“Are you feeling tired? ” I asked as she lean her back on the couch immediately she Walked in.
“I’m really tired” she said and I mas-saged her shoulders.
“Feeling any better now? ” I asked and she nodded.
“Much more better ” she said and I smiled.
“About what happened today with Brenda I think we nee-d to set some rules incase it happens again ” she said and I turn to sit down.
“That definitely won’t happen again ” I said sitting down and holding her hands.
“Brenda thought she cloud put a bond in between us but I’m more smarter than her” she said and I nodded.
“OKay… okay, go take a shower ” I said and she nodded.
“There’s something really important I want to tell you” she said shaking my hands and putting on a cute face.
“Go on, you know I won’t refuse you” I said and she smiled.
“I’m hungry ” she said and I chuckled.
“Is that what you made me think is so important? ” I asked.
“Isn’t it important, I haven’t had dinner just lunch” she said and I nodded.
“Okay, I’ll go make something for you” I said and rushed to the kitchen.
“By the way there’s somewhere I nee-d to go tomorrow ” she said as I picked out the frying pan.
“Where are you going? ” I asked placing the frying pan on the gas cooker.
“My secondary school clas-smates called for a gathering and I nee-d to be there” she said and I nodded.
“Okay, I’ll come with you” I said cutting tomatoes.
“No families are allowed ” she said and I stopped to look at her in the living room.
“Are the rules so strict, I’m sure you must have been popular in school for them to call you” I said and she nodded looking at me.
“I was really popular and knew a lot of people back then. I was the clas-s monitor” she said and I smi-rked.
“So you may have known a lot a male friends? ” I asked and she nodded without hesitation.
“I knew a lot of handsome boys. what??..are you jealous? ” she asked and I chuckled.
“Me!!!,Jealous, of course not, when I already have you” I said and she chuckled.
“How about I dropped you there before going to work and also pick you from there” I suggested.
“That won’t do, Its still going to mean you went there” she said and I nodded.
“Okay, I’ll only come pick you up from there” I said and she frown.
“Let just stop talking, I’m really hungry ” she said and I smi-rked.
“If you think it so easy then you should come join me” I said and continued with the cooking.
“You should call Kitty, she will be of great help to you” she said and I chuckled.
“Don’t forget to give me a call when the gathering ends “I said and she nodded.
“Okay. I’ll let you know” she said and I smiled.
? MANDY ROSE ?
“Hello everyone ” I said greeting all my formal secondary clas-s mates.
“Mandy you’re here, please sit down ” a clas-smate of mine offered.
“It’s been so long we saw each other, I heard you’re now an actress ” she said and I smi-rked.
“Yes” I said and she raise a glas-s fill with wine for me.
“Cheers to our success” she said and I picked up a glas-s also filled with wine and toast with hers’.
“It’s been so many years and most of our clas-smates traveled abroad, some cloudn’t make it today because of work but I’m glad to those of ours who made time to come for this gathering ” another said loudly and He raised a glas-s in the air.
“A toast to us all” he said and we all raise our glas-s and drank from the wine in it.
“Esther, did you hear the news about what happened to Tonney? ” another said asking a question to the one who sat beside me.
“What happened to him?…. I haven’t seen him since our high school days” I said interrupting their conversation.
“Were you not his girlfriend at that time, how come you don’t know about it? ” she asked and I smi-rked.
“Me and Tonney never got to date, I was so serious about my acting career back then and didn’t want to have a boyfriend” I said recalling the day he had sent me a message proposing to date me but I turned him down.
“Tonney got into an accident two years ago and have been in a coma since then, I even pas-sed by the hospital and met with his mother. I feel really bad for him” she said and I remembered how he used to be so kind to ours especially me.
It seems I was too busy with my career back then and never got to find out why he stopped calling or sending me mas-sages.
“We are going to pay him a visit are you going to join us” she said and I nodded.
“I’ll go to see him myself ” I said with a little bit of sadness.
