Ashley woke up feeling headache. She sat up and saw Douglas sleeping beside her. Memories of last night start flooding in.
Ashley face palm herself. She could not believe she could do something so embarras-sing. The person in question is her friend younger brother. How could she be so shameless.
It is like ki-ssing her own brother.
By the way, why did he sleep over?
“Good morning, Sister”
‘Oh God! He is awake? How will I face him now? So embarras-sing. Well, it is just a ki-ss__ok two ki-sses. I will just pretend it didn’t happen. I did not even remember. I must bury everything that happened.’
“What are you doing in my room? “, She asked him.
” Do you ran away from again?”, she asked him.
Actually, Douglas had slept over at her place the day he ran away from home.
“No, yesterday I…”
“Forget it. Just go back home. You’re a good boy so why are you still running away from home? If you do that again, don’t come to my place”, She told him.
Douglas scoffed.
‘Is she pretending or she did not really remember what happened? Is she trying to play dumb? Should I just act along with her so that it will not be awkward? But I don’t want to. I will not forget. I want to cherish the memory. I will just leave her alone to sort her feelings.’
” I will leave now sister. Do not go out to drink alone. Call me or you call sis”
Ashley scoffed.
“Why will I call you. It is not as if I did not have friends and a boyfriend.”
“It seems you’re forgetting things, your boyfriend dumped you yesterday”, Douglas said and walk out.
Rays Entertainment hall is filled with people. Several Reporters are around. They want to know if this bad is really worth spending resources on.
The Hulks are the first to perform. They are the three guys band and they are dancers.
The belles performed next led by vickey and It was beautiful.
When it is finally The Rays turn to sing, Douglas and the fan club that consists of his friends start cheering for her. The fans that the Rays gained during their commercials and adverts are not that much but they are reliable.
Toby’s mother even call in a cheer band.
Immediately the stage light dimmed and the stage brightened.

Her phone beeped, it is a message from Murray.

Dorris smiled. She is really happy. She went to the Dorm to change her dress when she saw someone singing a sad and depressed song. She could her sniffing at intervals and she could tell that the person is crying.
She saw Vickey. It was Vickey!
Why would Vickey, an outgoing girl be so depressed. Dorris knew she probably nee-ds her space so she left her.
Dorris got to Gaddafi and saw that Douglas and Ashley are there too. She rushed to them.
Ashley stood up and hu-gged her.
“Congrats”, She said.
” You were great earlier Sis. I even shed tears”, Douglas said.
“Did you?”, Dorris asked and laugh.
“You won’t hu-g me”, Ray teased.
” Stop it”, Dorris said Shyly.
“Sis, When will you introduce your boyfriend to me?”, Douglas asked.
Dorris blus-hed.
” I will introduce my self then. I’m Ray. I’m your sister boyfriend and I will be your brother_in_law in the future.”, Ray introduced.
“Don’t be so sure. We don’t know what will happen”, Douglas said.
” Nothing will happen”, Both Dorris and Ray chorused.
“By God’s Grace”, Dorris added.
Diing Dinng
” Excuse me”, Ray said and went out to receive the call.
Dorris turned to Ashley.
“Hope you’re not still thinking about that bastard. He’s not worthy, you know right.”,
“Why will I still be hung up to him. It is not as if I’m not pretty. I’m going to go on many blind dates as possible!”, Ashley said.
” Blind dates?”, Douglas asked.
“Yes. I’m meeting with a guy tomorrow. I heard he is a lawyer.”, Ashley said.
” You have to look your best. You nee-d to make it work”
“Don’t!”, The ladies turned to look at him with different expressions.

