“i guess you want to die so soon, don’t be too fast-er than your shadow once the money is ready i will gladly kill you myself,” she smirk then walked out. I heaved a sigh of relief feeling so much pain, weak and thirsty from all the talking… why is life been so ha-rd on me?
Edward’s POV▪▪
We’ve already planned how to get on with this with the police tomorrow. Princess need to be saved. I arrived back home feeling so sad about everything.
“i know i have failed you as a daughter and am sorry, you’re the only one i have left please forgive me for all i did,” Sarah pleaded.
“it okay Sarah i understand you. After all who would watch his mother in jail but don’t feel guilty and don’t care about what Erica told you back there at the station. You did the right thing and i a-ssure you your sister will soon be back to us,” i said while she nodded.
“i have to go and see Mabel,” i said then walked upstairs when i bumped into mom. I still couldn’t believe mom could hide all this from me- why will she even hurt her own son this bad.
“Edward…,” she called while i sighed.
“how about Princess… have you got any information about her? she asked looking so worried.
“yea,” i replied dryly and was about walking away when she pulled me back.
“talk to me Edward and stop giving me those silence treatment.. please forgive me and help me begged Mabel,” she pleaded in tears.
“dad has to lose in his life in your mess, i have to suffer this too, Mabel was traumatize and our home was so lonely,
Princess suffered a lot without having us by her side. Do you realize what you just did.. you’ve ruined this family mom all because of your wickedness,” i yelled at in tears. I can’t believe my mom was the cause of my failure in this marriage and it has to affect me, my wife, my daughter and even cost the life of my dad- how could she..
“i know i don’t deserves your forgiveness but Edward just know am so sorry for this. I regretted this a long time ago and am sorry for everything, i was so happy when Princess return back to us at least she’s still alive,” she said in tears. “please don’t leave me son,”
“i need some time mom, i guess this not the right time to talk to you because i might do something crazy to you,” i said angrily then walked out on her. I went to our bedroom and found Mabel sitting on the floor holding Princess photo. I slowly walked up to her and sat down beside her.
“am sorry for everything,” i said while she stood up.
“just leave Edward.. just go away with your mom. Am fed.. am fed with everything, your mom was behind all this and i have to suffer for this. What type of mother is she,” Mabel yelled in tears.
“am so sorry Mabel.. i will try to fix this and Princess will be back home tomorrow,” i said.
“no Edward i guess i made a very big mistake in getting married to this family. I guess i was just blinded with the love i have for you, i should have let you be with Erica now looked at what it turned too. Princess have to pay for the price, Princess have to suffer for everything that we choose in the past, Princess is missing again and i won’t ever forgive your mom for doing that to my daughter.
Edward am sorry but it guess it better we stop all these and part ways with each other. Once my daughter is back am taking her with me to somewhere peaceful and quiet, where we will live a very simple life without you nor your wicked mother,” she yelled while i stood in shocked not believing what she’s saying.
“you can’t give up on us, not now… i love you Mabel and am doing everything i can to protect you and our daughter,” i said.
“no Edward we don’t need your protection for as long as am with you, Erica will never stop and i won’t watch and see my daughter get involved in this. let just part ways and live our normal lives. If leaving you will guarantee Princess safety then i will gladly do that,” She yelled the walked out in anger. I sat down on the floor feeling so frustrated about the whole thing. I thought Princess is back to us and everything is over but now.. everything is already getting shattered..
Mabel’s POV▪▪
I walked out in anger and was surprise to see Tony standing at the door, i ignore him then went to the sitting room.
“you can’t do that to dad! what has gotten over you,” he said.
“just shut up Tony.. you have no right to interfere in this.. this for the best and am doing this for Princess as well,” i said in tears.
“that isn’t the right thing to do. Erica is already in jail and whosoever that is behind Princess kidnap will also have to pay. Princess is still alive and our family will soon be together, why not try to forgive grandma and Sarah! just let go of the pain, hatred and sorrow…
“i can’t Tony.. this for the best,” i said.
“what best mom? or are you trying to hurt dad, Princess will never forgive you for this too. Just try to make peace with everyone and pray for Princess safety that way it will work,” Tony said holding my hands.
“it so much hurt Tony.. why will Princess have to pay for all these.. i have been separated from my daughter for good fifteen years and now that she’s back someone still have the gut to kidnapped her again.. why will it have to turn out this way,” i cried while he hug-ged me.
“it okay mom, just try to cool off your mind then talk to dad tomorrow. Princess will be safe and back to us,” he whisper..
Sarah’s POV▪▪
I stood at the balcony as lots of thoughts kept roaming in my mind. If anything bad should happen to Princess i will never forgive my mom, and i hope she returns back home to us, i have lose her for fifteen years and i don’t want to lose her again. Mom is already in jail and i don’t want to end up like her, i don’t want history to repeat itself again.
