“Why am I nee-ded sir?” Ethan asked still giving Murphy the pure look of confusion.
“You know Laura right? Your ex?”
“Yeah.uhh I do”
“We nee-d you to come with us. We have few questions for you, So would you mind plea-se?” Murphy asked warmly. Ethan sadly sighed and tried to get his moody face off.
“Okay sir, Let’s go” He finally said.
“Excuse me. But is it about Mr Lynn hit-and-run accident?” Alexa asked. It drew Murphy’s attention to her. He smiled and nodded.
“Do you know him?” Murphy asked
“He’s Alex. His son” Ethan spoke for her.
“Alex? Wow.. What a big coincidence” Murphy smiled. Alexa returned the smile and bowed lightly.
“Are you getting something now?” She asked.
“Yeah. It’s all thanks to your sister. She’s really smart” He replied
“I know right but she can be annoying sometimesāShe replied in a childish whisper. They both laughed.
“Nevertheless, plea-se take care of her” Alexa said now bowing her head really low.
“There isn’t a problem. Okay then, Have a good day”
“You too sir. Thank you so much… Huh, Wait!” She suddenly raised her voice.
“Huh? Me?” Murphy stĀ©pped looking at her.
“No. Him” She pointed at Ethan who kept his moody face down. She went to him, faced him and held the hem of his shi-t’s arm.
“Come back quic-k and stay safe” She whispered. Ethan smiled and nodded.
“Okay. I will, Will you wait till I come?”
“Should I?” She asked
“No. Geez, I was just pu-lling your legs. Now, off you go. Sir, We can go now!” Ethan looked at her again and held her soft hand which was still on his hem. He re-moved her hand slowly and gently dropped it. He gave her a heart warming smile and finally left. Murphy followed from behind. Alexa sighed sadly as Eric watched from behind.

“We are about to start now. Don’t worry, we aren’t suspecting you. We just wanna ask few questions? I hope you are okay with that?” Murphy asked. Ethan inhaled de-eply and nodded interlocking both f!ngerstogether.
Murphy sat opposite to him as he turned the pages of his large note book.
“So, My first question, plea-se answer directly, If you don’t un-derstand something, Lemme know? Okay?ā
“Okay”
…On the 19th of September around 10:35pm, Where were you?”
“I was at home with my friends”
“Did you call Laura that night?”
“No. But I was expecting her that night”
“You were expecting her?” Murphy asked furrowing his eyebrows. He placed the pen bo-ttomclose to hisl-ips.
“Yeah” Ethan replied
“Why?”
“We wanted to just see each other and hang out, you know like how normal lovers would do?”
“Oh. So, She missed the meet up then?”
“Yeah”
“When did you see her next after that night?”
“She c@mĀ£ over to my place the next morning”
“Did you ask her why she didn’t meet up?”
“Well. I did ask her but she felt uncomfortable and just apologized for missing it”
“I see. This is getting interesting. So, Did she do anything out of the ordinary?”
“Nah”
“You sure?”
“I guess?”
“Think ha-rder. You must have missed something. Even if it’s a tiny bit”
“Oh. I just remembered something!”
“What? What? What is it??…Out with it!??”
“We were k!ssiāEthan paused and nervously looked away. He was embarras-sed.
“Hey. Say everything that happened. No nee-d to feel this way. We are at a police station and not a fan signing event. It’s not gonna appear online or in the papers”
“Okay.. Uh, We were.. uhh, ma-king out like how other lovers would do when she received a call. She looked at her phone screen and her mood suddenly changed. I asked her to pick it but she waved it aside. I noticed she wanted to pick it but she was trying to dodge my presĀ£nce….
“Why are you stĀ©pping? Continue plea-se”
“Uhmm, This is actually so embarras-sing”
“Geez. I told you before. There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Say it alre-ady, I’m losing my patience”
“Huh. Okay, So… She told me she was stainedā
“Stained? Stained? As in how?”
“Stained as in āStainedā. Blood stains” Ethan explained feeling so embarras-sed.
