“You really didn’t date the victims Tonney? ” I asked walking into my office meeting her seated and waiting for me.
“Me and him were only clas-smates and after graduation I never got to hear from him” she said as I sat down.
“That’s good ” I and she smiled.
“Mandy as your manager my best advice for you is to leave Ronnie or Divorce him” I said hopping for a positive response.
“Jenna, I know you care about me but I can’t just leave Ronnie now that he nee-ds me the most” she said and I nodded.
“But what happened doesn’t have anything to do with you, you don’t have to bear responsibility for it” I said hopping she change her mind.
“Ronnie isn’t someone who would do such a thing and now that our relationship isn’t base on a contract, I have to be there for him” she said and I smi-rked.
“What if he did it and his covering it all up. Just because you’ve fall in love with him, you won’t realize you’re putting your career at risk” I said and she nodded.
“The case is still un-der investigation and I strongly believe he wasn’t the one. He might just be framed. Ronnie wasn’t even there two years ago ” she said and I nodded.
“Fine, since I’ve given you my advice and you don’t want to listen, if anything goes wrong with your career then do know I shouldn’t be blame for it” I said and she nodded.
“Since I’ve decided to stand by this decision, I’ll take care of everything. I nee-d you to stand with me on it or better still support me” she said and I nodded.
“You can go back now and prepare for the Conference tomorrow ” I said and she nodded.
“I’ll take my leave ” she said and walked away.
“Since you’ve refused to listen to my advice Mandy, I have no onther option than to use plan B” I whispered un-der my breath.

“Where’s are money? ” one of them asked as I opened my eyes and trying to stand on my feet.
“Sir, I really don’t have money with me now, please give me just few more days” I said like he was about killing me.
“I’m telling you this, if I come here in a few days and don’t get my money, you’ll be in big trouble ” he said and I bow to him.
“Thank you sir, I’ll sure get your money by then” I said and they both walked out looking very angry.
“If I can’t get the money in a few days time this gangster are going to kill me, I better think of where to get the money ” I said thinking about the whole thing.
“Yes, I’ll go find boss, maybe she can help me with some money, after all I did work for her” with this said, I set out for her office.
“Let me throu-gh, I want to see your boss” I requested from the gaud who blocked me from going in.
“Get out of here” he said pushing me away.
“Don’t you remember me, I came here months ago” I said but he insisted on not letting me in.
“Look at how unkept and dirty you look. you want to see my boss, you must be dreaming, get out of here ” he said and pushed me to the ground.

“Any updates? ” I asked Henry who walked into my office and sat down.
“Boss the company really had something to do with the accident ” he said looking sad.
“What do you mean?” I asked looking at him confused and frightened.
“Two years ago when our company trunks were transporting goods, One of them ran into an accident” he said and I nodded.
“So how come this was never brou-ght up nor discussed? ” I asked.
“At that time the company was unstable and Mr James had the matter covered up” he said and I hit my hand on the table.
“That’s completely bullshit, how cloud they play with someone’s live” I said yelling.
“What about the driver? ” I asked standing up from my seat.
“I learned the driver intendedly got rich and travelled out of the country, he must have been paid to hide the incident ”
he said also standing.
“How are we going to solve this case without him?… He is the only one who can prove that I’m innocent ” I said looking out of the glas-s window.
“His brother is still here in the country. I investigated him and found out where he lives and one more thing, his a gambler, so it will be easy for him to talk” he said and I turned around and looked at him.
I suddenly remembered the incident of the bug that was put in my phone shell.
“Do you remember the bug incident? ” I asked and he nodded.
“Yes boss, what about it? ” he asked.
“Investigate it again, I believe whoever is behind this is also the same person who planned that bug in those phone shell” I said and he nodded.
“Investigate mostly the people close to Momo” I said and he nodded and walked out.
My phone suddenly rang and I picked it up from my desk.
“Hello Michelle ” I greeted
“Ronnie, I heard about what happened, do you nee-d help? ” he asked.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got people investigating the matter” I said.
‘If you nee-d help just don’t forget to call me, I’ve still got some people in the entertainment field ” he said and I nodded.
“Okay. How are you managing the company? ” I asked.
“Everything is fine, I’m getting used to the company ” he said and I smiled.
“That good then” I said and dropped the call to continue with my work.