“Sarah! A voice called jerking me out of my thoughts.
“seems things are getting pretty tough now,” Tony said while i sighed realizing it him.
“i don’t know when this will all end Tony.. do you think i did the right, my mom is in jail now and Princess is missing,” i said sadly while Tony moved closed and held my hands.
“you did the right thing Sarah, if your mom isn’t ready to change then she have to pay for what she did. It better this way you still have your dad by your side, you have to let go too Sarah. Just try to let go of the hatred you once have for Starr.
She’s now Princess and not Starr, she’s now your sister whom you’ve longed to see, then sister who help you come back to life again. Don’t waste this opportunity holding grudges against her all because of Greg, don’t repeat the same mistake your mom made,” he said as if reading my mind, that’s what am planing to do to let go of everything and let things align rightly in my life, don’t want to force things to happen again…
“if Princess will come back alive to us then i will make use of the opportunity to set things right with her. I guess mom deserves this for taking Princess away from us, for hurting everyone’s feelings, she was just too wicked and i realize i was gradually taking after her evil character.
I just want to be that girl, that simple girl everyone will loves, a happy simple girl with her sister just the way it was when we were kids, i wished for those old days,” i said trying to hold back my tears. Tony pulled me in a hug.
“it okay… i believe there’s more happy days ahead, for everyone of us. Just follow your heart Sarah and quit been the bad girl,” he said while i cried on his chest.

Starr’s POV▪▪
I slowly open my eyes and notice it morning already.. i feel so weak, so hungry and thirsty, i need to get out of here before i die. My hands and leg really pains a lot because it was tied. I try to untie it as i keep struggling with myself.. Suddenly the door went open and Kate walked in with two of her men.
“do it fast,” she said to them while they quickly untie me, i felt so relief on my wrist. I was shocked when the connect the bomb to my body.
“one more move from you i will blow you up,” she smirk showing me the remote in hand, she then order the men to tie me up again before leaving. I looked at her body and felt like crying out loud, i can’t die here and i can’t risk the life of my family, i need to do something…
Mabel’s POV▪▪
The house wasn’t lively as before, everyone was quiet and sad. No one even remember to have breakfast, well our minds is just occupied with Princess, we need to save her immediately. I slept at the guest room last night, i couldn’t stand to face Edward and his mom. But after what Tony told me yesterday i guess he was right. It better to let go and make peace instead of holding grudge even thou it not so easy i can only forgive Amelia if Princess is back to us safely. I went to our bedroom and saw Edward, already dressed up.
“Mabel,” he called while i sighed then turn to leave but he quickly pulled back, hugging me so tight.
“i will bring Princess home, just stay here and be safe for us,” he said calmly then plant a soft ki-ss on my forehead, he turned to leave but i held him back.
“am sorry.. about what happen.. last night…
“it okay Mabel i understand, you’re still my wife and the woman i so much love nothing will gonna change that,” he said while i smiled.
“but i can’t do nothing at home, i want to go with you,” i insisted
“You don’t have to, it might be too dangerous. I just want to get the money ready before calling the cops,” he said.
“the cops, am sure they ask you not to involve the cops in this…. this might end up being bloody,” i said feeling so scared for my daughter.. i want to see her safe and sound without any injury.
“we’ve planned this Mabel. We’ll get throu-ghthis soon, please just stay home with Sarah, i will call if you anything serious came up,” he said while i nodded not feeling comfortable with that.
We walked downstairs and Tony was also ready to go as well.
“please Tony.. take care of yourself,” i said then hug-ged him tight.
“we will bring Princess home, just keep praying nothing bad will happen,” he said
“sure.. i hope so,”
“please take care too Tony,” Amelia said as she walked up to us.
“you don’t have to worry grandma, you should all stay at home for your own safety,” he said.
“Edward..” she called slowly.
“we have to go now,” he said to Tony and was about to leave but i held him back.
“your mom wants to talk to you,” i said while he sighed.
“we’ll talk about this when Princess is back home safe. Princess need us now,” he said before walking out with Tony.
“mom Mabel! Sarah called as she moved closer to us.
“it is true Erica is in jail, you expose your mom…? i asked her.
“i did what i think was right… Princess deserves justice for everything that happen to her and i guess mom deserves to pay for her crimes too,” she said while i nodded.
“thank you, for doing that,” i said while she smiled. I looked at Amelia and i could tell she want to apologies to me but i hurriedly walked back to my room, pacing up and down hoping for the best, hoping to see Princess back to us..soon!
Starr’s POV▪▪
Laura walked in and i was glad she came maybe she had a change of mind.
