Amelia came back home and pretended like she didn’t know anything that happened, in fact after discussing it with her finacê Victor came to the conclusion that Amara could be the one who sent him that video after all the video was sent the same day she arrived from Canada but for them to be sure they have to act like they are having issues and their relationship is about ending.
Victor believe that by doing so Amara would show her true form out.
Amelia agreed with Victor’s plan and they came home, Mrs chioma and her daughter were in the living room when they heard noises and came out.
VICTOR
I can’t believe after you told me that video I got about you was a lie and someone was trying to set you up, I didn’t think you would do this to me again….
AMELIA
I already apologize to you babe, your friend is a je-rk, he ki-ssed me on aware.
VICTOR
oh yeah? and you had to ki-ss him back? for Christ sake I saw you amelia, you couldn’t even push him away.
AMELIA
I was just lost in the moment…. I’m sorry.
VICTOR
(he slammed his car door)
sorry? sorry just don’t fix things amelia, you are always sorry but never changing….you know what? I’m done….this relationship is good as over.
AMELIA

VICTOR
oh wow, so because you have your family to support you that’s why you decided to cheat on me?
(he yelled at her)
Mrs chioma was tired of the drama the two supposed love birds were playing so she moved closer to them…. Amara was filled with job, she thought a day like this would never come again, she couldn’t hide how happy she is that they were breaking up themselves.
MRS CHIOMA
what’s going on here? Victor what Happened between you two?
VICTOR
good evening ma, I shouldn’t have come back but because you all are aware that k left Abuja with Amelia that’s why I brou-ght her back to you….. I’m not longer interested in dating your daughter again.
MRS CHIOMA
calm down and talk to me…..what happened?
AMELIA
why are you begging him mum? this guy is just too full of himself… he thinks I’m going to die if he leaves me…. Michael who was supposed to marry me disappeared did I die? no I didn’t so why will I die because one man said I’m not good enough for him.
MRS CHIOMA
will you shut up and let the young man talk ? Amelia when did you turn like this?
AMELIA
since everyone started to treat me as trash….. you can go ahead and beg him as you want, after all is something you are good at…..but as for me? I’m done with this relationship.
She said and picked her bag and walked out on all of them, Victor picked his bag too and went to his flat.
Iburo who had already prayed that God should make amelia and Victor end up together as husband and wife couldn’t help but weep for what his eyes had just seen.
Even Peter that was too disappointed to come out just stood at his window listening to everything that was going on.
He wondered what Amara must have done this time around to make Victor see his woman as a slut… or could it be that amelia was wrong this time ? because she didn’t even try to defend herself.
The confused Peter waited for everyone to go back into their house, before he went to see Victor.
He knocked at Victor’s door and Victor opened the door for him.
VICTOR

PETER
my guy, w£tin dey sup na? I just the hear as you dey shout for your babe head…. w£tin she do?
VICTOR
honestly Pete, I’m not in the mood to talk about that girl right now….. I thought you even said Amelia was the good one while Amara is the bad one?
PETER
come rain, come sun I go still talk am…. Amelia is the best girl you can ever get… she’s ten times a woman her sister will never be…. look bro I don’t know what happened but what I know is that….. don’t lose that girl, you will regret it.
VICTOR
well, it’s too late because we already broke up
PETER
I heard you guys arguing, believe me man, you nee-d Amelia in your life… what happened in Lagos? I thought you said you guys nee-ded that trip to clear your heads? and you never told me what happened that you were cleaning your head?
VICTOR
(he sat down)
you might want to take a bottle of drink, because the story is long.
PETER

Victor explained everything to Peter starting from the first video down to the second video, he went ahead to explain to him what Amelia told him about the video…. after listening to everything Victor had to say Peter came to the conclusion that Amara had a hand in it.
PETER
bro with everything you have just told me, I won’t shocked to know that Amara has a hand in this.
VICTOR
(pretending to be shocked)
jezz, why do you hate the girl so much Pete? okay fine let’s just as-sumed Amara has a hand in that…. what about the one I saw with my eyes?
PETER
you told me it was your friend that ki-ssed her first, to me I feel what happened can happen to anyone you know…. when your friend ki-ssed her, probably she was in shock that’s why she didn’t push him off immediately.
VICTOR
I don’t know man…. I just don’t want to continue this relationship.
PETER
I know how you feel man, and it’s justifiable, you saw a video of your woman with another man, a vidoe she claim she can’t explain how it hapoen and when you try look pas-s all that, you caught her ki-ssing with your friend… but why not get to the root of this matter, settle it once and for all then you will un-derstand what I’m telling you about this girl.
VICTOR
so, let’s say I’m gonna listen to you…. I don’t even know what to do or how to get the truth about that video.
Peter collected Victor’s phone and watched the video again, he couldn’t get anything from the video so he checked the pictures, he zoomed closely and saw something that he would recognize any day.
He smiled at Victor making victor to wonder what was amusing him.
PETER
I know the club, in fact I was the one that first to Amara to that place when they newly moved to this compound.
Victor was happy that their plans were coming throu-ghtoo quickly, he was happy Mrs chioma and Amara bought the little drama he and Amelia display outside.
He thought of his woman and their unborn child, he felt like calling her to know how they were both doing bu-tt e feared that amelia might be with her family answering questions just as his answering his with peter too.