“Honey come and have dinner, you’ve been on your laptop for so long” I said serving Naomi.
“Just wait a little, I have to reply all this bad comments” she said and I walked towards her.
“Do you think, that’s going to change anything? ” I asked and she stopped typing.
“You saw what happened to Mandy today, if not for Ronnie’s sudden appearance who knows what those fans cloud have thrown at her ” she said looking at me very sad and highing her voice.
“You nee-d not to worry Naomi, my boss will surely protect her” I said holding her hands.
” Why are you so sure of Ronnie? ” she asked leaning her head on my shoulder.
“I’ve been following him for so many years and there is nothing he does that I don’t know, so be rest as-sured” I said and she smiled.
“How far have you people gone with the investigation? ” she asked removing her head from my shoulder.
“I said be rest as-sured, we are going to find out everything sooner or later” I said pulling her back into my arms.
“But I’m worried about Mandy, she didn’t do anything and she’s taking the blame” she said and I nodded.
“Today my boss asked her to move into his house and she agreed, so don’t worry, we won’t stop investigating still we get to the bu-tton of this matter and my boss can now east protect her” I said and she nodded.
“Cloud you eat something now? ” I asked and she nodded.
“What you said won’t stop me from replying to the comments online ” she said looking at me.
“Do you still nee-d to do that? ” I asked and she nodded.
“Of course. If there’s no one saying some good words about her then everyone who reads the comments we think it true ” she said and I smi-rked.
“Just look at it from point. If the comments are all full of negative things about her then everyone who join them to spread negative things about her” she said and I nodded.
“Okay. I’ll help you with it later but as for now you should eat something, don’t go to bed with an empty stomach ” I said and she nodded.
“Fine, lets eat ” she said and I carried her to the dining table.

After the incident of things being thrown at me during the conference today, Ronnie suggested I come stay with him.
“Miss Mandy, this is your room feel free to call me if you nee-d anything. I’ll go prepare dinner ” the house maid said and I nodded.
“Thank you miss Serena” I said and she bowed and walked out.
“It time to unpack” I said opening my luggage bag and removing the dresses inside.
I walked to the cabinet and looked for space where I cloud hang my dresses. Two boxes were beneath the cabinet and I had to remove them in other to put my shoes.
I opened the first box and Check what was inside then opened the second only to find a mask and some other docu-ments.
I picked up the mask and it reminded me of an incident that happened two years ago due to how familiar it looked.
“The masked party two years ago,it was him” I said looking at the docu-ments and all of them contained materials and important information about me over the pas-s years.
“Momo, I’m back ” Ronnie said rushing in as I held the docu-ments and the masked in my hand looking so confused.
“Momo I can explain ” he said and I looked at him with so much ties.
“Ronnie what is all this?…. For how long have you know me?…..” I yelled at him.
“Momo please calm down, I’ll explain everything to you” he said trying to touch me.
“Don’t touch me, Give me an answer ” I said and he nodded.
“It been two years, four months since I’ve known you” he said with a very low tune and hearing this was a great shock to me.
“I’d ask you time again and again about when you knew me but what was you answer. You cloud at least tell me this Ronnie ” I yelled dropping the docu-ments on his bed.
“Momo I just wanted to wait for the right to tell you and I’d never got a chance to tell you” he said and I chuckled.
“The right time?… what about the time we met at the party, didn’t I asked you” I asked.
“Momo due the situation we were in, I cloud tell you. please just let me explain everything to you” he said and I sat down.
“Fine I’m listening ” I said and he started talking.

That day you melt me on the red carpet show, I didn’t want to go but once I saw your name and Michelle’s name on the list, I went there. Even when you were in trouble I saved you secretly and even embr@ced myself in front of everyone.
“I did all this because I love you” he said and tries dropped down my eyes.
“So because you love me, you had to do that to Tonney” I said yelling at him.
“Momo I didn’t do anything to Tonney.Do you think I’m that type of a person? he asked already snubbed and I remained silent.
“Momo answer me? ” he said and tries dropped from his eyes.
“You’ve broken the trust I’d for you Ronnie. I nee-d time to calm myself down first” I said and ran out of his house.
“Momo… Momo…. Momo… ” he called but I didn’t turn back as I kept running out of his house.