Happy new month.
I’m posting this bonus episode because it’s the first day of the best month of the year
“Don’t!”
The ladies turn to look at him with different expressions. Dorris, with a questioning gaze. Ashley with fright…
“I’m sorry. You guys go on with your talks”, He said.
Ashley sigh in relief.
” So where is your blind_date tomorrow? “, Dorris asked.
That’s how Douglas ended up following Ashley to her blind date dressed in disguise.
Ashley entered the Cafe and the man was waiting for her.
” Hi, you’re Gideon right?”, She asked the man. She saw his picture but still nee-ds to confirm.
“Yes. I’m sure you’re Ashley.”, He said standing.
” Yes “, She replied.
” Wow! You look prettier in person”, He said.
“Thanks”, She said and took her seat.
” Coffee?”, he asked taking his seat.
“Americano”, She replied.
Douglas sat behind them. He ordered Coffee but he is busy staring at the couple.
Douglas scoffed.
‘He is not even as good looking as I am. He lacks Manners too, he can’t even pull the chair for Sister. See his smile, so creepy. He is not worth sister. And why are you still calling her sister?’, He asked reprimanding himself.
” As from now on, I will call her Ashley in my mind. Why would I call her sister? I have to at least be able to call her sister when no one is looking.”
He looked at them and they are chatting and drinking coffee casually. He is sure that man has nothing to offer.
‘I don’t like him one bit. He is dangerous but why is sister so comfortable with him? ‘
‘You just called her sister again”, he hissed inwardly. “It’s Ashley. A.s.h.e.l.y.
I have to call her something different from what others is calling her. I will have to look for a suitable name later.’,
Douglas almost missed them. They are at the register. The man is paying.
Douglas hurried stood up. He paid and followed the couple out. They are taking a walk. He followed silently behind them. He noticed that the guy is trying to hold Ashley hand.
He walked fas-ter and run past them, breaking them apart.
He walked of.
” Freakin’ ”
Douglas removed his face cap.
“Sorry.”, He told the guy. He looked up at Ashley and feigned surprise.
” Sister!”, He called.
“Douglas. What are you…?”
” I was on my way to one of my friend’s.”, Douglas lied.
“Who is this guy?”, He asked.
” Oh! He is Gideon.”, Ashley said.
“Gideon, you don’t have to worry anymore. My brother is here”, Ashley said.
” Oh! Nice meeting you. You should look ahead when you walk”, Gideon said.
“I will”, Douglas replied.
Gideon wondered if he is wrong, but the guy is looking at him with hostility__like some one looking at a rival.
Douglas is happy. He has a very good appetite and he is enjoying his lunch with Ashley. ” So how is your blind date? Will it work out?”, he asked.
“No, I don’t really like him. He even has a kid. I’m going for another date tomorrow.”, She replied.
” I’m seeing a movie with him”, Ashley said.
“I hope that I will like him”,Ashley said hopefully.
‘You will not like him. Why are you busy going on blind date when you have a handsome guy here going crazy for you?’
” Eat fast! You Foodie.”, She suddenly yelled on him.
She caught him staring.
Douglas is in a good mood but when he remembered that she had a date tomorrow again, he frowned.
It doesn’ t matter any way. He is going to go with her. He smiled and took out a picture of Ashley that is un-der his pillow.

Ava decided to visit Mrs Dalton. She bought a lot of supplement along.
Mrs Dalton hu-gged her.
“Why did you suddenly decided to visit me?”, she asked.
” I wanted to talk to you. ”
Mrs Dalton led her to a sit.
“Bring us tea”, Mrs Dalton told the maid.
Ava gave the shopping bag to Mrs Dalton.
” This is for you auntie”
“God bless you for me.”, Mrs Dalton said.
The maid brou-ght the tea.
” So what do you want to talk about?”, Mrs Dalton asked.
“Auntie,the guys in our circle, are disturbing me. They are asking me out. A few proposed to me. A lot of fathers are meeting my dad to let their son get engaged to me. I’m afraid my dad will soon agree to one of them if I did not get engaged to Ray. It is not as if the other guys are not compatible with our family but because I like Ray and I want to become your daughter in law because you’re so sweet”, Ava said.
Mrs Dalton was tou-ched and Ava was glad the words had the appropriate effects she wants it to have.
The older woman held her hands.
” Do not worry. I will talk to my husband and hold the engagement as soon as possible. I will like a sensible girl like you to be my daughter in law.”
Ava smiled.
“I will trust you and wait ma”.
” Thank you my dear. Let’s go shopping together one of this days.”
“Sure”, Ava said.
Douglas had been waiting at the cinema all evening. When he is almost tired of waiting, he saw a man. He stood there like he was waiting for someone. Douglas walked to him.
” Are you waiting for some_one? He asked the man.
“Yes, a blind date”
Douglas had a feeling that he is waiting for Ashley.
“Same here”, he said.
” My phone battery just ran out and I have no means of contacting her. Can you let me use your phone for a moment. I manage to put her number in my memory before my phone ran out of battery”
“Do use it”, The man said and handed his phone to him.
Douglas collected his and checked. Ashley number is really on his phone. He deleted Ashley’s number and put the man’s phone on airplane mode.
He handed the phone to the owner after pretending to call.
” Thanks. I’ve deleted the number I just called”, He lied.
Douglas left the lobby and went outside the cinema to wait for Ashley.
He saw her coming and let her come closer. The he bumped into her.
“Watch it”, She yelled
” Sister?”, Douglas feigned surprise again.
“You?”
“Why do I keep running into you lately. When it is not as if you’re stalking me”, Douglas said.
” I don’t want to run into you, you kid.” Ashley said. She brou-ght out her phone and start dialling her date number.
Then she wants to go into the lobby.
Douglas knew he had to stop her all his ha-rd-working will be in vain if she ran into her date.
He held her hand.
She glared at him. He left her and she entered the lobby…….
