▪▪Starr’s POV▪▪
I heaved a sighed of relief when Sarah left! i mean why me, what makes her think i and Dr. Greg are something- which is totally wronged or is it that bad to be friendly with him.
Sarah’s POV?
I arrived at mom’s mansion, feeling so angry about the whole thing. Maybe with this warning that Starr will actually stopped all her bad intentions.
” what did you do this time around? mom asked while i frowned.
“nothing.. the plan isn’t working. Am just so frustrated mother. I felt relief because that Hilary of a girl has left already but now with that girl Starr, she seems to make things difficult for me,” i half yelled.
“uhmm, maybe it because you’re not smart enough Sarah,” she said while i rolled my eyes.
“what else did you want me to do?
“get ride of her! she said while i stood speechless.
▪▪Starr’s POV▪▪
“Sarah!!! the voice echoed and before i knew it i shoot. I quickly wake up from sleep trying to remember the dream but i couldn’t. The doctor once said i might never regain back my childhood memories especially now that it almost fifteen years. I just don’t understand myself.. why did i keep remembering the name Sarah and yet i couldn’t see the face- who is she to? is she someone from my past? but could it be that arrogant Sarah! Oh no, that’s can’t possibly be her.
“hey,” Laura called as she walked in fully dressed.
“what’s wrong? she asked.
“i don’t know, i don’t know why i keep having this dream or should i say my memories are gradually becoming back even thou it gonna be difficult,” i said sadly.
“so what did you remember?
“nothing in specific just that the name Sarah is something i can only recall from my past,”
“you know what, you still need a doctor why not ask Dr. Greg maybe he can be of help,”
“what! i can’t do that, i don’t want him to think am abusing his kindness towards me afterall he has done enough,” i said.
“okay then, please don’t tell dad about this! am going to see mom,” Laura said while i gasped. Ever since we moved here dad warned us to stay away for Mrs. Kate for good but i wouldn’t blame Laura because she’s still her mother.
“mom is already regretting what she did to you and am glad she’ll soon be out of prison, maybe to make it up to you,” Laura said while i nodded.
“okay!.
Laura’s POV?
I sat down opposite to mom at the visiting area and she held my hand, her eyes were already filled with tears, she has changed so much.
“so mom what are you planing to do once you’re out of here? i asked, trying to hold back my tears.
“nothing, i just want to be with you Laura, you’ve grown so big and i feel so stupid for not being there for you as a mother,” she cried making me want to cry too.
“but dad have always been there,”
“your dad will still have to pay for what he did to me, he took you away from me,” she said.
“but mom it wasn’t his fault neither,” i said.
“and what about Starr, why isn’t she with you? is she still mad at me? she asked.
“no mom, she’s just busy! Starr has been the best sister to me and i love her so much, please mom i hope you’ll try to make it up to her for all the lost years, i hope you’re now a better person,” i said in tears.
▪▪Kate’s POV▪▪
I was still in tears as i stare at Laura, am glad we still keep in touch and at the same time once am out of here am coming for Arnold and Starr. I will make sure i avenge what they did to me.
▪▪Starr’s POV▪▪
I was glad i saw Dr. Greg today and i guess this right time to tell him what happen between me and Sarah, maybe it wasn’t a good idea to work here after all.
“you mean she confronted you? he asked, surprised!
“yea, but it nothing. I just thought maybe it better i back off for everyone will be at peace,”
“no Starr, am not gonna allow that. I mean by on earth will she do that? he scoffed while i shrugged.
“or maybe it better we keep our distance who knows if she spying on us and i just keep wondering why it have to be me, we are just friends and it not like we are doing something wrong,” i stated feeling a bit angry when i remembered how she slapped me.
“am sorry about that, i guess it better i talk to Sarah myself..
“you don’t have to please, am just telling you because am not too sure working here is the best thing after all,”
“you don’t have to think twice about this, i will handle it myself,” he said then turn to leave but then i remembered what Laura told me, maybe Greg might help me when i told me about my real story.
“but Sir, can someone regain his memories after fourteen years? i asked while he stopped then turn back to me.
“huh! what happen? he asked curiously.
“nothing…
“of course it something, you want to tell me something Starr, did you lose your memories for this long? he asked staring keenly at me.
“what! of course not. It a friend of mine and am just curious, i want to know everything,” i said while he nodded, immediately his phone rang and he picked up the call.
“okay, am coming right away,” he concluded then turn to me.
“i will get back to you, i have to go for now,” he said while i nodded.
▪▪Later in the evening i went to visit Kendrick, he said he wanted us to go somewhere.. somewhere special!
“wow! you’re looking so beautiful,” he smiled when he saw me.
“thank and you look so handsome too, so are we going on a date? i asked while he nodded.
“yea but a special one,” he smiled.
“you know! am just so happy having you in my life, it a dream come true and i hope we stick to each other,” he said holding my two hands while i smiled then hu-gged tightly-
“i love you so much,” i muttered. He ki-ssed me, a very long and de-ep pa-ssionate ki-ss, they ecstasy i felt was like no other. The ki-ss was getting so intense, Kendrick’s hands went down to my wai-st as he slowly push me back to the bed, he straddled over my body and my hand tightened over his shoulder pulling him closer, everything was just perfect and i enjoyed he’s touched but i still have to stopped him, i slowly held his hands back, when he was trying to pull out my gown.
“what? he asked in a whisper.
“am not just ready for this,” i said sheepishly, then stood up adjusting my gown and hair.
“and that’s reminds me, you said we are going out,” i smiled trying to calm how nervous i was.
“Starr that’s what you’ve always said, you’re not ready for this, you’re not ready for that! what’s up with you now? he half yelled while i sighed.
“am only trying to wait for the right time Kendrick, yes i love you so much but we can’t just rush into things just like tha..
“or maybe you have interest in someone else! Just tell me Starr did you really love me? he asked angrily.
“i do Kendrick but..
“okay then! marry me! let get done with this,” he said and i was surprise to see him removing a ring from his pocket.
“yes Starr, i love you and that’s why am doing this,” he said while i stood shocked not knowing what to say.
“say something Starr,” he said tenderly then he held my hand.
“no Kendrick..,” i said slowly then hurriedly out of the room…???♂️
