Scarlet’s Pov~~~
Alexander was standing there looking at us. Our eyes met and I could see throu-gh his eyes that he is indeed hurt. I could feel it from here and my heart is pounding inside me.
“Will you be my girlfriend?
I promise to keep you always happy princess.” Max stood up now and once again said adoringly holding my hands together.
I am feeling those weird s-en-sations inside me and it is caused by only one person, Alexander Pearce. Why do I feel it? Because I am falling in love with him and I want to be loved by him and only him.
I don’t want to push away those feelings neither want to deny it. Yes I am attra-cted to my boss.
Max is a great guy but I am not his princess and he is not my prince. So I did what I should do. I looked into Max’s eyes and said,
“Max, you’re a great guy, very considerate, successful in your work and one of the most damn handsome man I have ever met here in Italy. But,
I am sorry I don’t feel the same way as you feel for me. I consider you as my best friend whom I would like to cherish my whole life as a friend. One day you will find your princess and that day will be soon buddy.”
“Oh okay. No problem. I just… umm… would you mind if I ask you something?” He was not at all angry. Like an un-derstanding person he is, he just asked me calmly and I nodded him in response.
“It’s him, isn’t it? Well, you like him. That’s the reason why you’re not re-ciprocating towards my feelings. Hmm…”
“Yes” I blu-shed.
Leaning towards me he whispered into my ears by asking,
“And he is standing behind me right?”
“Yes.” I replied him back and I could see that Alexander is in a much tensed state.
Max k!$$£d my left cheek and mumbled a goodnight. He then turned towards Alexander and acknowledged him with a handshake and left us alone.
Now it’s my turn to let my prince know my answer to his proposal.
I couldn’t st©p myself from falling in love with this man who is standing in front of me, there is an eerie silence between us and I walked towards him and stood right in front of him.
His mesmerizing green eyes held a lot of questions and as I said before he is tensed. But he is keeping his calm which I never expected from him.
Breaking the silence between us I calmly stated looking straight into his eyes,
“I said no to him.”
Realizing what I said to him, he had a hvge smile on his face and now his tensed self-relaxed back. Also I could see a spark in his eyes.
“I found my prince and he is standing right in front of my eyes, looking at me with a hopeful sign. So….Mr. Alexander Pearce, I want to give us a chance. My answer is yes .”
Right then without a word he pu-ll-ed me towards him and k!$$£d me like his life depended on our k!ss.
His k!sses were all rou-gh and I was in a daze. He was ecstatic with my answer and lifted me up in the air and laughingly turned me around. I kept my hands on both side of his shoulder for a firm grip and laughed along with him.
“Dove, I promise you.
I will always keep you safe and happy.
I want to know you more and de-epen our bond.” He said with a genuine smile and I gave a pe-ck on hisl-ips.
I feel so happy today that I am not able to express it in words. I am speechless!
I was smiling like an idiot all throu-gh our drive towards home. Being with him is always like a dream. I am still not able to believe that I am in a relationsh!pwith him.
“Dove, I want you to put on this blindfold. plea-se don’t ask me any questions for now. I have planned something for you.
Okay so here we go.” He placed the blindfold on my eyes and made me move out from the car. I took my steps carefully and Alexander led me towards whatever surprise he have planned for me.
“Okay. Here we are!” He whispered into my ear causing me to have chills all over my b©dy.
I took of the blindfold and looked at the surprise in front of me which made me g@sp.
It’s really amazing that he decorated our balcony into a cozy place for dinner.
Soft small be-d was placed supporting the wall, surrounding with pillows and there are two glas-ses and a bottle of wine kept on the center of the be-d. There are lights hanging above and lamps kept on each side. It’s beautiful and pretty ro-mantic.
“I wanted to have a d@t£ with you. And I thought why not we have our first d@t£ here.” He said leading me towards the balcony. We sat onto the be-d and he poured us both a glas-s of red wine.
“Come here.” He put forward his hand and stood up. I took his hand and stood up with him smiling.
k!$$£d on the back of my palm and kept both of my hands on his shoulder while he keeps his hands on my w@!st and started swaying a bit. Like a slow dance without no music.
I was smiling as well as blu-shing and kept my face down.
“Scarlet, look at me…Hey…” holding my chin up, he made me look at his face and into his mesmerizing eyes.
“A little time ago, I thought that I lost you to him. Honestly, I was scared.
I wouldn’t know what would have I had done at that time to win you back.
I will not let anyone take you away from me. You know why?” He asked while holding my face with both sides.
“Why?”
“Because your mine.”
He k!$$£d me s-en-seless. I could feel the intensity which he had for our feelings throu-gh his k!ss. His hands were roaming all over my b©dy.
I was getting those bu-tterfly feelings de-ep in my belly. He bit my lower l!pand I g@sped, at that moment he swirled his ton-gue inside my mouth ma-king the k!ssdee-per.
Slowly his k!sses trailed down to the sides of my n£¢k and near to my collarbone. In between at the perfect region he gave me a bite followed by a h0t k!sswhich led me to have a shiver and a sweet s-en-sation.
Looking at me he said,
” Mine !”
With that he picked me up in bridal style and headed inside the be-droom.