He coughed loudly as he tried to avoid eye contact. Murphy bec@mĀ£ a little embarras-sed as well but tried to hide it.
“Okay then. Just continue” Murphy said quietly.
“She asked me to get a sanitary pad which I did. When I returned and gave it to her, Suprisedly, She turned it down”
“Oh.. It seems she picked the call when you left. She knew what she was doing after all”
“She lied to me?”
“Sure. She did! Are you disappointed?”
“Yeah. A little. Can’t believe she wasn’t stained, But I kinda know Laura. I’m not sure she can do something like this. I hope you are gonna look dee-per into this case and I also hope you will un-derstand and handle her with care”
“No problem. Seems you still like her?”
“I don’t really know anymore” Ethan replied tou-ching his hair.
“Huh?”
“I don’t un-derstand myself and feelings anymore” He tried explaining but Murphy still looked so confused.
“Uhhm, Leave that aside. So, It seems the caller is the real deal. Oh, That’s Alicia” Murphy smiled pointing over Ethan’s broad shoulders. He quic-kly looked behind and his eyes met Alicia.
“Who’s she?” He asked.
“She’s our smallie. She’s working with me for now concerning this case”
“What? Really? It’s incredible! Wow!”
“I know right. Anyways, She’s really good. But, Do you think she looks somewhat familiar?” Murphy sniffed watching Alicia come closer.
“Huh. I don’t really knāwait a minute, She has a little resemblance to Alex! Wait, Don’t tell me that her sister?”
“Sure is, Ma Boy!” Murphy exclaimed with laughter.
“Damn! I’m so surprised to the extent I’m going crazily shocked. Aiish, But how come, Alex isn’t smart like his sister?” Ethan tea-sed laughing as well.
“Hello!, Good day Sir” Alicia’s sweet voice interrupted them.
“Huhhn. Hello there?” Ethan smiled
“Who are you plea-se? Sorry for asking though” Alicia asked
“No. It’s okay.. Actually, I know you and you are gonna know me too”
“Huh? Seriously? Am I that famous now? Where do you know me from?” Alicia asked
“Aren’t you Alex sister?”
“Alex? You mean AleāAlicia paused and bit her l!pha-rd .
Oh, Yeah. I see you’ve met my brother alre-ady”
“Well. He works as a house keeper”
“Kinda Nice. Wow, Hey! Are you Ethan? From SB!?”
“Well. Yeah!”
“Amazing! I nee-d your autogra-ph like crazy right now! When Alex told me she was working for you. I refused to believe! Anyways, Ethan.. It’s nice to meet you” She smiled feeling very excited
“It’s a plea-sure to meet you too, Alicia” He chuckled as they stared at each other.

“Aiish! That Tom Boy! What the hell, Alex? ACK!! You’ve got to be kidding me” Alicia thought as she awkwardly formed a smile.

“Wow. You’re stunning Noona” Collins smiled.
“Whatever. This is the cheapest make up and dress you are ever gonna find in whole of Seoul!” Elizabeth scoffed sitting facing him.
“I’ve ordered alre-ady. So, just hold on for a bit. Noona, How do I look?” He asked and win-ked.
His win-ked eye made him look more handsome and S-xy for a while. Lizzy couldn’t deny she fell for that. She coughed her throat out and re-moved her gaze ignoring him.
“Here’s your order. plea-se, Enjoy” The waiter said placing the food on the table.
“Thank Goodness it isn’t a waitress. If it was, I know they are gonna ask stupid questions like āAre you guys on a d@tĀ£?ā…Aiish..So funny” Elizabeth gushed. Collins chuckled as they began to eat.
“Noona. You’re so boring when it comes to text messages. You aren’t chatting in a fun exciting way” Collins ch!pped.
“I never said I wanted to chat with you. You’d better appreciate that I even replied you” She retorted with her mouth a little full.
The waiter walked to them and sighed de-eply.
“I’m sorry for the inconvenience” He started.
