( My girl friend is finally into someone)
Dorris could not sleep. She kept on rolling on her bed.
She remembered Rays words.
Dorris, be mine
Dorris is awed. She couldn’t believe they ki-ssed and he even ask her out.Is she really worth is company? Will it be right if they date?. Dorris could not even tell what she felt towards him but she knew he is likable.
Dorris didn’t even know what to say to him.
Should she reply him in person or call him or text him. She is so confused.
When his eyes met Harriet’s, his heart fluttered for a moment. After all, He is meeting his first love again after five years.
They never dated though. He did not even have the luxury to confess to her. Her brother actually knew but it is their bro things, he couldn’t tell his sister.
“Hi, Ray”, Harriet said.
” Long time”, He said. He did not even feel awkward with her, he even felt comfortable. It seems he is finally over her.
“Buddy”, Harry greeted and they hu-gged each other.
” When did you arrived?”, Ray asked.
“This morning. Harriet wants to wish you a happy birthday.”, Harry said.
Ray turned to look at Harriet, his gaze tender.
” How is your health. I hope you’re feeling better now”
“Yes. I am”, Harriet replied.
“Sorry about your brother.”, She added.
Ray smiled.
” I’m sure my brother is in a good place”, he said.
“Let’s drink and catch up”, Harry said.
Ray woke up that morning with an hangover. His phone beeped. It is a message from *my fan.
My Fan__Good ? boyfriend!
Let’s go on our first date today. It will be our day 1.
Ray close his eyes an opened them again. He saw the message on his phone. He forgot about his hang over and became energetic__jumping on the bed.
Dorris is embarras-sed. She felt like deleting the message but it was too late since he had seen it.
Her phone beeped. He replied.
Murray__Morning baby. How is your night?
Dorris__It’s fine, yours?
Murray__I couldn’t sleep ?. I dreamt of you all ?.
Dorris__Really? You must be head over heels for me?
Murray__Yes. How do you comfort me for loosing my sleep? ?
Dorris__?you won’t even dream if you don’t sleep. You flatterer!
Ashley dropped her phone. She just finished talking to her man.
” so when are you moving to your dorm?”, She asked Dorris, Who is scrolling throu-ghher phone reading texts between Ray and herself.
Dorris did not respond. Ashley snatched the phone.
“Give it back”, Dorris said and she started chasing Ashley who refused to give up. Dorris gave up at last and Ashley read the messages.
“What. Is. This?”, Ashley asked punctuating each words. Then she suddenly screamed.
” My girlfriend is finally into someone.”
“I’m not into him, we are just dating?”, Dorris informed.
” You will not even date someone you are not into”

I’m not into Ray”, Dorris insists.
Ashley smi-rked.
Ray sigh. He finally decides Jerome.
“Jerome”.
” Yes boss”
Ray cleared his throat. “What gift can a man give to a woman on their first date?”, he asked.
” Flowers “, Jerome replied.
” Just flowers?”, Jerome asked again.
“And probably something shinny”, Jerome added.
“Like?”, Ray asked.
” Jewelry ”
Ray mouthed an ‘O’
“Hi, Dorris”, Melinda greeted when they ran into each other.
” Hello, senior “, Dorris greeted and bow politely.
” Coffee?”, Melinda asked.
And they ended up in a cafe 1 block away from the agency.
“Actually, Ray told me about you on his birthday. I’m at his place that night. Don’t get me wrong, I only went to eat dinner.
He is actually my Fiance brother.”, Melinda said.
” Your Fiance…..”
“Yes. Ray’s late brother was my fiance”
“Sorry for the loss”, Dorris said.
Melinda smiled.
” Dorris whenever you nee-d help, pls come to me. That is the only thing I can offer”
Dorris nod.
“Thanks for your kindness senior”
“Melinda would do”, Melinda said.
They’ve eaten dinner and decided to watch a movie. They went to the cinema and got the ticket for a werewolf movie. They bought popcorn and coke when the ran into that person.
” Ray”, The lady called.
Ray turned to look at her.
“Hi, Ava”, He greeted.
The lady turned to Dorris. ” I don’t think we’ve met”, She said.
“Obviously”, Dorris replied.
” I’m Ava, Ray’s betrothed”, she said.
“Ava, I….”
Dorris managed to keep her cool.
“Oh! Are you?” She smiled. “Nice meeting you Miss Ava, My name is Dorris, I’m Rays girlfriend”, Dorris said.
Ava face had different expressions and her hand is fisted.
” Nice meeting you too”, She said.
“As you can see, Ray and I are here to see a movie. We will leave now”, And Dorris drag Ray with her.
She did not say anything throu-ghout the movie and Ray did not even know what to do.
Ray pulled over in front of her place. “About Ava…”, He began.
” Our parents are match making us. There is nothing between us”, He explained looking at Dorris face.
“Ava and I, which one did you choose”, Dorris asked.
” I didn’t chose Ava. My parent are only doing match makings. I am planning to end things now since I’m going to be with you. I chose you, Dorris”
“That’s all I want to hear. Good night. And she pec-ked him on the cheeks”

“Wow!Wow! This place is spacious.”, Guy comments as they entered the dorm.
” We are the only one that has a room each everyone else including the other bands and the trainees are sharing rooms. A room for two”, Toby said.
“Let’s unpack and go back to the studio. The concert is next week.”, Dorris told them.
