Evelyn was quiet for some seconds before she finally looked up,,Lamia’s crease his brow curious about her reply.
“You said you’re protecting me,,,” She mumbled
“So,,you’re staying??” Lamia asked and she nodded
Lamia turned back and continue walking,,she ran after him.
“But can you be more friendly?? plea-se,,,” She said
“What’s friendly??” Lamia asked
Evelyn ignored him and went into the room grumpily but was dismayed when she saw a big bag placed gently on the be-d,,,
She opened it and g@sped,,,it was filled with clothes.
“Wow” She said as she picked one up
She couldn’t find her own clothes anymore
“Did he really dispose my clothes to get these??” She smiled
“Where is he anyway??” She wondered as she started str!pping her clothes off re-ady to take her bath.

IN ANOTHER ROOMš¹
Luna got down from the be-d instantly as Lamia c@mĀ£ in,,she have been both friends and feeding mate to him.
No feelings attached though,neither for Luna nor Lamia.
“I’ve been waiting,,where did you go with your human mate??” Luna asked running his f!ngerson his che-st
Lamia scoffed
“You don’t have to wait for me” He replied and walked toward the be-d
Luna frowned and moved to him
“So,now I can’t ask for things??” She said
“You can’t question my movement,especially when it’s about her. ” Lamia snapped
“Okay,,,okay,,,I un-derstand,,,anyway I missed you. You seems busy these days,catching bad guys again?” She win-ked and tried k!ss!nghim but he moved back with a glare which almost scared Luna.
“I’m,,sorry” She said
“Are you upset about something??” She asked
“You think you’ve done something wrong?” Lamia asked and she shook her head
“No,I’ve done nothing. ” she said
She smiled and started taking off her clothes,,,she moved closer to him and showed him her nĀ£Ā¢k,,
“Feed on me,,” She said sĀ£dƻƧt!velybut Lamia didn’t move ,he keep on staring at her like he could see throu-gh her
“What are you waiting for??” She asked
Lamia pressed hisl-ips on her nĀ£Ā¢k softly and k!$$Ā£d it,,he k!$$Ā£d it for a while before in-serting his canine tooth into her,,
She winced as a result of the sharp pain which was replaced with plea-sure almost immediately as he su-cked her blood.
As he su-cked on her,the hvge craving gr!ppĀ£dhim and he let out a growl. He re-leased her nĀ£Ā¢k and pu-ll-ed her to the be-d taking off the remaining clothes off her,,
Luna m0@n ed with every bit of his tĀ©uƧh on her bĀ©dy which gave her the crazy plea-sure she had missed a lot.
Suddenly,Lamia stĀ©pped and get off her. She looked at him with a crease brow,,
“What happened??” She asked
“Put on your clothes Luna and leave” Lamia said coldly

He sh0t her a glare which stĀ©pped her from talking
“It’s unfair,,youfu-cking turned me on and now leaving me untĀ©uƧhed” She said
Lamia snubbe-d her and walked out of the room,,,
Evelyn was eating when Lamia c@mĀ£ in,,she stĀ©pped eating and looked up.
“Where are you coming from? You suddenly disappeared after we got home. And what about Amber and Akantha? Why are they not here??” Evelyn rushed her questions
Lamia sighed and hold his head,,
“Hey,,I am warning you. StĀ©p questioning me,,you talk too much and your loud voice is really annoying,it’s giving me headaches. Do you want me to shut your mouth forever?? Huh?” He said angrily
Evelyn left her food and moved back in fear,why is he so angry right now?? His eyes are not even the same,,,,,
Lamia noticed he was changing and immediately controlled himself before sitting down.
“Those two you mentioned left,,they don’t live here. And the Amber you called,,she’s my mother” Lamia said and Evelyn g@sped
“I hate questions,,it makes me mad. I hate silly voices,,so don’t talk until I ask you to do so. I may loose control of myself and do something crazy to you,,,I am not nice Evelyn. Don’t think I am nice just because of how calm I am with you. Don’t worry,,I will take you back home after getting those people who want to hurt you.” Lamia said and stood up
Evelyn couldn’t say a word,,the Lamia in front of him is totally different. She was shaking inwardly
“Do you have anything to say??” Lamia asked
“Thanks,,,,for,,,the clothes” She bowed
He walked out of the room without saying a word,,
Evelyn couldn’t move,,everything he said was ringing in her head.
But then,,who are the people after her??

Amber looked at Lamia angrily and was tem-pted to sl@p him,,
“What do you think you’re doing to her?? You should be gentle with her and not ma-king her scared of you even more” She half yelled
“I am being nice,,you know me mother. I am trying to,,,but humans,,,are so annoying to me.” lamia replied
“StĀ©p mentioning humans Lamia,,you can’t do anything about it,,that human is your mate,treat her well,” Amber said
“,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Her father,,killed Melaina,,” Lamia said furiously
Amber sighed before speaking up again
“He sĀ£nt hunters,,she didn’t die in his hand” Amber said
“Mother!!” Lamia yelled angrily
“I don’t care if it wasn’t him,,,,you told me to forget about it and I did. Now his daughter is my mate and Melaina’s people wouldn’t stĀ©p chasing her,,they want to kill her. I still can’t believe I am protecting her,,and you said I am not nice?? This is not me,,,I wouldn’t care if she’s my mate ,,,I can do whatever I want. Don’t question me” Lamia said and turned his back on Amber
“Son,,,,” She almost tĀ©uƧhed him but he was gone

