▪▪Sarah’s POV▪▪

Greg took me to his mansion and it was just so beautiful! i guess i will really like it here.
“you can stay here if you want too,” he said when we get to the first room, it was large and has a king-size bed.
“you like it here? he asked while i nodded then sat down on the bed.
“thank you Greg if you haven’t come on time i would done something terrible to myself,”
“Tony called me yesterday and i was scared when he told me he have to pick you up at the club and you were so devastated, i felt so guilty and i just want to set things right with you. Sarah if anything bad should happen to you because of me i won’t forgive myself but all am asking for is for you to understand me,”
“i know Greg and am sorry,” i mutter while he smiled then moved my hair backwards.
“so are we now okay? he asked while i replied with a faux smile.
“thanks, but i hope you’re not planing to stay here for too long! i mean your parents will be so worried and i can’t possibly watch them look for you while i know you’re with me,” he said.
“but why? i thought you wanted to help me! Greg i don’t want anyone in my life for now, i don’t even want to see my mom. Please don’t tell anyone about this, most especially my dad,”
“but…
“no Greg, if you don’t want to help me then i will leave and that’s okay with me,” i said while he sighed.
“okay, as you wish but i hope it won’t take so long! so what happen between you and your mom?
“oh! we just got into an argument and then she showed me her true self, she doesn’t even care is she hurt my feelings with what she said,”
“am sorry about that Sarah, but i hope you guys will fix things when you return back to her and that’s reminds me why were you with Princess pictures.. did you get any information? he asked.
“yes.. Princess is dead already, i guess it better if we all stop searching for her because it useless,” i said wiping the tears from my eyes.
“what! he scoffed.
“who told you that?
“my investigator told me that. Princess is no longer existing. It been so many years now and if she’s still alive we would have find her! Princess is never gonna come back to us,” i cried, thinking about that make me so weak.
“oh no! i don’t just want to believe that but why am i having this feeling she’s somewhere close to us?
“yes, she’ll be always part of us, right here in our heart,” i said sadly. I wanted to spill out everything to him and tell him about my mom and grandma -but am just finding it too heavy to tell anyone this, i can’t just tell him- maybe not now.
“we’ll get throu-ghthis, but i wish she’s still here with us,” he said sadly.
“the deed has the been done now the only thing we need to do is get the culprit behind this and get them arrested,”
“the truth will always prevail we won’t stopped until we get to the root of all this,” he said, there was an awkward silence between us and all i could think of was how my stay with Greg be in this mansion.
“you need to get some rest Sarah, i have to go now,” he said and was about leaving when i held his wrist then stood up and moved closer to him.
“am i staying alone in this room?
“sure Sarah,” he nodded while i felt so disappointed, i moved more closer and tried to ki-ssed him but he stopped me.
“this not the right Sarah, i only thought bringing here will help you eased your pains…
“i know, am sorry,” i quickly said while he nodded then walked out. I sighed then threw myself helplessly on the bed.

?Kendrick’s POV▪▪
“Just get dress and leave before anyone comes,” i yelled at Nica, yes she’s Nica, Starr’s best friend and now i feel so bad for making out with her.
“don’t act like you don’t like it, am only helping you,” she smiled lic-king her li-ps while i rolled my eyes then stood up from the bed.
“just leave… and don’t ever come back again,” i snarled while she quickly picked up her heels and purse.
“of course i will come back when next you need me,” she smirk.
“at least am able to give you something Starr couldn’t give you all these years,” she laughed and was about to leave.
“but Starr is your friend, you’ve been together ever since you were college, why are you doing this to her? i asked bitterly.
“am not doing anything to her, i like her so much because she’s my friend and you know i always get jealous whenever i see you together, i mean you guys have been friends for so long and so in love with each other and one secret i have to tell you,” she chuckle.
“i’ve always liked you,” she whisper to my ears
“don’t worry Kendrick i will always spy on Starr, she always tells me everything and i will know how close she is with Greg and that Tony of a guy. I will help you keep your girlfriend and no one will take her away from you as far as you keep giving me what i want,” she smiled running her fingers on my ch-est.
“enough of this Nica, just leave and i don’t want your help anymore. I know how to keep my girlfriend, you’re just a horrible friend,” i snorted.
“hey don’t act like am the bad person here, Starr will be so heartbroken if she knows about his, and she might not even forgive you,” she smirked and walked out while i sighed, i clenched my fist, then hit it so ha-rd on the wall. What did i just did…. this might ruin my relationship with Starr and i don’t want that!!!
▪Sarah’s POV▪▪
I took a shower and put on something light, something Greg will like. An idea pop into my mind and i quickly go for my red nightie which was so transparent, revealing the pan-ts i was wore and also my bo-obs. I went to check on Greg but he wasn’t in his room. I looked around and i was glad when i saw him at the balcony, looking so handsome and hot, he was backing me.
“Greg,” i called. He turn to look at me. He kinda looked surprise as he stare at me for a long time particularly at my body.
“Sarah,” he called while i smiled then walked up to him.
“i thought you’re asleep already? i just ordered some pizza for you- you might be hungry already,” he mutter still staring at me.
“am not hungry, i was just awake because i could’t sleep, i kept thinking about lots of things,”
“lots of things! like what? he asked.
“about my mom, Princess, dad and most importantly you Greg.. i hope a day will come when you’ll love me back,” i muttered in a sad tone trying to hold back my tears- why am i this emotional!
I moved closer and stare at him closely.
“i hope a day will come when the both of us will live like this as married couple, will that day ever comes? i asked slowly while he kept quiet looking so speechless! i slowly ki-ssed him, i thought he’ll push me or stop me like the other time but he didn’t, he reciprocates to it and i felt so good.
▪▪Greg’s POV▪▪
I slowly pulled away from the ki-ss.
“you need some rest Sarah,” i said while she held my hand and was staring at me in tears.
“tell me Greg, please give me my answer-will that day ever come? she asked.
“Sarah i don’t know and i don’t think so, please you need to go and rest,” i said while she walked out in tears.
I went back to my room and couldn’t stop thinking about the whole thing. I wish Sarah will just understand me because i don’t want her to end up like her mom.
I remembered the necklace i saw on Starr, it looks exactly like the one Princess was having but then i remembered what she told me that it was given to her by her father while this necklace was given to Princess by her mother, and now Sarah just told me to Princess is dead for real. I was so confused not knowing what to think anymore.

