The house is just so cold without her pres£nce. It’s past 1 In the morning and still I’m unable to sleep.
Why am I having a bad feeling that something is not right somewhere?
First, Ana’s mom got injected with a strange substance which the doctor finds ha-rd to diagnose. And my guess is, it’s slowly eating the life out of her.
Now, I have no idea where Ana is.
I have a feeling that someone close to knowing is responsible for all of this. But what has Ana done?
What have I done? Cause this is all affecting me. I can’t even sleep. I can’t eat. I can’t think straight.!
I had to forge something up for my kids about Ana so they’ll st©p being worried and go to be-d.
How long can I keep up with the lie?
What if I don’t find a solution to all of this?
Isn’t it obvious that Ana is in the custody of someone else? It’s obvious that she has been abducted.
Good thing I alre-ady reported the case to the commissioner of police. He gave me his word to look into it at the break of the day.
I made Ana a promise. I promised her nothing will happen to her mom. But how can I keep this promise when problem is coming from two different sides?.
My instinct tells me same person who injected Ana’s mom with a foreign substance g@s something to do with her abduction.
This can’t be a coincidence happening less than a week. Someone is definitely pioneering this sh•t.
For revenge or what???
But nee-dn’t worry, cause whoever it is, I’m gonna get you. And when I do, there’ll be no escape.

By Eight that morning, David who couldn’t sleep throu-ghout the night drove out of the house with Heavy heart.
He looked pale and tired. But his condition couldn’t suppress the anger on his face.
It’s all crystal clear to him now.
Who would inject Ana’s mom with no just cause?
Who would abduct Ana for no reason???
After much thinking last night, he finally figured out the as$hole behind this whole mess.
It’s Alicia! It has always been Alicia.
Why didn’t he think this on time?
That ẞitch has always been evil. She’s never tired of her dubious ways.
Firstly, she tried to kill Ana and Janietta. But luckily, didn’t succeed.
Secondly, concerning Ana’s mom, maybe it’s her way of getting back on Ana. He remembered the day she had referred *Medical t©uçh Hospital* the morning he was to admit Ana’s mom. That was how she got to know about the hospital she was receiving treatment from. Finding her way into the woman’s ward to inject her with such harmful substance wouldn’t be a problem to her.
Thirdly, Alicia hates Ana. Maybe she’s doing all this to get back at her since she feels Ana took the love of her life away from her.
Or maybe she’s doing this to get back at me cause she feels I made her lose her job. Her only source of livelihood.
Who knows?.
These were David conclusions as he furiously drove to the station.
Before leaving the house, he made sure to prepare breakfast for his kids. And just in case he doesn’t come back before noon, he alre-ady heated the leftover of dinner for the kids.
He also made sure to lock them in the house.
Ana is missing. He can’t risk the safety of his kids too.

I stared at the text message I received that morning with a satisfactory smile.
It’s done.
Everything I mapped out. It’s done!
I felt a bit relieved and Happy about the message content.

I texted back… and gave out a tired sigh.
Placing my phone aside, I rested back on my be-d. It’s morning alre-ady and probably past nine still I don’t feel like eating something.
Nora is actually around and maybe busy in the kitchen or in her room resting as well.
Ever since she got pregnant, she ha-rd ly take normal breakfast. Just fruits in the morning before lunch. Guess it’s her appetite. I bet not all miss preggie behave in such manner.
At this point, I won’t consider myself an inconsiderate person or friend with what I have in mind. Nora isn’t aware of anything and I intend to keep it that way.

My door suddenly opened with a confused Nora standing before it.
“I thought you said David dropped the charges”
“The hell? Of course he did.” I arched. Why would she ask such this morning?
“Is something wrong?” I asked. Her countenance, nothing close to bright.
“Come see for yourself” she walked out.
I quic-kly climbe-d down from The bad and followed behind. Getting to the sitting, I met David and some policemen standing. And funny enough, it looked like they were waiting for me.
“What is the meaning of this David?” Confused, I asked him.
“Do your thing officers” he instructed and they charged towards me.
Hold on.
“What is going on here? Why are you here with the police?”
“Follow us to the station Miss. You are nee-ded to answer some questions”
“What questions?” I reluctantly asked. This is a total haras-sment.
“To avoid any more complications, do as you’re told” David adviced… As they slowly led me out of the house.

I slowly opened my eyes from my subconscious. It’s a bit heavy and my head hurts like hell.
I don’t remember going to be-d last night.
What Time is it by the way.
I drifted my eyes to the wall where the wall clock is normally hunged. But found no clock. Maybe David took it out.
About David, I don’t remember seeing him before going to be-d. I don’t remember serving dinner.
Wait…..
I paused my movement when I noticed the be-d I was lying on.
This is definitely not my be-d. Neither is this my room.
Did I sleep in a wrong room last night??
Since I’ve been in this mansion, I’ve never come across any room with this pattern of decoration.
I don’t even remember going to be-d last night. I remember nothing of such.
The last I can clearly remember was going to Junior’s room and a knock c@m£ on the door which made me leave junior all by himself.
That’s the last thing I remember.
My heart skipped when all of sudden, I began hearing faint footsteps.
The steps were getting clearer as it approached closer.
Soon it st©pped at my door post. I guess.
Then slowly, the door’s knob twisted… The door ma-king a skrie-k sound.
In fear, I began to count steps back Ward.