Evelyn was outside the mansion even though it was late,she couldn’t stĀ©p thinking about Lamia who isn’t home.
He left angrily and she was worried if he’s fine or not,,
She was still thinking when the guards rushed to open the gate,,,he drove in.
She immediately stood up as he got down from the car,,,
Lamia walked toward her and went in without saying a word to her. He got in and was surprised to see her food still on the dinning table,a maid who was pas-sing at that moment greeted him.
“She’s not eating?” He asked her
“She said she will eat when you get back” The maid replied
“You can go” Lamia said to the maid and then went back outside. She was still sitting down
“Hey ” Lamia called and she looked back
“Huh?”
“Come in,,you’re going to get cold” Lamia said
Evelyn stood up instantly
“You must be hungry right? Why did you have to wait for me?” Lamia asked
“I was worried,, I know I shouldn’t,, but am a human” She said and almost regret saying that
“So,,you think vampires doesn’t get worried too?” Lamia asked
“Do you?” She asked and looked up
“Yes,,but I don’t” Lamia replied
“Really? You don’t have a heart?” Evelyn asked getting interested
“No I don’t” Lamia replied and Evelyn smiled
“That’s funny,,humans nee-d a heart to stay alive” Evelyn said as she finally sat down to eat
“They also nee-d food,,eat and go sleep” Lamia said and before she could speak up,he was gone.
“Gosh,,,I can’t sleep alone” Evelyn gro-an ed and taste the food which took her by surprise
It taste so different,, maybe a new chef cooked this one,so delicious.
“I wish he eat with me” Evelyn muttered

Lamia checked on Evelyn in the room and found that she was still asleep,without waking her up he turned back and left the room fully dressed like he had an important event to attend.
Getting downstairs he called one of the maids and she ran to him,,
“You should keep your eyes on her,make sure you give her anything she want. Just you,,okay?” He said
The Maid who was staring at the ground nodded without looking up and almost immediately Lamia went out.

Meanwhile in Windpine,the search still continues as none of the royal families are re-ady to give up,,prince Charles isn’t left out as he doesn’t stay off the palace, always ma-king sure everything is okay with the family.

Luisa sat down beside Ramona her best friend grinning ha-rd ,Ramona faced her with a crea-sed brow
“What happened this time?” She asked
Luisa almost spoke up when suddenly a girl rushed into the clas-s,,
“We have new students,, two actually,,, boys though. They look so h0t,but one of them look like a god,, ” The girl announced and the clas-s started to murmur
“Is that why you are grinning?” Ramona faced Luisa back and she nodded
Ramona hissed and faced her book,,
“Trust me,,those guys are cuter than Reed” Luisa scoffed
“I don’t care okay? Reed is not my bĀ©yfriĀ£nd, you’re among the girls crushing on him,you know I don’t love anyfu-cking bĀ©dy. You’re pissing me off alre-ady” Ramona snapped
“Okay ma’am,,noted ” Luisa win-ked
Ramona rolled her eyes and continue re-ading until the teacher entered with two guys behind him,,
“Damn,,look at the one with gray hair” Luisa muttered
Ramona scoffed and dropped her book to listen to whatsoever the teacher is about saying.
The new students were asked to introduce themselves
” I’m Silas ” The first guy said with a wi-nk and the girls started drooling
“Bennett” The second guy in gray hair said without a single expression on his face,even at that he’s still h0t to the girls.
“Are they brothers?” The students asked
“What? Of course not,,but we can be right?” Silas smiled and tĀ©uƧhed Bennett
“Get off ” Bennett snapped
“Wow,,,,,” The clas-s murmured
‘Silence!!!” The teacher snapped and ordered the two new boys to sit down.
Ramona rolled her eyes and continue re-ading her book.
“I wonder what you love about this kind of silly books,,” Luisa gro-an ed
“At least it’s better than re-ading some crazy vampire stories like you,,I’ve told you to stĀ©p the silly imaginations of yours,vampires are illusions ,they are not real” Remona snapped
“Do you think I care if they are real? I love re-ading about them” Luisa said confidently
“Fine,,then leave me alone. I enjoy re-ading about science too” Remona snapped

Back in the house,Evelyn felt so lonely and wouldn’t stĀ©p staring out of the window. How much she would have loved to go out,,
As she was thinking, the door opened and Lamia c@mĀ£ in which brou-ght smiles on her face,,,
“Jareth,,” she called and Lamia walked closer to her
“What do you want?” Lamia asked
“Are you still mad at me?” Evelyn asked
“Who said I was mad at you?”
“Okay,,glad you’re not” Evelyn muttered and sighed
“What do you want ??” Lamia asked again
“Can,,,can I go out?” She asked nervously
“Why? You want something?” Lamia asked
“Not that,,I feel so bored here. I just,,want to have some fun,,she answered
“With you” she finally added even though she felt like it sounds crazy
“Who is ‘you’?” Lamia asked with almost a frown
“Huh?”