” Yeah. Our music will start selling “, Toby said excitedly.
Guy scoffed.
” Aren’t we doing a reality show after the concert?”, Toby asked.
“We are”, Dorris replied and enter her room.
Ray entered the private room.
” Sorry for keeping you waiting.”, he said.
“Yea. So much for being a chairman.”, Harry teased.
Ray sat down.
” Harriet”, He greeted.
“Ray, I felt wronged. You’ve not even make any time for me since I flew in.”, She said.
” I’m sorry. I was busy”
Harriet smiled. “It’s fine”, She said.
” I’m going to visit your mum. Auntie had been so nice to me. I must not be in the city without saying hi to her. Will you go with me?”, She asked.
“No. I don’t think I have time for that. You should go alone or go with Harry”, Ray said.
Harriet felt bad. Ray always doted on her. He pampered he to no end and he had never rejected her. Could it be that he does not have any more feelings for he. She thought he is still hung up with her and that he will cling to her the moment she came back to the city. Things isn’t going as she expected.
Ashley sat down there for several minutes. It is her ringing phone that jolted her back to consciousness.
” Hello”_? Ashley
“Hello, sister. Where are you?” ?Baby boy.
“I just got dumped”, ?Ashley
” Dumped? “?Baby boy
” Yes, it is so painful”_?Ashley
And she started crying.
“Sister, calm down and tell me where you are?” ?Baby boy
Douglas joined her at the bar and he started drinking with her.
“Drey told me he is fed up with the relationship. He said his reason for being with me has faded and he can no longer see. What is my offence to deserve such insults?”, Ashley asked.
” He is the loser here sis”
“Is he? Why do I feel that I lost Instead?”, Ashley asked.
” What the point of a guy that didn’t know your worth anyway!”, Douglas yelled and Ashley starts crying.
Douglas sigh.
“I’m sorry, can you stop crying now?”
“Harriet?”, Madam Dalton asked when she saw Harriet in the house.
” It is me ma”, Harriet smiled.
Mrs Dalton hu-gged her and drag her along with her.
“C’mon sit down”, Mrs Dalton said.
” How have you been?”, She asked.
“I’ve been fine ma. What about you?”, Harriet asked.
” As you can see, I’m healthy and doing good.”, Mrs Dalton said.
“I got this for you ma”, Harriet said gave her a parcel.
” Can I open it here?”
“Of course”, Harriet said.
Mrs Dalton opened it and it is a scarf.
” Wow, I like it.”, Mrs Dalton said .
“Ava got me a dress, I think this scarf is perfect for it. “, Mrs Dalton said folding the scarf.
” Oh! Have you met Ava? She is Ray’s Fiancee”, Mrs Dalton informed Harriet happily not noticing Harriet dark expression.
“Ray’s engaged?”, Harriet asked with a smile. ” The rascal did not tell me. Congratulations ma”
“Thanks”, Mrs Dalton said.
Douglas manages to get Ashley home.
She really should stay away from alcohol. Douglas tucked he in bed and wants to go out when she suddenly held him back. Because he is not prepared, he fell on her and his li-ps landed on her. He was tempted and he probed dee-perinto her mouth. He ki-ssed her until she was gasping for breath.
” Douglas”, she mumbled when he stopped ki-ssing her. And before he un-derstand what is happening? He felt something soft on his li-ps. She ki-ssed him and he took over the ki-ss.
“Are you all prepared for the concert tomorrow. You have to perform well. We are releasing your album tomorrow.”, The Rays manager told them.
” Yes, Manager”
“After the concert, you will do a week reality show to boost your popularity”, he added.
” sure”, The Rays said.
The manager walked away. Ava’s as-sistant gave her phone to her.
“You have a message”
“Thanks Zoe”
The as-sistant smiled.
The message is from an unknown.
Unknown__Meet me at that cafe near your agency.
Dorris frowned when she saw the message.
__Who are you? I can’t just go out to meet strangers.
Unknown__Trust me, you know me. I’m no stranger to you.
__this must nt be a prank!
Dorris Scoffed when she entered the Cafe and Saw Ava waiting.
She walked towards her and sat down.
“Why do you call me out?”, she asked.
” So impatient”, Ava muttered.
“I’m too busy to be wasting time with you”, Dorris said.
” What do you want from Ray. Leave him and I will give you every thing”, Ava said.
Dorris laughed.
“Have you no pride? Money, wealth? I don’t nee-d any of that from Ray.”
“Then why are you targeting him?”, Ava asked.
Dorris find this funny.
” Could it be that you’re targeting him too?”, Dorris asked.
“Ray and I are going to get married.”, Ava said.
” Go on. You can have his empty body. I will have his heart and soul”, Dorris said.
“What’s the use of a body without a soul anyway, the body will only decompose leaving a irritating skeleton that will end up dry and broken”
Ava raised her brow.
“I’m out if here”, Dorris said.
” If you go without accepting my offer, you have to face whatever problems that comes your way.”
Dorris paused and sat down.
“Even you called problems, there is a solution to every problems. I will survive, it will just take a long time.”
“Miss Ava, it seems you’re not even sure of your own charm. Do you think your charm as a woman can’t win Ray over or why do you want to resolve to using some un-derhanded means?”, Dorris asked.
She smi-rked and stood up.
” If you’re sure of your self. Bring it on”, Dorris said and walk out.
