Episode 54
Park Min Shin’s POV
I and my husband are on our way to England now but we didn’t take our private jet to prevent the public from suspecting anything.
“Sweetheart, do you think everything will go well?” my husband said turning to me
“We just have to be hopeful and optimistic. No good will come out from being peqssimistic”
“You’re right about that. Do you think Olivia would forgive us and accept us as our parents?”
“I don’t really have an answer to that but one thing I know is she’s a humble girl and has a good heart. I don’t want us to take her for granted because of that.
You know what you went throu-ghin the name of making Stephanie accept you but at the end of the day, she isn’t even our biological daughter.
I think Olivia deserves more than that. All I will say is we should hope for the best”
*Hours later*
We’ve finally arrived at England and to say I’m nervous is an un-derstatement.
We went straight to Olivia’s house since we already made our findings before coming here.
We knocked on the gate and it was opened few minutes later. The gate man took us to the main building and informed them they were having a visitor.
“Good day ma’am and sir, how may I help you?” the person I a-ssume to be Olivia’s foster parents said when she opened the door.
“Can we please come in first?” I pleaded
She stared at us for a while before finally letting us in.
When we got in, we took off the face mask we used and the clothes we wrapped on our bodies, the woman’s mouth was wide open in shock.
“I……I’m sorry, I never knew you were the one” she said lowering her gaze
“It’s okay. So I a-ssume you know why we’re here?” I said to her raising my brows after we sat down
“No ma”
“Drop the formalities. Since you don’t know why we’re here, we will let you know.
We are here to take our daughter, Olivia ” I said while she stood up immediately
“Which Olivia are you talking about?”
“The girl you claim to be your daughter. We’re her biological parents and we’ve come to take our daughter”
“No one is taking my daughter from me. Olivia is my daughter, I brou-ght her up since when she was little until now so I’m the only one that has the right to be her mother” she said shakily
It’s obvious she’s scared of losing Olivia but what can I do? I haven’t been with my daughter for 17 years, now is the time I really need her.
“We will give you tomorrow to think about it and we’ll also be here with the papers. Please when next we come back, sign the papers for peace to reign.
We aren’t here to fight you. If you need any amount, just name it but please don’t make things difficult for us. Bye” I said and was about leaving
“I’m never going to sign any of those papers. If you think I would sell my daughter for money, then you must be dreaming.
She has brou-ght me joy ever since she came into my life, she’s my daughter and will always remain my daughter no matter what happens” and with that she left
With the way things are going, I have a feeling that something might go wrong. I just hope I’m wrong.
Olivia’s POV
I’ve been having a feeling that something is wrong somewhere but I don’t know what it is. I have to go home just to be sure my family is okay.
“Nelson, can we go back to England tomorrow?” I said turning to him
He gave me the “are you okay look” and focused back on his work. He probably thinks I’m joking
“Nelson please let’s go home tomorrow” I said again. This time, he stopped what he was doing and faced me.
“Why do you want us to go home tomorrow? What happened to the Jeju island you said you wanted to go tomorrow?”
“We can always come back for that. I feel like something is wrong somewhere. I miss my family, I want to be sure they’re fine”
“You can just call them instead” he said already bringing out his phone
“I don’t want to call them. I don’t think they would tell me if something is wrong.”
He stared at me uneasily before finally shrugging it off
“It’s okay if that’s what you want”
“Thanks” I said and lay on the bed.
Nelson’s POV
Olivia should have just waited a while before putting up her drama, why does it have to be when I’m close to discovering something?
I went out of the room to call my friend
“How far about the job?” I said immediately he answered the call
“You couldn’t even greet before asking about the work. Anyway, I’ve gotten some things on the girl.
When she came to the hotel looking suspicious, she was actually sent to carry out a plan.
I don’t really know what it’s about but I know Chang Min sent her.
Just give me few more days and I will be done”
“Alright then. For now, I will be leaving Korea tomorrow but I will come back when you’re done. My girlfriend said she misses her family”
“That’s nice. Take care”
“Thanks. Bye…. ”

OLIVIA
Episode 55
Katherine Logan’s POV
There’s no way I’m letting go of Olivia, never ever. She’s my daughter and it will always remain that way.
I never even thought Olivia could be the President’s daughter, no wonder why she’s really pretty.
