I couldn’t sleep last night,I can’t wrap my head around the fact that Mr Alexander my bossy boss nearly ki-ssed me . my phone rang and I checked the caller ID and it was Mildred . ?my bestie is such a life saver.
” Emma actually your ….” she was saying immediately I picked up buh I caught her shut .
” Mildred I think Mr Alexander nearly ki-ssed me yesterday and I…” I stopped talking when everyone screamed and I realized I was on speaker. ” you placed the call on speaker ? I asked annoyed. ‘ girl that’s what I wanted to tell you…and I’m with your mom and grandma right now” mimi said and I ru-bbed my forehead.
” Emma what am I hearing about you and your boss sharing ki-sses ? mom scolded and I froze. ” huh …mom it didn’t happen ” I said immediately. ” stop scolding her Sara it didn’t even Happen” my cool grandma said.
” your spoiling Emerson mama lorreta , she’s not suppose to be sharing ki-sses with such a powerful wealthy man because they’re world’s apart. Erik already hurt her before I won’t let me North continue from where he stopped” mom said angrily.
” mom calm down, I’m not even sure if he wanted to ki-ss me okay” I said softly. ” oh really now ? don’t tell me your in love with him already sweetheart , unrequited love is not something I want any of my kids to be a part of ” she said worriedly.
” mom ” I said but she fell quiet in the background.
” oh my baby , when did you find out ? she asked referring to my feelings for Mr Alexander.
” yesterday mom , I realized I love him so much ” I said and I could hear Mimi squiling in the background and mom Sm-acked her head making me laugh.

I walked down stairs after the phone call and Mia ran into my arms with her backpack. ” baby I missed you” I said and she chuckled. ” me too nanny ” she said happily.
” really ? my princess did not miss daddy fluffs how unfair. ” sir said joining us looking so handsome in his black Armani suit and Italian shoes. I can’t help but wonder how someone can be so good looking.
” Emma you stare a lot but you’re a shy baby ” sir said and my eyes nearly came outta their sockets and my mouth fell open in o shape as he chuckled.

Today is Mia’s award day , and the day of my meeting with my foriegn investors . I just hope everything goes as plan. ” daddy fluffs it’s award day …” Mia said excitedly as she twirl in front of me so I could see her preety dress . ” you look beautiful princess Mia ” I said and she smiled.
” good morning sir ” Emma said as she walked over to me dressed in a black formal gown and hair in a bun ,she looks extremely beautiful I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
” daddy fluffs ” Mia called and I turned my attention to her . ” yes baby ” I said and she gave me signal to bend to her level. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion but still bent down.
” stop staring at nanny with your eyes open ,or flies will throw a tea party inside ” Mia said and my jaw dropped as she burst out laughing.
my daughter is getting more naug-hty everyday.
“:Mia baby c’mon let’s get going” Emma said and we all walked outta the mansion. it’s my first time attending any of Mia’s school activities since she started school and she’s so excited to have me here .
” good morning Mr and Mrs north ” the school guard said immediately we walked to the gate and Mia ran in. Emma looked at the man in shock. “your mistaking sir … he’s” she tried explaining but I pulled her with me and nod at the guard .
” sir he just called me mrs north ,we should have corrected him ” she said and I frowned.
” why ? I asked teasingly.
” sir what do you mean by why ? ” she asked with a confused look on her face.
” as long as you keep calling me sir , get ready cause I’m gonna start calling you Mrs north” I said and she su-cked on her breath. ” sir…” she said I stared into her eyes. ” yes Mrs north” I said and she blus-hed red .
” Nanny ??? Mia called and waved at us while laughing happily with her friends.
The ceremony started about thirty minutes later and they started calling the students one after the other to take their awards . I could see my daughter was so excited to get called.
my phone rang and shit it’s my secretary Nina . this meeting with the investors is really important for Golden Corp. ” sir don’t tell me it’s work , Mia really wants you here ” Emma said and I li-cked my li-ps anxiously.
I glanced at Mia with her friends and she waved at me happily and my heartached for my little minion . ” Emma Mia will un-derstand , I’m doing this for her future” I said and Emma looked away angrily and didn’t say a word . my phone rang and I picked. ” I’m on my way Nina ” I said and left.

I can’t believe Mr Alexander really chose work over Mia . ” and best straight A this year’s kindergarten student goes to Mia Alexander north” the announcer said and everyone gave a round of applause. Mia was smiling buh immediately she went upstage looked at my direction and didn’t find Mr Alexander,hot tears rolled outta her eyes.
” let the student’s parents come upstage and receive her award ” the announcer said buh Mia just kept staring into space . people started mumuring amongst themselves.

” Mia ” I called buh she looked away. ” Mia pls don’t stay silent nanny loves you okay” I said and hu-gged her in tears as she refused to say a word.
” Mia daddy is back …” sir said and tried to touch her but she pulled her hands angrily.
” baby I’m sorry ,see daddy bought your favorite chocolate” he said and bent to her level. ” ion want chocolate” she said and pushed them away ?????????
” it’s you I wanted in school , you don’t love me daddy it’s always work work work” she screamed and he looked shocked at her out burst. ” baby …” he hu-gged her but she pulled away.
” noooooooooo you don’t have time for Mia ,I don’t wanna see you just go away, mummy left me for the stars ,and you leave for work Everytime” she kept crying whilst chocking on her tears.
” baby ” I said and picked her in my eyes as she cried in my arms. ” I’m here for you sweetheart” I said while staring at Mr alexander. ” I love you mummy ” she said and I froze while Mr Alexander looked Frozen on his sp-ot.

Mia refused to talk to me even after dinner she just went to bed like that . without even saying goodnight. ive really hurt my little girl today. I’m still shocked that she called Emma her mom. I stood outside her door waiting for Emma to come out and tell me how she is . Emma came out and ignored me.
” how is she Emma ? I asked desperately. ” sir are you seriously asking me that ? I told you not to leave,but after all I have no right to I’m just Mia’s nanny and your the boss , I have no right because I’m not her mother right ? she asked hurt and I bit my lower li-p.
” Emma it’s not like that, your important to Mia and I ,I can’t take care of Mia without you” I said and she looked away. ” good night Mr Alexander” she said and left for her room.

I can’t sleep especially after my outburst on Mr Alexander an hour ago,or maybe it’s because of this half sewed night wear ma’am Stephanie bought for me ?
I will never spend my ha-rd earned money on such an indecent half sewed dress. I got down from my bed and wore my room sli-ppers. I’m so thirsty. I checked my bed side table and raised the jug . ” oh I forgot to refill” I said when I noticed there’s nothing in the jug.

I picked the jug and walked outta my room. I was on my way towards the kitchen , when I remembered I forgot my robe in the room , should I go back ?
no it’s already midnight everyone must be asleep by now.
