?Kate’s POV▪▪
I stood in tears as i watch the news, it been two days now after the incidence and i couldn’t even get to see my daughter. When everything later cool off that day, the firemen came on time to extinguish the fire in the building and Laura was found, she was badly injured and before she was taken to the hospital she gave up the ghost. I couldn’t help but to cry, Laura is just so stubborn, i told her to leave the building immediately. Starr should be the one dead and not her.
I blame myself for this, Laura was doing all fine with Starr but i later came and deceive her, i brainwashed her and make her believe all my lies even thou she was stupid to believe all i said to her. But i don’t regret any of this- all i wanted was revenge! revenge for what she did to me, my heart was filled with so much anger towards that girl and everything became worse when i get to know she’s from a very wealthy family. I quickly get dressed and picked up a scarf to cover my head so that no one can easily recognize me, i need my daughter back, even thou she’s dead i need to see her before her burial… Laura need to forgive me for this…
I arrived at the hospital,
i know am taking a very big risk because once am caught am going to jail again and i don’t want that. I quickly went to the morgue and ask the attendant about Laura- the girl who died in the fire. I felt more hatred for Starr, she should be the one in here and her parents should be the one crying.. but it just the other way round.
“please forgive me Laura… forgive me,” i said going crazy about the whole thing. I killed Arnold and now Laura, i indirectly end my family all by myself, i killed them both, it all my fault- my subconscious scolded.
<>> i heard a voice echoed and it was Laura, she was saying that in a bitter voice. I look around then her dead body. I closed my eyes in tears as i head her voice again, it as if she’s right here with me.
