EPISODE 53
Victor saw how Amelia was shaking, he knew If he did not do anything she might pas-s out again so he collected the phone from her and pocket it.
VICTOR
I don’t know what is going on, or what Michael is saying to you, but what I know is that, you have heard a enough.
AMELIA
No, please give that back…. I want him to tell me what he knows.
VICTOR
babe take a good look at yourself, one more bad news again and you will faint again…. please try to calm down.
AMELIA
calm down? how can I calm down when someone is telling me that the mother I have known all my life would go as far as ruining my life.
Victor was shocked, all her heard when amelia was on the phone was only what she says he didn’t hear what Michael was saying.
VICTOR
Babe no matter what you just have to calm down okay.
AMELIA
oh Jesus Christ, my head hurt babe….I feel….
She was still saying and pas-sed out again, this time Victor rushed her to the hospital where series of test was carried out on her but she seem to be factly fine until one of the doctor suggested the run a scan for her to see.
Some hours later the scan results came out, she was three weeks pregnant.
DOCTOR HARRY
congratulations sir, she’s three weeks pregnant.
That got Victor confuse, since they came to Lagos he has not slept with her not even for once, except for the se-x they had before all those saga of leaked vidoe…. immediately he started to calculate from the day they had se-x and became more confuse.
VICTOR
I’m confused doctor, we had unprotected se-x just once….

medicine terms are different Mr Victor, a woman can be pregnant for one day but medically it’s reads three days already…. so I’d you want to do the math don’t count 123 but count three days as one day…. whatever your answer is then you decide if you are the owner of the pregnancy or not.
Victor didn’t doubt that he owns the pregnancy, he was just confuse how come they didn’t notice she was pregnant when he took her to the hospital at abuja.
VICTOR
are you sure she’s pregnant? because she was sick just last week and I took her to the hospital but they didn’t say anything about pregnancy.
DOCTOR HARRY
when you brou-ght her here if you noticed series of test was carried out on her and it all came out negative except for the shock she has that made her to faint… I had this feeling that something else could be the reason why for the constant fainting so I asked for a scan…. pregnancy test result came out negative because the pregnancy is to early to be detected.
After doc Harry explained everything to Victor he un-derstood better and left his office.
The joy in his heart couldn’t be bought if they were to sell it…. he sat beside Amelia on her bed and held her hands, his emotions failed him and his tears dropped
“what would have happened if I hadn’t come for you that day? you would have carried this alone? train our child as a single mother…. I could imagine how bad you will grow to hate me…. I’m grateful lord for redirecting my step… I’m soon gonna become a father”
He said silently to himself and carried.
for some reasons Amelia wasn’t discharge that night, even Victor wasn’t in a hurry to go home, not after hearing that amelia is with a child…. what if she faints again and the doctor already warned him to stop her from any form of stress or worrying else she may lose the baby.
Amelia woke up the next morning and found herself in the hospital, she didn’t see Victor by her side so she tried to get up and remove the drip from her body.
As she was doing that a nurse came inside and stopped her.
NURSE
you this woman it seems like you don’t value your life abi?
AMELIA
where is my finacê ? where did he go?
NURSE
the man that brou-ght you is your finacê?
she asked with this look that says “so you guys ain’t even married yet and you are already pregnant”
Amelia didn’t un-derstand wj the nurse would look at her like that, but she didn’t care… all she cared about was for victor to come take her out of the hospital, she want to go back home and look her family in the eyes to know if what Michael said was true.
NURSE
your finacê went home to get you a few things because we won’t be discharging you today.
AMELIA
what? that’s a big lie okay… because I’m not spending another hour in this hospital not when I have someplace to be.
The nurse was still trying to calm amelia down and make her stay in bed when Victor walked in….. he dropped the bag in his hand and went to hold his woman happily.
VICTOR
thank God you are awake baby, you really scared me.
AMELIA
thank God you are here now, can you please tell them to discharge me? I’m fine and ready to go now.
VICTOR
no, no I’m not gonna do that babe
AMELIA
and why is that Victor? I want to go home
VICTOR
And you will okay, but for now just relax and allow this people take care of you both.
Amelia became confuse, who else was Victor referring to? the nurse knew it was time for victor to break the news to his woman.
NURSE
make sure she doesn’t leave the bed sir…. you know why.
VICTOR
thank you nurse….. I won’t let her go anywhere.
AMELIA
what’s going on babe
(she asked immediately the nurse left)
VICTOR
(He smiled and held her hand)
babe, you know that I love you right? and you know I won’t keep you here against your will if it wasn’t important.
AMELIA
I know so tell me, what’s going on? and why is that nurse looking at me like I don’t know but their her meaning to those looks.
VICTOR
(He ki-ssed her stomach)
we are going to be a parent soon baby
AMELIA
how do you mean?
VICTOR
you are pregnant babe
(he said excitedly)
AMELIA
pregnant? how is that even possible?
VICTOR
we had se-x didn’t we….so it’s very much possible baby.
Amelia didn’t know if she should be happy or sad, she thought of the kind of family she came out from and what Michael said about her family how curse their generations will be, and that made her to wonder if she can be a good mother to her child, she wonder if the hatred she has grown to see and receive from her family If she wouldn’t transfer it to her child …. she feared that Victor’s mother hasn’t met her yet, what if she doesn’t like her? will she suffer alone with the pregnancy or Victor will just be a father to his child and not a husband?
Alot of things ran throu-ghher mind, Victor noticed she wasn’t saying anything about the pregnancy so he held her hand softly with an as-suring smile which made her relax a little.

