Mabel stood at the balcony, staring the stars with much tears in her eyes, she couldn’t und-erstand what wrong with her. But she knew something is definitely wrong somewhere and it might about her missing daughter Princess.
“Mabel, please let get back to the dining table. Mom and Tony are waiting for us,” Edward said calmly as he stood behind her.
“no, i can’t eat anything now after all am no longer hungry,” she said trying to make sure her voice doesn’t sound cracking, but Edward knew her so well.
“tell me what’s wrong with you? he asked
“just leave me alone Edward! i want to be alone, can’t you und-erstand that,” she said little bit pissed off.
“did i do anything wrong?.. what just came over you Mabel, i can’t seems to und-erstand you these days. Is it still about Princess? he asked as he moved closer, then held her hands gently.
“yes it about Princess and i can’t seems to have peace of mind, i don’t know if my daughter is alive or death. Am just having a bad feeling about it, she might be in danger now,” Mabel cried while Edward hug-ged her.
“the officer investigating Princess case said she might be death, it breaks my heart to hear that from him but i don’t want to believe it,” Edward said sadly while Mabel disengaged from the hug.
“if Princess is truly death, then we should at least find her body and give her a befitting burial. Edward can’t you see that we couldn’t find Princess neither death or alive but my instinct are telling me she’s alive. As long as her death body isn’t found i will never believe my daughter is death. i just hope she’s safe wherever she is. Please Princess stay strong for your parents, i will definitely find you someday as long as you’re alive me for me,” Mabel said in tears while Edward hug-ged her tightly.
“i guess you need some rest now,” he said, then walked her to the bedroom.
“don’t think too much Mabel. Let just keeping hoping and praying for Mabel to survive. You’re the only one i have left and i don’t want to lose you too,” he said softly then ki-ssed her before leaving.
“how is Mabel doing? Amelia asked so worried when she saw Edward walking towards them.
“she’s sad mother, she’s not in a good condition and this might affect her health seriously. I guess our lives will never be normal without Princess,” Edward said sadly while Tony looked at him not knowing what to say.
“but son, don’t you have any suspect. Don’t you think Erica has anything to do with this? Amelia asked while Edward looked at her blankly.
“huh! i don’t know. I know Erica can’t be completely trusted but she changed ever since Princess denote her Kidney to her daughter. Erica decide to let go of this marriage for Mabel,
she left without any grudges and she also promise me, we won’t have problem with Sarah because Sarah can always come anytime she want to. Mom i don’t know if Erica is pretending but i don’t want to accuse her or cause her much pain, she left me peacefully and we are all good i don’t want to ruin that friendship between us but that doesn’t mean i will allow myself to be fool by her, i will hire a private investigator to investigate more about her and if she has to do with Princess disappearance,” Edward said while Amelia nodded, she felt so guilty, she felt like splitting everything to Edward but she can’t because she’s also involved in it, she’s scared Edward and Mabel might detest her, they might never forgive her and this what she feared the most.
“just be careful son, i love you so much. I lose my grand daughter and also your dad and i don’t want to lose you too,” she said then hug-ged him.
“you can’t count on me mom. I failed to Protect Princess but i promise myself whosoever behind her disappearance will pay with their blood. I will kill them myself and i don’t care if it Erica or anyone close to me because i won’t hesitate to pull the trigger at their forehead,” Edward said coldly while Amelia was scared to see him this way.
“it because of them i lose my only child, it still because of them my wife went crazy and she’s sad, Mabel can never be happy without Princess, i will kill them one by one,” Edward yelled angrily while Amelia quickly held him by the shoulder.
“it’s well son, don’t allow anger and hatred to occupied your heart at this moment, remember you still have a son to raise,” Amelia said pointing at Tony.
“sure,” Edward said sadly.
“is it about Princess? will she ever come back dad? Tony asked sadly.
“i don’t know but i hope so, Tony i guess you should go and check on your mother in her room,” Edward said while Tony nodded then left.
He open the door slowly and meet Mabel hugging of picture of a girl, she must be Princess” he thought.
“are you okay mom? he asked.’
“yes.. Tony i just want to be alone,” Mabel wiping away her tears.
“mom, i just want to help you out, i want to help you find Princess,” Tony said sadly then sat down beside her.
“her case is just complicated Tony, we don’t even know where to find her but one thing am certain is that your sister is still alive. That’s how it has always been ever since Princess went missing,” Mabel said.
“okay mom, i know i can’t fill the vacuum Princess left in your heart but i know i still have my own little space in your heart, i promise to be a good son to you and thank for adopting me and giving me a good life, this all belong to Princess i just feel so guilty about it,” Tony said while Mabel smile sadly then squee-zehis hand gently.
“don’t feel guilty about anything Tony. I have always told you to feel free because this is your home too and am your mother now. Since i couldn’t be with Princess i promise to be the best mother to you Tony,” she said then hug-ged him…

