▪▪Arnold’s POV▪▪
I was just coming back from work when i saw a man at the door, he was talking to Starr and i wonder who he is.
“oh here he is,” she said while i walked up to them.
“are you Arnold Cole? he asked showing me my picture, i was surprise to see that.
“how did you know me and what did you want? i asked.
“can i talk to you for a few minutes? he asked while i looked at Starr then nodded.
“thank you,” he replied.
“just take care dad,” Starr said while i nodded then followed the man.
“what did you want and who are you? i asked.
“am Robert Stennis,”
“I’ve been looking for you! for some months now, someone directed me to you,” he said.
“who?
“it Mr. Silas Desmond. This will gonna be a very long talk because i need your help,” he said.
“what help? i don’t get you!
“do you know this girl? he asked then gave me a picture of a little girl -OMG. This Starr, what he did want from her?
“she was missing fifteen years ago, i know it such a long time but Silas said you once adopted a girl child, so am just investigating. Did you know the girl on the picture? he asked while i sighed. I can’t just put Starr’s life at risk, what if he’s after her life? but then what if she has a family somewhere and they’re looking for her.
“We’ve been looking for this girl for such a long time now and i just hope Silas led me to the right person,”
“who are her parents? did you know anything about her?
“yes, she’s Edward
and Mabel’s long lost daughter,” he said while i gasped.
“so did you still have the daughter you once adopted? he asked.
“uhmmm… how can we be even sure she’s their daughter?
“that’s what am doing now, i want to investigate more about this,”
“it’s true, i adopted a girl fifteen years ago on the 1st of January 1993. That was along time ago but she lost her memory and somehow she couldn’t remember anything,” i said while she arched an eyebrow.
“what! on the 1st of a January, that’s exactly the same date Princess went missing,” the man said. Now is clear to me that Starr might be the girl he’s looking for. My heart was beating so fast and i couldn’t just tell him everything at once, i need some time to think throu-ghthis, i don’t want to lose Starr to some wrong people.
“so where’s the girl? he asked.
“she went missing, my wife never liked her so and sent her packing since ten years but i will help you look for her if you want to,” i said nervously, i couldn’t think of any lie to tell him immediately.
“thank you then, here’s my card. Call me whenever you have any information about her,” he said while i collected the card from him.
“thanks,” he said while i nodded.
I return back home and i wasn’t myself. Starr’s biological parents are Edward and Mabel Raddison. Those people are so wealthy, i only heard of them now that explains why Starr always says she might be from a rich family. But what actually happen to her. Starr was almost dead when i found her! how could they allow such thing to happen to the poor little girl.
“father! Starr called.
“what was the man looking for? were you able to talk to him? she asked while i nodded sadly.
“yes, it nothing important,” i replied.
“but you look so sad, did he said anything bad to you?
“so Starr, he was just asking for someone and that reminds me- have you tell anyone you’re adopted? i asked.
“of course not dad, aside from you, Laura, Kendrick and my friend Nica no one knows about this. It always make me wonder if i will ever see my real parents,” she said sadly.
“what if you happen to find them sooner than you thought? are you going to leave us?
“of course not dad! haven’t i told you- You and Laura are the only family i knew and just know that wherever i will go i will take you with me,” she smiled while i nodded.
“am just thinking of helping you look for your real parents,” i said while she hug-ged me.
“thank you daddy,”

