Right now she won’t be able to do anything unless if it’s un-der his orders

he laughed
” Seriously? so the great Snow White can become like this, Kudos to you sorceress” he said
” Now you’re gonna hate everyone related to you, don’t listen to what anyone of them might say, especially your mum” he said

” Then your sugar boy, I mean Richa-rd , hate him the most, be mean and callous to him especially, you should even forget him” he said

” And if I don’t tell you what to do, never make any decision, be it over W investments or anything, un-derstood? ” He said

” Ok Ace, is that all? ” She asked, looking up at him
” That’s all for now, hope you’re clear” he said

He gave her one smug look before leaving her room…
He got back downstairs and Mr White is alre-ady dozing off on the couch
“Gullibility of the highest order, it’s in his blood” he said mockingly before going out of the house completely

“Snow should be here by now” Evelyn said, glancing at the time, it’s some minutes to seven alre-ady
Drake left some minutes ago
“Maybe she’s still at Sandra’s place” Pinky replied
Evelyn inhaled softly
“Maybe, but she should have called at least”
She took her phone and dialled her number
She picked after the third ring
“Snow, where did you keep your phone and why didn’t you call that you’ll take this long” she said
” Just because you’re my mum doesn’t mean you can control me” she replied coldly
” Isn’t that Snow?” Evelyn said unbelievably
“Sure, it’s her, just that right now, I hate people trying to ride me like I’m their car, buzz off ” she said curtly and hung up on Evelyn
” Oh my God!, Is she on drugs?, Why the hell will she talk to me like that” Evelyn said
” What did she say? ” Pinky asked
“don’t you worry, I’ll just call her back” Evelyn replied
She redialled her number but this time, she’s not even picking
“Did something happen?” Evelyn wondered
She sle-pt in the hospital with Pinky that night too…

Home, next morning**
Snow ordered the maid to make only her meal this morning, giving her only five minutes
The maid s-en-sed something is Wrong somewhere
“Is she back to her old self?, Judging by her cold and emotionless voice” she wondered as she made it hurriedly
It’s actually omelette with which she’ll eat bre-ad
She served and Snow ate silently, glaring at no one in p@rticular
Gabriel c@m£ downstairs and noticed there’s only one plate of omelette on the table
“Why?, We’re two at home” he questioned the maid
“It’s Miss, she told me to make only her own” the maid replied
“how egoistic, ok, go make omelette for me too, I think I’ll also go with bre-ad this morning” he replied
The maid bowed and made to leave for the kitchen
“Take one more step and it won’t be nice, I mean the outcome” Snow said, taking a sip of water
The maid st©pped on her tracks
“Snow?” Gabriel said, coming to stay in front of her
“Yes Gabriel” she replied without a pinch of respect
” You just called me by my name?”
“So what?, Is Gabriel not your name, plea-se go away” she replied, rolling eyes at him
“Snow, what has come over you” he said
“I dunno too, just plea-se get out” she replied
“I don’t think it’ll be an offense to hit a daughter like you” he said and raised his hand to sl@p her
She stood and gr@bb£d his hand, without warning, she took it in her mouth and bit it ha-rd
*Aarrgh!! ” He screamed in pains
She threw his hand off
She made sure she wounded the place before letting him go
“Now learn to avoid me in this house, bastard!” she spat angrily before climbing upstairs
Blood c@m£ out of the wounded area in his hand
“This is out of it, this is not my daughter, absolutely not my daughter” he said and left the house, his driver drove him to the hospital

” What the heck are you saying!” Evelyn said in horror, seeing Gabriel’s wounded hand with signs of human teeth
“It was Snow, I don’t know what got into her, it’s her, just because I told the maid to make me another plate of omelette, she bit me so ha-rd ” he replied as one of the interns treated the hand
“Snow is not a dog, how could she …” Pinky said surprisingly, sitting up on be-d
” I know right?, Anyone will wonder that way, I’m surprised too, till now I’ve not gotten over the shock, she even called me by my name, she called me Gabriel, my own daughter” he said
” This is unbelievable, I was wondering why she sounds weird on phone yesterday and now this?, It’s not so good” Evelyn said