▪▪▪▪Starr was rushed to the hospital while Arnold have Kate arrest immediately, he promise himself to make her pay for doing this to the poor innocent girl.
“so now tell me Laura, were you part of this? he yelled at her but she kept crying.
“speak Laura or else i’ll lose my temper, you’ll rot in jail for the rest of your life and i will never be a father to you, i will hate you Laura and i will make sure all your friends hate you and sees you as a murderer,” Arnold yelled at her.
“am sorry papa, i didn’t do anything it was moma, she stabbed Starr,” Laura said in tears.’
“but it all your fault, you supported her, how could you? what if Star didn’t survive this, i will never forgive you and i will personally sent you to jail,” Arnold ranted as kept pacing up and down, he was hoping to see the doctor or nurses who were treating Starr.
“just keep praying in your heart, make sure Starr survive this or else i will kill you myself,” Arnold yelled at the little girl Laura who was crying so bitterly.

Arnold make sure Kate was in jail, he decided to push throu-ghwith her case for stabbing an innocent girl who is struggling for her life and he doubt if Starr will ever be alive again. He promise to her rot in jail and that’s what he’s dealing with, to see her rot in jail.
Kendrick was so worried when he heard about Star condition, he was so disappointed in Laura for supporting her mother to do this. He was at the hospital with Laura, still hoping Starr will be awake anytime soon.
“Laura just hope that Starr will survive if she doesn’t i will help your father to lock you up the prison,” he yelled her.
“am sorry okay, it wasn’t my fault, i wasn’t the one who stabbed her, it was my mother,” Laura said in tears.
“and i don’t fu-cking care, if anything bad should happen to Starr i will also stab you, so you can have a taste of what it means to be stabbed with a knife,” Kendrick said rudely then pushed her rou-ghly on the floor.
“you’re so pathetic, evil and stupid,” he yelled, then walked away angrily. Laura watch him leave as she stood up in tears, she hated herself for what her mother did, now all her friends her beginning to hate her, they might even sent her to jail, she thought about what her father said.
“please Starr be alive to save me because i know if you end up death my life will be miserable, i will never have peace, please wake up soon,” Laura said in tears.
Weeks Later..✨
Sarah was surprise to see her mom and a man making out on a couch at the sitting room.
“mom,” she called slowly while Erica quickly stopped then looked at her.
“haven’t i told you to stay in your room and focus on your books,” Erica said while Sarah walked closer to them.
“who’s he? Sarah asked.
“oh.. this,” Erica said referring to the man, she winked at him then ki-ssed rou-ghly while Sarah stare at them in disgust.
“he’s Leon, you can call him dad because he’ll soon be your father,” Erica smiled.
“my dad,” Sarah took a looked at him again, his hair was dye red, he has tattoo all over his body and an ear ring on his left ear.
“hi pretty young lady,” he said while Sarah scoffed.
“my father.. i don’t like him and i don’t want a father because i already have one,” Sarah said.
“but he’ll soon be my husband Sarah, you have to get use to it,” Erica said.
“seems the little girl is addicted to Edward,” Leon laughed.
“mom i guess it will be much better if i stay with my dad, because i don’t like this guy here,” Sarah huffed.
“i don’t care Sarah, don’t make this ha-rd on both of us, i don’t freaky care if you like him or not, remember your stupid father Edward never loved me and am sure you also saw how much he loved Mabel, so i left and that’s the best thing i have ever done by leaving the marriage and now i have found true love and you still don’t like me. Suit yourself but mind you, you have to obey all my rules,” Erica said while Sarah looked at her angrily then walked back to her room. Ever since she moved to this mansion with her mom, he felt so lonely, it doesn’t feel at home again, she sometimes wish for the old times especially during their vacation at Switzerland when Princess was still alive.
“i wont give up on you Princess, i hope you return back to us someday,” She said sadly.

▪▪▪▪Arnold has spent all the money he has on Starr’s treatment, it wasn’t easy for him but he have to save the little girl. He was able to pushed throu-ghwith his annulment with Kate, he felt it was no longer right to love someone like Kate, it better if he cut off all ties with her and that’s what he did before she was later sentence FIFTEEN YEARS IMPRISONMENT. Arnold was happy about that at least he was able to get justice for Starr and Kate won’t go Scott free.
He was already at the police station with Laura who was crying, she couldn’t believe her mother will be away from her, fifteen years was such a long time, she was sad because she don’t want to grow up without a mother. Arnold required to talk to Kate and they agreed to that.

