement when he di-pped his fangs into his che-st and the guy screamed out
“Warned you ,,” Lamia said kicked him with his leg and then went to Evelyn who was on the floor alre-ady.
He carried her in a bridal style and left.

Next Morning**
Evelyn yawned as she tried opening her eyes,, her eyes scanned round the room and she g@sped sitting up from the be-d.
‘Where am I? Oh no,,did I mess up ?? ‘ she thought and immediately checked herself,her clothes still intact
She breathe out trying to remember how she ended up here but she got nothing.
She stood up and walked round the large beautiful room,,
“Wow,,this place is pretty” she muttered but then the door opened and she froze
She turned back and her eyes almost c@m£ out of the socket when she saw Lamia staring back at her with his usual cold face.
“,,,,,,,,,Jareth,,,,” She called feeling happy and scared at the same time.
“Are you okay?” He asked and Evelyn immediately nodded thrice
Lamia sm-irked and walked to the be-d, he dropped a cu-p on the table beside it.
“Come here” He said
Evelyn walked to him reluctantly
She wanted him to appear right,,so why is she like this?
Lamia looked at her when he saw that she wasn’t re-ady to sit,,he pu-ll-ed her on the be-d and gave the cu-p to her.
“It’s coffee,, I don’t know if It’s good though” Lamia said she couldn’t believe her ears
He made her coffee??
She immediately gulped down the content and Lamia scoffed
“Same way you keep on drinking that ha-rd wine of yours last night,,why did you go to that type of place? What if i didn’t show up? What do you think that ugly guy will do to you? I shouldn’t have interrupted him” Lamia said
she was almost pushed to smile
“What’s funny?”
“When did you learn how to make coffee? It’s amazing” Evelyn said
“I re-ad a lot of books about humans when you left,,,” Lamia murmured in a way she couldn’t hear him
“What?” She asked
“Don’t ask question,,, get re-ady and go back home. Your parents are worried alre-ady. ” Lamia said and stood up
Evelyn immediately hold him and shook her head
“I don’t want to go back plea-se,,, let’s leave together. They are going to f0rç£ me into marriage. ,,” She pleaded
“f0rç£? You told me you love that Prince,, so why will they f0rç£ you to her married to someone you love?” Lamia askrd
“I don’t want to get married to him again. ,,,,just,,take me with you” She said
“I am not going anywhere,,I am here.” Lamia said and she looked up at him
“You’re staying here? Then let me stay with you,,,plea-se” She pleaded
Lamia smiled and slowly he pu-ll-ed her into a hvg which took her by surprise.