“What the hell is going on here? Why the fu-ck will you accuse me of such? I have no damn idea where your sweetheart is David. Now will you tell these officers to uncuff me while I get my A$$ out of this di-p-sh•t?!”
Alicia who got obviously infuriated fired at David. She doesn’t know what’s going on. Why will he accuse me of such?
“You’re not moving an inch Alicia. I’m ever re-ady to lock you up in here till you provide Rosiana. I know you abducted her. You know where she is.
Don’t make me f0rç£ the Truth out of you” David snapped.
He’s trying his best to keep his cool. It’s just him and Alicia in the investigation room and he doesn’t want to do something funny.
“You’re a douchebag. What makes you think I have your girlfriend or whatever her name is. Why will I have her? This is just a mere accusation David m you have no evidence to prove that.” She replied back.
“I have all the evidence I could ever nee-d Alicia. You have a lot reason to abduct her since in the first place, you tried to drown her…
“Can we not talk about that? Quit reminding me of the past. Whatever happened between I rose and you it’s all in my past now and I don’t give a sh•t anymore” she cut in. Covering her face with her palms in an exhausted manner.
“…or Maybe you’re doing this to get back at me for taking away your source of livelihood. … Going as far to inject Ana’s mom with a strange substance. A revenge or what?”
“Jesus David! Where is this coming from?” Alicia exclaimed in bewilderment.
“Now it’s no longer Ana, it’s her mom. What business do I have with Rosiana’s mom?” She sighed out frustratedly.
“I should be asking you that. You have a hand in all of this. That morning I was to go admit her in the hospital, you suggested the hospital I’d Take her to. Little did I know you were hatching something un-der your sleeve…”
He paused, then stared intensely at her.
“Remember what I told you before…? That if anything happens to my kids or Ana, you will rot In jail. You thought I was joking right?
Just wait till you start dancing to the tone of my music.
I give you just 24hrs Alicia. 24hrs to contact whoever you gave this dirty job to do for you. I want my Ana back. If it’s not done by then, I will see to it that your life is made a living hell.”
He threatened. Dropping a small phone on the desk before her.
“24hrs”
With that, he walked out on her.
“Let me out of here David. Let me out of here !!” She screamed at the t©p of her voice trying to f0rç£ out the cuffs from her hand.

” I swear to Anything you believe in Nora. I don’t have a hand in this. I have nothing to do with what he’s accusing me of. For Pete’s sake I didn’t even know till today that Ana is missing”
Alicia ranted to Nora who stared pitifully at her state.
“I remember you were so obsessed with this guy to an extent you almost took Ana’s li–
“Don’t bring back the past plea-se. ” Alicia cut in.
“I put that all behind me now. No one should remind me of my foolishness.” She added.
“Sorry” Nora Breathe out.
“Just help me talk to someone. A lawyer… I nee-d to get out of this place. David gave me 24hrs to sort out what I know nothing of. D@mn him! This is total madness. I have nothing to do with this”
She lamented bitterly.
Nora stared at Alicia for a while before mustering out what was on her mind.
“If you re-really don’t have a hand in this like you claim, what about the strange night calls and texts you’ve been receiving lately?
I know about it Alicia. Few nights back, while you fell asleep on the couch, I was there when a message suddenly popped in to your phone. *It’s done. My balance*
What does it mean? We m aware of the strange Calle you’ve been taking. The way you act weird and all.
If you’re really innocent from all this, you’ll give me a convincing answer to my questions. Cause I have doubts that you have nothing to do with this. ”
Alicia who looked Surprised at Nora’s question couldn’t find her words anymore.
She never knew Nora has been aware of the night calls.
What will she tell her now??

The door slowly opened as a figure emerged before her with a small Tray on his hand.
“You…” Rosiana g@sped. Herl-ips a bit shaky.
“Good morning beautiful. I brou-ght breakfast” he carried the tray and gently placed it on the be-d.
“Where am I? How did I get here? What am I even doing here with you??” she asked almost freaking out as she stepped away from him.
“You Don’t remember anything, sweetheart?”
“Don’t fu-cking call me that!!!” She roared
“I can’t remember a thing. Just take me back home” she sobbe-d amidst h r words.
He stared blankly at her as she rambled out.
“You’re taking me back to the mansion this minute. This is kidnap for Christ’s sake. What is wrong with you? Why will you bring me here?? What will you gain from this??”
” I’m not taking you back Ana. You are here to stay. Stay with me”
He took small silent steps towards her as Ana took her own steps backwards.
“I won’t spend one more minute with you. Stay away from me. I’m getting out of here”
She yelled to his face and ran out of the room.
He didn’t bother to run after her. He just nodded and didn’t say a word. Instead, he sat back on the be-d.
She’ll come back. She will.
Rosiana ran out of the room… Traced her way out to the entrance door and her mouth dropped in shock.
Her face drawn into a frown
What is this place?
She stepped out gawking at the environ.
This is a lone house located in the middle of nowhere. Just thick bushes surrounded by it. No neighbor… Nothing..
“HELP!!!!” She shouted!
The re-echo of her voice chased out a number of birds in the Bush. …
“HELP! HEL
“It’s no use Rosiana. No one will hear you. We are far away from the neighborhood.”
His voice startled Ana who suddenly broke down in tears.
“Just take me home plea-se”
“You Don’t have to do this . Stay. Stay here with me and I’ll make you happy…
“D@mn you! I hate you!!!!” She sh0t back at him with a dead glare, brushing past him towards the door entrance.
“I’m gonna find my way out of this hell. One way or another.”
She added.
“Your mom…” He called.
Ana paused. “What?”
“You love your mom don’t you?”
His question made her walk back with a tearful eyes.
“Yes I do. She’s the only one I’ve got”
“If you love her, I’d advice you to stay. The last Time I checked, she’s dying isn’t it”
Anna’s mouth formed to a perfect ‘O’ … More tears falling freely from her eyes.
“It’s you. What did you do? My mom is dying. What did you do? What have you done??”
“Stay.” With that, he walked inside.
“Why are you doing this? Just let me out of here. plea-se. ” She cried.