?Mabel’s POV?
I felt so happy when Robert told me he got a little information about my daughter. It fifteen years now and he was able to get some information about her.
“so what about Princess Officer? i asked, Edward was seated beside me while Tony opposite to us.
“this the man who found you daughter! Robert said while i smiled as i stare at his picture, my eyes were already getting watery.
“where did he found her? i asked in tears while Edward patted my back.
“at Panpam, she was dumped in the river but he later found her by the river bank almost dead, he was surprise when he saw that she was still having a pulse, she was breathing so he took her to the hospital,” he said while i cried the more.
“my Princess! why will someone do that to her, why will she have to suffer this much,” i cried.
“and she lost her memory,” Robert concluded while i was surprise to hear that. So that means she don’t even remember anything about us?
“but where is she? where’s my daughter now? you need to take me to this man? i stood up while Edward held me back.
“mom, we don’t have to rush things, we should be happy Princess is still alive,” Tony said.
“according to the man, his wife never liked Princess so she sent her packing ten years ago but i think he’s lying,”
“lying? what did you mean? Edward asked.
“i have investigate about his family, he’s wife Mrs. Kate was in prison for fifteen years and it not been long she was out of prison so how can she probably sent Princess packing while she’s in prison,” Robert said while i looked confused.
“Edward, i guess it better if i see this man myself, maybe he can tell me the truth about my daughter,” i cried.
“no Mabel, let Robert handle this! i know he can do it,” Edward said.
“the man has two daughters and these her their pictures,” Robert said showing us the picture of the two ladies.
“what! Tony said in surprise.
“i know them, this Starr mom the one we meet at shopping mall and this Laura her sister, she now works at the company with me,” Tony said.
“you have to investigate about these two,” Edward said to Robert while he nodded.
“i will try to ask Laura about this. I can’t believe this all getting twisted,” Tony said.
“please Tony am glad you know them both, try to investigate and know if any of them is adopted, we need to find Princess,” i said in tears while he nodded.

▪▪▪ “dad, what’s going on here? Sarah asked when she walked in.
“your sister might still be alive somewhere,” i said to her but she was shocked to hear that.
“yes Sarah, we are doing everything we can to find your sister,” Edward told her.
“but dad..
“you don’t have to worry Sarah, your sister will soon be back to our lives and everything will be normal again,” i said.

▪▪▪✨Throu-ghout the night i couldn’t sleep, i keep wondering who could have do this to Princess, why was she dumped in the river, what if that man never found her and what if she’s dead! thinking about this make me cry the more. At least there’s hope, at least i now know Princess is still alive somewhere.
“Mabel! Edward called then on the sat down lose to me.
“you look so worried!
“i couldn’t sleep Edward, i couldn’t be myself when Robert told us what happen to our daughter, we almost lose her and i hope we find her soon,” i said trying to hold back my tears.
“i have that strong feeling we’ll find her, Princess is a survivor just as you, all she need is our prayers,” he said while i nodded with a smile.
“we’ll get throu-ghthis Mabel, we’ll find our child and i hope after that i will see you happy again,”
“sure,” i smiled then hug-ged him tight…

▪▪Sarah’s POV▪▪
I stood at the balcony trying to figure out what dad told me earlier. Princess is still alive! how how is that possible. Grandma told me Princess was killed, mom said that too even Max that took her away said he did his job well. I was so confused not knowing what to think anymore.
“Sarah! Tony called while i looked at him.
“thought you’re already asleep,” he said.
“am just trying to sort out something… Princess is alive for real? i asked him again.
“yes, and am damn worried because i don’t know why it have to point out to Starr and her sister. It was their father who adopted Princess but she later left,” he said getting me so worried. Why is this even connected to that Starr of a girl?
“that’s why i have to act smart and know who among them is adopted or if they happen to know anything about Princess,” He said…