Amelia went into her room and lie down, she was sure her mother and sister would come asking her plenty questions about what they just witnessed outside and was ready for them.
MRS CHIOMA
Can you explain what just happened out there amelia?
AMELIA
mum I’m very tired and I would really appreciate it if you guys leave me alone.
AMARA
we are here because we care, I mean you and Victor left this house happily, we are shocked to see how things turned out.
AMELIA
you guys already heard from Victor, what else do you want me to tell you?
MRS CHIOMA
we didn’t hear the full story so tell us…..beside you are my daughter, it’s whatever you tell me I will believe.
AMELIA
(She inhale)
Just two days ago Victor’s friend came to visit us, I cooked and we all ate, then we went to the living room where we played game and then everyone retire to bed…. I felt hungry in the middle of the night so I came downstairs to microwave something to eat…. I met Victor’s friend in the kitchen he was drinking water, I greeted him and went to do what I came in for…..we got talking and laughing and the next time he ki-ssed me…. I tried to push him away but I just couldn’t.
AMARA
you couldn’t? or he didn’t let you?
AMELIA
he didn’t for-ce me okay, I could have moved away immediately but I didn’t which means I liked what he was doing to me…. it was that moment Victor walked in and caught us.
MRS CHIOMA
wow that’s serious…. but you shouldn’t have let that ki-ss happen since you know Victor was around.
AMARA
is that what you are suppose to say mum? you should be scolding her for allowing it to Happen in the first place.
AMELIA
and when did you become a saint to judge me?
AMARA
far from it sister, I’m not trying to judge you or anything…. I’m just saying you and Victor look perfect, and the guy truly loves you…so why betray him like that.
MRS CHIOMA
Amara stop that okay, your sister doesn’t nee-d all that now, all she nee-ds is love and support.
AMARA
okay I’m sorry…. welcome back.
She said and went into the living room rejoicing that she didn’t even have to stress heeself in breaking them.
“Victor may God bless that your friend for me, how I wish I know him or could meet him one on one I would have given him a sweet ki-ss to appreciate him for a job Weldon”?
she said inwardly and jumped on the couch clapping her both hands in joy.
Mrs chioma came outside to meet her daughter, she pulled her by the hand and drag her outside.
AMARA
what is it mum? why did you pull me out like that?
MRS CHIOMA
what was the meaning of what you were saying inside? ain’t you happy things got bad for them?
AMARA
I’m overwhelmed mum, in fact I feel like sharing my testimony…. all what I was saying there is for formality, you don’t know how much I have been praying for them to break up.
MRS CHIOMA
I would have said ooh, this one you are there telling her how much Victor loves her.
AMARA
it’s just to make her feel like I stop having feelings for victor na.
MRS CHIOMA
smarm girl…. that remains me, what about the money I talk to you about?
AMARA

MRS CHIOMA
there is time for everything, when the time for buying of cars come, you sure will baby…. right now we both nee-d this investment.
AMARA

trust me my girl….. once we buy those landed property and put them for rent, we will recover all your money.

and you are sure you trust that boy?

it’s okay mum…. I will borrow you 30 million to add up to the one you have…. I already did some shopping so I don’t have much again.
MRS CHIOMA
I still have some cash too, so I’m hoping that after negotiating it would come down to the amount we have in hand.
AMARA
that’s okay… right now what I nee-d is victor, so do whatever you want with the money.
MRS CHIOMA

AMARA
once I get close to my phone…. excuse me mother .
She said and went back inside to lie down.
Around 9pm Peter took Victor to the club house where amelia and Amara went before…. they got a seat and ordered for drinks… the guy that came to serve them drinks came and dropped their order on the table before leaving.
Immediately he left Peter followed him and connered him.
PETER
bros how far?
MATTHEW
hope no problem bros?
PETER
no ooh, abeg na something I want ask you.
MATTHEW
okay, but you have to be fast about it…. I’m working.
Peter brou-ght out his phone from his pocket and showed matthew Amara’s picture.
PETER
you know this babe?
MATTHEW
(he stare at the picture very well)
No I don’t know her… please can I go?
Peter is a street boy and he un-derstands the language very well, he knew Matthew would nit spill out the word unless he tip him so he brou-ght out his wallet and tip him two thousand naira.
PETER
I really nee-d to know places.
MATTHEW
(he collected the money)
yes I know her.
PETER
good, so do you see her more often here?
MATTHEW
I have seen her here countless of time.
PETER
she came alone or with some people?
MATTHEW
I can’t remember, but you can ask my colleague Jordan, they are very close….. anytime she’s around, he always beg me to take over from him while he excuse himself and spend minutes before coming back.
PETER
but how are you sure his going to see this lady?
MATTHEW
I am not a child na, once I see two people who are Fu**ing each other I would know…. Jordan is f*¢king that lady I am sure.
PETER
thanks alot…. this means alot to me.
Matthew left and Peter returned back to his seat, he told Victor everything metthew had just told him…. Victor felt it was a waste of time coming to the club house, he was sure nobody would want to give them the information they nee-ded.
But Peter was able to convince Victor to keep hope alive that they would get their evidence.
Some minutes later Peter and Victor got up and went to the bar where jordan sells, they ordered for two shot of scotch and drank it.
PETER
you look very new, how long have you been working here?
(he started a conversation with Jordan)
JORDAN
(he smiled)
I’m not new here ooh, I have been working here close to a year now
PETER
wow, well maybe it’s true….. I haven’t come here for a while too.
JORDAN
true because your face look new to me too.
They talked casually for a while before Victor asked jordan why he was sleeping with his wife which made Jordan almost fainted.