After the gathering was over, I’d to walk down the street to get a cab. The news about Tonny was having a serious effect on me.
“Hey what are thinking about…Get in” a man’s voice enchant from a car that had stopped beside me.
“Ronnie??, didn’t I asked you not to come ” I said looking at him throu-ghthe open car window.
“Didn’t I tell you I was going to pick you up” he said and I entered the car.
“Why are you looking so sad? ” he asked after a long drive.
“It’s nothing, I was just too excited to see my friends ” I said and he nodded.
I’m sorry but I’m not ready to tell you about Tonny and beside we were never together and it’s not important if he knows about it.
“Come with me” Ronnie said and then I noticed he had stopped the car and was standing outside the car window by my side.
“Where did you bring me?… I thought we were going home ” I asked stepping out of the car and looking around.
“I prepared a surprise for you” he said and held my hand then walked with me into the building.
“What’s the surprise? ” I asked curious to know about what he was planing but he refused to tell me about it.
“Just follow me inside ” he said and I quitly followed him.
“Is it a dinner date? ” I asked seeing everywhere so dark.
He clapped his hands and the light came on showing Kitty on a four side stand which had different light colours.
“What’s this? ” I asked smiling.
“This is the surprise I prepared for you” he said and Kitty walked towards ours as she was dressed in cloth.
“This is amazing” I said walking towards the four side stand.
“Mandy Will you marry me? ” he said and I turned and saw him kneeling on one knee. Holding a ring and looking up at me.
“I didn’t formally do this when we got engaged and now I want to do it. Please marry me” he said and I smiled filing very excited.
“Yes I do” I said and he placed the ring in between my finger and immediately embr@ced me
“I want us to hold a grand wedding, I want to let the world know that you’re my wife. I want to make wedding vows with you and even grow old with you” he said embr@cing me.
Yes, we are going to have a wedding ” I said and he disenfranchised from the hu-g, looking into my eyes and touching my face with his one hand.
“Will you take a step this time ” he said and I ki-ssed me, surrounding my hands around his back.

“Jenna what do you think about this dress? ” Momo asked as she dressed herself for a red carpet show.
She had informed Jenna of our marriage and also let her know we will be holding a grant wedding.
“I think it nice” she responded picking up the newspaper on the desk.
I guess after the warning I gave her she must be frightened to express herself around me.
Brenda cloudn’t have asked me about the agreement with Momo without someone telling her to do so and the only person who knows about this is Jenna. I wander why she was trying to do that.
“I don’t it” I said looking at how exp-osed the dress made her look.
“Fine, I’ll change it ” she said and went in to change into something else.
“Still not good” I said and she still went to change her cloth.
“What about this one? ” she asked showing me how stunning she looks.
I woke up my seat and walked to where she was standing.
“Just take a look at the cloth” I said and ki-ssed her open shoulder.
“Now what do you think? ” I asked…
“What’s wrong with the cloth… it’s just the style and the way the cloth was made” she said and I held her by the wai-st.
“But I don’t like it” I said watching her direct in the eyes.
“Fine, I’ll change it” she said and I led go of her.
“Is this okay?… I don’t even like this one” she whispered and I smi-rked.
“Looks good, This will be okay for the red carpet show” I said holding her hands.
“But this is too plain” she said complaining.
“That’s more I like it” I said and ki-ssed her by the forehead.
“Stop, Jenna is here” she whispered…
“And so what?… I want the whole world to know we are married ” I said and she smi-rked.
“Let’s go, I’ll take you to the Red carpet show ” I said and we all walked out including Jenna.
“This place is quite covered with reporters all around ” I said as we all step down from the car.
“The red carpet show is an entertainment circle where all media platform come to interview different celebrities” she said as we both walked in.
“Why did Mr Ronnie of Brooklyn company come here today, is he planing something? ” a random reporter asked as we walked into the Hall.
“I’m just here to accompany Mandy” I said asking her as I put on a smiling face.