▪▪ Arnold’s POV▪▪
I called Robert Stennis, and told him am ready to tell him everything i know. I don’t want to hide the truth anymore, Starr need to know about her real parents, she deserves to know the whole truth, i guess it time for her to return back to where she really belong to.
“am ready to tell you everything, let just meet up,” i said into then phone.
“thank you then, let meet up,” he said while i hanged up then sighed. I know this will take Starr by surprise but she will be very happy.
I quickly got dressed and was about to leave but was surprise when i was Kate.
“what are you doing here? i scoffed.
“Laura is at work and Starr isn’t at home and as you can see am going somewhere important,” i said while she fully walked in.
“am not here to for any of them! am here for you,” she laughed.
“for what Kate? we are done a long time ago, so go and get a life for yourself,” i yelled at her while she pulled out a gun from her bag, i was shocked. Where did she get that from? she’s just of prison recently!
“am here to make you pay for what you did to me,” she smirked.
“what did you mean Kate? i never did anything wrong! you were the bad person,” i yelled angrily.
“but you choose that stranger over me and over Laura,”
“i knew you weren’t for real, you still haven’t learnt your lesson,” i snarled.
“all i want is revenge once am done with you and going for Starr. You make me suffer in prison, you were behind the miserable life i live and i will never forgive you Arnold because you were never a good husband and as well a good father to our daughter,” she yelled.
“you want to kill me, kill me then! just pulled the trigger and kill the father of your daughter.
Laura will never forgive you if she finds out you’re responsible for what happen to me. Laura will hate and you will go back to Prison, this time you’ll rot there because there will be no mercy for you,” i yelled in tears. Kate was glaring at me wickedly, i knew she never changed. I have to get Starr back to her real parents before Kate do anything bad to her.
“i don’t care and i won’t hesitate to kill you,” she yelled then shoot me on my leg making me to fall down on the floor, blood was already gushing out from my leg. My phone was ringing and the caller was Robert, Kate quickly collect the phone and switched it off.
“Please Kate before you kill me let me at least talk to Starr because i have found her real parents. Give me the chance to know to tell her this,” i pleaded, my leg was hurting so bad.
“what! and who are her real parents? she asked.
“Starr belong to the Raddison’s family, she’s Edward and Mabel long lost daughter you can go and investigate about that if you want,” i said while she looked surprise and lost, i quickly use that opportunity and stone her with a scissor i saw on the table, the gun fell from her hand, i quickly picked up a bottle then threw it to her face, making her to fall down completely.
I managed to stand up and quickly carried the gun, i wouldn’t walk so well and i guess Kate was fast enough to catch up with me, she slapped me then pushed me down.
“you can’t outsmart me Arnold,” she yelled then shoot it right on my ch-est.
“i will make sure Starr will never find her family, as far as am alive,” she smirked, i stare at her weakly before my eyes finally closed.
▪Robert has been calling Arnold but it wasn’t reaching, he wonder why he wasn’t picking up so he decide to and check him at home.

On arriving there he was shocked by the lots of people there and also an ambulance, they were few cops around there too.
“we only heard a gunshot and before we came no one was here,” one of the woman explained to the police.
Laura was already in tears, it not been long she came home only to find her father in a pool of his blood. She quickly called her mom on phone.
“hello mom, you need to come here immediately…,” she cried.
“what happen? Kate asked
“dad was shoot,” Laura cried
“okay, am coming right away dear,” she said without sounding even surprise.

▪▪Starr just arrived home and was surprise by the crowd in the house. Her heart was already beating fast, she sighted Laura who was in tears.
“Laura, what’s happening here and where’s dad? she asked while held her hand and took her to the ambulance outside.
“father is gone,” she cried while Starr was shocked by what she saw, she quickly ran and hug-ged his lifeless body.
“please dad.. wake up,”she cried but he police quickly pulled her away.
“this a serious case of murder, and we have to investigate,” the police said while Starr wept so bitterly?
▪▪Kendrick was surprise by the news he got. Laura just called and told him about he dead of her father and he so shocked about that. He quickly dressed up and was about to leave, he knows Starr need him more than ever and he was ready to be there for her in every hurdles of her life.
“Nica! he called surprise to see her.
“what are you doing here i thought i told you never to come,” he yelled at her.
“because i need to tell you something,” she yelled back at him.
“Starr and Laura just lose their father and i need to be there for them. Starr need me now! and am going there right now,”
“i also need you Kendrick, i need you more than ever,” she said while he sighed.
“Nica i told you whatever happened between us was in the past and it was just a mistake i got int-imate with you, why are you bothering me now? Starr is the only woman i love so just stop this! he scoffed.
“i need you Kendrick because you’ll soon be a father to my child,” she said making Kendrick looked shocked.
“i know it sound awkward but am three weeks pregnant already,” she said trying to hold his hands but he stopped her.
“don’t you dare try to touch me! he warned angrily!
“you don’t have to deny this Kendrick because am not ab-orting this thing, am keeping this pregnancy!
