We got woken up by the guys that he’s back, we c@m£ down from where we were and left to the sitting room and Linda sat beside him while he smiled at her.
“How are you feeling? He asked his wife after he replied our greetings.
“Feeling better now, so where did you go to? She asked and he smiled and re-moved the cap he was putting on..
‘You guys nee-d to see Manfred, he he he! Tunde shouted shaking his legs and we looked at the guys that went with him and there was this excitement on their face.
“What happened sir? Linda crush spoke up.
“I went to him nau, he said I can’t beat him and I went there to show him it doesn’t end with that his village jars that is ma-king him feel high. I just pieces him and left him begging, you can imagine when I drove into his house, his dirty boys attacked seeing us and he c@m£ confronting me why I should enter his terrain, he narrated.
“So sir, sorry you mean to say Manfred is dead? I asked.
“No, but I scattered his powers. That little thing on his b©dy that is ma-king him walk on t©p of the world, I just re-moved it and threw it on the floor for him.
He was there shouting I should return you guys to him else he will deal with me, he was even pointing his filthy hands on me and I was just there laughing. But when his powers were on the floor and he could see it, there he knew he is just vulnerable to whatever I will do with him. There he started begging o, that he didn’t mean to t©uçh you o but his guys did when you proved stubborn and a lot of begging. I just left him and told him he’s lucky I’m in a very good mood and hr was wise enough to beg, else I would have helped you all to end this once and for all, he said.
“Why sir! You should have killed him, he doesn’t deserve to live! I shouted without knowing and Linda held my hand.
“Calm down Dora, Uche said and I covered my face angry such an opportunity pas-sed.
“That’s not how things are done, besides I don’t know you guys and I shouldn’t interfere in what doesn’t concern me. I am only doing this because of my wife and now she’s fine, my hands are off. Besides it wasn’t my intention to kill him, I only wanted him to see there are powers that pas-ses powers and his own is still in the nursery section, and that humiliation I gave to him is enough to deal with him that he shouldn’t have involved my wife in the first place. So I wish you guys luck and I think I’ve been most helpful right? He asked and the guys nodded.

“Its okay, but that doesn’t mean you all can leave, I can still buy you 2 days more to be sure you are healed of all these, he said.
“Thank you sir, the guys said and left one by one and I followed behind but Linda stayed back.
We got to where we were receiving treatment and sat down on the be-d, my mood showed it all that i was very angry.
“Dora, he is right, he cant just jump into our fight that way, he’s too big for that, Uche calmly said.
“Why should he still be alive? And do you expect me to be happy knowing that beast is still out there looking for us, I said.
“This is our fight Dorothy, in fact my fight because I am now interested in him. And we nee-d to be more strong because he has challenged me for the very time we went on a mission and failed woefully. This is a sl@p and a message to us we nee-d to sit up and be more stronger to defeat him, Linda crush said.
“That’s right, it will be so unfair if that idiot dies so cheaply, I want him to die painfully and we will do it on our own, the guy who saved us said and I heaved.
“Are we forgetting something here? I got something important from Linda husband, he was talking about powers, that should be charms right? How are we going to defeat the charms to make him vulnerable? I asked and Linda crush smiled.
“That’s a small thing, though I didn’t want to do it but I think the time has come. I will show him that I have ideas about it everywhere, and if we join it all check out the spark that we will bring out! Linda crush said and Linda walked in meeting us.
“I tried talking to him to buy us more time, and he agreed on giving us a week to stay here so we can get a place to stay.
To him he said the building is important and I couldn’t say anything more, she said.
“1 week is enough, and thank you, Uche said and she heaved.
“What is going to happen now? Any plans now about Manfred knowing he won’t st©p coming after us? She asked.
“Of course he wont st©p coming after us but we will be re-ady for him. We just have to find a place to stay first, get hold of weapons and then kick off, Linda Crush said.
“That’s suicide, Linda said.
“That was then, I have my plans now I know who he really is, he said.
“Okay, my husband also said he will help you guys with the sum of 2 million naira, but pretend like you’ve not heard of such, she said.
“Thank you, he has done enough, the guy who saved us said and she nodded.
“I guess you’re going back to him right? I asked and she sighed.
“I have to, no matter how I’m running away from him, we just keep coming back somehow and he just keep loving me like I did nothing bad to him. I just have to accept the fact that I’m his wife and get settled before its too late, she replied and i nodded.
“He indeed loves you, I said and she gave a smile.
“Love is blind isn’t it? She asked.
“when it’s blind its foolish, I replied and she looked at her crush who was quiet all along and she slowly got up.
“I’ll leave you all to rest,see you tomorrow, she said.
“Goodnight, we said to her and she was about to leave,
“Sorry about your house, its our fault, Her crush said.
“Its nothing and it will be renovated soon, she said smiling and looked at me.
“Are you slee-ping here? Come sleep with me, she said.
“What about your husband? I asked.
“Common Dorothy we still have a lot to talk about our marriage, I may not know what’s he’s thinking despite he’s smiling at me, and plea-se don’t get me in the mood, she said and the guys coughed and we laughed.
“Okay o, i said and followed her telling the guys goodnight………….
I woke up hearing Linda shouting my name and i was sweating badly,
“Bad dream? Linda asked me and I nodded shivering.
“Its okay, It was only a dream, she said tapping me.
“No a repeated dream means its serious, I said.
“What dream is that? She asked.
“About my brothers, I still saw them in a burnt house calling out for me, I said and she shook her head.
“Its only your imagination Dora, don’t think too much about it I know you’re only missing them but they will be with you soon, she said and a knock c@m£ on the door.
“Who is it? Linda asked.
“Hi can i come in? We heard Linda husband voice outside.
“A minute plea-se, Linda said and i cleaned my face re-ady to leave the room.
“Don’t think about it okay, it was only a bad dream and I’ll meet you outside so we will go for shopping alright, Linda said but I only nodded and left the room greeting her husband outside who apologized for disturbing but i simply told him i was about going out before he c@m£.
I went to the guys and told them about the dream,
“You said you had this before you c@m£ to Lagos? The funniest of them asked and i nodded.
“In fact the dream made me to take up my search for Manfred serious, do you think he has an evil plan un-der his sleeves against my brothers? Because he told me alre-ady he is going to use them to punish me, I said.
“Okay i can interpret this dream in 2 ways,
One may be its just your imagination that you’re scared he might use them as a revenge against you. The second may be, he may indeed have a bad plan, but who knows, the guy who rescued us said.
“Manfred for sure is wounded and he will surely step up his game now someone has opened his eyes to his n-kedness. I don’t want to get you scared, the dream may have a bad meaning, something we may not like, Linda crush spoke up and my eyes bulged out and Uche stood up from where he sat when he saw my reaction and held me down.
“What are you saying? You mean my brothers are going to die? What are you saying? I flared up.
“No no that’s not what he meant, nothing Is going to happen to them okay, we will bring them safe to you, Uche said and hvgged me as i was crying alre-ady………