▪▪ Starr’s POV▪▪
A lot has been going on my mind lately and i would have almost forget Kendrick birthday if Nica hadn’t remind me.
“are you sure you’ll gonna accompany to the shopping mall tomorrow? i asked.
“yes bestie, i will and mind you, you have to get Kendrick something good you know, we’ll discuss about this later,” she chuckle while i smiled then hanged up. Nica can be so crazy atimes.
“welcome dad,” i smiled then ki-ssed him on his forehead when he sat down.
“you look so tired,”
“yea, today was so hectic,” he mumbled, i squat down then helped him removed his shoes.
“where’s Laura? he asked.
“she’s making dinner, oh! here she is? i said when i sight her coming from the kitchen.
“dad haven’t i told you to stop stressing yourself,” she said.
“yes dad, i and Laura are now grown up and we are both capable of taking care of you just the same way you did for us,” i said.
“you don’t have to keep on doing this father, i sometimes wish mom was here,” Laura said while Dad was quiet.
“yea, but things are different now and you know how i hate staying at home doing nothing..
“you’re just stubborn dad,”
“am just making things a lot easier for us, Laura hasn’t get a job yet and i don’t like her work as a waitress in that hotel, remember what happen to you when you try to work there,” he said so worried.
“Laura will soon get a job because i talked to Tony already,” i said while Laura gasped.
“Tony.. oh my…!!!” Laura smiled.
“considering the fact that your result are good and you can handle working in such company he said he’ll look into it and give me a call,” Laura yelled happily and jumped on my body.
“thank you Starr,” she squeaked, looking so excited.
“but why didn’t you tell us about this earlier? dad asked.
“i just want to surprise you, telling you now wasn’t part of my plan but it a good thing you know anyway,” i smiled.
“thank you Starr, maybe i will get to be with that cute guy you know,” she said dreamily while i rolled my eyes..
✨ I and Laura sat on a bench, enjoying the cool breeze. The moonlight was shining so bright and am glad the full moon appeared today.
“dad use to tell us whenever the full moon appear we should make any wish and it will come to pa-ss,” i said while Laura laughed
“you still believe that?
“yes,”
“okay then, what’s your wish?
“it in the heart and it should be a secret but with time you’ll get to know it,” i smiled.
“so Friday is Kendrick’s birthday, what are you planing to give him? she asked.
“am planing to surprise him you know, a very big surprise,” i smiled
“so what the surprise?
“surprise are meant to be secret until they’re reveal,”
“uhmmm, seems everything is a secret to you. Hope you guys aren’t planing to do something Nau-ghty? she asked while i pulled her nose teasingly.
“don’t be so silly, after all Kendrick is my boyfriend. Well i have go and sleep now! tomorrow will gonna be a long day,” i yawn then stood up.
“thank you Starr, thank you for helping me out,” she said.
“it nothing Laura, thank you too for accepting me to be part of this family,” i smiled. We went to our room and i picked up my diary and jot something down:

It been long i hold you because i have been thinking about a lot lately…
Now am ready to give in to all Kendrick’s demand,
am ready to accept his proposal and be his forever,
am ready to spent the rest of my life with him..
am ready to start up a family with him, i don’t want to waste much time on that again…**✍
I kept smiling as i wrote down those things. I know Kendrick will be so happy about this.

