“Hello Mandy” I said answering the phone…
“Jenna cloud you handle my work for this just few days? ” she requested.
“Sure, be rest as-sured. Just stay at home and rest okay ” I said and she agreed.
“How are things between you and Ronnie? ” I asked.
“I just want to calm myself down for now” she said and I nodded smiling.
“Mandy it will be good if you don’t log into your account, there are a lot of bad comments about you online, I won’t want you to read them” I said and she nodded.
“I won’t log in, I want to get over myself” she said and I smiled.
“That’s good ” I said and she dropped the call.
“Well it time I do my job” I said logging into her account and writing a post.
? MR RONNIE ?
I stood in my study room recalling what had just transpired between me and Mandy…regretting for not telling her a long time ago.
My phone suddenly rang and I immediately picked it up, thinking that it was Mandy but it was Henry’s voice I heard over the phone.
“Boss, what happened between you and miss Mandy? ” he asked.
“We just had a little misun-derstanding” I said dropping the book I was reading.
“If it just a little misun-derstanding then why did she break up with you? ” he asked.
“What? ” I asked confused at his statement.
“She just posted your break up online. Do you want our team to give a response ” he said and I rushed to my computer and immediately logged into my account.
I searched for her account and saw it for myself.
“So she really went this far” I said seating on the chair like a lifeless man waiting for death.
“Boss are you still there” Henry asked and I regained myself.
“No one should response, tell the team to ignore it” I said and he nodded.
“Okay boss. I’ll hang up now” he said and dropped the call.
“You’ve broken the trust I had for you Ronnie. I nee-d time to calm myself down “those her words repeated in my hears like she was still saying them.
“what if she never trust me again” I said wandering what cloud possible happened and it seems to me it already did.

“Grandma, how are you feeling now? ” I asked after the nurse checked on her.
“I’m fine son” she said and I held her hand..
“When the maid called me, I’d left everything I was doing in the office just to rush here, it’s a good thing you’re alright ” I said and she smiled.
” You don’t really have to worry son, I’m really okay ” she said and I nodded.
“Then I’m glad ” I said and she smiled.
“I’ll go handle your discharge papers, wait for me” I said and she nodded.
I walked back to the doctor and did everything I nee-ded to do, including buying her medicines. it’s a good thing all she had was a fever, if it was some sult of disease then I don’t know what I’ll do.
“Grandma let’s go home” I said and accompanied her to my car then drove her phone.
When we got home she had sat on the couch, while I remained standing lossed in my thoughts.
“Son, why did Mandy not come with you? ” she asked.
“Sh… she’s… bu..sy.. with work, so cloud not come” I said marking up fake lies.
“Son tell me, did you two have a fight? ” she asked.
“Of course not ” I said walking to where she sat and wearing a smiling face.
“It’s normal for couples to fight because it only makes your relationship more stronger and the trust for each other will even grow more stronger” she said and I nodded
“When you’re angry, you say a lot of things that may hurt the both of you but it okay to say it because only then can you two know what you lack in your relationship. I hope next time you come with her ” she said and I nodded.
“I know ” I said and my phone started ringing. I picked it up and talked with the person calling.
“Grandma, I’ll have to leave now” I said and she nodded.
“You can go” she said and I walked out of the house making sure she was fine before I leave.
“What’s with the call? ” I asked Henry who had called me and said he had something important to discuss with me.
“Boss the drivers brother promised to give me a drive that contents all evidence of what happened to Tonney” he said and I smiled.
“Then did you get the drive from him? ” I asked and he shoke his head negatively.
“He wants me to give him some money ” he said and I nodded.
“Call him and fix a meeting tomorrow ” I said and he nodded.
“Okay boss ” he said and walked out of my office.
My phone started ringing few minutes after he had gone out.
“Hello Michelle ” I said placing the phone on my ear.
“What the heck is going on between you and Mandy? ” he asked.
“Nothing serious, just a misun-derstanding ” I responded standing up from my seat.
“Just a misun-derstanding and she called for a breakup” he said and I nodded.
“You don’t have to worry, I’ll fix everything ” I said walking around the office.
“It good you keep to your promise” he said and I smi-rked.
“Relax, I won’t let a little misun-derstanding ruin ours” I said smiling.
“Okay. How about we meet up tomorrow, I have something to discuss with you” he requested.
“Okay, you set the meeting place and text me” I said smiling.
“Okay” he said and dropped the call.
I stood silent for a while, looking around my office.
“How is Momo doing?… I hope she can still trust me” I said thinking about how she ran away last night.

“Can I still trust him? ” I asked myself sitting on my bed and looking around.
Since I left his house, I’ve been isolated at home. I even turned off my phone just so he shouldn’t contact me.
“Mandy are you okay?” Naomi asked walking into my bedroom.
“What happened between you and Ronnie?” she asked sitting down and I cleaned my eyes.
“I’m fine, I just want to take a few days and calm myself” i said looking at her.
“Tell me what really happened?….Why did you suddenly break up with Ronnie?” she asked and I looked at her confused.
“I didn’t break up with him. I just told him, I nee-d time to calm myself” I said and she held my hands.
“Mandy, if you have any problem with Ronnie, try to arrange it instead of just announcing your break up to the public” she said and I shoke my head.
“I’ve told you,i didn’t break up with him” I said almost yelling at her.
