Episode 52
Park Min Shin’s POV
I and my husband are currently seated before the press, I don’t know when we’re going to finish with the questions.
“Is Stephanie really not your daughter?” one of the journalist asked
“Yes” I responded because I know my husband is not himself
“How did that happen? I mean, you should have double-checked. Apart from that, being the President of this country, you should be able to handle this small issues if you really want to run a country. What do you have to say to that?” another journalist questioned.
“I… (clears throat) I will agree that’s a fault on my part. I failed to check properly and I’m facing the consequences now.
I’m truly sorry for misleading the entire country and I promise it won’t happen again” my husband finally said
“You should have prevented it from the start. What do you want the public to say about a President that can’t even handle the issues of his immediate family? Just put yourself in their shoes and tell us what you would think about such President.”
“I would also think the same way but I promise it won’t repeat itself. I was just overwhelmed with the joy of finding my lost daughter.
Think about it. If you were me, would you double check? I have been separated from my daughter for 17 years so you should know how I felt.”
“We un-derstand but what about the public? What are you going to do about them?”
“They should tell me whatever I can do to make them forgive me”
“Alright, we will inform them about it. You should also find your biological daughter within that period and make sure you triple check this time because we won’t accept any mistake again”
“Thank you, I will do just that” my husband said shaking hands with some of the journalists.
“Finally, we’ve managed to get the public and media off our ne-ck for some time” my husband said when we got home.
“You’re right but there is one more thing. We have to secretly travel to England to see Olivia’s foster parents” I said to him
“That’s true. When should we leave?”
“We should make it as soon as possible, probably this week”
“Okay then. In two days time, we will leave for England” my husband concluded
Bella’s POV
I think it’s time I left Korea, besides Dad called me last night asking me to come home.
I got into my car and the driver started driving me to the airport.
“Stop the car” I said when I sp-otted someone like Olivia and Nelson.
I took a close look at them and it turned out I was right. Like seriously?
I know the person that won the overall winner of the just concluded K-Pop contest looked like Olivia but I never thought she could be the one.
And Nelson? I though he and Olivia broke up or was it all an act?
“Ma’am we’re going to miss our flight” my driver’s voice jolted me out of my thoughts
“Okay, let’s go” I wish Dad wasn’t making use of his jet.
There will still be a lot of time to find out what really happened between Olivia and Nelson.
Park Chang Min’s POV
The investigator has given me a complete detail on Olivia’s background.
I now know she’s from England, she has a brother and sister and some other things there.
He hasn’t been able to carry out a DNA test on her because of her boyfriend (Nelson). They’re always with guards anytime they go out so it’s difficult to get some strands of her hair, I guess we’ll have to wait a little bit.
I just don’t know why I’m nervous about this whole issue.
For all I know, she might not even be related to Min Jin so I don’t un-derstand why I’m getting all worked up.
The sound of my phone snapped me out of my thoughts. I checked the caller and discovered it was the investigator.
Has he finally been able to get something? The only way to find out is by answering this call.
“Good day sir” he greeted from the other end
“Good day. Do you have any news about Olivia yet?”
“Calm down sir, that was why I called. I was able to sneak a maid in among the people that dressed for her so I have some strands of her hair with me now.
All that’s left to do is carry out the DNA test and that will be all”
“Are you sure about what you’re saying?”
“Yes sir”
“Ohh… that’s good news but please be fast with the test and make sure there are no mistakes. When is the result going to be out?”
“Probably this evening sir”
“Alright thanks so much. I will be expecting the result in the evening”
“Okay sir. Bye”
Yes!!!! I can’t wait for the result to be out. After the result is out, I will talk to Olivia myself to see if I can find any clue from her.
I know it’s going to be ha-rd because of her overprotective boyfriend but I will still try.
I wish it was evening already.
OLIVIA
Episode 53
Nelson’s POV
I studied one of the people that dressed for Olivia yesterday and one of them seemed suspicious.
I shrugged it off until I saw her sneaking away immediately she left our room in the hotel.
I checked the set of people that came to dress for Olivia today and noticed she wasn’t among them and that confirmed my suspicions.
Thankfully I took a picture of her yesterday since I wasn’t so sure about her. I instantly put a call across one of my friends in Korea who is an investigator.