The next day…✨
Immediately after my shift, i meet up with Nica and she accompanied me to the shopping mall.
” so you mean Laura will soon work at the RE Cooperate? Nica asked while i nodded.
“hopefully,” i replied while i stare at the eye-catching things around.
“i want to get dad some new things,”
“awwww, that’s so sweet of you! you love your dad so much,”
“sure!
“so what about Dr. Greg?
“huh! what about him? i hardly see him and beside why are you asking?
“nothing, so what are you planing for Kendrick?
“just wait and see!
“Starr! a familiar voice called my name, i turn around and was surprise to see Tony. What a coincidence!
“wow! what are you doing here,” he smiled.
“Tony,” i called happily, he’s just one of my friend i sometimes feel free to talk with.
“am here to get something,” i smiled.
“uhmm.. this my friend Nica,” i said introducing him to her.
“hi.. she squeaked.
“hi, nice meeting you Nica,” he smiled.
“Tony, we have to go now!” a woman said then walked up to us. I was surprise to see her, she looks so beautiful and i don’t why i kept staring at her.
“mom! this my friend Starr,” Tony said while i smiled.
“Starr she’s my mom. It been long we went shopping together so we decide to make it up to each other,” he chuckle while i nodded.
“your name is Starr? the woman asked while i nodded, for some reasons i don’t know she quickly moved closer and hug-ged me. This feeling is just different. who is she? and why was she acting as if she knows me.
“it nice meeting you Starr,” she smiled then disentangled form the hug while i smile.
“and this my friend Nica,” i said to her while Nica smiled at her.
“nice meeting you Ma’am,” said Nica.
“you’re welcome,” she replied.
“we have to go now,” Tony said to her while she nodded.
“okay Starr see you another time, am in a haste and i don’t want to keep my waiting,” he smiled while i nodded. I watched them and smiled- Tony is so lucky!!!
“did you know that woman? Nica asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
“huh! that woman.. i don’t know her but it feels like i have known her.. the feeling is just different, i can’t explain,” i said.
“she’s Tony’s mom and she looks so beautiful, she was staring at the you the whole time,”
“yea, i don’t know her too and i guess this the first time am seeing her,” i said while Nica nodded.
▪▪Erica’s POV▪▪
I confronted Max, he was so stupid to spill out everything to Sarah. I told him to keep that a secret between us! i should have just killed him a long time ago to avoid such things. Now Sarah is nowhere to be found and i don’t know where she is, she wasn’t picking up my calls and she wasn’t with Edward as well.
I kept walking to and fro before Edward ended his call. I was already at his house.
“if anything bad should happen to Sarah i will blame you for this Erica,” he yelled at me.
“we just had a little argument and she left. Sarah is stubborn just like you, so stop blaming me,” i yelled back.
“this isn’t the right time to blame each other. Sarah is a matured enough to take care of herself. Just try to give her time maybe she just need to be alone somewhere,” Mabel said while i rolled my eyes.
“it easy for you to say that because you have no child. Your Princess is gone for good and now you just feel comfortable telling me she can take care of herself. Just stay out of this Mabel let Edward and i talk about our daughter,” i snarled.
“Erica.. i guess it better you leave to avoid troubles,” Edward said.
“don’t create a scene here Erica,” Amelia said while i shoot her a glare.
“you should also stay out of this,” i warned.
“don’t you dare talk to my mom this way,” Tony said angrily.
“i will just call Greg and ask him about this,” he said.
“you don’t even have a single right in this family because you’re only adopted,” i fired back at Tony but he kept quiet and walked out angrily.
I glare at Mabel and all i feel for her was pure hatred.
▪▪Starr’s POV▪▪
It Friday and i was glad about that because it Kendrick birthday. I called him on phone that morning and wish him a happy birthday, we talked and everything was fine with him but when i went to see him at his place, he showed me some pictures.
“Ken.. what is this for? I asked confused as i stare at the picture and wonder how he get to have them. It a picture of me and Tony when he dropped me home the other day- so weird!
“it was Greg at first and now that Tony of a guy? he asked.
“he just decide to give me a ride. Kendrick, today is your birthday and we should’t be arguing over this,”
“no Starr! i never wanted to talk to you about this but i can’t because am hurt. I no longer feel secured. I love you Starr and i have every right to know the one in your life?
“i know that but why are you doing all this, is it necessary to have someone followed me and even take pictures of me. I thought we trust each other? i asked a little bit angry.
“yes i trust you Starr but i wouldn’t watch and see another man take you away from me!
“no one is taking me away from you,” i yelled back at him.
“then why do i always feel so and why did you always attend to them? is it because they’re richer than i am? are you gonna allow them buy your love with their money,” he yelled angrily while i stood speechless and watch him in tears…
“you know what! you just ruin this day and also my mood. Think whatever you want to think,” i stated then walked away..?♂️?