?Arnold and Laura sat opposite to Kate.
“Starr is not yet awake but she’s und-er treatment, i still hope she survive,” Arnold said while Kate starred at him with so much hatred.
“it not like she’s death, fifteen years is such a long time, what about my Laura,” Kate said looking at Laura who wasn’t saying anything.
“i will take care of her, after all she’s my daughter,”
“Laura deserve her mother by her side and also a love of a mother,” Kate said while Arnold laughed out hearing that.
“a love of a mother? do you even know what love means, you stabbed a little girl and you’re still saying a love of a mother…? Arnold questioned her.
“that’s because she’s not my biologically daughter..
“that’s the case Kate and that what disqualifies you from being a mother, you only care about your biological daughter and that’s not what real woman do, you’re a monster and you will pay for this. I don’t love you anymore and it a good thing you’re longer my wife and to tell you the truth i regret the day i ever meet you Kate, i have always knew you were this evil but i have to stayed back for Laura, you’re such a useless woman, a useless wife and a disgrace to all mothers, i hate you so much and i wish you’ll rot here because this where you belong you, at least once Starr regain consciousness i and Laura will have a quiet and peaceful life without you and i promise you this we’ll go far away where you’ll never find us,” Arnold yelled at her.
“Laura is still my daughter too,” Kate said.
“well, your imaginative daughter. Have a horrible stay here, i wish you’ll just die,” Arnold said then stood up.
“mother…” Laura said in tears.
“i love you Laura please don’t allow your father to brainwash you. Always know that Starr is our enemy she’s the reason am locked up here and once am out of this place i will make her suffer again,” Kate said while Arnold quickly dragged Laura with him outside.
“so dad, mom is staying here for fifteen years? Laura asked wiping away her tears.
“sure and i guess that’s the best thing. Laura don’t ever listen to your mother, if you still want me to forgive you, then you have to listen to me from now hence forth,” he said while she nodded.
“okay papa,” she said. Arnold received a call, that Starr is awake, it was such a good news, him and Laura quickly rushed to the hospital to see her.
“doc, will she be fine? Arnold asked.
“sure, the wounds are healing but she still have to be in bed all day until the wound get to heal all,” the doctor explained while Arnold nodded, he was taken to her ward to see her. Laura was so happy to see her as she rush to her.
“please forgive me Starr, am sorry for maltreating you, please forgive me,” she cried while Arnold smiled seeing how Laura was sorry for what she did.
“you don’t have to disturb her,” the nurse said while Laura nodded.
“okay nurse.. i just want to talk to her,” Arnold said then moved closer to Starr on the bed.
“thank you for being strong Starr, thank you for fighting to be with us, i also make sure Kate paid for what she did to you,” Arnold said while Starr nodded in tears.
“am in so much pains now,” she said.
“don’t worry, all these shall pa-ss. The doctor said your wound will soon be heal,” Arnold said sadly.

Months Later….✨▪▪
Starr was discharged from the hospital but she still have a big scar on the side of her stomach, where she was stabbed.
“so where’s mom? she asked.
“she’s in jail, i have told you that already, she paying for her sins,” Arnold said to her while she looked at Laura whom was sad.
“it all my fault,” she said
“don’t blame yourself Starr, mom was at fault and she’s paying for it, i just miss her badly, imaging life without her for good fifteen years,” Laura said.
“i love you both and i promise to give you the best life ever,” Arnold said. Kendrick walked in and Star was happy to see him.
“Ken..” she smiled.
“thank goodness you’re discharged i don’t have to go the hospital everyday,” he said then looked at her Laura.
“are you still angry with me Kendrick? Laura asked.
“no, because Star is alive and your mom is paying for her sins,” he said while Laura smiled sadly.
“i bring this along,” he said then showed her, her ne-cklace.
“what! you still keep this safe? Star asked very surprise to see it.
“sure,”
“thank you Kendrick,” she smiled then collect it from him then gave Arnold.
“i know you spent a lot and Laura told me you even have to sell some things just to get money for my treatment, i guess it time i pay you back,” Starr said while Arnold smiled.
“you’re my daughter, you don’t have to pay me back,” he said.
“no, i guess it better you sell this ne-cklace to get all the money you’ve lose. I see no reason why i should keep it again, its like a burden to me,” she said.
“no.. am not doing this Starr and don’t ever say the ne-cklace is a burden to you. This the only thing you have from your past, this the only thing that can connect you with your family again, please keep it safe,” he said while she nodded.
“but Starr, don’t you still remember anything from your past? he asked.
“i don’t think so… i can’t seems to remember anything but the only thing i could remember is that i once live in a mansion, am just confuse, please let just forget about that. Am glad we are all complete,” Starr said with a smiled.
“and one more good news,” Arnold.
“what is it papa? Laura asked curious.
“you guys are going to school,” he said.
“what! am so happy,” Starr giggle.
“but i can’t promise you this next year because i don’t even have a dime now. But by next year, my main target is to see you in school with your sister Starr,” Arnold said while Laura smiled.
“thank you papa, it been long time i went to school,” Laura smiled.
“am willing to give you the best,” Arnold said feeling so happy with himself.