I switched off the television and teared up the newspaper into pieces. I took a bottle of wine and drank from it to calm myself. Took the framed picture of Alexander from the stand and sat down on my couch.
Looking at the picture I started talking to myself while having the drink from the bottle in between.
I know it was a big mistake to leave you and got married to that bastard Antonio.
I know I hurt you a lot and I was being selfish. I only looked for my own happiness and I left you.
See now, I ended up being all alone. No love and no one to care.
Tears started welling up and then I started sobbing. I continued talking while looking at his picture.
That day when you saw me with him in be-d at your home I was shocked.

I mean yes…..it is wrong to be with another guy while being in a relationsh!pwith you. I cheated you and hurt you. But you were always busy with work. And I felt you don’t love me and all you think is work and that hurt me too.
I was wrong; your way of showing love towards me was different. I just couldn’t see it. I was too selfish to see it. We had a nas-ty breakup and the media made a lot of news with it.
After our break up, I d@t£d Antonio and I thought he is my soulmate, a Perfect p@rtner who will always be there for me and love me forever. But I was wrong. He used me to get a more good connection with you in business and overtake the company. I overheard this information while he was speaking on the phone.
I immediately ended the relationsh!pwith him and reconciled with you. But again, he met me to apologize and proposed me on that instant.
He was showering me with lots of love and attention more than you. I was over the moon and loved all of those moments. But I clearly once again chose him over you.
I am sorry Alexi I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just wanted to be happy but I was so stupid. I made a mistake to leave u all broken. I couldn’t be happy.
He said he loves me and will always make me happy. Little did I know I was marrying a nightmare of a guy?
After three months of our marriage, his business was not going good at all.
And then one of his deals went all wrong and he lost a lot of money into it. He started drinking, was starting to make more connections in business throu-gh wrong people.
He also got involved with a mafia gang. He was so caught up in everything wrong and un-der the influence of alcohol that he started bashing me up instead of loving me. Instead of caring for me he started to be with other bit-ches.
He just ruined my life and caged me in a sorrowful life. I was broken and couldn’t take it anymore due to many reasons.
That’s why I am back here to divorce him and start a new life and to be with you. Because I know you are the only person who un-derstands me. You are a very protective and caring man. You are my first love and I know de-ep down you still love me.
You care for me and I will make you realize those feelings yet again for me. I will make you mine.
Alexander I will never allow this r0m@nç£to blo-ssom anymore. I am going to win your heart again and I will do anything to get you back even if, it will cost anyone’s life. I will get you back in my life.

I held his picture close to my che-st and cried out whole day, curled up on my couch. I was drun!kand emotionally stressed out. I was so tired that I drifted off to sleep.

Alexander’s Pov~~~
“Morning Dove.” I k!$$£d her forehead and pu-ll-ed her closer to me. We are still on be-d; Scarlet is too tired to get up.
While I just want to make love with her again and again. We had a beautiful night yesterday. Made love with each other and it was ecstatic.
Suddenly breaking my thoughts I heard my cellphone vibr@ting and I immediately picked it up seeing the caller Id. It’s mom.
“Mom”I heard her crying. I got up and headed out towards the balcony.

“When did this happen? How?

“Is he okay?”

“Yes Mom I am coming home right away, don’t you worry. Calm downokay.”

“Bye…Love youMom.”
“Alex what happened to Mom? Is she alright?” Scarlet asked me with concern while hvgging me from back in the balcony.
I turned around and looked into her beautiful blue eyes and replied to her,
“She is fine. It’s Dad. He got into an accident.”
“Oh my god..!”
“Calm down. He is admitted to the hospital and has minor injuries and a hand fracture.”
“Why didn’t you wake me up?”
“I didn’t want to. Thought you must be tired because of last night…. you know. So how are you feeling right now?”
“so-re.” She replied and I gave a pe-ck on herl-ips and then I asked her while holding her in my arms,
“Tired?”
“A bit tired but it’s alright. I think we should get going. Come on.”
“Yes.”