“What? What do you mean? It’s okay.. We are doing just fine. Thanks for checking on us though” Lizzy replied forcing a smile.
“No. It’s not that” The waiter added with another de-ep sigh.
“Can you explain better. We seem lost” Collins gentle voice asked.
“Actually, This seat was reserved for another couple. It was my mistake. I don’t know what to do”
“Oh my. That’s bad but it’s fine. We can just move to another seat” Collins smiled
“Well.. That’s the real problem” The waiter said.
“What? You guys had better not start!” Lizzy almost yelled.
“I’m sorry. But actually, I’m sad to say all the seats has been occu-pied. The last one has been reserved for a couple. They are on their way as we speak” The waiter explained pointing at a vacant seat.
“Geez. This is bad. Elizabeth, What do you think we should do?” Collins asked.
“What’s this? Why do you bother? Aiish! We ain’t gonna stand from here. It’s your fault so go find a way out of this stupid mess!” Lizzy retorted rudely looking at the depressed waiter.
“I’m so sorry but I’ve kept the couple waiting for so longā
“No. It’s okay” A feminine voice ch!pped in from behind. The waiter looked behind and sighed sadly.
“I’m sorry, ma’am.. I tried butā
“No. It’s okay. The table is a large one. Do you have extra chairs at least 2?” She asked.
“Yeah” He replied.
“Can you hurry and get them for me. We are gonna manage here with them if you don’t mind, It’s gonna be 4 sets” The lady smiled.
“What’s this seriously? 4 seats? Darn it, My mood just got spoilt! Hey, Kiddo.. I’m leaving!” Lizzy snapped firmly.
“Hold on. plea-se! Huh, Just hold on. Let’s just give it a try?” Collins whispered
“Whatever. I’m leaving soon though” Lizzy retorted. The lady chuckled and looked at the door. She waved to a handsome man standing over there.
“Hey, Babe.. You can come over” The lady smiled giving him a signal.
The h0t looking man smiled in a S-xy way displa-ying his white flashy teeth and walked towards her. The lady ro-mantically links her hand onto his arm as the waiter c@mĀ£ in with the extra seats. He adjusted the table and chairs and gave the chairs an extra dusting.
Afterwards, The new Couple sat down together. Meanwhile, Lizzy and Collins were sitting together now facing the new couples directly.
“Wow. So, It’s a double d@tĀ£?” The lady smiled.
“I guess. I find it adorable and sweet” The man chuckled tou-ching the ti-p of his nose.
“I’m sorry but don’t you find this awkward? I don’t like this..and what makes you think we are here on a d@tĀ£?” Lizzy asked with a frown as she pointed at herself and then, Collins.
The couple looked at each other and laughed loudly. They faced both of them once again.
“Look. We ain’t gonna gain anything if we keep talking about this but to avoid the awkwardness, how about we have a little introduction at least. Who knows, we might feel at ease. You guys seem younger so why not go first?” The lady asked smiling.
“I’m Collins and She’s Elizabeth. You can just call her Lizzy” Collins smiled.
“Hey!!..You could have just kept quiet” Lizzy exclaimed folding her arms as she bit herl-ips.
“Is she your girlfriend?” The sweet couple guy asked in a whisper.
“No. Upcoming” Collins whispered back.
“Whoa. Wish you all the luck, Bro!”
“Thank you”
“You’re welcome”
“Aren’t you guys gonna introduce yourself?” Lizzy interrupted.
“Oh. Sorry, I’m ru-by and this is the Love of My Life… Ryan, It’s nice to meet you” The lady introduced wearing the sweetest smile ever as her āSweetheartā kept staring at her giving a S-xy smile.
She turned to stare at him but he wouldn’t take his S-xy eyes off her. She smiled sweetly and in front of them, She drew his face holding his hand chin closer to him.
“Can I k!ssyou?” She asked as Lizzy and Collins stared at them shocked.
He smiled and nodded as the lady landed him a cute short k!ss.