?Life has been pretty good with Arnold, Laura and Starr. Kate was the problem because now that’s she’s away, far away from them everything seems to be fine.
? Today is exactly one year Arnold found Starr. It 1st January and as usual the people were celebrating the new year at the river side. Starr was having a good time with Laura, Kendrick and some of their friends.
“dad,” Starr called happily as she sat down beside him.
“today mark exactly one year i found you and am sure your parents miss you,” he said.
“maybe… i don’t even think i have a family somewhere is just confusing dad, but am happy you found me. Everything happen for a reason am glad Laura is now a good sister to me, am just so happy now,” Starr smiled.
“and am happy too, this year will be much better, better than last year and i hope our happiness last forever,” Arnold said while Starr smiled.
That same evening…?
Erica took Sarah to visit her dad Edward, she was glad to meet Greg their. It was Princess birthday and the same day she went missing. All Sarah wanted is to comfort her dad and also Mabel.
“Greg, am glad to see you,” Sarah said happily.
“yeah, today is Princess birthday and the also the same day she’s missing, am scare another year will pas-swithout anyone finding her,” Greg said so worried
.
“am also scared Greg, i hope Princess is save wherever she is,” Sarah said.
“i miss her so much and i won’t giving up on her, i just hope it won’t take too long for her to come back to us,” Greg said while Sarah nodded.
“dad.. ” Sarah smiled when she Edward and Mabel.
“i miss you daddy, i want to come back to you, i don’t want to stay with mommy again,” she said sadly then hug-ged him tight.
“i miss you too Sarah, is your mom giving you a ha-rd time? Edward asked.
“i don’t know but i just want to stay with you again,” Sarah said.
“okay, i guess i will just talk to your mom about that,” he said while Sarah nodded then went and hug-ged Mabel.
“i miss you mom Mabel,” she said while Mabel smiled.
“your sister is a year older today, she’s clocked eleven today and she’s nowhere to be found,” Mabel said.
“and i miss her so badly.. i so much love my sister and this whole year that pa-ssed, my life was so miserable without her, even in school! i just felt so lonely and empty,” Sarah cried.
“it okay Sarah, we are doing everything we can to find your sister,” Mabel said in a shaky voice as she use her handkerchief and wipe away Sarah tears.
“All you need to do for princess is to pray for her,” she said.
“hi Edward,” Erica said as she walked up to them while Sarah turn to looked at her.
“am still sorry for the what happen to Princess, i wish she was here,” Erica said.
“it okay Erica, those who did this to her will pay and i will get to the root of this matter,” Edward said while Erica smiled.
“okay, i hope so and i also hope you do it the right way,” she smirk.
“well am here because of Sarah and also to invite you to my wedding,” she said, as she removed an envelope from the bag then hand it over to Edward.
“you’re getting married? Mabel asked.
“sure… i hope you guys will come,” Erica said while Edward nodded.
“yeah, anyway congratulations,” Edward said. Sarah left them to talk as she went to sit with Greg and Tony.
“so what are you guys discussing about? she asked.
“am just telling him more about Princess,” Greg said while she nodded.
“i wish she’s here,” Sarah said in a sad tone.

Kate’s Pov?

I held onto the iron bars and more tears kept flowing down my cheeks, fifteen years is such a long time, i can’t stay here for fifteen years and allow Arnold to be with Laura, he’ll brainwash her and i won’t allow that. Starr is the main cause of all this. If she haven’t come into our lives i wouldn’t have stab her and i wouldn’t have end up here. So much anger and hatred was filled in me. Once am out of here i will make sure i get my daughter back from Arnold and i will personally murder Arnold and Starr…