“When are you both going to arrange you marriage? ” another asked.
“About our marriage… er… ” I said thinking about what to complete my words with.
“We will just go with the flow. As for now we are enjoying the moment ” Momo said and I nodded.
“Mr Ronnie what do you have to say about your company covering murder. Don’t you remember what Brooklyn Nets did? ” another asked emerging from the crowd.
“I heard the victim is said to be Tonney, Mandy’s old friend. Mandy do you know about this? ” she asked.
“Reporters don’t you know you’re not supposed to be spreading rumors. Brooklyn company can take legal actions ” I said and Momo and I both walked into the Hall.
“Momo don’t listen to what they are saying ” I said and she nodded.
“What is going on?… Why did they asked about your company covering up murder? ” she asked.
“I think someone is trying to smash Brooklyn throu-ghthis incident. I’ll have Henry investigate the matter immediately ” I said and just then Henry walked in on us.
“Boss” he called standing before me and Momo.
“Stop the reporters from spreading this rumor on the internet, investigate the matter and also look out for our competitors” I said and he nodded.
“Boss I think it’s too late now, the information has spread all over the internet” he said handing me his phone to take a look at it.
“**Actress Mandy Rose leaves her former lover Tonney and gets engaged with rich Mr Ling Ronnie** ” that was the headline news.
“Me and Tonney were just high school clas-smates and nothing more. I even heard about his accident from the school grandering few days ago” she said and I nodded.
“Momo it’s okay, We’ll investigate the matter. I only hope you won’t believe what they all saying ” I said comforting her.
“I think we should go and visit Tonney in the hospital. We cloud asked his mother about what happened” she said giving a suggestion and I nodded.
“Okay tomorrow we will go to the hospital ” I said and hu-gged her.
? MANDY ROSE ?
“So this is Tonney? ” Ronnie asked and I nodded.
” So he has been like this for over two years ” I said looking at how he lied livelessly on the hospital bed.
“Who are you? ” a woman asked immediately she walked into the room.
“I’m Tonney’s former clas-smate in high school Mandy” I said introducing myself and handing her a banquet of flower I brou-ght.
“So you’re that bitc-h who left my son for money ” she said hitting me already.
“Ma’am please calm down, we really don’t know what happened back then” Ronnie said intervening.
“And who are you? ” she asked pointing at Ronnie.
“I’m Ling Ronnie. We just came to find out what really happened?. we mean no harm” he said holding me ti-ght.
“So it’s even you the murderer, how dare you come here and show your face before my son. Leave” she said pushing us away.
The nurses and patients were already watching the sins she was doing.
“We just want to know what happened to Tonney two years. Ronnie is wrongly accused” I said and she kept pushing us.
“And you think I’ll believe you, get out. After ruining my son’s feature, you still have the gust to come here” she said driving ours away.
“Momo let’s go” Ronnie said and we both walked out of there with the nurses and patient looking at ours.
I feel really bad seeing Tonney in such a situation but I can’t believe it was Ronnie who did it, he is not that kind of a person who would hurt others.
“Mr Ronnie what do you have to say about the murder case against you? ” a bunch of reporters said blocking our way out of the hospital.
“Mr Ronnie don’t leave. just now you when to see Tonney what really happened? ” They all asked still not letting us throu-gh.
With the help of Henry we managed to get our of the hospital and ran from the reporters.

“Are you happy now?” Kendall asked as I watched the video of Ronnie and Mandy being questioned and blocked by reporters in the hospital.
“I’m very happy ” I responded smiling and still looking at the video.
“I should warn you that Ronnie is not an easy man to deal with, you must be careful ” he said and I smi-rked.
“How many times are you going to say that, isn’t he in trouble now? ” I asked and he smi-rked.
“you must act fast in whatever you want to do ” he said and I nodded.
“Don’t worry, I have a plan ” I said and continued watching the video while Kendall drinks a bottle of yogurt.