“are you gonna let me die here? i asked
“just tell me the truth Starr, what did my mom told you about dad’s death? she asked.
“she killed father! how many times will i have to tell you that before you agree to it, just look at me Laura she’s going to kill me for real, take off the jacket and see what she did to me,” i said in tears while Laura slowly pulled the jacket and was shocked to the bomb on me.
“i still don’t regret being in your life, i still don’t regret being adopted in your family for the sake of our dad. Have you forgotten what dad one told us.. have you forgotten his training and how he worked so ha-rd to raise us, have you forgotten our promises to him to always stick to each other as sisters should do… Laura is still not too late too change..please,” i cried.
“your parents are almost here,” she said icily wiping the tears in her eyes, she stood up and was about to leave.
“please Laura do this for me, for the sake of dad… please,” i pleaded while she stopped and then moved closer to me. She quickly removed a small knife from her jeans pocket then cut off the rope that was tie to my hands and legs.
“this the least i can do..” she said while i hug-ged her.
“thank you Laura,” i quickly said trying to removed the bomb from my body.
“let me help,” Laura gesture while i smiled as she helped me removed it.
“mom has already connect the time, we need to get out of here” she said. “You have to go before it explode,” she said while i nodded.
Laura’s phone rang and she picked up the call.
“where the heck are you? i heard her yelled because the phone was on speaker.
“at the warehouse,” she responded.
“what the heck are you still doing there, i already set up the time for the bomb to explosion, the bomb will gonna explode anytime from now better leave that place! she yelled
“okaay! Laura said before ending the call.
“please Laura can you lend me your phone? i asked while she nodded then gave it to me, i wonder why she’s been nice all of a sudden, maybe she regretting whatever she did, am glad my words got into her.
“this my dad’s number, please text him the address of this place,” i beg while she typed then sent the message.
“are we gonna die here,” i asked feeling so scared.
“we have to leave,” she said as she held my hand and we ran out of the large room. The house was large and if not for Laura i would have lost my way and die here.
“what! Laura yelled when she sighted another bomb in a corner.. it has just 2mins to explode. We hasten our speed even thou i was too weak to run i still need to survive for my family. We ran so fast but we are running out of the time, we are not even out of the mansion and what if it explode.
“just jump throu-ghthis window,” she said while i looked down and notice it wasn’t too far.
“just jump down Starr, and thank you for telling me the truth i know how to handle my mom,” she said while i jumped down.
“just keep running Starr,” she yelled while i did and was hoping she will jumped out too so we could escape this but i heard a loud noise and then i realize the one of the bombs she planted just explode. I fall down hitting my body so ha-rd to the ground.. what about Laura.. I stood up and want to run but i was too weak, i slowly followed the back door and heard another explosion again, i couldn’t see Laura.. where could she be..
“Laura! i called out but didn’t get any response..
Edward’s POV▪▪
We were able to track were they are and we were also surprise to receive a text about the warehouse from a strange number. When we arrived, the house was already blow up and my heart was beating so fast-er, it a good thing we didn’t give them what they need right away but why is the house on fire.. could Princess be inside…
“we’ll check this out, just stay here,” the officer said while he ask the cops to surround the whole house.
“we can’t stand here and do nothing.. what if Princess is inside,” Greg said all worried as he hurried to meet the cops, they need to get Princess out of there.
A call into my phone and i guess it must be the kidnappers, this time it was a female voice and i wonder who could be.
“you couldn’t keep to your promise, where’s my daughter? i yelled so angry.
“probably death and burn beyond recognition. You couldn’t bring the money on time and i know you involve the police in this so it better i just killed her,” she said while i felt my heart beating so fast, i quickly ended the call and rushed over to the cops, i heaved a sigh of relief when i saw Princess, i thought i have lose her,”
“where did you find her? i asked Tony who was carrying her in his arms.
“at the back door, she just unconscious i guess,” he said while we rushed her to the car. Mabel has been calling but i couldn’t even pick any of her calls, not at this time. Princess need to be rush to the hospital..
Kate’s POV▪▪
It just better this way, it better i end Princess life for good, i know they will still come with the cops even after telling them not to involve them in this. I called Laura but she wasn’t picking my calls, her line wasn’t even going throu-gh. Suddenly a call came it and it from one of my men.
“Princess escape.. am at the place right away, i couldn’t see Laura i don’t know where they heck she went to,” he said and i stood shocked, my heart was racing and i was sweating already… hope is not what am thinking… how could Princess escape and now Laura is missing…
“uhmm.. please just call me if you get any information about her,” i said then ended the call. I wished i could go there myself but i don’t want to take any risk the police might catch me and i don’t want that..
If anything bad should happen to Laura then this will gonna be a daughter for a daughter… i would never be at peace if i didn’t see STARR dead body lying right in front of me….?