“Honey, we need to talk” I said to my husband immediately he got home
“I’m tired. As you can see I’m just coming back from work, we can talk about it later please” he said staring at me affectionately
“It’s about Olivia” I said and that seemed to catch his attention because he turned to me immediately
“What about Olivia?”
“Her biological parents came here today” I said and I watched as color drained from his face
“What did you say?” he said slowly sitting down
“Olivia’s biological parents came here today and you won’t believe who they are.”
“Who are they” he asked sitting up
“The President of Korea is her father and the First Lady is her mother”
“What?!!!! Are you kidding me?”
“Of course not! I have no time for things like that right now”
“So what did they say when they came here?”
“They asked us to get prepared because we will be transferring the right of Olivia’s parents to them tomorrow”
“What?! Tomorrow?”
“Yes, tomorrow”
“What are we supposed to do? Aw will Olivia feel knowing we are not are real parents and worse, how will she feel when she comes back to discover our rights are transferred to some other people?”
“I know right? She will definitely feel bad but what can we do?”
(Sighs) “I guess we will have to plead with them to give us time at least to have good memories of Olivia with us”
“They won’t agree to that. The President can’t leave the country for too long so they will probably leave soon. We have to think of something else”
“Let’s think about that tomorrow, I’m really weak now”
“Alright honey”
Nelson’s POV
I and Olivia are finally leaving for England today but I will be coming back in two days time because of the case I’m working on (Olivia’s case).
“Nelson, aren’t you done?” Olivia whined. I know she misses her family a lot
“I’m almost ready…… Here, I’m done” I said to her after which we went to the car and drove straight to where my jet was.
*Hours later*
We’ve arrived at England now, at least someone would stop disturbing me.
“Nelson, I wasn’t able to get anything for my parents and siblings and you couldn’t even remind me”
“I’m sorry, I also forgot”
“Keep your sorry. Let me get something for them before we head back home” she said and walked back to the car
We went round the supermarket and bought many things but Olivia made sure I didn’t spend a dime, I wish all girls were like her.
“I’m done now so we can go home” she said when she finished
“Sure”
Park Min Shin’s POV
I and my husband drove off to Olivia’s parents house with our guards but we made sure we didn’t use flashy cars not to attra-ct attention to ourselves.
“Good day ma’am and sir” I greeted when we got there. Thankfully, her husband is at home now so there’s nothing to worry about.
“Welcome” they chorused
“So I believe you know why we are here?” I said going straight to the point
“Yes ma’am” they said staring at each other
“Why are you staring at each other? Have you been able to come to a conclusion?
“Yes ma’am, but we need time. We want to spend some time with Olivia even if it’s just for three days, please” the husband said
“I’m sorry but that won’t be possible. As you know, we have a great responsibility on our shoulders so we have little or no time for these”
“You can leave today. After we spend time with Olivia, we will send her over” the wife suggested
“No, we will love to take our daughter with us when we’re leaving”
We we’re still arguing when we heard a knock on the door. The person didn’t wait for our response before coming in. Who could that be?
We waited for the person to come in and when the person finally came in, my mouth was wide opened in shock.
Olivia? I thought she was in Korea, right? How come she’s here and at the wrong time also?
She greeted us slowly before finally asking the question I expected her to.
“What’s going on here?” she directed at no one in particular
When no one answered, she repeated herself
“Can someone explain what’s going on here? Why is the President and First Lady of Korea in our house?”
Someone came in from behind just after she said that. I looked closely and discovered it was Nelson. Can today ever get worse?
Ethan Logan’s POV
I just stared at the whole scenario before me. Olivia finally caught us! Where exactly do we start from?
When she repeated her question, I felt my lungs drying up.
“You won’t say anything” she repeated
The First Lady cleared her throat like she wanted to say something but she kept quiet.
“Mom? Dad?” she called
“Olivia, you don’t need to worry about things like this. You just came back from a long journey and I know you must be really tired so go up to your room and rest”
“No Dad, I want to know what’s going on” she said adamantly
“Nelson can you please help me talk to her?” I said turning to Nelson
“I’m sorry but I can’t do that sir”
“Explain what’s going on Dad”
(Sighs) “Okay then. Since you want to know what is going on, I will explain to you. Sit!”
“Alright” she said taking a sit
“I will explain my own part to you then either the President or the First Lady will explain their own part”
“Okay Dad, I’m listening”