“You didn’t break up with him then why did you post a Break up statement online? ” she asked.
“My phone is off…. let me see what you’re talking about? ” I said and she brou-ght out her phone and showed me.
“I didn’t post this online ” I said looking at her phone.
“If you didn’t post it then who did?… don’t tell me your account was hacked” she said and placed her hand on her mouth.
“My account wasn’t hacked, I think I know who did it” I said and she looked into my eyes.
“Who did? ” she asked and I stood up.
“Let me get me phone ” I said and searched for it then later found it.
we both went into the living room and settled down. she was still looking curious to know about who posted the break up between me and Ronnie.
I placed the phone on my ear making a call.
“Mandy who are you calling? ” she asked looking at the phone on my ear.
“Hey Mandy” she said immediately after answering the phone.
“Hello Jenna ” I said
“Why did you post a statement online [ my account ] saying that I break up with Ronnie? ” I asked.
“Mandy listen to me, The decision to post that wasn’t decided just by me, I sat and discussed with the whole team before we came to that conclusion” she said.
“At least cloudn’t you inform me before doing such a thing. Does my privacy not matter to you at all” I yelled.
“Mandy, we just don’t want your career to be ruined” she said and I smi-rked.
“My career to be ruined?” I asked.
“I’ve told you, my relationship doesn’t have anything to do with my work and you can’t make decisions about my private life” I said yelling at her.
“Okay… Okay… I’m sorry, I’ll find a way to bring the post down” she said apologizing.
“How are you going to do it when so many people have already seen it” I asked.
“I’ll just say your account was hacked ” she said and I nodded.
“Okay, do it and please don’t make decisions for me again, tell me in advance before doing something like this and don’t meddle in my relationship ” I said and she nodded.
“I’m really sorry, it won’t happen again ” she said apologizing to me one more time.
“I’ll be waiting to see you take down the post. Bye” I said and hung off the call.
“So it was your manager Jenna who post that? ” Naomi asked and I nodded.
“But I’m sure Ronnie must have already seen it by now. who knows, he must be really hurt right now” she said wearing a sad face.
“I’ll call him and tell him that I didn’t post it” I said picking up my phone and dialing his number.
“But do you think, he’s going to un-derstand you? ” Naomi asked as his line when throu-gh.
I dropped the phone on the table and bow my head.
“What’s wrong? ” she asked….
“He is not picking up” I said and breath out heavily.
“Let go find him. it good to explain to him in person than over the phone” she said and I carried my head up.
“Do you think he really took the break up thing serious? ” I asked wearing a sad face.
“What makes you think so? ” she asked standing up.
“Just take a look, his phone rings but he isn’t answering my calls” I said and looked at my phone on the table.
“It possible…. that he is in a meeting and can’t answer the phone. let go find him. Only if we go to see him can we know what he is thinking ” she said and I nodded.
“Okay… go to see him” I said and still remained sitted.
“Get up and change your cloth lets go” she said pulling me off my seat.
I walked into the Room and got changed into ab outfit.
? MR RONNIE ?
“Mr Ronnie, that’s the guy, I followed the other day and found out he went to see Mr James. he is also the driversy brother who promised to give us the evidence if we pay him some money ” Henry said showing me a guy out of the car.
“Okay, go talk with him and get the USB drive” I said and he nodded and walk out of the car.
My phone suddenly started ringing and I checked to see it was Momo who was calling.
I placed my phone on mute and return it back into my pocket.
“Boss I’ve got it” Henry said few minutes after he returned with the USB drive.
“Drive me to see Michelle and return back to the company” I ordered and he nodded.
? NAOMI ?
“Madam please you can’t go in there, my boss is not around ” Ronnie’s secretary said not leaving meand Mandy enter inside his office.
“Ronnie I know you’re in there, move away ” she said and we both for-ce our way into his office but nobody was there.
“Where is he hiding? ” she asked his secretary but she quickly ran back to her desk.
“What can I do for you two? ” Henry said popping out from another direction.
“Tell us, where is Ronnie? ” she asked and Henry smi-rked.
“I don’t know his whereabout” he said getting more closer.
“What do you mean you don’t know where your boss is?…. Are you lieing to us” I said holding his ear.
“Ashw… I’ll talk, please leave my ear” he said as I scrolled him.
“Start talking ” I said and he nodded.
“He went to see Michelle” he said and I placed my hand on his shoulder.
“Good boy, Mandy let’s go” I said turning to her.
“What are you two planing? ” Henry asked but we just walked out silently.
? MANDY ROSE ?
“There he is. Here is your chance, go and explain to him” Naomi said as we saw him walking towards Michelle’s office.
“Ronnie, Ronnie ” I called running towards him and he stopped.
He turned and stare at me without a word…
“I just want to say… the… the… the post online I wasn’t the one who did it, take a look…. it has been removed ” I said showing him the screen of my phone.
“Okay” he said after looking at it.
“Don’t be so serious, I really didn’t post it” I said and he nodded.
“Are you done ” he said and I looked at him confused.
“please don’t take it so real. you look very serious” I said staring at him.
“If you are done, I’ll take my leave. I have other things to do. when you’re done calming down yourself let me know” he said and walk away.
“Ronnie, Ronnie…. Ronnie” I called but he didn’t turn to look back at me nor did he stop.