Snow entered W investments looking regal and authoritative, not looking at anyone, another s£ntence for that is that her face is at angle ninety
She never bothered to reply to the greetings, she just took the elevator to her floor and c@m£ face to face with Ace, sitting at the waiting room just in front of the receptionist
“Why is he sitting here?, Why can’t you let him sit in the office ” she questioned Mandy
” Ma’am, you told me to never let him into your office again”
“I’ll give you this last warning, anytime I come here and meet Ace sitting in here at the waiting room instead of my office, then you know what follows, fool” she said
Mandy bowed
” Let’s go in Ace” she said
Ace stood and win-ked at Mandy before going in with her
The proposals has alre-ady been submitted on her desk
She handed them over to Ace
“You can choose the ones you want” she said
“Good girl” he said, taking them
He threw away the first one

He kept the second and third one on the table
He threw away the fourth one too

Out of about twenty proposals, he chose eight
“Here” he said, handing it over to her
She took them
“Just let the money keep coming in for one more month, then I’ll svçkall the company accounts dry, and how many returns is the company expecting this month” he said
” About hundred million dollars” she replied
“Cool, it’s all mine once they’ve been payed” he said
” As you wish” she replied
“I like that spirit” he said, leaving the office…

Up to thirty times she didn’t pick
Yesterday was too hectic at school

“Is she annoyed that I didn’t call yesterday?” He wondered, staring at his phone as he called again
She picked this time around
“Baby I’m sorry for not calling yesterday, I was just tired, I had an hectic day, but I’m free right now, can we meet” he said
” Who are you to be disturbing my phone with calls, I saved your number as Richa-rd , how did your number even get to my phone” she said
Richa-rd ‘s heart skipped a beat
” This is Snow’s phone right?” He said
“Sure, and who are you?” She asked

The phone almost fell off his hand
“Was that Snow?, The cold voice and inhumane mode of talking” he said, leaning on his car
He tried her number again and again but she’s not picking
He decided to go to the hospital but getting there, pinky has been discharged
“What do I do?” He wondered

Pinky’s wound is healing fast
She walked past everyone in the dinning room without saying anything
She’s about to start climbing upstairs when Evelyn stood

” Evelyn, I’m still talking to you because you’re my mum, if not so I should have taught you some manners now, plea-se stay out of my way” she replied without looking back

” Do I look like a joke to you?, I wish I can strangle you but I’m not that wicked, just…. Don’t cross my lane” she said and climbe-d upstairs, her heels sounding like it’ll uproot the whole house…
“I’m done for, what has happened to my daughter again, this is new and not good, I’m finished!” Evelyn ranted
” Big sis has changed overnight” Pinky said sadly, losing appetite instantly
“I really don’t know how to address this” Gabriel Wondered

” Richa-rd ,mum mustn’t come out to meet you that you aren’t slee-ping, she’ll be worried” Drake said
Richa-rd walked to his room to continue pacing around till daybreak…

Snow got re-ady for work first thing in the morning
She c@m£ downstairs and never said a word to anyone
“Snow what’s happening, tell me dear, just tell me why you’re behaving like this plea-se” Evelyn said pleadingly, coming closer to her
“I think I told you not to talk to me” she said

She left the house
“Something is Wrong somewhere” Evelyn said in tears .
“Absolutely” Pinky replied
Gabriel stood on his tracks, unable to pinpoint where it c@m£ from

Snow drove to work as fast as possible, to submit the proposals to Ace and make him choose again
She got to work and parked her car and just as she c@m£ out, she c@m£ face to face with Richa-rd , standing in front of the building
“Finally I saw you” he said happily, he c@m£ to her and pu-ll-ed her to a ti-ght hvg but she pushed him away and that was followed by a thun-derous sl@p on his cheek
“Are you deranged?, How dare you even come closer when I don’t know you!, Oh, Richa-rd ?, You must be the persistent caller, why the fv¢k are you here!” She spat angrily…