“Ohh my goodness… Someone should please not wake me up from this dream. Is Nelson really calling me?” I heard him say immediately he answered the call
“It’s not a dream and don’t think I’ve forgotten about you, I’ve just been busy lately”
“Yeah, busy with a certain Olivia”
“Not really. I want you to find someone for me please”
“Who might that be?”
“It’s a girl. She was among the people that attended to Olivia yesterday but I can’t find her now and she looked suspicious yesterday”
“Okay, for old times sake. But promise to pay me a visit before you leave Korea.”
“I promise and please be fast about it”
“Sure thing boss” he said and I ended the call.
I can joke with any other thing but not my Olivia.
“Honey, where are we going today?” Olivia asked as she emerged from the room.
“Someone is looking great today” I said teasingly
“Weren’t you the one that asked them to put this ru-bbish on my face?” she said pouting her li-ps
“Do I really have to use make up?”
“Of course! Very soon, you will become a K-Pop idol. You should even be thankful you have a boyfriend like me” I said proudly
“Thankful my foot. Let’s just go” she said walking away
After few minutes of driving, we arrived at our destination.
We went to Ggotji beach first to have some fun. Many lovers were there and Olivia couldn’t stop admiring it.
After we left there, we went to Dadohaehaesang National park. We bought ice cream and sat down quietly watching the couples and kids present.
“This view coupled with the ice cream reminds me of our first real date.” Olivia said staring directly at me
“Yeah you’re right. I’m glad I met you”
“Me too” she said and we engaged in a hot pa-ssionate kis-s
Fortunately for us, we wore masks and face cap. I’m sure our picture would have been the latest trend on net if we hadn’t done that.
When we finished from there, we went to a nearby restaurant to eat lunch after which we went home to take a nap. We already agreed to visit Gwang-An-Bridge in the evening.
Stephanie’s POV
Why does it seem like everything is falling apart for me?
Almost all the company that signed a contract with me are withdrawing their contracts.
I can’t even walk freely anymore. The media still has lots of questions to ask me, I ba-rely escaped from them the last time but I won’t go down alone.
The President is supposed to have found his biological daughter now and I’ve planted a spy in the President’s mansion and the sound has been feeding me with information.
I will make sure I end her life and also end mine.
Lately, she said the President’s wife stare at Olivia’s picture most of the time. I will soon get the President wife’s hair but I don’t know how I’m going to get Olivia’s own.
I have to carry out a DNA test on them to know if Olivia is their daughter or not.
Park Chang Min’s POV
I wasn’t able to collect the result yesterday evening because I was really busy but no matter how ti-ght my schedule is today, I will make sure I pay a visit to the investigator.
Hours later
I was able to rush my work and even move some of them to the next day. Min Jin is way more important than any of my work.
“Good day sir” the investigator stood up to give me a hand shake when I entered his office
“Good day. How is work?” I said taking a seat
“Fine fine. You’re here for the DNA test, right?”
“Yes” I replied sharply
“May I ask who owns the other strands of hair?”
“It’s confidential” I replied him
“Alright then” he said stretching the result to me
“Thanks for un-derstanding”
“It’s okay” he replied focusing on his work
I slowly brou-ght out the result with shaky hands. Why am I like this when I have no idea of what the outcome will be?
“Are you okay sir?” the investigator asked
“Y… Yes” I stuttered “I think I have to go home, I will send your balance to you”
“Alright sir, take care of yourself”
*Minutes later*
I should be able to check it without being scared or nervous since I’m alone now, right?
I brou-ght out the result and closed my eyes for a while before opening it.
I slowly checked it from the top and started going downwards until I saw positive and negative.
Surprisingly, the tick was on positive. I laughed before finally shaking my head.
I know I’m not seeing clearly because there’s no way a girl from England could be my sister, it just doesn’t make sense.
I checked it properly again and discovered it was still marked positive. Are they trying to tell me Olivia is my sister?
I know I’m somehow drawn to her but I’ve always thought it’s because she’s beautiful.
“Please I want you to repeat the DNA test in another hospital” I said when the investigator answered the call
“But why sir? That hospital is one of the best and you know that too sir”
“I know. Besides it’s just one of the best, not the best so try it elsewhere and let me see the result”
“Alright sir” he said and I ended the call