EPISODE 54
Andrew and his family had a plan to defraud Mrs chioma all her money.
That idea all started when Andrew family who use to be a dangerous gambler heard that his son was dating a sugar mummy, the man made sure to follow his son everywhere he went to just to get his fact right and when he had gotten all his facts right he decided to approach his son with the plan.
At first Andrew refuse because he feared that Mrs chioma could harm him or sense that he wanted to scam her.
But his father was king of the game and up till date he hasn’t lost his touch.
He gave his son all the details of how they were going to scan Mrs Chioma.
For two weeks he was training himself on their plans…. all that time Mrs chioma didn’t get the opportunity to see her sugar boy, because whenever she called for his attention he would tell her he isn’t in town or busy.
Finally Andrew had the courage and balls to tell Mrs chioma about the plan, he was surprised when Mrs chioma bought his idea….. he didn’t even know the old woman was going to believe him so easily.
Andrew’s family made fake docu-ments of landed property, already built houses and told his son to give it to her…. she will be so happy to invent that’s if she has the money.
MRS CHIOMA
and you are sure all this docu-ment are legit?
(she said scanning throu-ghthe docu-ment)
ANDREW
of course my love, you know I can’t see bad thing and push you there…. if things go wrong for you, then my life is ruin too…. without you I’m nothing.
MRS CHIOMA

so this your friend that you said his father owns these properties, is it possible if I meet him and see what I’m paying for?

if that’s the case I will like you to arrange a meeting between us on Saturday evening at this hostel reception.

if the deal is affordable why not…. the price that your friend father stated here is just too much.

yeah I know, but if you look at it from another side, you will see that you have more to gain than the seller… imagine putting the already built houses on rent….. within two years you must have recovered the money you are paying right now.

Then she remembered Job, the one who paid one million naira to her so he could sleep with Amelia, he immediately dialled his number but it wasn’t going throu-gh… she waited for some hours before she dialled his number again and it rang, she was surprised when someone else answered the phone.
MRS CHIOMA
hello who is this? I want to speak with Job?
MARGRET
job is not available at the moment, I’m his younger sister.
MRS CHIOMA
where is he? please its important I speak to him.
MARGRET
my brother is in coma
(She said crying)
MRS CHIOMA
what? coma? how come? was he involved in am accident or what?
(she asked all at once)
MARGRET
I don’t know ma, all I know is that his shop neighbors called me to inform me that my brother shop got burnt down with himself….. what shocked everyone the most was that, no one knew his shop was burning until it destroy everything in my brother’s shop and him as well.
Mrs chioma found the story not just shocking but absorb, she ended her call, she thought Job would be in the better position to help hlep her but it’s obvious the fool can’t even help himself .
FLASHBACK TO THE DAY AMELIA WAS ra-pe
After job left Mrs chioma’s house, he wanted to drive home because he was so tired after going three rounds on the fighting girl, but he valued money more than his own body so he decided to reach his shop first before going home.
him and his boy emeka were doing calculations when he suddenly felt like drinking something, he gave emeka some money to go across the road and buy him a bottle of cold drink.
Emeka collected the money from him and left with his phone, on his way he decided to call his girlfriend Amanda go cancel their appointment because his boss was in the job.
Emeka and his girlfriend talked on the phone till he forgot that his boss had sent him to buy him a drink.
job got tired of waiting for emeka to come back with his drink so he decided to sleep a little and wait for him, he went and laid down on the one arm couch and slept… no one knew where the fire came from, but within minutes it had burnt down the entire shop and job in it, when Emeka came back and was about entering the shop, he noticed everywhere was dark, he couldn’t see anything so he on his torch light only to scream for help.
The neighbors ran out and we’re surprised too, they didn’t see smoke, nor did they hear anyone scream for help so how come the fired went as far as burning down everything.
The most surprising thing was the next shop that was joined with job’s own didn’t catch fire…. it was as if the fire came to destroy just job….. immediately the fire burnt down everything that belong to job including him in it, it stopped on it’s own.
they brou-ght out job’s half corps body the shop, he was still breathing faintly so they rushed him to the hospital…. he has been in the hospital and coma since then.
Margret, job’s younger sister couldn’t take the news, she knew there was more to it than what just happened so she went to see a pastor who told her God has visited job with his anger….. that was why he sent him to slumber and took away everything that makes him feel his is a man….. the pastor told Margret to take his brother home and prepared him for burial, else they will spend all the money they have on him in the hospital and he will still die for “the wages of sin is death”
